10.0 Excellent
Pros: The host was very friendly and helpful. The room was great, equipped with refrigerator, microwave and other appliances, also with free coffee and tea. Very clean and amazing location. Would highly recommend!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: We spent one night here but would love to have stayed longer had time allowed. Our host was very friendly and when I had to cancel our second (non-refundable) night at late notice he even re-opened the room for booking in case someone else booked & we could get some money back. It’s good to have facilities such as kettle/microwave in your room, the bathroom is generous and the beds were very comfortable. An easy walk to town even on a chilly evening!
Cons: A little steeper in price than other places, but would not stop me from booking again
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Gentle Space is exactly as its name says. An oasis of peace and comfort. Everything is extremely clean and neat. The rooms are provided with a fridge, a boiler and coffie maker, tea and coffie. Isafjordur is a small place, and Gentle Space is a two steps away from the centre. The guests are splendid and very friendly. I recommend to everybody.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The host was absolutely brilliant, showed us everything we needed to know. It was 5 minute walk to bars and town which was an added bonus!
Cons: We are being picky, but there were no cooking facilities from what we could see. We were sorted as we were eating out in isafjordur, but it might be worth considering
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner was friendly and welcoming. He gave excellent recommendations for things to see and places to eat.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: When they said there was no excess to kitchen, I was a little worried about how to make tea or coffee. And it turned out that I could make in my room! Definitely well equipped rooms for a guesthouse. Isafjörður after raining was really beautiful.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: location, the owner was really nice and told us good things to do in town.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This turned out to be a room in a house at Hlidarvegur 14 (specifically stated as 'not Gentle Space'). Maybe this is a sort of overspill guesthouse? Welcome from house owner was efficient. Bedroom was spacious and comfortable with double bed, sofa, microwave and kettle etc. Bathroom was luxurious! Could not have been better.
6.8 Good
Pros: Quiet location.
Cons: Limited cooking facilities (just microwave).
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The place is so quiet, clean, organized and comfortable. Best is the room is fully equipped with everything you need : wardrobe, microwave, electric kettle, coffee/tea, fridge. The kitchenette is just outside of the room. The shared bathroom is big and with heated floor, only issue was there was no hot water for the basin.
Cons: There's no hot water for both the basins. There is some errors in the Google maps or GPS location, making it difficult to locate. Will need to pay attention to the door number.

Pros: Beautiful farmhouse located just off the main road. Super clean, amazing bed and comfy towels and linens. Great breakfast! Highly recommend staying if you’re in the area. It’s worth a drive up here just to see the West Fjords and to have dinner at Tjöruhusid (20 min drive).
7.5 Good
Pros: Easy check in. Nice views. Hot water.
Cons: More of a motel than hotel
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The gorgeous scenery is right out your window. We had the house to ourselves for most of the stay, which was odd because it's such a great value and centrally located. Breakfast in the morning was plentiful and our hostess was very kind.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: the person
Cons: nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The best stay in West Fjords i ever been. The house is more than a guesthouse, you have all the informations about West Fjords (really ALL THE INFORMATIONS, i come in westfjords every years since 2013, i have visited every place/valley/restaurants ecc...), so many beautiful details to provide to a tourist all he need to know. You can feel the personal touch of the host in all you can see inside and outside the house. Great breakfast, that changes every morning with fresh homemade food. My room was cozy and clean. The position of the guesthouse is also strategical, in the middle of north westfjords, the best solution to explore this area not like a common tourist.
Cons: nothing to say
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A Clean, comfortable, friendly B&B with beautiful landscapes. We have a wonderful stay. Thank you.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I had a very comfortable room with private services. They have a couple of rooms with shared services as well. Everything was spotless clean. Location was awesome, very quiet with quite a nice view 15-20’ from Isafjordur. They have horses, too. The common space is very nice, cozy and enjoyable. You are welcome to cook your own food or to indulge in some tea or coffee (they have an espresso machine). Best breakfast of the entire trip, with fresh made waffles, whipped cream and fresh fruit along with other more common food. Will be there again.
Cons: The bathroom was quite small.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great room and kitchen
Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: It was wonderful to experience the silence and peacefulness of this place. “Far from the madding crowd”! And than there was Gudrún, our hostess, who was very welcoming and sweet and made all the difference
Cons: Nothing

