The room was big and clean with a view over the local vineyard. The T.v was in a separate area outwith the room, which meant you didn't have to disturb your partner when watching it. N/A
The pool area was great, our kid loved it! The weather was hot but our room was still rather cool. Food and wine were good. The room was spacious and even had a separate TV room with a sofa that we could use as an extra bed for our kid. The toilet should have some renovating.
Very good value food and wine and very attentive staff Interior a bit dated and slightly off-putting on arrival
a nice pleasant relaxing atmosphere with good food and good accomadation with very pleasant and welcoming staff
Staff were very friendly, even though we didn't speak the same language!
Easy to find, wonderfully helpful staff, room was large and comfortable, great restaurant downstairs with terrific wine selection Distance provided to Bernkastel Kues is completely wrong, and this is the reason that we chose this hotel. Not sure if this is the fault of the hotel or the site.
picturesque location, lovely meal at hotel's restorant We booked 2 double rooms but when we've arrived only one room was available in this hotel and the other one was offered in the next hotel: it was very close but we travelled with friends and would like to stay at the same place all together.
The hotel was very comfortable. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.
Weliked the location of the hotel, and the food, and the breakfast was very good too. no
Relaxing town. Restaurant at Steffensberg was excellent. We departed at 6:30 am for the airport but there was no one awake to check us out. We should have mentioned our departure plans when we arrived.
Restaurant closed on Mondays, which was not mentioned on the website.
Friendly staff: simple hotel which is excellent value for money.
Big, clean rooms, with nice view. We booked for a triple room and were given an extra double room at the same price "to be more comfortable"! Great breakfast for the price of the room. Free parking. Not a luxury hotel, but excellent value for money. Plus Enkirch is a great location to stay, if you want to explore the Mosel and Rhein areas. Highly recommended. There is no phone in the room (not important to us, but might be to some people). There is no elevator (3 floors), but the building is in a traditional country style and maybe it is not allowed to have one(?)
Position on the Moselle was perfect for day explorations of the area
Hotel was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and the food excellent Parking very limited
Hotel Loosen is located in a small village on the beautiful Mosel. Perfect for those that love to bike. One is able to rent a bike there as well as have storage for bikes that one takes to bike along the Mosel. We reserved the apartment and it was more than what we were looking for.
Friendliness of staff, garage for motorcycles
Good location in a nice town on the Mosel. Good selection of food for breakfast No bad points
Very quiet and peaceful. One of the windows in our room overlooked the beer garden and the curtains did not close. The security light came on and lit up our room at 2.00 am.
Easy access, low price, parking nearby (and not occupied), big rooms, near city of the village Hard beds, restaurant was closed wednesdays, ordinary breakfast
At our arrival, we did not found the reception because the hotel is divided between many buildings and in the main building, there was no person. We got our keys from the waitress at the "Alte Scheune" (pub). There has also been a little misunderstanding about the breakfast. As we booked an appartment (with cooking possibilities), the administration of the hotel apparently thought we would not take a breakfast at the hotel. But as the breakfast was in according to the information we got vie booking.com, we insisted on our breakfast. After all, everything was served to us very well and we were happy to stay there.
Free web few intarnational tv chanels
Location could not be better - Right in Frankfurt Hahn-Airport. Clean, efficient, warm and great breakfast.
Ok hotel just across the airport. rooms really minimum size Size of room and only seating for one
The hotel's location right in front of the airport terminal makes it ideal for passengers catching an early morning flight from Hahn.
Room fine, however noisy early in the morning with the sound of showers etc probably the fabric of the wall construction
Minimal necessities, shower barely had water coming out, convenient location Shower, lack of amenities
Access to aitport. We missed the last bus from Frankfurt main station (10pm) and had to catch a taxi.
service attitude Telephone was not really usable--or at least no one seemed to know how to use it!
