location - design some noise from the children playground near the hotel
The Semeli Hotel is a true find! My husband and I were very impressed with the beauty of the hotel and their outstanding staff. Our hosts were extremely warm, helpful, and efficient. They went out of their way to make us feel at home upon our arrival. We were exhausted from hours of traveling and they told us to take relax and simply take a seat at their gorgeous balcony, which overlooks the sea and town of Manorola as well as terraced balconies of grape vines and lemon trees. They gave us caviar on crackers and delicious white wine while they brought our bags to our room and processed our hotel registration. We felt completely at home and relaxed within moments. We highly recommend this hotel and hope to return some time soon!
good service, very good position booked a double room and anded up in a twin which we weren't happy with, especially when not full.
Even though we were above the pool area, we were still on the ground floor! Walk down the steep hill from main road with cases!
The location is great! It's easy to get the center. Nice room, nice pool, nice breakfast and cool bar.
It is a very charming hotel. We loved our stay there. Although they state that we have free access to wifi internet in the roooms, we rarely were able to connect from the room and had to go to the Lobby in order to use it.
flexible breakfasts 8.0am /12.00, friendly and efficient staff slightly noisy iin the concrete open aur vpassageways outside the romm between 8.00 and 10.30am (when I got up )
The hotel staff members were very hospitable and extremely attentive. The late, full service breakfast was also a great benefit. The internet connection was not strong enough for reception in the room.
This hotel was perfect. The location was amazing the hotel staff was incredibly friendly. It was just perfect. stay here for sure!
The facilities are great. The decoration is beautiful. The breakfast is the best. Very well located. Large rooms. Bathroom is new, comfortable and clean. Not all staff speak good english. Staff not especially friendly.
I liked position of the hotel, stuff atitude, convenient and good kitchen of the barbeque. Very good beach service and gym.
Beautiful rooms, good food, lovely swimming pool and view to the beach but it was expensive so you are paying for the perks - worth it as a treat though, very nice
Mykonos Blu had a quiet, private beach area. The bungalow we stayed in could use a little updating. Rooms looked old.
breakfast staff the hotel is far to expensive. not enough tables on the balcony for breakfast, no full mirror in room, extra bed was a camping bed, price no good value for money!!! (for 800 Euro per night I aexpect something different
The View from our room's balcony is amazing..... The sandy beach is relaxing....
Its a great location with a great view. The beach is very nice. It is a very cool design. The rooms are a bit older but very nice. Its a little expensive but not terrible.
Nice location - the beach is beautiful, Private free beach. Located near the Nammos restaraunt. The design is nice
The rooms are big with a very nice sea view
The location, the Psarou bay and beach particulary where the hotel had its own part, with nice sunbeds that are for free for the hotel guests, that is of much imprtance as beaches are not cheap in Myconos. Very nice beach bar hotel service, guy are very friendly and do their best not to make you wait either for the bottle of water or for food! the hotel is just next to Nammos beach and restaurant that makes it good compilation, for those who want to feel young life beats and mood! Hotel also provides its own transfer services as its of much importance in Mykonos, you can wait the taxi for 30- 40 min especially on friday saturday and sunday nights to go to the town! Southern location of the hotel, helps to avoid strong wind of the island! I think that the rates are a bit overcharged in general. SPA needs improvement in the treatments they offer (was thinking to find a hot wrapping their, but the only option was a lymphatic massage, which was very nice though...Staff is very friendly, always ready to help.....beautiful views from the rooms and big rooms....perfect place for romantic gate away/ weddings or honeymoons! I wish one day to be back with my best part their
breathtaking view, superior breakfast buffet, spacy rooms and good design. Too much humidity in rooms without heating possibillity, service in beach too slow and poor despite all the efforts of the good man (waiter). 50 meters near Nammos beach provides the most luxury service on the very same beach. customers cars should move out of the entrance of the hotel which already shows poor for the rates asked inside. Alex & Jenny from Athens
I stayed at the San Antonio Summerland for a couple days at the end of July '08. The hotel was nice enough and the staff was friendly. Their breakfast was good and the view from the hotel is excellent. The hotel does provide shuttle service to and from the city during the day every two hours. However, if you plan on going to Paradise or any other of the big nightclubs that Mykonos is famous for, do not stay at this hotel. It's true that the hotel is not far from the city, however, it's not easy to walk back to the hotel at night because you have to walk up many steps and through a dark driveway to get back. In addition, the bus stop you need to get to in order to get to the clubs is on the other side of the city. If you're young and you want to party or know you'll be heading out to the beach bars every day, find a hotel close to the bus stop.
