Overview Reviews
Located in Cesiomaggiore, Alla Casetta is a 5-minute drive from Toni Bevilacqua Bicycle Museum and 6 minutes from Ethnographic Museum of the Province of Belluno. Free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Christiano was an amazing host, the loacation was outstanding and the home made brekfast with Jams, bread, and coffee was best we’ve had in Italy.. we arrived late and Christiano was totally welcoming and accommodating, couldn’t recommend this place more.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic place for those who like to be in nature surrounded by the green of the forest and the sound of the nearby creek. Christian makes you feel at home from minute one and always gives valuable advice on nearby places to visit and trips to walk in the marvellous Dolomiti!
Cons: Be careful with the access by car! Arrive in daylight! The last 300m have a steep down slope in a narrow road. Follow the wooden signs "Alla Casetta" once the gps thinks you are already there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: If we could give Alla Casetta a rating of 11, we would. Our family of five stayed in the bed and breakfast for five days, and we loved every minute. Simply put, staying at Alla Casetta was a joy. The host is brilliant, the location is awe-inspiring, the service is excellent, and the overall experience was fantastic. The host sets this place apart from nearly any other place we’ve ever stayed (and we have traveled in almost 40 different countries). Christian is warm, generous, funny, and an excellent communicator. We had a late flight into Treviso, and he was completely happy to guide us to his place late at night. We quickly discovered that he is also one of the most knowledgeable people ever when it comes to the Dolomites. He knows trails, canyons, creeks, streams, cable cars, river rafting expeditions, and rifugios. He knows the Cortina terrain, the Trentino Alto-Adige terrain, the pre-Alps, the Prosecco Road, local towns, restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Importantly, he is able to adapt his advice for hard-core hikers/mountaineers (like a couple that were there the same time we were) and mountain lovers with young children (like us) We hiked for four days, and Christian gave us impeccable advice for each day. Christian was also a wonderful resource when it came to history and culture - which made our Dolomiti exploring a far richer experience. The bed and breakfast itself was outstanding. The house was spacious, clean, and well-lighted. The shower was fantastic (this is a must for families who spend all day outdoors). Books and maps are everywhere, and are readily accessible. Breakfasts were delicious and filling. Christian also taught us how to make Italian moka-style coffee (highly recommended) and instructed me in the dark arts of Northern Italian pizza-making (which was more entertaining than anything I’ve learned from just about anywhere). The house also sits next to a clear mountain stream that is like something from a nature lover’s dream.

Pros: Host was absolutely delightful and did all she could to make us feel at home, welcome and comfortable!
Cons: Street noise isn’t ideal if in front bedroom, and bedframe was a bit flimsy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We felt like guests in a lovely home with garden
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Villa Tina is gem of a B&B, slightly hidden entrance, just a non descript door on the street but once inside you are back in an age of tranquillity and history. Peaceful and secluded, a bit of a haven. Danielle runs the Hotel with her husband, very welcoming and helpful. Car parking is in a secure lot across the street. You are only 100 metres from the centre of Feltre. If you are cycling there is safe lockup for bikes. Really enjoyed our two nights, plenty of places to visit nearby.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms with on-suite were decorated in Italian period furniture to match the overall decor. Breakfast in the garden was amazing. A restaurant 2 doors away is one of the best in Feltre. The host was very hospitable and arranged parking across the street in a secure parking area.
Cons: no elevator to the 1st floor, however the age of the building didn't allow modification. The advertised picture of the premises was taken from the rear garden and may confuse people trying to find the premises from the street.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, the house has a lot of character and charm, the landlords are extremely friendly and kind, breakfast is excellent.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Daniella was a warm hostess. An old building with a historical feeling. Near the historic center of Feltre. Weather was miserable, but there is a good restaurant almost next door. Make time to drive to nearby Sanctuary.
Cons: The weather
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Property was excellent as well as the property manager. We sat outside in the evening in the outside garden. Lovely experience.

