When you stay at Dusit Thani Maldives in Mudhdhoo, you'll be on the waterfront and within the vicinity of Hanifaru Bay and Nelivaru Finolhu. Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. A roundtrip airport shuttle is available for a surcharge.
Pros: Absolutely everything. Starting from arrival, a representative from Dusit Thani met us at Male International airport and took us to the lounge to wait for our domestic flight to Dharavandhoo. They took care of everything from check in to bringing our luggage to our room. I stayed in the Ocean villa and it was the best decision I ever took. The room is amazing and extremely comfortable with all possible amenities (amazing TV with chromecast, bose speakers, molten brown bath accessories, slippers, bathrobe etc.). The swimming pool and sunbeds were amazing and direct access to the sea made it easier for snorkeling. The food at the property is amazing and the chef's are super accommodating for vegetarians. They cooked for us whatever we asked for and it all tasted amazing. The all-inclusive package included hard drinks as well, so we loved it.
Cons: Would be a good idea to include mini bar in the all inclusive package. Apart from this, absolutely everything was perfect.
Pros: very thing was good
Pros: Nice resort, staff is smiling and really tries their best to exceed your expectations. The island is not too small and not too large either, bungalows on land are nicely apart from each other. Trees and bushes nicely preserved. Rooms well kept, good standard. Good dive center as well as other activities offered. Nice for a relaxing romantic getaway for two. It is good that the hotel has three restaurants and you can dine at all of them if you have half board. With a few exceptions everything is included and portions are reasonable in size.
Cons: The Maldives are generally overpriced in comparison to the rest of the world. This hotel is no exception. It is understood that almost all food has to be brought in and it adds to the costs, but I think food is overpriced for what you get. The costs of upkeeping a really wide international selection at breakfast must be huge, so perhaps a suggestion here - sometimes less is more, meaning offer less selection, but at an even higher level of quality. Any other service offered is quite expensive as well since no competition exists.
Pros: The staff and the property
Pros: Our honeymoon was a dream come true, the staff went above and beyond to ensure that we enjoyed every second of our honeymoon, this place offers so many fun activities and also has a spa and everything you need to relax and enjoy, and I’d like to take this opportunity to thank every single one from management to housekeeping, and a special thanks to the manager Mr. Nahid, our buttler Nizam, our housekeeper Hameed, Chef Ibrahim, Azeem, Faisal from the Market restaurant, Alex and Chef Vikash for arranging our romantic dinner
Located in Horubadhoo Island, Royal Island Resort And Spa is by the sea and within the vicinity of Nelivaru Finolhu and Dharavandhoo Mosque. Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, express check-in, and express check-out. A roundtrip airport shuttle is available for a surcharge.
Pros: it’s our 2nd time at Royal Island. Will definitely coming back. We like everything there.
Pros: Surrounding nature.
Cons: Price of extras were extremely high.
Pros: Amazing place , the beach villa right in front of the ocean, the view , the staff witch was very kind and helpfull all the time, and many times we had the feeling that we were only us around witch was exactely what we need it , just dissconect for a while from the nosy world , only with the waves sound on the background. Tottaly worth it . Ahhh and one more thing , everything was very well organised, we didnt have to wait at all for the domestic flight, pick up, boat ,everything sharp on time, we were really impressed.
Pros: Awesome restaurant food for Asian/Middle East cuisine. Great price for the quality provided. Great snorkeling within the reef and you should definitely go for the turtle snorkeling just 10 minutes from the hotel by boat. Very helpful staff. The beach bedrooms are right at the front of the beach and couldn't be better.
Cons: In some of the rooms, the length of the beach is too small so you cannot take direct sun at the sunbeds and you should go to a place where the sand length is bigger. However, we requested to change the room so we could take direct sun just at the front of the room and the staff was great and moved us.
Pros: White sands beach around the island,Amazing.
Cons: Heavy traffic at the ferry need more control for the safety.
Pros: The privacy our villa had was superb along with the view. The service of the host and staff were outstanding.
Cons: I think the food can be a little pricey. Paying for the buffet was actually more expensive for lunch and dinner as opposed to eating at the buffet for all 3 meals. Each meal costed 2 of us ~50.00 USD total, the buffet would have been a little more than double that total.