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Their mascot was a very cute mutt of a dog. It was bare basics, no soap in bathroom, no hairdryer, no frills but very clean. Also no restaurant even though it advertised as having one.
The location is just awesome - it´s literally in front of the airport. If your morning flight is delayed you can conveniently wait in your room as we did. Besides the price is good also!
New hotel located just in front of the Frankfurt Hahn airport and with a very good price-quality ratio.
We loved the view over Mosel and watching at a beautiful castle wile eating breakfast. Excellent food and restaurant and lovely Spa. We thought the city where a bit boring, everything was closed and did not know oct/nov. was off season.
The ultimate hotel hideaway! Trapped in a time warp somewhere on the Mosel. You expect Baron von Richtoven or Hercule Poirot to walk into the restaurant at any moment. Even the toilets are like an art gallery. Food excellent. Our room was designated as in the main body of the hotel but was actually in an attached part over the public toilets.
Very good service. Food and service in dinning room was outstanding
We had a beautiful junior suite. The breakfast is excellent and so is the food and service in the restaurant.
good hotel,romantic atmosphere
Great location near the wine festival
Fab big room & spotlessly clean. Very nice staff. Over excessive selling of products in the beauty spa....very of putting. Would have used it again except for that.
The service very hospitable
Only stayed one night but was very comfortable and river views were lovely. Staff helpful would stay here again. Appartment very spacious. Not quite sure our dog was welcome seemed to be a lot of restrictions. Was not able to book a table to eat at hotel which was a shame.
The greeting on arrival was very welcoming and genuine. The food and service was superb. Stunning art deco hotel.
The room was spacious, the kitchenette a nice touch for when we didn't want to eat out. The staff was very friendly and professional. The restaurant food is incredible. The scenic location, directly on the Mosel and across from the Ruin Grevenburg is beautiful even in the winter. It is also a short walk to the train station. The bathrooms are a bit on the small side for a four star but typically bathrooms in German hotels aren't very large.
Good location close to Mosel River. Room is comfortable. Tasting at thier winery was quite impressive. All staff are very kind and friendly. But some of them are not fluent in English.
excellent location, excellent rooms and service. restaurant pricey
Very pleasant staff, wonderful location, breakfast very nice.
Hotel staff was very helpful. The hotel is located in an excellent area. The food was not what we expected. We thought they would have hot foods as well as more variety.
we liked the room, the terrace and the wine pub. And it was also in a place that you could walk to other restaurants and the little village.
The wonderful view, quiet peaceful locatopn, very large room, staff helpful, good food The hot food at breakfast could do with some attention.
Very helpful staff with fabulous views from river side, very romantic.
We stayed in a suite, downstairs was a kitchen, dining and living area with a balcony overlooking the Mosel river, upstairs a large bedroom. The room was very clean and the hotel itself was remarkable with local paintings on the walls. Very nice. Hopefully we get to go to Traben-Trarbach again just so we can stay at that hotel. Highly recommended. (We had to pay a little more to upgrade to the suite)
Location, atmosphere, car parking Restaurant and bar expensive
The situation room airconditioning was not very efficient
Friendly Staff. Great location and beautifully decorated hotel. menus only in German.
Very well located on the Mosel river banks, good base to explore the wine region.Rooms have been beautifully refurbished to very high standard. Plenty of car parking. Food of a good standard, especially the breakfast buffet. A dinner menu in English was not available and dining room staff on duty in the evening spoke very little English. Breakfast staff did however speak good english.
Exellent quality, spacious, recently decorated rooms. Luxury facilities, Very pleasant terrace overlooking the river for a drink and food. Pleasant, helpful staff. Peaceful village close by that provides alternatives for eat & drinks if you want. I advise you to do your best to get a room on the river side of the hotel. The other side overlooks a road. There is no noise because of good insulation, but of course it is less attactive as a view.
the rooms, the location, the beer garden The bar
excellent surroundings and very relaxing no wi fi access after repeated attempts and asking for assisitance from reception no problems at other hoterls
All the staff was very kind and most helpfull. The food was very good and the location on the bank of Mosel beautifull. No nothing.