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice and friendly place.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was lovely. Breakfast was a fantastic assortment of goods. The array of activities available was impressive. The remote location surrounded by the breathtaking mountains, stream, flowers, etc. made it an outstanding find!!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful hotel in a remote location, perfect to unwind and relax. There is a nice hot tub and a swimming pool. We had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant and both were great. There are horses and two cute dogs wondering around the property. We really enjoyed our time there.
Cons: Nothing, everything was perfect
7.0 Good
Pros: Beautiful landscape
Cons: The hotel grounds could do with a little maintenance. It all looks a little messy and half abandoned.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The bed was extra comfy and the food was great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is dreamy, amazing place. The staff is always lovely. Rooms are really clean. Great stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything just perfect
Cons: I liked everything!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All the different facilities available
Cons: Some of the pathways between things could do with a little maintenance but this is a tiny thing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is wonderful and I can recommend everyone to come here. I've stayed here on multiple occasions and never been disappointed. The food is local and great, rooms cozy and as promised, clean comfortable and low-key. There is an arctic fox lurking around which is an amazing bonus when you get to see it. Many hot pools and natural pools which are wonderful for both adults and children.
Cons: Only recommendation is that the pillows get an upgrade, I'm a little princess when it comes to pillows, and soft feathery pillows are pretty important to me. Otherwise, wouldn't change a thing!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: It was an amazing place, nothing around you, just you and the beauty of the nature. clean and nice rooms, hot pots, they even have a swimming pool in the green house. Perfect place to relax, really friendly and kind staff :)
Cons: The road to the Heydalur was gravel, but not too bad. Also be prepared, that you are in the middle of nowhere, so buy everything what you need in advance. Breakfast is not included, you have to pay for that, which seems to me pretty expensive, but on the other hand, breakfast was really amazing and the variety of food is awesome - homemade bread, different kind of meat and a lot of more.

Pros: Good value. Cheap small room in a good location. Good kitchen space and living room.
Cons: Kitchen could have more pots, frying pans and chopping boards. No chest of drawers or anything similar in a room

Pros: It is clean, located in a very beautiful town , very quiet and picturesque. The facilities are excellent. The owner is really nice and friendly. Everything was really clean and the property was very spacious...
Cons: Nothing I didn’t like
7.0 Good
Pros: Good and comfortable kitchen and public space. Big restroom with a big bath tub.
Cons: Small double room. We received a letter and enter the hotel all by ourselves, never met any staff.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Facilities were great Self check-in anytime Fiords were close by
9.3 Excellent
Pros: WE loved this place - we arriced pretty late after extensive travel day aroun WEstern Fjords. WE found this 3 rooms accomodation fully available just for us - we were 7 and it was nice noone else was there. Really spatious, with big sitting area. Spatious well equipped kitchen, own parking lot. Flateri is a nice little village with quite a bit of a history - visit the oldest Icelandic book store for example - I bought there a book with funny stories from local live wich provided me with quite some insight into the local culture.
Cons: A bit too expensive - as everything in Iceland, but ok. Also - sleeping rooms had glass doors - not sure how well do they isolate the noise - in our case it was easy as we occupied the whole place, in case if different guests with different schedules are there - may be a bit more of an issue.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hostel is located in a small town in a somewhat remote part of the Westfjords - so in other words peace and quiet is in abundance. The whole place is quite big and from what I understand is separated in to two larger areas, each containing a couple of rooms, 1 or 2 bathrooms, a kitchen and a common room with a dinning table. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and other usefull items. The bathroom is clean and spacious.
Cons: The room we slept in was very small. We had trouble oppening our one large bag because there wasn't much room.

Pros: Great hostel in a beautiful area. Located near some picturesque walking trails. The owner, Pall, made the stay even better. He helped me pick some good places to check out in the westfjords and helped me plan my route. He also was nice enough to share the history of the house and his family. It really makes the stay more authentic. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. I hope to be back!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly family run hostel. Higly recommended!
Cons: Just nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a fantastic stay. This Hostel is open only for summers and the hosts were a delight. They gave us a lot of small tips and recommendations for our onward journey. The facilities were very good and very well maintained.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Korpurdalur hostel is situated in one of the most beautiful valleys in all of Iceland! It is very green and secluded and there are several beautiful hiking trails that will keep you busy for a few days. The owner is super kind and helpful, we had a problem with our rental car and he called the company for us! The house is very cute and historical, as it used to be an old farm. Therefore the rooms are also very small but that only enhanced the atmosphere. Bathroom and kitchen are shared but that‘s totally fine and the kitchen is big and well equiped with a whole fridge just for the guests.
Cons: The breakfast was fine, the eggs and marmelade were nice but looking back I would have done it myself.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything - Páll the owner was brilliant, giving tips, chat and coffee. It felt like coming home every time I walked in the door.