Cons: The bathroom

The Feltre Train Station is 1.5 km away.
6.8 Good
Pros: Not that much -the host was welcoming and helpful, the location was convenient and the view from our terrace was nice. On the second day we were there, some roses from the garden were put in our room.
Cons: The room size was considerably smaller than advertised (apparently it included the outdoor terrace) and some of the internal floorspace was unusable as it was under a metre high roof void. Breakfast was poor - there were some basics - grissini, jam, tea, coffee, fruit juice and after a couple of days, fresh fruit in the cellar (where there was not even a refrigerator to keep yoghurt or fresh milk). The other option was to walk about 250m down the street where one could have a coffee or tea and a sweet pastry. Given it rained every day we were there, that was not an attractive option. The shower in the bathroom was a tiny cubicle of the type used on cruise ships with scarcely enough room to wash or bend over. It took up to 8 minutes for the shower to warm up. There was only one small hook in the bathroom to hang towels. The minibar consisted of a corkscrew in a refrigerator in our room. This was our most expensive stay in a month-long trip in Italy and the most disappointing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The ambience of the location coupled with the excellent physical facilities of the rooms made for a perfect place to call “our home away from home”. The furnishings were superb, but the most outstanding attribute but our host, Greta, went way beyond expectations by tending to all our needs. My mind will always remember Via Paradiso 32 with great fondness and a desire to return often.
Cons: Nothing could have been better.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The house/apartment has beautiful surfaces. Fine materials and design were used throughout the apartment and house. Beautiful. It was in the historic center of Feltre, which is a huge benefit especially for walking in the evening. The owner is incredible! She responded to inquiries immediately, offered advice and even phoned a taxi! I highly recommend this property.
Cons: I make two suggestions: More comfortable seating for evening hours and a solution to the water from the gorgeous stone shower spilling out onto the floor. (I tried everything to resolve the latter issue while taking a shower, but to no avail.)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautifully designed and furnished, very reasonable price.
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The apartment was spotless, well cared for, perfect location close to the center of Feltre and the owner/ manager of the unit met me personally and was super professional. Aboveall, the balcony was amazing, situated next to a small church with almost 360 degree views of the surrounding mountains.
Cons: Nothing.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice place!
Cons: The breakfast room was very special in the basement!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Amazing service. Eclectic room. Cute little town.
Cons: Nothing

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is well located on the edge of the historic part of Feltre. The staff were professional and solicitous. Breakfast was good. Yes the cofee was up to European standard only but Australia had to end up a good at something and bizarrely it ended up as coffee.
Cons: I needed more time there.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: confortable bed - nice duvet - good shower - nice view of mountains
7.0 Good
Pros: It’s quite modern, clean and centrally location. Breakfast basic but sufficient.
Cons: I had a top floor room with a roof window and no curtains, almost impossible to sleep past sun rise. Choice of local restaurants abysmal, many closed for holidays, plenty of cafe bars however if you want a cake or ice cream. No electricity in the room unless you’re inside. Big problem for the fridge its July and everything inside is hot!
7.5 Good
Pros: The hotel is close to the train station and the town center.
Cons: I needed to check out around 9am, and there’s no one at the counter. Ihad to wait for 10 minutes for the staff to show up.
10.0 Excellent

Cons: everything was fine ...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Had a fantastic week's stay here. Carla is absolutely lovely and couldn't do enough for us. Every morning she offers a huge breakfast with lots of home-cooked fare - her bread is some of the best I've tasted. The kitchen is available for use of guests and is well-equipped so you can easily make yourselves a simple meal if you are not eating out. As we were the only guests for much of the time we had this all to ourselves. It is a short stroll to Tomo (but no bars or restaurants there) or a mile or so walk downhill into Feltre. We tended to walk in and get a cab back (uphill and hot!) - local cabs are a little pricey by UK standards but do-able. Thoroughly recommend this place!

Pros: Winderful owners who were very friendly. Nice room with terrace and god breakfast in very quiet location -easy parking and not too hard to find by car.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Anna and her husband were very welcoming. We loved our stay in the country and within easy location to Tomo and Feltre where we wanted to be. Highly recommend the property and thank you also for superb breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts were VERY accommodating and the house is beautiful, next to an ecological centre, in a quiet village. When we suggested that we would like to invite friends over, they even cooked us starter and pizza, for free!
Cons: I would suggest a small fold out bed for the double bed room, in case there are non partners sharing this lovely house.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked that it was run by people who loved what they were doing and the natural environment they lived in, alongside the River Piave. They were artists and that came across in the decor, works of art, etc, around the house. They even went to the trouble to put me in touch with a local resident who has an interest in genealogy - and we found out that our great great grandfathers were first cousins. Not the place to go to if you're looking for city buzz. Found excellent, and ridiculously cheap for the quality, restaurant at San Fermo, about 10 minutes drive along an 'interesting' road! The house red at that restaurant, €6 for 1/2 litre, was exquisite!
