Pros: Beautiful gardens, kids lived the pool, near the beach, comfortable beds and sheets, AC, great breakfast...but the best part was the warm, helpful hosts.
Cons: A little hard to find at night, even with GPS. Everything else was perfect.

Pros: Friendly owners, nice view, comfortable, relaxed
Pros: Copious and varied breakfast offerings Congenial and helpful hosts Beautiful interior and exterior design with pool and parking onsite Easy access to Barcelona by train
Pros: Marcia & Vicente are superb hosts, you could not wish to have nicer people. The property is wonderful, lovely pool and gardens and ocean views. Great breakfasts and beds all made up when you return to room! Easy access via train into center of Barcelona. Beach is nice and just short walk from hotel, although steep hill and steps coming back, but good exercise! Clean, clean clean! Highly recommend this wonderful place.
Pros: Peace and quiet
Located in Masnou, Hotel Llar de Capitans is within a 15-minute drive of Illa Fantasia and L'Auditori. Featured amenities include luggage storage and an elevator (lift). Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Great last minute offer
Cons: It's not exactly on the beach, you have to pass through a bit creepy tunnel
Cons: There was no electricity and hot water, a scandal hotel. Staff is lying. The electricity is turned off at night, but only for the rooms. Discount is not given
Pros: really nice place, close to beach, quick connection with Barcelona Central ( 25 min/ 1.5€ one way , train)
Pros: Staff, location, service, room
Pros: The hotel was amazing. What a find. Room was huge, staff couldn't do enough for you and the food was great. Will definetly be back
Pros: Beautiful heritage building, nice beach in front of the hotel, veey friendly and helpful staffs
Pros: The hotel location and bed comfort
Cons: They did not clean my room after the first day and they were rude and not polite to me.
Pros: Wonderful looking building. Staff was friendly & helpful. Outdoor and indoor dining looked fun. Shower was good
Cons: The ground floor room was a bit depressing and a bit stifling, though clean. The front office closed down early and opened late in the morning.
Pros: I was surprised that the room was souterrain, I didn't see that in their ad. It was the last room available, that makes sense now. The receptionist was extremely helpful! We were pick pocketed in Barcelona and she came with us to the police to translate with the owner's ok. The hotel above ground was wonderful, a real captain's lair, classically speaking, not rustic in any way.
Cons: El Masnou is situated along the beach and behind on uphill. There is a train track and a busy road in front of the hotels and stores and bars. It is very busy and noisy because of that.
Pros: Early check in was possible and a nice surprise; communication in advance via whatsapp to inform us about check in time; good food at their restaurant. Pleasant and efficient check in staff (Slovakian girl). Spacious room in 19th century building of sea captains, with only 7 rooms, high ceilings and our room had a balcony with a sea view.
Cons: The room was not so clean, although it’s just been cleaned for our check in - several long thick black hairs on the white cover of one of the beds; one of the white bed covers was stained; dust on the floor and in the furniture where shoes or luggage is kept; smell of pipes in the toilette. The information book in the room didn’t specify until what time is breakfast available, as start time was different on Sunday vs Monday; had to call the reception and unpleasant experience both times (felt I was disturbing them, they were busy with something else). The restaurant staff speaks no English but that’s ok as long as the reception girl or the chef is available - however, the second reception girl didn’t seem to understand well, she translated my request for red wine into white wine, then at my observation (I can figure out some Spanish), she ordered rose wine (!) before me really pushing for red. Same for iberico pork, she told me it’s beef:) The waitress at dinner time didn’t want to give us a table with 4 seats (we were 2) and insisted on squeezing us at a table for 2, although we were the only customers for the whole evening! We finally moved to another table, but it felt we are asking a lot. The list can go on. Not sure if that’s the standard because high season is over, but except the check in lady and the chef who was kind and made an effort, very unimpressed with the overall service and would not return because of that.
Cons: Not hotels fault, but noise from roads and railway line very very noisey, but as I said this is not hotels fault

Pros: Friendly reception, in house dining
Cons: The beds were like camp beds, hotel needs to supply proper beds
Pros: Excellent location. Very nice stuff! thanks for all!
Cons: A bit noise the cleaners in the morning. We had the impression they were rebuilding the room across the hallway meanwhile cleaning :)
Pros: Lovely people and perfect location
Pros: Masnou is beautiful province. Just 10 minutes drive from barcelona. Room and the other places of hotel is very clean. I found few very nice restaurant in port masnou, which is located in front of hotel Torino. Very cute hotel with friendly staff.
Cons: Maybe only Breakfast
Pros: The staff are great. The room was a good size and very clean, it was cleaned and bed made every day. Wifi is good. Location for reaching Barcelona from is very good, dead easy on the train. The breakfast although not free with the booking is reasonably priced, varied and substantial. We would stop again.
Cons: Bathroom was a bit small, not much room to 'manoeuvre' on the toilet. The lift is tiny.
Pros: The staff, the friendly atmosphere,
Cons: The room was a bit on the small side.
Pros: The owner/manager (I don't know) is a kind person, my flight to Barcelona was late and he waited for me until 23:45 to let me in.