Pros: Everything is perfect! Location , Room , Food and the view.. They really treat me like a princess.. everything its just like one call away. ;) Sajid who is the one assist me on everything.. you doing a really great job buddy :) tq so much you the best! Arvind and Lateef doing a great job as well. Definitely will come and stay here again!
Cons: Nothing! is sad i have to end my vacation just that.
Pros: Most of the stuff is very friendly. The pick up from the airport and return to it is really well organised. Internet works good.
Cons: Overall impression of the facility is not five-star. There is a substantial lack of food prominence, both in taste and variety. Stuff is in abundance, however, rather slow so there is still time needed to get the services that are subject to further improvements.
Pros: Sea and the beach was very nice.Staff is quite helpful.perfect location. .Prefer staying at a beach villa which is just by the sea
Cons: Food should be improved, restaurants need renovation. In rainy season , sea conditons change rapidly which affects your transfers
Pros: For the price we paid, this hotel was exceeding our expectation. What I like the most is the fact that you got a really nice spot for snorkling just at the back of your room, you don't need to use boat to go to other atoll/location.
Cons: The hotel room was a bit small (especially if you're travelling with children). And the TV can really get a new replacement :) Also nothing much to do after it get dark (well, nothing much that can involved kids...)
When you stay at Soneva Fushi in Kunfunadhoo, you'll be convenient to Nelivaru Finolhu. Featured amenities include a business center, express check-in, and express check-out. Event facilities at this resort consist of conference space and a meeting room.
Located in Dharavandhoo, LVIS blancura is by the sea, minutes from Dharavandhoo Mosque, and close to Hanifaru Bay. Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and luggage storage. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: - Lovely staffs with a great service mind. - Good food especially dinner and clean. - Caring of any special request from customers. - Well planning for a trips and on-time service. - Owner always check on customer’s satisfaction. - Nice location. - Compare to pricing is 10/10
Cons: - Breakfast can be improved a bit to be perfect if compare to dinner.
Pros: 10 out of 10 in every way! We LOVED our stay at LVIS Blancura and didn't want to leave. Everything was perfect, the location can't be beaten on the beach, the staff were excellent, the food was out of this world wonderful, small touches, grand gestures, just all of it. If this place has made it to your short list then stop wondering whether to book and just do it.
Pros: The food at the dinner and lunch was excellent and was beyond our expectations-the chef was always present and was giving us cooking recipes if asked. The staff was superfriendly, helpful-just perfect as a team!
Cons: That we could not stay longer!
Pros: The staff
Pros: location in a real Maldivian town (not a resort island), "hostel vibe"--lots of people from around the world meeting up and interacting, but could also be a nice quiet couples retreat. Good for families.
Cons: Nothing, but could've had an information sheet listing schedule/cost for meals, what activities are available, whether or not they have housekeeping, etc. But this really is not very important--we easily figured it out and the laid-back feeling is a part of the charm for us!
Pros: The staff is FAB.(Lishan is number 1, really great guy). All people are kind and always friendly and helpful. The cuisine is great, the cook is really good. The position on the beach is the best of the location. The excursions are well prepared and not too expensive so I really suggest to go and see the mantas.
Cons: The rooms have no standard windows, just a big window like in a shop constantly covered by a curtain not to be viewed from external. The lights in the room are too low, I'd have preferred some brighter bulb as it's really difficult to see.
Pros: It’s small but cozy and self-sufficient. Great value for money option to those on a budget. Stunning tranquil views right on the property. Convenient location from Hanifaru Bay Marine Reserve and all the activity spots (fishing, diving, snorkelling etc).
Cons: Food should be more varied and have more Maldivian flavours.
Pros: Good value for money, pretty and clean rooms. Staff were all amazing. We took full board and did not regret at all! All food was delicious and it saved us bother of searching for food somewhere else. We chilled in the garden or on the beach that is right in front of the accommodation. The beach is clean and peaceful, great for snorkeling. They also offer different trips on the boat, e.g. manta watching-snorkeling, sand bank.
Cons: Everything was great. Since it is a local island, no alcohol is served here.