San Antonio Summerland is a 4 star hotel located very close to the Town of Mykonos, but also away from all the noise and traffic of the city. Ideally located on the ring road of the island it provides with easy access to all beautiful beaches. Even if you do not have your own car or bike, the hotel provides with regular transport, and the staff is always keen on assisting you. They will pick you up from the airport or port and cater for your travelling need. \n \nThe room amenities are far better for what you pay for, as the rooms are large, clean, fully equipped with AC and TVs, while the double beds are king sized ones with several pillows. The bathrooms are amazingly spacious with all usual amenities expected like a hair drier, shampoo etc. My room provided with bathrobes and was not a suite!! \n \nAs for the rest of the hotel: The pool is large, clean and simply great with a breathtaking view, with its pool bar providing with the music and quality drinks and coffees to start your day right! The restaurant is a typical island restaurant with great Greek specialties, while the breakfast buffet provides with everything one can ask for. \n \nOverall, the hotel is a real gem for the island of Mykonos, and for the price paid for the room it is a real bargain! When other hotels at the same category ask for * euros a night , without breakfast, pool and a game room, the price of San Antonio is real value for money! I would stay there every time I visit Mykonos! \n \nThe people at San Antonio Summerland (the staff, receptionists and owners) are real friendly and make one's stay in their hotel a treat!
very nice setting and view, beautiful design, pleasant staff. Definitely recommended.
Nothing was too much trouble. I requested mint & picher + ice to make pimms...not a problem. Our recharge batteries in camera ran out before end of hol..they gave us two replacement batteries. They 'go the extra mile' Not really, the jacuzzi bath drain was blocked which then flooded the bathroom floor when emptied. I called reception and the cleaner arrived asap to sort.
the location is convenience, close enough to beach and town, busy but not noisy, a perfect balance
The premisses are very cozy, staff is kind and helpfull, wonderful breakfast, there is a parking lot for guests and it is a 5 minutes walk to Orions' beach.
I liked everything about this hotel. The receptionist is very nice. The hotel is very beautiful and comfortable.
Very nice and helpful staff and nice rooms. Beautiful pool-area. I missed that it didn't have the evening sun
Spacious rooms, friendly staff, nice common areas. Weak airconditioning systems - the breakfast room in particular was too hot.
Large apartment for 2 with good kitchen and nice bathroom. Nice pool. For a small beach just go down the stairs. Rent a car when you stay here! No hoteltransfer, taxi from seaport 13 Euro and to airport 15 Euro (on Sunday). Location is in the middle of nowhere, no problem when you want to stay at the pool and eat in the restaurant, but far from town.
Excelent location in Mykonos town, excelent sea-side view Price was ok, but we are on low season. In high season it may be too expensive. TV too small
The location is execellent, I love the view of the room. The swimming pool is nice. Staffs are friendly and did make up our room well. The balcony does not have a lot of privacy as you can see others when sitting out
The hotel was centrallly located and very convenient, the abiance they were trying to create was fair.THe decor was very nice. The staff was pretty helpful and friendly. Granted, I booked it last minute. The price was very high and the hotel really is in great need of an upgrade. The air conditioner did not work well at all. The carpet in the rooms was horrible, the bathroom was clean but not at all up to par. For the price I paid I could have stayed at a five star hotel. Would never go back again and would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Location and "ambiance."
Very nice location in the center of Mykonos Chora, with great sea view. One of the oldest hotels in Mykonos, renovated, but still shows its age. Spacious rooms. It could be a little bit cheaper, otherwise a little bit more luxurious.
