Cons: Breakfast could've been tastier.
Pros: Easy access from the ferry, clean and quiet.
Cons: Loud when people opened doors in the hall
Pros: Comfortable and clean.
Cons: The restaurant food was more like McDonald's. It catered more for the area than the guests. Poor if you are from the contenent, there food standards are so much higher.

Pros: The room was lovely, late check in time was very welcome and we were greeted very nicely.
Cons: Ants all over the breakfast table, in the sugar as well. Very slow to serve a mediocre breakfast despite having arranged a 7:30 breakfast due to 9:00 ferry.

Pros: The place had lots of atmosphere, staff where extremeley helpful
Cons: No breakfast menu, so not sure what was available
Pros: I don't know where to start, from the warm welcome at the check-in, to the wonderful time in the pub downstairs (which felt like spending an evening with friends), up to the amazing and very delicious breakfast in the morning - everything was just wonderful and Gemma is the perfect host! I have never felt so welcome and warm like at this place. The room was very cozy and romantic and clean. The breakfast was made with love and the plates were decorated. I wanna return immediately! What a neat and beautiful place to stay and what great people running it!!!! :-)
Pros: Quirky, welcoming venue
Pros: The rooms were lovely, love the wet room in room 5. All in all it was fantastic accommodation - loved it.
Cons: The breakfast was not as good as expected. The main issue was that the bacon was far too hard. I think it was deliberate but none of our group liked it. The sausages had a lot of black pepper in which I enjoyed but not a taste which children usually like so our 4 children left them.
Pros: The breakfast included was awesome!
Pros: Great breakfast, friendly staff, great location
Cons: The double bed was a bit small and the mattress wasn't very comfortable.

Cons: Arghhhhhhhh!!! Paid for top suite - NO FRESH AIR!!! Health and Safety gone mad. All that sea air and not able to open a window. Misery! There MUST be a solution. Ruined my stay. I would not stay in that room again. Would have been better off in a cheaper room.

Cons: The shower in the room that we reserved didn't work so they offered us a room in the basement with no windows and a noisy airco as an alternative. Didn't sleep well. The owner offered us a free breakfast, but their breakfast is kind of scanty. Friendly people, accomodation is not very clean.

Pros: Staff were helpful and the location was as expected

Pros: Beautiful building partly restored, perfectly located
Cons: Restaurant was a bit short staffed.
Pros: The location is perfect for the ferry. All the staff were friendly and helpful, without exception. The hotel is in good order, with a pleasant bar and outdoor area. The room we had was great. Finally, the parking was good, and I was happy leaving my classic car parked overnight.

Pros: Location was good very central to Beach/Town Centre
Cons: Shower curtain grubby, toilet seat stained and old, shower had very low pressure Room had a musty smell, decor is very poor Not worth the money
Pros: Good location for the beach. Staff were friendly and we could park the car before check in time.

Cons: New blue tiles in bathroom but floor and Walls Didnt match
Pros: The parking. The room was what we ordered. The location and ease to get there.

Pros: I like the location with a nice size car park
Cons: There were not enough waiters in the dining room so service was slow
Pros: The Olde English feel to this hotel with the Chesterfield furniture in the Bar and "his Lordship's Library" really make it quite a special place to visit, giving a real feel of life in the upper echelons from years gone by. The food in the restaurant was exceptional!!

Cons: Decor, bathroom, windows ( most wouldn’t open£
Pros: Great location, ideal for the beach and shops. Breakfast great value, I loved the selection of fresh fruit, cereals and pasteries.
Cons: They couldn't make up their minds on whether to give you a pot of tea or just give you a cup were you had to keep asking them to fill it up. Please give a pot of tea it makes the breakfast.
Pros: The location parking. Apart from room being up 2 steep flights of stairs with no lift. The room was in the roof abit stuffy but had a fan clean nice bathroom. I wad told there was no other rooms on arrival. They did offer me a ground floor agter s while. but after getting my things to the top was to tired to relocate after journey. The breakfast was nicely cooked but no side plates for toast. Or any sauce if u had wanted it.The Reception was not always manned especially if u ehete up at 7.am 0 but u could call zero on the phone for response. Staff helpful.
Cons: I booked an executive suite and the room we were given was not a suite therefor I was very unhappy the Manager was next to useless and asked if we would like to move to another hotel,as it was 5.30 pm we declined. We have visited this hotel 5 times previously and have always booked the suite and received the correct room, therefore we will never return to this hotel or our friends as we normally book 3/4 rooms at a time, there are plenty more hotels in Felixstowe and they will be now receiving our bookings as we love the little town.
Cons: Bar snacks very poor
Pros: Shower looked very nice
Cons: No lift to rooms, carpet very very dirty, l worked in a nursing home and came for a holiday. Unfortunately It was worst than my work place. Carpet very disgusting and dirty.
Pros: Close proximity to the beach
Cons: The room where you put all your old furniture. It was also very dark. Pillows on bed were not the best - Didn’t help when the alarm clock went off at 3.15 in the morning. Have stayed at this hotel before ( not this room ) and next week promised it won’t be room ( 204 ) !
Pros: Excellent breakfast, friendly cooperative stafff,
Cons: Dated rooms, smell of damp, food wasn't good, no shampoo etc in room, no aircon. Dirty carpets
Pros: The welcome on our arrival was good. The room was excellent. The bathroom was palatial. No lift to our annex of the hotel might be a problem for some.
Cons: Breakfast was rather disorganised. The food was fine. But there were issues on service. Only one person was initially on duty and was finding it difficult to cope with a reasonably busy room. Eventually someone else turned up and service was better. The supply of food to the buffet, toast, coffee, bowls and glasses was a problem. Understaffing was the issue. One person could not deal with customers and monitor the supply issues mentioned above.

Cons: Unfortunately there was no chef available so we couldn't eat at the pub.

Pros: The bathroom was nice Location right near the ferry ⛴
Cons: The door wouldn't lock. The TV didn't work. I couldn't pay the way I wanted
Cons: Not very family friendly. Wrote 2 times and called multiple times to set up an extra cot for the baby and didn’t get any response from the staff.
Pros: nothing, it didn't look like the advert
Cons: breakfast was just nasty, It was a random pile of plates on the bar top and I couldn't tell what was clean, was was dirty and what was partially eaten by a previous breakfast guest. Also, dodge room 15 as the chillers bang on the wall ALL blinking night long. And despite the adverts saying so, there was NO real ales on tap
Pros: Very clean and modern room and shared bathroom, parking on the street outside, supermarket not far away and the Ferry terminal around the corner.
Cons: The breakfast area was very crowded and disorganised, needs to be sorted out.