7.5 Good
Pros: Clean rooms. Pretty location. Excellent staff and owner.
Cons: Bathrooms. Shower stall too small and close to toilet. Should be cleaner too.
7.5 Good
Pros: All clean Nice area
Cons: The heating was not working properly the day we arrived. Heaters were cold in the room even after a while. The staff kindly moved us to another room with floor heating, which was supposed to work. The floor warmed up only in the bathroom... but it was too late to fix anything. The property is a bit isolated (the whole region is sparsely populated). You need to drive a few km to find a place to eat in the evening and there is little choice. When we arrived the closest place was closed, the place in Flateyri was fully booked and we needed to drive 20 mins to Isafjordur to find something.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location first class❤️ clean and comfy rooms, good breakfast
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent

Pros: Meeting other travellers for sharing informations.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Well located in Sudavik. Everything was clean and quiet. Close to Isafjordur, and cheaper than staying there.
Cons: Kitchen seemed small for the number of people staying, probably because it was two groups, maybe not as much of an issue if just couples.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Fully equipped shared kitchen. Self check-in made late arrival possible. We checked-in at 3am.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Easy, fast and flexible checkin / checkout. Contact person was responsive and gave fast replies.
Cons: Missing the curtain to block the light from outside. In this period its never dark it was difficult to sleep in daylight. Wifi strength could be improved. Bathroom bit outdated - renovation recomended.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property was beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. Above all else though the knowledge from the host was amazing- some great tips meant we found lovely ice cream, a hidden hike and saw a whale on our journey! Thank you!
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner a very friendly chap, full of information.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable, and clean. Nice and large room. The host is very friendly and will give you nice advice about your tour in the western fjords.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I liked the fact that they left us a cute little note on our bedroom door! Very thoughtful :) It's a perfect house to spend a few days with your friends I guess, since they have big kitchen.
Cons: We were only there for a night, so nothing I can really think of...

Pros: Comfy beds, full service kitchen, nice bathroom, large rooms with space
Cons: Booked a "family room" but site only allows 3 people per room but this room sleeps 6 when we arrived we had 5 people so owner charged additional $40 for nothing just for extra people even though the space was available - very frustrating for a "budget" place

8.3 Excellent
Pros: its ok, there are not many option at the end of the wprld :)

Pros: The room is modern and cosy but the shower is to small
Cons: The elevator is bad and tiny
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room and hotel was very clean. I slept well and was thankful it was so quiet! Stunning views and wonderful meals at the hotel restaurant. Happy with the free breakfast and location was great. I'd recommend in a heartbeat. My last day there, my flight was canceled and Steven (an employee) actually was kind enough to bring me with him to Reykjavik so I could catch my flight.
Cons: I would have rented a car if I knew how isolated it was and I wish I would have looked up the hours of things because so many museums and places close as of Sept 15. Other than that, nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious hotel room. Comfortable beds and pillows. Quiet. Very happy
Cons: 3 hotels by same name in town was on arrival a little confusing. Should be pointed out as such.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very nice and the room was clean and comfortable.
Cons: The room was very hot and stuffy and it was pretty cool outside. The only window opened a crack, so there was limited air flow. It would have helped if there was a fan.
6.8 Good
Pros: very central clean
Cons: staff not so attentive or welcoming. room was not large. double bed was actually 2x singles was expensive for what it was. breakfast was average at best, and the coffee was terrible.
7.5 Good
Pros: The central position and the style of the hotel
7.5 Good
Cons: Bathroom ventilation was poor
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good location in town. Everything can easily be walked to from the hotel.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location of the hotel is very good, in the central part of town. The beds were very comfortable. The staff at the very reception were very useful providing directions for the Westfjords.
Cons: The breakfast was very basic and the bathroom floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a few weeks...
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was great as it was just a few minutes walk away from the office for our tour company. There are local restaurants pretty close by as well. The room was clean and has blackout curtains since it doesn't get dark really in July when we visited. We enjoyed the breakfast.
Cons: The only part I didn't like is that the parking was a little confusing. There is a parking lot next to the hotel, which seems to fill up quickly and doesn't appear to be dedicated to the hotel. We found a spot, but I'm not sure where else we would have parked if we didn't get a spot.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Self Check in and check out, which was great because I had a long drive from the westfjords and could explore more on the way without having to worry if there would be someone at the reception. Good, clean room with nice view of the nearby park. The location was great, just a 20min walk from the center and very quiet during night and day.
6.8 Good
Pros: Only three rooms were booked when we stayed so they upgraded our room to have private bath.
Cons: Only thing on the restaurant menu was pizza or fish stew.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel Very kind staff Good food Not to expensive
Cons: Nothing to do in that village
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was as we had hoped for. Clean, comfortable and good location. The village is nice, and the craft shop just across the street is especially worth a visit.
7.0 Good
Pros: Great breakfast buffet with lots of choices. Restaurant in the hotel was really good, but the three selected dishes per night only last as long as available. So make sure you go there early if you want to ensure a flexibility of choice.
Cons: Staff was a bit slow, my wife said it´s probably the Icelandic way of working. Still, if you are left alone standing waiting to be seated and constantly being ignored by the staff is not nice. Some guest just went to the table, those have been ignored as well as you had to order at the reception - nobody knew since there was no sign. Two tables left while we´ve been there due to the service staff.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Love the rooms here. They're large with huge windows, very bright and clean. There are a few large common areas. WiFi works quite well here. Breakfast is a large buffet spread.