Great location in the heart of Mykonos, near the sea with an amazing view and very close to shopping&nightlife area. Friendly staff. It's very expensive but not so luxurious!
The free breakfast and location Overpriced, I had known others that got better deals the same day they arrived.
Great view from the balcony. The delicious freshly baked croissants at breakfast. And the island of Mykonos is rare, it is convenient to the hotel by car able. Hard to carry your luggage to the room because there is no elevator. The latest equipment is not.
A beautiful hotel.. And as it was winter when we stayed it was gorgeous, quiet & empty! No restaurant services during the winter when we stayed.
Stella, Antonia and Needa were excellent and very informative. I would highly recommend staying at their hotel. When I return to Mykonos, I know where I am staying.
The staff, especially Denise and Stella, went out of their way to insure we had a great stay! Great place, very nice people. beautiful views! The bed was too hard for us, but it was a typical European bed.
Excellent view, friendly service and fantastic restaurant Bed could have been better. Two pillows per person is my personal minimum.
The staff were amazing here, so helpful, nothing was too difficult. The food in the restaurant is also fantastic. The view is stunning. Highly recommend staying here.
This hotel is excelllent. It is perched on a hill just above the main part of Mykonos town. It takes 5 - 10 minutes to walk down the hill (via various short cuts), but is a moderately steep climb on the way back. The view is magnificent. The restaurant food at the hotel is very good value. Staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable. The pick-up service from the port is a great start to the holiday. Would love to stay there again. Highly recommended. Everything was perfect, although older tourists might need to be prepared for the climb up from the town. On the other hand, the taxi ride from the town to the hotel only costs 3 euro.
The view is beautiful and reception is very kindly The room is a little bitter small
The staff is amazing. The food is incredible. The hotel itself is beautiful, very well decorated, and has an amazing view.
The staff were very friendly.
The location could not be better! Walking distance from Mykonos Town, but not too close to worry about the noise. The hotel has an amazing view over Mykonos Town. The staff was fantastic and really went out of their way to accommodate us and our needs.
The breakfast was not so good in variety.
Location, staff, pool, breakfast, decor, art, comfortable rooms, wi fi acess,
We loved the location and the facilities. The room we had was bright and cheerful and very spacious in the living area. The view from our room was great! The bathroom was small but functional. The shower closet was confinding. Found it hard to move about.
Incredible staff and impeccably clean
The friendliness and helpful staff. Very welcoming and informative and they could speak English of course.
The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful! The hotel is very beautiful with the pool and garden. It is a bit far from the town, but OK with the shuttle bus service. The shuttle bus could be more frequent.
Hotel was owned by family, and they were bery hospitable. They picked us up from the port, drove us to the city, and to the airport, so though the hotel is bit isolated from the city we didnt feel any inconvenience at all. Rooms are very clean and pretty. They even had little play ground for kids, which excited my little son. They even have breakfast included, though many apartment hotels don't. Very nice for a family stay, highly recommended! Perhaps, too many mosquitos that bit my little son? If only the room windows were kept shut before our arrival, it could have been avoided, so not too much a big deal though.
Very relaxing and comfortable hotel. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast. Some trouble communicating with some of the staff.
Arhontiko Pension is a family orientated hotel, they make you feel welcomed, they go out of their way to make sure you feel comfortable. They have a free shuttle to and from the centre and to the airport. I can't thank them enough for their hospitality. Victor & Angela from Austrlalia. We'll definately be back. Wish it was closer to the beach only, but then again we had a free shuttle there.
We had a woderful experience with this hotel. The staff is very friendly and you feel both their professionalism and the opportunity to share with a very nice greek family. The room was beautiful and clean. Breakfast was very good too. All I have to say about this hotel is that it was my best choice in Greece. Of course I will stay there again If I go back to Mikonos.
The family style hotel is very friendly and all hotel staff are very helpful and friendly. There is also a free shuttle bus service from port/airport to hotel, to and from town to hotel which is very convenient. There are annoyance of mosquito and bugs in hotel rooms.