When you stay at HANIFARU TRANSIT INN in Dharavandhoo, you'll be on the beach and 3 minutes by foot from Dharavandhoo Mosque. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: I have no words to describe how wonderful was our stay at Hanifaru Тransit Inn. Everything was great - big and extremely clean room, food, activities that they arrange for us. People that work there are not just staff, they became our friends. We were in Paradise, clear water, white sands, variety of fishes, palm trees and everything just 5 minutes walk from home. If you want to live Maldivian life for a while, to eat delicious food (best food at the island!), just stay at Hanifaru Transit Inn. Thank you for the best honeymoon that you helped to happened!
Pros: Very close to the beach.
Cons: All the mess at the front of the hotel.
Pros: A comfortable and clean hotel. Very friendly and helpful owners, I want to thank them personally. They created a family atmospere for us. Very good breafasts which were a mix of local and international cuisine. Very good dinners at quite a resonable price. Close to the beach (about 12-15 minutes walk), hotel sofas on the beach.
Cons: We liked everything
Pros: We had the most amazing 5 days on this beautiful island and were so sad to leave. The owner is absolutely brilliant and so helpful. We went solely to see the manta rays and every day he would tell us how many mantas have been spotted so we can decide whether to go. He also sorted out our transport to and from the island and met us as soon as we got to the island. The two boys who cook and clean are also fantastic offering 5* service. The breakfast is delicious and so much food! (pancakes, Maldivian options, toast, juice and tea) and we chose to eat here every night which was high quality and great value for money. With every meal we got poppadoms and fruit salad dessert included. Free tea and drinking water all day too which is a plus! On our manta trip we saw between 30-40 mantas (make sure you go near a full moon to see the most!) the trip was incredible, everything we hoped for. We also went on a snorkelling tour through the guesthouse which I highly recommend. We saw 3 turtles and a few reef sharks. The snorkelling guide was really good at spotting things out and never left us. He also was happy to take photos and films on our go pro. Dharavandhoo is really small but cosy, the bikini beach is beautiful and there is sun loungers for all. We spotted dolphins from the beach so keep an eye out! The rooms were really great, so big and comfortable. Lots of storage options. Beach towels were also included. We were there in rainy season (June) and had 2 out of 6 full days of bad rain but didn't mind as the WiFi is super fast! Thank you for an amazing stay, we hope to come back again!!
Pros: Ahmed and his staff were Very friendly and helpful..
Pros: Everything was perfec!
Pros: Incredible staff, great food and a very cozy guesthouse.
Pros: Amazing host, we stayed only one night still were treated like Kings :) Airport pickup super dinner an very very friendly welcome. If I knew how good it is we would have stayed more on the island and let our host arrange everything. Important tip for all that want to visit the Maldives on a budget, book this accommodation and ask the host to arrange domestic flight, boat transport and all trips. This will save you a lot of money and will make the stay much more pleasant :))
Cons: Value for money is perfect, don't expect 5 star hotel for this price.
With a stay at Madi Finolhu Guesthouse in Maalhos, you'll be on the beach and close to Nelivaru Finolhu and Dharavandhoo Mosque. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. For a surcharge, guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle (available 24 hours) and a ferry terminal shuttle.
Pros: A great guest house run by fantastic, friendly, very helpful people. Great place for active recreation (a diving base, fishing with local fishermen, a wonderful beach and the sea). Nice rooms, lunches and dinners on the beach, great cuisine. I highly recommend
Pros: The food was really good and varied. Friendly chef as well! Friendly personnel, local people as well. Free water which was refilled often. Room and bathroom spacious. Nice little garden en seats outside. We were involved in all the feast activities that were happening that week. It was great to have been a part of that. Martin arranged all activities and transfers and was flexible and very kind.
Cons: The room was not at the beach as the photos suggested but a 2min walk (still really close). Some of the personnel did not speak English very well so sometimes it was difficult to communicate. Not a lot of warm water in the shower. Depended on the other guests using their shower around the same time.
