Cons: The restaurant and ice bar were closed during our stay
Pros: The room was great. 2bedrooms a living room, dining room, kitchen, 2 bathrooms, a private balcony and a fireplace. The location is just outside of town at the base of s ski hill. This was a very comfortable space. It even had covered parking. We would definitely come here again.
Cons: When they cleaned our room the left the door open and we found it when got back in the evening.
With ski-in/ski-out access, Lizard Creek Lodge allows you more time for downhill skiing, snowboarding, and cross-country skiing. Guests can grab a bite to eat at the restaurant, or indulge in deep-tissue massages, aromatherapy, or mani/pedis. An outdoor pool and a bar/lounge are other highlights, and rooms feature fireplaces and kitchens. Ski passes, storage, and rentals are also available.
Pros: Friendly staff, good breakfast, clean and spacious guest rooms, swimming pool, nice lobby, good water pressure in the shower.
Cons: Passing trains blow their whistles 2 to 6 times a night and will wake you up. Water sprinkler in the lawn needs to be adjusted so it doesn't water the cars parked in the parking lot.
Pros: Easy check-in - staff moved us to another room with less traffic (elevator) and a better view of the mountains, which was unexpected and very appreciated. The breakfast in the a.m. Was well appointed for almost everyone's taste.
Pros: Rooms where excellent
Pros: Clean and quiet
Pros: Attention to detail, very well done
Cons: Queen bed room with no desk?
Pros: Everything. Best hotel of my trip. Pool and hot tub were great. Breakfast was sumptuous. Beautiful surroundings.
Cons: Not a thing.
Pros: The free breakfast. Amazing banana pancakes.
Cons: Kids would have liked a waterslide.
Pros: We loved the outdoor hot tub and the fantastic breakfast. The best part of our stay would have to be the friendly staff. Our son was happy that BPs was soo close. :-). Thank you
Cons: It's hard to think of anything but because we were skiing I would have to say that it was on the opposite end of town. However, the fact that there was a shuttle to the hill made it easy for some of us to go earlier and some others came later.
Pros: Clean, spacious, fireplace! Good breakfast. Close to the ski hill.
Pros: Great operation.
Cons: Breakfast on weekdays ends at 9 AM. Being on vacation, 10 AM would be advisable, or the same as for the weekends.
Pros: elevator security required room card to activate. Separate TV room with couch a nice touch. Pillow were feather type, much better than those cheap foam pillow that the last Best Western motel had in Invermere, BC.
Cons: waffles were really sub-par. I prefer the make your own using special waffle maker appliance.

Pros: We were thrilled with The Red Tree Lodge- from the moment we opened the door, to the check-in process, to the room, to check out, we were treated to some true northern hospitality. The staff made sure we were informed about the area, made suggestions for dining, & this place even has a movie theater room! Perfect lodge for all seasons of travel.
Pros: Perfect location to use the bike crusiers that they have free for use. The other in-house amenities were awesome and we used them all. Beds were super comfy!
Pros: Staff was great. Room was clean. Microwave/fridge/TV/ & AC all worked fine. Comfortable bed. Light breakfast was decent enough.
Cons: Doors to hotel lock at 11pm (?). Needing the front desk attendant to let me in from a walk around town just seemed a tad dorm-like.
Pros: Room was very clean. We were offered an up grade because the hotel was not busy. Good restaurants within walking distance. Very quiet room. Muffins and coffee were available in the morning.
Cons: No elevator meant carrying luggage up stairs. It had amnesties that were great for back packers and young skiers. Not a bad thing. Just a different feel.

Pros: Beds, hot tub and pool, staff, size of room.
Cons: Pool and hot tub, located inside the hotel and next to the rooms, makes for a noisy environment.
Pros: Nice, basic rooms. The hottub is very hot. The pool is refreshing and over 7 feet deep. Staff was friendly and there are free ski lockers to store your skis. Close to downtown and close to Fernie Ski Resort.
Cons: Breakfast at the restaurant was quite slow, decent food though.

Pros: Outdoor hot tub and beautiful wood architecture
Cons: The room temperature was difficult to control and caused us to wake up cold or hot before we finally learned how to find a medium
Pros: I liked that it was in the mountains.
Cons: This establishment is looking very aged and already has many things in need of repair.
Pros: Nice place, glad to have Indian food on site, but mainly we LOVED the pool and waterslide. Staff was friendly and helpful too. The room was fine.
Cons: They removed the game room, which I had thought we would use because the weather was poor. I can't remember where i found out about it. If it was in an old review closing it is no problem. If listed on their site, they should remove it.
Pros: The whole 'look' was first class resort. Very friendly staff. The Elk River was just a few feet off our balcony - great view. Close to town and restaurants.
Cons: The cost of drinks in the bar was 'gouging.'
Water side and outdoor hot tub were amazing!
Pros: Friendly staff, nice amenities and the beds were super comfy!
Cons: Sad we missed the breakfast!
Pros: Comfortable room, good value. Continental breakfast included. Indian meal was very nice but beware medium curry is very hot.
Cons: could not walk into town. Restaurant will now be closed until December for refurbishment
Pros: Pleasant Staff. Excellent quality food. Sound of the babbling river in room. Excellent toiletries and towels much larger than most hotels. Bottle opener in room. Real mugs for coffee instead of the usual paper.
Cons: nothing to dislike. After 10 days on the road, this was the gem.
Pros: Good internal restaurant and bar. Also pet friendly with no additional pet fee..
Cons: We were in the off season so it was just a continental breakfast which is understandable. Very scenic but a little drive to downtown if you are not a skier.
Pros: Food and service is excellent
Cons: I think if they added duvets and nicer bedspreads it would up their star rating! Just needs a person with an eye for decor.
Pros: Nice clean hotel. Good value. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Pros: Breakfast was nice and the location in regards to the mountain was good.
Cons: Our door was hard to open and there were nocisy people outside our door early in the morning. We were in close proximity to the front checkout.
Fernie Stanford Resort is a great choice for a stay in Fernie. The indoor pool is a great spot for a morning swim, and guests can get a workout in at the fitness center. A spa tub and a sauna are offered, and rooms have conveniences like refrigerators and microwaves.
Pros: Good price point. Décor needs updating urgently!
Cons: We were in an accessible room. I wondered how a person with a wheelchair would manage a suitcase ( other than throwing it on the bed). I also always wonder why hotels don't invest in a few more hooks in the bathroom so wet towels can dry out. Also, this is Canada, and rain and snow are part of our experience, so how about a shoe rack and a place just inside the door for raincoats and jackets so they are not hung with other clothes.

Cons: I gave this hotel a great rating a year ago. Great room by the office , bed awesome huge room. THIS TIME PUT IN A BUILDING BEHIND HOTEL, worst springy hard bed ever, stunk, stains on floor, small bathroom. Fridge noise all night. Not coming back.
Pros: Convenient, easy to find location.
Pros: We ski in Fernie on a regular basis and so we know the area well. We knew when we booked the Three Sisters that it was only a 2 star hotel. However, it met our expectations, and was more than adequate for our needs - clean, comfortable, friendly staff.
Pros: The rooms were very large, two perfectly spotless queen beds that were comfortable. Great location. Excellent parking. Very nice lady at front desk. Quick check in. Not the normal bleach smell either of some hotels. It was a very nice fragrance.
Cons: Bathroom small but ok. Should be noted sink are etc there is a ton of space. This is just referring to shower area.