Pros: Very kindly we were upgraded to an en-suite room, which was very welcome. The café associated with the hotel was pleasant and good value.
Cons: No view from the room - just across the street to the café. hardly a big problem though!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It's very good location and great breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Icelandic fjords are magical and Fisherman is no less! The rooms are large and clean and both private and shared bathrooms are perfect. The Bar offers delicious local snacks and beers. The restaurant also offers good typical dishes such as salmon and cod fish. Everything really amazing!!!
Cons: No kitchenette for the rooms
10.0 Excellent
Pros: For the summer of 2019, the Fisherman Hotel is providing a special offer for all hotel guests to experience their Seafood Trail tour for free (normally 5,000 ISK a person). I highly recommend that everyone take advantage of this offer! We were the only ones that took advantage of this on the day that we were there even though there were many hotel guests, and effectively had a private tour for the two of us. The tour was led by the owner of the Fisherman brand (hotel, restaurants, and food products) and he told us about the history of Sudureyri, showed us the fishing boats and processing plants, and cooked us up a fresh and tasty batch of fish stew. Amazing tour that I would gladly pay for, but it was even better because it was complementary! The room itself was also clean and comfortable. We booked a room with a shared bathroom, but the room had a private sink which was so nice to have. 100% would recommend.
Cons: Nothing!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good beds, very friendly staff and a good breakfast!!
Cons: The shower was very small, though the bathroom was very large and the room was a bit sober... They could make it a lot more cosy like the bar and the restaurant.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The restaurant is amazing!

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Interiors as in an old harbour house. Big and spacious and tidy bathrooms.rooms were big and comfortable, some with a view on the operating harbour
8.3 Excellent
Pros: A family-run hotel, with a soul and history, nicely decorated, unlike purely functional accommodation common in Iceland. Comfy bed. Quiet place. The staff is very helpful. Good restaurant, good pastries for breakfast.
Cons: The restaurant closes at 8, which is very early compared to our standards (OK, the Icelanders eat very early, "when in Rome, do as the Romans"...), we had to eat at the petrol station at our arrival at 8.30 the 1st day (we stayed 2 nights). The only bread for breakfast is soft bread. No soap and shampoo provided (but it is a common fact in Icelandic hotels).
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was great, great view, staff were friendly and helpful, pillows were comfy
Cons: Our room wasn’t the cleanest. Dust bunnies on the floor and some on one of the beds too. As it is an old building it is rather loud inside and you can easily hear people in adjacent rooms and downstairs in the dining room.
6.8 Good
Pros: It was warm and we could control the heat. The owner was super friendly.
Cons: It was really really loud, even for an old house. When we got there, nobody had any knowledge of our reservation despite a confirmation from Booking.com. No breakfast options
5.8 Okay
Pros: The staff were pleasant, and there was an interesting view from the window. The place itself and the town are the sort of things that give a destination character.
Cons: The room was quite dark, the walls very thin (I thought when my neighbor walked across his room during the night that he had walked into mine), and worst, the doors squeak something fierce, so when someone gets up to use the bathroom down the hall, it wakes everyone up. They really could use some oil.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The beds were cosy. Bathrooms good size. Stunning scenery on way there
Cons: Nowhere to make a cup tea. No food available . All facilities shut . There should have been a warning g about that
6.3 Good
Pros: The rooms had character... and good location in Bolungarvík. Comfy bed.
Cons: We were booked in to stay for 3 nights but left after 2. Main disappointment was that it was incredibly noisy. It’s an old building with thin walls, very squeaky doors that slam shut - when people are in their rooms it almost sounds like they’re in your room. This would be fine if other guests were considerate.. on the first night we were woken at midnight by the room next to us arriving back, they proceeded to talk loudly and stomp around the hotel, sitting outside having some kind of party until 2am. The next night we had noise from loads of teenagers who were outside the hotel having some kind of party, again this was until the early hours. We also had noisy guests return around midnight. Other than noise things were ok.. room was very small which we expected (also very hot even with the radiator off - so we had to have the window open which made the noise worse). Bathroom wasn’t particularly clean, we wore flip flops in the shower. The hotel had no signs or anything to encourage guests to be considerate in terms of noise. Also, after our arrival we didn’t see a single member of staff around the place to talk to about our issues... when we left a day early we literally just had to leave the key on a table as we couldn’t find anybody. Given the amount we paid we expected better. For the same price, our alternative accommodation on the 3rd night (still in the Westfjords) was a lovely cabin with private bathroom and beautiful view.. infinitely better and we finally had a good nights sleep!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great beds and pillows, the four of us slept like babies.
6.3 Good
Pros: My room had an street and ocean view
Cons: The old building has bad acoustic you can hear people talk two rooms away
7.0 Good
Pros: Staff very friendly and helpful
Cons: Walls are as thin as paper One could virtually hear a „mouse fart“ in the other roomhistotiv