Pros: The guesthouse is cozy. Located on the very clean island of Maalhos it suits all your needs. The rooms are spacious, equipped with a comfy bed, AC, fridge, kettle. The open bathroom is luxurious. The room has a small terrace with two chairs. The meals are served directly at the beach with a wonderful view. You can book lunch and dinner and I highly recommend to do so. You'll get typical Maldivian dishes, very tasty. Water is served in nice glass bottles (reduces plastic waste) and you can get as much as you want. The owner Martin picked me up at the airport in Dharavandhoo. From there it's just 10 min. by speedboat to Maalhos. The island has a lively house reef, home to many turtles. If you're into diving the ambitious instructors of "Maldivers" will take care of you. I went on a manta trip with them which I enjoyed very much. You can also book yoga lessons. I recommend "Islandsparetreat", Kate's sunrise yoga at a sandbank is legendary. About the island: It's a very traditional island, where you can experience local life first hand. Women come out in the evening and sit together in the sand, children are playing. As a guest you'll be part of the daily life. Ask Martin or Kate for coconut oil. It's a very authentic souvenir, produced by local women.
Pros: The room size.
Pros: The staff was really friendly, the place is really good and the nature and environment is exquisite!
Cons: The food needed more variety and options especially for the breakfast.
Pros: Our stay at Madi Finolhu Guest House was such a nice and relaxing holiday at Maldives. The guest house is on a beautiful local island (Maalhos) were no touristy resorts destroy the corals and wildlife. The people at the village are all very friendly and helpful. We had a warm welcome (incl. pick up from the airport) and nice intro by Martin, owner of the guest house, about the Maldives and the local people. The room had a nice open shower which we really liked. The staff has been friendly and helpful throughout the whole stay. Lunch and dinner was always served on the beach which was really nice. The guest house also offers a bunch of activities, starting from snorkeling tour to night night fishing. Prices are more than okay if you compare it to the resort one. We made a lot of friends up there and will definitely come back! Thanks to all from Madi Finolhu Guest House.
Cons: We had new rooms, maybe a TV would be nice but we didn’t need it because we didn’t spend much time at the room;-)
Pros: we are very glad to choose local meal - it was delicious.
Cons: I hope one day you will have modern stove to burn all rubbish without harming environment.
Pros: Enjoyed my morning coffee. Staff very friendly and kind
Cons: Meals all a little samey,
Located in Dharavandhoo, Blue World Dharavandhoo is minutes from Dharavandhoo Mosque and close to Hanifaru Bay. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. A roundtrip airport shuttle is complimentary (available 24 hours).
Pros: Huge rooms and very spacious shower/toilets. Very comfortable beds, ample space to dry wet gear and clothes outdoors on the clothes racks provided. Super freedom with bikes to get around the whole island. Just a stone's throw away from the airport terminal and a convenient walk to the jetty from where the dive boat leaves or the beaches. Close to supermarkets/convenience stores and restaurants. Lots of chillout space around the property to laze in the sun or shade in any weather. The dive instructor was super cool and proficient. The resort owner met us on arrival and was always around to offer advice or assistance with anything that we needed.
Cons: Breakfast service could be improved as well as the menu choice.
Pros: We had the most beautiful days in Blue World! Since the moment we booked, they helped us a lot with loads of information regarding the island, the flights etc. The place was very beautiful, they have a nice yard where we used to chill in the nights. The rooms were comfortable and clean. We got the full board package and the food was always more than enough. Very friendly staff, always willing to help us and make us feeling super comfortable. We definitely reccomend this either to couples, families or friends! Thank you for the amazing experience Blue World!
Pros: Amazingly friendly and helpful staff, going out of their way to ensure you have the best stay. The rooms are really spacious and very clean with the best shower! Easy walk from the airport and affordable packages to do activities.
Cons: It’s quite a far walk to the bikini beach, but if you don’t mind the walk then you’re all good!!:) (hardly a complaint)
Pros: The food was good and more then enough, area was clean, room are big for a couple, the staffs and area are very comforting.
Cons: Add some toiletries tq
Pros: Amazing team, helpful in every situation, made us super happy! Would go again every time!
Pros: From the beginning, Greta and Jim were so helpful answering all the emails I sent with a lot of questions regarding our reservation (I was surprised that Jim even speaks Spanish). It’s a pity we could not meet them. When we arrived Appi was already outside waiting for us to bring us to the place (which is just a few meters walking from the airport, amazing!) there, we got a refreshing welcome drink while Appi introduced us all the members of staff. Our stay was perfect from the first day till the end, the guest house is cozy and warm and the garden is fantastic !! but I must say that coffee recently grounded to wake up in the morning is the best!!! (we are a kind of caffeine addicted
Pros: The staff are exceptional. Appi, Faisal, Shereef, and the three who cleaned the room, prepared our food and assisted on the snorkeling tours. They took care of our requests and assisted in every way they could to make our stay memorable. Always willing to find a solution to any requests you may have. Thank you all for a wonderful vacation. We saw mantas but left one day too early for the whale shark sighting.
