It wasn't fancy, but it was clean and put together, the bed was comfortable, and it had everything we were looking for.
Over priced. Small room.
Good location for hiking.
It is in dire need of being renovated. Beds weren't queen size and the bathroom has much to be desired.
The hotel staff was friendly and helpful at all times. We had a problem with our sink draining and it was addressed immediately. We also had to cut our stay short and they immediately accomodated us. Definitely worth staying.
I wish there was an indoor pool. But other than that I couldn't say there was anything wrong with this hotel :)
Proximity to the show I was doing.
Very small room. Very dated. Furnace wouldn't turn down... had to turn on a/c to make temp bearable.
I was really impressed. The staff was extremely friendly. The room was adorable. Really cute rustic decor. Nothing fancy, just cute and clean. The room was equipped with a coffee maker and mini fridge.
The location is ideal.
The service of the personnel.
Room was prepared, location was nice, all the necessary amenities included. Friendly staff.
No written instructons on how the shower works.
It was very nice and quiet. The property is older but very well kept up and clean. The staff is absolutely great and helpful. Will be staying here everytime I stay in Estes park!!!
Price was reasonable in an expensive tourist town. Location was good. The pool was closing the day we arrived, but the hot tub was great!
We had two minor complaints: very squeaky bathroom door which was an issue in the night (easily fixed with a shot of oil), and it appeared the room wasn't vacuumed in the 4 nights we were there. Also, a little harder to fix was the noisy water pipe.
Friendly, helpfull staff.
Room door needed some adjusting and hot water had some issues. Otherwise, exactly what was expected.
Very noisy and the bathroom was too small.
This was a perfect place to prep for our backpacking trip in the Rockies!
For high summer season, this hotel was the price we needed since we were staying for a wedding and knew we wouldn't be in the room long. It also allowed us to bring our pet.
Since it's pet friendly, be prepared for a bit of a pet smell. Isn't the most updated place but we expected that.
It was clean and near town.
Staff were unfriendly during check in. We rode motorcycles and the severe slant in the parking lot made it difficult to park them. The staff would not let us park close to the front where the slant was less severe.
Loved the heated pool :)
The pipes are old, so they clicked a lot when showers were going.
The location was good and the staff was nice.
Beds were too firm. Room needed some repair - gaps around door and trim work half / sloppy painting. Parking lot quite beat up - half gravel. Poor lighting in rooms. No place to hang clothes in room.
Newly remodeled rooms and the location is good
No Breakfast food.
Very clean. Nice ambiance. Reminded me of trips as a kid. GREAT price for value.
No. Awesome stay.
Location for our event.
Room did not have what was advertised...first night no refrigerator, no coffee maker, toilet would not refill when flushed, dripping water in tub, very poor tv reception with static picture & buzz. Pillows were very uncomfortable.
the location and price was fantastic!
The price and location can't be beat.
Staff wasn't very nice. Cut my hand on the shower curtain ring (which wasn't secured) and refused any assistance... not even a band aid or an apology. Would have been nice if towel rack and yoilet paper holder hadnt fallen off the wall when used.
The staff were really friendly and went out of there way for my situation.
Was kind of expensive for what you got.
The room was comfortable - great bed. It was very warm when I checked in and I couldn't get the A/C to work. There was a fold-in window which cooled it down later in the evening. Otherwise, OK. There are no eating places within walking distance.
Clean and quite
The staff was excellent and very helpful. It has a great location in Estes Park and views of mountains.
The room we stayed in had no phone, no hair dryer and a very small bathroom. A breakfast would be nice!
The location along with the view was good.
My family and I recently rented 2 rooms for 2 nights. one of the rooms let little to be desired.... the toilet ran all night and there were only one wash clothe and one hand towel....
this is a basic old style 1950's/ 60's property; it appears well maintained and is clean but is definitely dated and the parking area is in need or repair. it provided a good night's sleep for a one day stay.
Several rooms have recently been remodeled and while the old furniture was still there the room was very new and clean. Friends were in the 2 bedroom suites and those are AMAZING!!!
The 'retro' (aka unremodeled) rooms are very outdated but should be remodeled soon. There was no closet in our room which was a problem with wedding clothes. No vanity in bathroom for toiletries.Could use a full length mirror. Beds are old & hard.