Its position on the Mosel A little soulless. Hygiene in the breakfast room was a concern on one day with uncovered cheese and meat attracting flies.
Nice environment along the Mosel River and nearby vinyards. Nice and confortable room. The breakfast (that was included in the price) was excellent. We booked a room for 2 adults and one child. When we arrived at the hotel the reception told us not having received the information about the child. As a result we got another room (which was a nice room) but not the one we initially booked.
Friendly staff in hotel, large rooms and all in all a lot of space everywhere. Spa had no pool nor jacuzzi this is rare. Hotel should also mention that kids are not allowed to enter spa area. My family didn't visit there at all. Restaurant with dinner and service was not on same level as hotel rooms
Charming little property with large rooms. Nice breakfast spread. No kettle in room but provided on request. Would stay here again if returning to area. Internet access, and a self-serve laundry would be nice. No air-conditioning, so may not be appropriate in summer (was fine for October though).
The Manager was very friendly and cheerful. The surroundings are stunning as is the building. Could do with a few signposts around the place directing us where to go - we went to a few places before finally finding Reception via the back door. Although we had been told where to go for breakfast, again, we had to ask how to access it. Just a few clear signposts would have helped. Other than that, couldn't fault it and would highly recommend it and come back again.
very large and comfortaable room
The spaciousness and cleanliness of the rooms, the location of the hotel, and the guest services
peaceful and very beautiful location, wonderful, big rooms no
The location was perfect for a trip up the Mosel valley and the hotel was excellent. Just wish we had more time on the trip to linger.
Everything - the quality of the fittings, the huge bed, the bathroom, the size of the room, the warmth etc etc. And the breakfast was excellent too.
Extremely spacious, well appointed, comfortable rooms. Breakfast could have had both greater variety and quantities.
spacious, bright room, with Danish influence in design; lovely location along the Mosel river; breakfast was ok, although it could use more variety; very efficient staff; good starting point to visit around (Burg Thurant was a charming and less touristic experience). pillows; internet access
The location was great. Being almost of the river with picturesque villages surrounding it The owner was not very friendly and breakdowns in service (TV and Internet) were not attended to before we left.
This hotel was by far the best one i have ever stayed in!!! The stay began with a receptional greeting that was superb. From there the experience just got better. The Mosel river was a 2-3 minute walk away and the dining was of top chef status...very gourmet. Looking for a great getaway for Valentines day or an anniversary...you have got to go here!!
The Restaurant and the charactere of the building The room had thin wall which means that you clearly hear what'a happening in the next room! However I slept well.
Fantastic lady in red jacket on reception, very helpful. Lovely hotel The staff on the bar for the outside garden needed to be quicker and needed more training
Friendly competent staff. Comfortable, spacious room. Excellent restaurant.
The spa was lovely although it didn't have a pool. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel's location was a little too remote for us. Mulheim is a small village with very little in it.
Quality of breakfast and diner was excellent No bar/frigerator in the room
Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Service very good. Fantastic hotel if you are looking for a romantic and relaxing holiday away from home. Web-site advised golf was 3km away however the closest course was half an hour drive to Trier.
Location, restaurants and rooms Lack of AC and minibar
This has all the ingredients of a top class luxury hotel. The staff (mostly young girls) were pleasant and professional. Breakfasts (with Sekt) and bar meals were also very good. The slight drawbacks mentioned below were therefore all the more frustrating. There seemed to be no "joined-up" management, and no-one really in overall charge. On two occasions we booked at reception for meals but the restaurant did not get the booking. The gourmet restaurant also did not allow guests to eat indoors in the evening (away from insects), so we were forced to eat in the bar, and on another evening we were told we could not eat anywhere in the hotel, and had to find a meal elsewhere. The junior suite we booked was very nice, but surprisingly did not include a bath but only a shower, and being at the dormer level with no airconditioning it was also uncomfortably hot. This hotel has a lot going for it, but seems to need a shake-up to reach true Relais et Chateaux standard.