Cons: Dinner was served too late for us.
Pros: Though a bit far away from the center of the island the location was great. Staff was very hospitable.
Cons: Though the toilets were clean, there was some unpleasant smell in the toilet even when we checked in. Would suggest some freshener that would keep the smell off.

Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Taking a break away from the city life, it’s the best place to be in to take your mind off everything and just relax. The sun, sand and the sea, perfect. The stay here was definitely worth, from their service to experiencing their local culture. So many things that can be done in just 3 days! Staying here enables you to fully relax, having the best experience of local food and culture. Good place to come back with friends in future to tick everything off your bucket list! Not to mention, good service as well from their staff Firaa and Aboo. Need help? They are definitely there! See you again soon!!!
Pros: Everything was perfect from the time of arriving to checking out. The owner Firaq and his family were wonderful, friendly, kind and very helpful. The room/hotel was super clean and comfortable. The garden was clean, perfectly tidy and arranged to create a relaxing atmosphere with beach chair, umbrellas and sunbeds. They have prepared all meals for us, food was excellent. We had different menu every day and fresh juices. Every single day food was delicious!! Water, tea, coffee was available all day. White sand beach and reef very attractive around island. Owner is happy to organize excursions ( picnic island, sand bank, fishing, snorkelling etc.). Prices are reasonable and trips very good! They perfectly organized transfer for us from Male airport to Maalhos by speed boat, so it was very easy to get there for reasonable price. Very good communication via email after we booked this place. They answered straight away for any our questions. We highly recommend the Maclura Residence for a great stay. If once we come back to Maalhos we would like to choose this place again. We really enjoyed our time on this local island. A wonderful place to stay and fabulous host! Big thank you to Firaq, Aboo and all family.
Pros: Service was excellent and kind and meals delicious. Our room was cleal and nice. We got to taste different kinds of Maldivian food and all our wishes were filled. We really recommend this place. We have been in many places in Maldives and this hotel we enjoyd the most.
Pros: The room was very clean, confortable, and Firaaq (Host) is very professional, friendly, ready to reply at all our request. The local food hand made cooked by their family is based on fresh fish, fruits, rice, and coconuts was simply sublime! Maalhos Island is a really maldive island, with smily and friendly local people, paradise beaches, perfect sea, near Hanifaru Bay to snorkel and swim with a lot of mantas.
Cons: Nothing of structure, but in rainy season, in the island are present a lot of mosquito, but Host don't had hesitate to inform me about trick and repeller lotion!

Pros: Everything was very good. Great ownerand great cook. I highly reccomded this place.
Cons: All goos nothing to complain.
Pros: Ahmed the owner is a very kind, friendly and thoughtful man.
Pros: Only 4 rooms - individual approach to guests. Hotel manager John brought service level to the highest level I could imagine
Pros: Johan was a friendly and welcoming host, who was always there to help. The room was basic, but absolutely fine for someone who was there to dive and explore rather than spend time in my room. The Maldivian breakfast was delicious!
Cons: Perhaps lightly quicker and more convenient organising of activities / excursions.
Pros: Nice guesthouse, nice manager John Justine. House reef on island is good.
Pros: Thanks manager Johan for excellent organization our state. I Personal care and attention to details. You can arrange lot of excursions, including fishing in open sea, snorkeling, diving at hotel. Property provide nice cooking, clean rooms, towels and basically everything. Pros: Location and proximity to Hanifaru. They are flexible and very accommodating with regards to visiting Hanifaru for Manta rays.
Cons: Could have been a bit more organize
Pros: I like the overall atmosphere, the helpfulness, the positive attitude of the hotel personnel and the laid-back atmosphere of the beach. Don't miss the reef-fish curry in the restaurant. I'll be back. Stuff made sure you don't leave without seeing Mantas. Liquidsalt divers are very professional and friendly. I loved my stay here. Snorkeling at the house reef is also great.
Cons: No such thing.