The hospitality was very, very good
Good value. Clean room. Pool. Quiet. Walking distance from the port plus shuttle service. Breakfast skimped: no fresh juice or creamy yogurt; mediocre coffee.
Staff was so nice and very helpful. Arhontiko pension t was really nice place. I strongly recommend it. nothing
We loved our time at the Golden Star. The staff was great, the view was amazing, and the location (short walk into town) worked well for us. We'll be back!
Friendly staff and a nice little pool. Relatively close to the Mykonos town (although a good 200m steep uphill climb). Whilst Golden Star is not a bad hotel, the claim of a 4 star hotel and the room rate of 145 euros per night are not justified. Furnishing and fixtures are obviously dated. Beds are hard and small. The TV screen is small with the screen size about the same as my laptop.
Good location, nice pool, good view As a 4 star hotel, rooms are old and tired, bathroom terrible
great location close to the town center, spacious free parking, nice view, friendly and helpful personnel needs free wifi internet access
Location was good if you rent a scooter or a quad to go down and back up from town. Pool is nice and chill, staff gives you towel for pool or beach. Breakfast was nice. It's a fair place, clean enough, and very friendly staff. But it's not a newly furnished 4* hotel.
very welcome by staff & great pool
We were being given another room after our recuest because the first one it havent any view at all on the sea the same breakfast bufee every day
We were moved to a beautiful room. Good overall design and pool environment. Great breakfast. Close to the town. Nice staff. First room a bit small (it didnt feel deluxe!) and the terrace wasn't private. A little close to the main road. Not much food on offer except breakfast.
very nice place only minus not on the beach
Great staff, plenty of outdoor lounge areas on the property room set up (not much was in the room, and TV reception wasn't good) bathroom (lighting is motion sensored, so it keeps turning itself off every 30 sec or so)
The confort offered The service from people in reception, not very friendly. And all the drinks inside mini-bar were warm when we arrived at the hotel in the first night. We would have consumed a lot of champagne if it was cool.
Nice and relaxing pool area with very nice staff Internet connection not accessible in all rooms/
gorgeous location, great staff
The staff in General was really nice. They've very helpful. They could know better the best spots to go, such as: restaurants, beaches, things to do. Internet was not working properly in the rooms and the system they use is not practical.
Brilliant pool with wonderful bar! The staff were fantastic. Our room was gorgeous. Not really anything bad to say, but the toilet seat in our room was broken and there was no phone to call reception.
View and Friendly For this level hotel, facilities are very poor and hotel is not clean. Even Off season hotel should pay attention about facilities and cleanness.
Everything was perfect!
The hotel is fantastic, the location is stunning. The staff of the hotel are just great. We were really impressed by the hospitality of the staff and have made our stay memorable.
The Rocabella is beautiful and peaceful, with a magical view and ambiance. As for the staff....They are incredible! They treated us like family which made our stay that much more special.. Wonderful hotel!
Staff availability, service oriented, design of the hotel and the room. Nice pool area (unfortunately windy spot and cold water) .Nice way to welcome clients. Average quality of construction with some technical problems in the room and the bathroom a bit surprising for the price level of the hotel. Restaurant was close because of too few clients ; room service OK but no table availaible in the room.
nice, small hotel, good design, charming pool area with nice bar; friendly and helpful service at the reception; welcome lady did not find our room and would not help me carry my bag, waiters at the breakfast a bit stiff and insecure, rooms have not been cleaned every day, the hotel seems to be asleep; therefore a bit too expensive; in addition we would advise to take a car to get to the beaches and the city - taxis are rare;
I loved the staff, they were amazing and really looked after me.
The hotel was owned by a lovely family who were really nice and helpful. They spoke great english as well.
Staff was friendly. Location wasn't super close to the town, but convenient to the ferry port.
We liked the fact that we were out of town a bit which made you feel like you could relax. The rooms were fantastic and the view was breath taking. The pool and pool bar was a highlight. Had to get a taxis from the port to the hotel on arrival and walk from the hotel to the port on our departure date even though there was a hotel shuttle bus sitting in the drive way.