Excellent service and very nice and beautiful hotel. Many free extras such as borrowing a Porche for free and free entrance to beautiful spa area. The breakfast buffet and the restaurant were excellent.
Plenty of parking; good sauna/pool. Boring & outdated room, worthless pillows, confusing hotel layout.
I stayed for a very short time, but the hotel is very good. None.
Good free wifi and use of fridge in room restaurant is badly run, poor follow up by management of our food complaint.
This hotel was very dog friendly which is a definate plus for us. We also enjoyed the walking trails and pool. The decor is a bit dated and it seemed like everyone was smoking - at least we had a non-smoking room on a non-smoking floor.
Staff was nice and friendly, restaurant at the down stairs was also nice and we had there a good family dinner. There were just terrible the smell of tobacco in our room!!! Argh!!!
Swimming pool is very nice and also the sauna area. Very helpful staff.
Great spa facility that was not busy the weekend we were there. recommend a walk down thru' the vineyards to the river and the challenge of walking back up. Breakfast was excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful.
1. WiFi in room (for a fee) 2. Use of Business Center computer to access internet 3. Nice breakfast buffet 1. Lack of ventilation in room 2. Major convention descended on hotel second night 3. Drunk attempting to enter our room early morning; same drunk leaving a mess in front of our door in the hallway
Although we only stayed one night, whilst breaking our journey, the welcome at the hotel was fantastic. The room was spacious and extremely comfortable, and the evening meal was out of this world - the choice on the menu was excellent, together with the choice of local wines to accompany it. We wished that we were staying longer.
A delightful hotel. We received a warm and friendly welcome from the family owners. A complimentary glass of wine with our (excellent) first night's dinner led us to buy some of the Conrad's own wines, which I can recommend. There's not much to see in Brauneberg itself, but nearby Bernkastel-Kues has a lovely centre (Markt), a spectacular castle and several cafes and restaurants
food good staff friendly booked a room with balcony with a view of the mosel , the hotel is on the wrong side of the road , there is no view of the river. The manager tried to get us to move on the last night so she could allocate the room to another guest by telling us there was a defect in the room.
Very convienent to Hahn airport. Family room was very large and clean - Bathroom very large. Staff friendly and helpful.
Extremely friendly, helpful staff. Quick, comfortable transfer to and from airport. Hotel very close to airport. Very comfortable, lovely room. Excellent breakfast. Couldn't have been better!
the staff were very friendly The bar was awful
Close to airport, clean, big room, free parking
Great staff. Nice material choice and cleanliness of rooms.
Very convenient for the airport. You can walk to the airport - 12mins, or take the mini-bus after returning a hire car. The rooms are modern, and the breakfast is good value.
shuttle into airport Frankfurt/Hahn breakfast can be more better , coffee was very bad :)
The hotel is very near the airport, and they make it very easy to start your trip off in a friendly manner.
It was quiete. Cappucino
We love Ralf and the place itself. Away from the Bernkastel side, it's just a short walk across the bridge. Quiet and pretty but close enough to all the Bernkastel action!
We had a really nice time staying at the hotel.
The stay at Burgblick was extremely enjoyable. The service was what stands out the most as well as the quality of the hotel. There were gummy bears on your pillow when you arrive. The staff was very informative and provided useful information. Breakfast is included in the price for your stay and was really delicious with fresh fruit, bread, pastries, and meats. I highly recommend this hotel.
Cleanliness, friendliness of owners, and modern amenities with wonderful breakfast. Location was perfect, walking distance to town.