Cons: No Wifi
Pros: After dinner we loved to walk to the small harbour to see the fishing ships coming with the catch of the day and to talk with local friendly people
Cons: After dinner we loved to walk to the small harbour; but coming back we were left out for 2 days (we found the hotel closed...) Luckily the diving center is nearby and they helped us...
Pros: Very familiar staff, clean room, nice panelled building. After a few days you could feel being at home, everybody takes care of you, even the General Manager himself . Its kitchen is excellent, you don't want to eat out. The Liquid Salt Water Dive Center's staff is also professional, absolute safety divings, with the best diving boat of the island.
Pros: + Friendly staffs + Clean and comfortable room + Nice food for lunch and dinner + The owner of the guesthouse also owns the dive shop and they fly drone over to Hanifaru Bay to check on a daily basis. Hence, they only inform and bring their guests there when there’s Manta Rays in the Bay. + The owner, Ryshn, and the GM, Ahmed, are very chill and relaxed. + Nice beach and lots of fishes just to see when snorkeling outside the guesthouse

It was our honeymoon in Maldives and we will never forget the times that we spent there. Kiha Beach owner and staff made our holidays unforgettable. Pros: Everything, the staff the facilities everything was good
Cons: Just the mosquitoes were quite annoying while eating
Cons: The beds were not comfortable
Pros: Comfortable room with nice hot shower. The food was delicious. Dolphins and whale sharks passed in front of the beach. Snorkel with a lot of manta rays in Hanifaru bay. Turtles and colorful fish in the house reef;)
Cons: No wifi in the room.
Pros: Beautiful hotel ,next to the beach, with a great view. Big and nice room, very friendly staff. I will go back there, for sure. Interesting meals ,everyday something different.
Cons: No real coffee for breakfast or at the bar. Only instant.
With a stay at Dhonfulhafi Retreat B.Maalhos in Maalhos, you'll be on the beach and close to Nelivaru Finolhu and Dharavandhoo Mosque. Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. A roundtrip airport shuttle is available for a surcharge.
Pros: Amazing landscape. Several great snorkeling/diveing locations around the island. Great location to relax all day.
Pros: We were looking for the true Maldivian experience - local village, local people, fishing the local way, eating local food etc. and that was exactly what we’ve got. Maalos is a small local community on a tiny island in Baa atoll, couple of hrs from Male by speedboat. People of Maalos are very friendly, the sea surrounding the island is stunning and the beaches are beautiful. There is even a small tropical forrest on the eastern side of the island. Guest house was good, with everything we needed for comfortable stay. Haneef, the owner, Aslam, his assistant and ladies from the cafe where we ate all our meals were great - welcoming, helpful and accomodating.
Cons: Nothing that would concern Dhonfulhafi as such, but a general observation. As most of places in Maldives, Maalos has an issue with plastic pollution. The village itself is clean and there is a dedicated waste management team in place, and there is a sensitization campaign going on. But you do see plastic bottles and plastic bags here and there, and even on the beach and in the sea sometimes. In a place like Baa atoll it is especially painful to see.
Pros: We realy enjoyed our four night stay at Dhonfulhafi inn. Rooms and livingroom were confortable. We had free fresh water, food was excelent and Haneef was super. He always ensure we had a good time, met us at the airport, followed us to the ferry and booked flight tickets cheper than it should be if we booked ourselves. Good snorkling at the house reef.
Cons: Privat/ bikini beach was a bit away, but we have to accept the Maldivian culture.
Pros: Haneef and Aslam were very helpful in all that they did. Information from Haneef prior to arriving was excellent. We were the only guests at Dhonfulhafi Inn and so had the whole place to ourselves. The Inn itself is in need of some attention and once the new build, the Beach View and Spa is complete, Haneef will concentrate on the Inn. The bed was good, the shower room was OK, the lounge was comfortable. The kitchen had a kettle, pots and pans and cutlery but no cooking facilities. We purchased coffee, milk and other bits from the local shop. Plenty of drinking water was provided. Eating is at 45 coffee on the beach front. Breakfast was very good, if you like the Maldivian breakfast, I would recommend this. We ate evening meal every other day here and the choice is very limited, it was out of season and we were the only guests, so wasn't expecting too much. The food we had though was very nice and Rasal will make it as spicy as you like.
Cons: The WiFi in the Inn is very very slow. I advise you buy a SIM card for your phone, it will be faster than the WiFi. No TV in the rooms, so if you stay here and have children, you might want to mention this to Haneef.
Pros: Did like hostel a lot. Good boss, In fact amazing that on such an small island, everything is very well managed. Really can recommend this hostel
Pros: Good location close to the beach. Modern and elegant room. Friendly staff. Highly recommend for anyone staying in Dharavandhoo.
Pros: Very personal daily care of whole staff- as we had full board Asima prepared for as great local food and "Brother" fullfill all our wishes. Feeling private and safe and as VIP for whole stay. Facility has very good location with short distance to the beautufill beach. Looking to go back soon.
Pros: The owner as well as guest lady (Sim Simee) were absolutely outstanding and made us feel very much at home. We had almost every day another kind of breakfast and got to try lots of local food (even fruits and nuts growing outside on the island). A highlight was that we were pampered to our anniversary with a wonderful made up bed and flowers as decoration as well as a dinner which consisted of all kinds of local yummy dishes. Since it was the end of Ramadan, we could also enjoy the celebrations in town. Great experience of local community and life in Maldives.
Cons: we were lucky that we were there in low season and had the guest house pretty much for ourselves (the nice courtyard is great for meeting other guests and eating together - it could just be a bit noisy if people stay the night outside and chat but even that is easy solved and other guests went inside the room when we kindly asked them to lower their voices)
When you stay at Kihaa Maldives Island Resort in Kihaadhuffaru Island, you'll be near the bay and 13 minutes by foot from Dharavandhoo Mosque. Featured amenities include a business center, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge during limited hours.
Pros: Nothing worth mentioning.. except the staff member who gave me his laptop to use iTunes..
Cons: The pictures of the facilities are NOT true!! They show you the best, in the best situation in best season and then you get hit by the reality. And they blame the weather for it.. and the solution would be them saying ; we will upgrade you and you will pay! Communication is terrible in English. Phone was not working, had to call them from my mobile with ROAMING TARRIF to order food! They seem to be incapable to solve problems.. No hot water! (Heater was not working) We got the room and there were bugs inside. If it was rainy and heavy storms, they will NOT try to help you by providing you food to your water-villa (which was included in the rate) unless you order and pay! They charge you service fee for everything! Even a spa massage WHICH IS THE SERVICE ITSELF!! The facility is just cheap..NOT IN PRICE! But as quality.. cheap. NOT GOING TO REPEAT. Was a mistake.
Pros: The location is wonderful, diving and snorkeling is incredible, and the diving team is very professional and friendly. The bungalows are very nice and well decorated in a rustic style, we were in a lagoon beach villa and it feels so good to have a shower or a bath looking at the palm trees and the blue sky.
Cons: The transportation to the island is tedious because you need to wait for the next domestic flight and then take a speed boat. We think it could be faster with an hydroplane or at least it would be nice to be received in a lounge to rest after the long international trip. The food is very nice but not "five stars", we would suggest to offer more seafood.
Pros: This paradise is everything it meant to be. It’s a beautiful island everywhere you go you will just find a small slice of paradise. The beach is picture perfect, so many Manta Rays living around and the staff is very friendly.
Cons: Logistics and communications can be confusing at times but the island is too beautiful you will have a great time anyway.
Pros: Island's natural beauty and the beach. It's like a typical Maldivian island, the beauty of nature is not related to the resorts management or service offerings.
Cons: The staff is not well trained, bad customer service, misleading information about domestic travel connection flights, very poor buffet, not worthy of the package you pay. Bad service offerings, no choice of restaurants, no service on the beach, not a 5* facility.
Pros: Beach , sea, swimming pool
Cons: Limited beer and wine, only one beer pp per day :-(
Pros: Paradise island
Cons: I didn’t want to leave!

Pros: Near the airport (5 minutes walk) which made it a perfect to stay over after our late domestic flight from Male. Room was spacious and had A/C. Bathroom clean.
Cons: Staff was not always at the reception desk so make sure you ask all questions when you see them. Also prepare to go with the 'Maldives flow' - if you ask breakfast to be ready at 10am, they will start preparing it around 10.25am after giving a nudge.