Nice selection for breakfast It is quite a walk from the centre
free wifi,breakfast,staff,location, christmas market
Very nice staff. The towels were very luxurious, the white walls and purple colors made a nice environment.
excellent breakfast reception is closed to early in the evening
Staff friendly and accommodating. Ample spacious rooms. The breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. the hotel was not completed, still working on completion, this is understandable. The only really negative was that they would not take my credit card, they stated they were new and that service was not working. I did not take enough cash to cover the Euro 75,00. My husband and I had to scrape together our additional cash to pay and that left us with little to purchase fuel and eat for the last day of our trip.
Nice friendly staff, very designed hotel.
Obviously a brand new hotel that still has some finishing touches to attend to; however very convienient to the airport with a magnificent breakfast. None
Friendly staff, airport shuttle, comfortable beds excellent food in restaurant. when I forgot an item and rang them they searched and found it for me and agreed to ost it home for me . Nothing.
Staff were lovely and free shuttle bus anytime we wanted was excellent service. Would definately stay again. Food was great too. I liked everything about it
Staff were excellent, situated within 3 -5 mins Drive of HAHN terminal, regular shuttles
Very clean. The sauna and relaxation room were lovely and the receptionist was very helpful and obliging and also had very good English, which was a great bonus. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was very good. The coffee etc. for breakfast was well done and there was a very good choice and likewise for teas. Nothing too bad - tea and coffee in the room would have been lovely. It was very wet when we arrived and we were a bit soaked, so a cuppa in the room would have been good. The breakfast was good but the milk and fruit area could have been colder. I am not sure if the fridge was working or not.
Spa and very clean room; extended parking and shuttle service. None
the hotel staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful. They helped me in brinnging back the rented car in the middle of the night with snow. Dinner was good and price reasonable.
Very clean, comfortable. Breakfast was very good.
Beautiful, modern decor. Great interior--lovely restaurant Wonderful spa area and sauna Room extremely small, no instructions on telephone, unable to reach front desk. No clock in room, no glasses for drinking in room.
Excellent service We order honeymoon room, but did not get it, but when we have to pay - we have to pay about honeymoon room :(
Thank You for your hospitality, we had a really pleasant stay. Greetings from snowy Finland. Very helpful and friendly smiling staff.
Location The service given was especially bad. We requested to leave before the third night immediately upon arrival before an upcoming extremely busy weekend. So the hotel could have sold the rooms the last night very easy. In stead of this they only wanted to cancel our deal for this last night if they could sell both rooms. In case one room could be sold we even had to change rooms...!!! Sorry, but this madam does not fit in the hotel business. Other than that she pointed out it is a worldwide standard "three star hotel policy" to leave the bed sheets unchanged for three ongoing nights. Completely unacceptable!!!!!!! This hotel does NOT deserve any star in our opinion!!!!!!!!
friendliness of the staff, being so close to all ameneties, local information readily available.
The location; the clean, comfortable room; the efficient and friendly staff.
The whole atmosphere was friendly, welcoming and efficient. All staff were extremely helpful. Room and breakfast perfect .
We especially appreciated the elevator for someone with difficulty to climb stairs.
The quality of service and the friendiness of the staff The quality of the set meal was excellent but to have an either/or choice would have been appropriate
clean bright comfortable room, tastefully decorated, helpful staff. no
Very nice and comfortable small hotel, friendly staff. Breakfast is very good. The hotel restaurant "Cavallerie" is excellent
The 3 course dinner offered as part of the half day board was fabulous !
Nice room with view of Mosel
1.Familiarity - stayed here twice before. Stephanie remembered us - we were glad she is still there. 2. We love the location - nice little town, river and hills. 3. In easy reach of other parts of Mosel by bus and boat. 4. Views from rooms at front - always something to watch!
The friendly and helpful nature of all the hotel staff - in particular the manager of the hotel.
Friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Comfortable beds. Convenient location 1. Bathroom was very small. 2: We had a room overlooking the Mosel, but there were two roads between and it was noisy with the window open (there's no air conditioning)
Friendly atmosphere, good food, comfortable rooms.
very nice location and very good service no air condition ( smell from outside restorants kitchen) could be avoid by the air condition
We found the whole package excellent , especially the management and staff.
the location and closeness to attractions and town hotel is in need of refurbishment
The woman on reception was absolutely lovely and very helpful. We had booked two double rooms with an extra cot-bed, but when we arrived she gave us the option of a family room which was huge, and alot cheaper. We were very impressed with the comfort and cleanliness of the room. The reading lamps beside the beds gave very poor light for reading.
Staff helped us find specific places my wife remembered from childhood and went out of their way to do so. Location is good and family room size perfect. None
Breakfast, location to Mosel None
The room was very clean and well laid out. It was a welcome relief after the previous 4 days staying in Paris! The restaurant had a small menu but the food was very good at a very fair price. We could not park in the hotel parking lot. There appeared to be a number of staff cars there and the hotel was very busy.
The situation of the hotel was ideal. It was in a quiet area with views of the Mosel and lovely river walks and the river ferry station was also very close. It is situated within easy reach of the bustling Bernkastel. Breakfast was very good. We booked a vineyard view but was placed in a room overlooking the Mosel and we appreciated this much better view.
The owner was great!!!! I left my credit card and she went out of her way to work with me to get it back to me. The shower was just ok. The door kept opening and the water temp kept changing
the calm, and the food !! people there also are rather nice a bit lost away from any twon, shops.....without a car it is a bit more difficult
-the rooms are are clean and simple, nothing special. the reception isnt open 24-7.
dining room no fans to cool west facing hot sunny room even with balcony doors open
It was near to the vineyards for a nice walk. Free internet service. We were received just as numbers and not as people. Straight forward, no careing. The room was small, the bathroom minimalistic. We had asked for a twin-bedded room, and got a room with two standard beds in a row after each other. When we complained we were told that this is the way it is in Germany! And certainly, the hotel had nothing like that we asked for.A simple walking-map, fre on most hotels, was 2.5 Euro. The hotel's restaurant (nice) had an excellent menu outside but inside it showed up to have avery limited menu on Wednesdays. The good thing was that we had a low-cost evening. Good service in the restaurant. The hotel's parking garage was almost impossible to enter and even worse to get out of. Parked finally on the municipal P.
The food It seemed a bit "tired"
the position and setting
Very good, modern spotlessly clean room with jacuzzi. Bathroom was really great too. Good breakfast. The only slight disappointment was the bed. We had asked for a room with a double bed and what we actually got was two singles pushed together. In principle not a problem, but these beds were light and with the parquet flooring, they tended to move around quite easily! This could result in some embarassing moments with one of you disappearing in the gap which suddenly opens up between the two beds. Other than that....great!
It was quiet and modern. Bathroom was large. Bed was comfortable Location from town centre. Did not have satellite TV for English channels.
Very good value for money...simple, no frills.
A pleasant Hotel located a short stroll from the centre of a very picturesque town. Staff were friendly and the continental breakfast did not disappoint. A kettle in the room would have been nice.
clean and comfortable. friendly service
They have an excellent restaurant and offered good value for money Although there was a view of the vineyards from the balcany there was a main road and industrial buildings in between. Consequently I was slightly disappointed with the view but overall this was a good hotel offering value for money.
food excellent, staff helpful and friendly, cleanliness also excellent disappointed in size of room considering the cost involved.
Very modern decor and extremely clean. Excellent view of the castle, although was not in walking distance to the town centre.
The location was good, with easy access to Berncastle K.We found the Hotel Volz to be superb, from the warm welcome of the owners, excellent accommodation, charming staff and first class food.Information on the area avalable on site with the owners only too willing to offer advice. We found no fault with this excellent Hotel.
Our double room had a wonderfully large bathtub with jets which you don't often find in European hotels. The breakfast was quite nice. The service at dinner was somewhat slow.