7.5 Good
Pros: Nice breakfast.
Cons: The check-in and breakfast is at another hotel nearby. It is not really a hotel, rather an annex building with rooms.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, very comfortable and clean room.
Cons: Have to go to hotel Isafjordur for breakfast. Not a huge issue but if it’s raining or cold you have to get togged up for breakfast.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location was good. The staff and breakfast at the main building were good but it was in a different building nearby.
Cons: Parking and general feel. I ended up parking in the street because its lot was small. The lobby and general feel was empty and not really finished or taken care of. It was not warm or welcoming as I was accustomed to in all the places I stayed in Iceland.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely room, great shower, superb breakfast
Cons: n/a
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The view out the window was fabulous. The hotel is located in a very good location. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were extremely polite and helpful.
Cons: The elevator was manual and a little scary but we didn’t mind using the staircase.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good buffet breakfast and dinner in the sister Isafjördur Hotel 200m away was excellent.
Cons: The rooms were a little cramped.
6.8 Good
Pros: The hotel itself is located right in the heart of the town, supermarket, post office, tourist information they are all within walking distance, just a few mins away. Breakfast are good.
Cons: The single room is very basic, small and there’s no table or desk where you can write stuffs on or simply enjoy your take out. You can sit on a chair, but that’s it. Not a room that should cost around $150-180. Hotel reception is at Hotel Isafjördur, only like 2 mins walk and the hotel receptionists, some are friendly some are just so so. Each morning you have to walk to Hotel Isafjördur to have your breakfast, I have no problem with that as long as it’s not raining. Overall, the Hotel Horn is not bad, but it’s just not that great either.
7.5 Good
Cons: Did not like walking to another hotel fir check in and for breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were upgraded to hotel isafjordur
7.0 Good
Pros: Great location, big clean rooms, quiet, comfortable bed.
Cons: A bit tricky to book a room as I had to make 3 separate bookings for 3 nights in the raw - otherwise it showed the rooms aren't available. Wi-fi was losing the connection sometimes. The reception and the breakfast located at another hotel 3 min walk - not a big deal, but can be an extra effort after a challenging hike :-) If you're planning to have a dinner at the hotel restaurant you better book the table beforehand.

Pros: Simple and clean accommodation. Fairly priced and very satisfactory. Good Breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: the breakfast was very good.
Cons: the room could have been a little bit bigger.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: rooms, breakfast, service
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were cozy, clean & beds were comfy. Breakfast was plentiful, typical and good. Guesthouse was old, charming and in center of small, picturesque town. Our room had had a small, partial view of the harbor. We had use of kitchen, so were able to make our own meal one night. Overall, our stay was fine.
Cons: Because the house is old, the floors and stairs creak. You can also hear the bathroom showers and hair dryers going early in the AM, as well as the other residents walking around. There is no lift and only stairs, so if these are a concern for you, be forewarned. None of the above were problems for my family, however, just wanted to let others know.

8.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location very friendly staff.
Cons: A little older and worn but still awesome
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Room was on one level - no stairs.
Cons: The shower room was unbelievably dirty. .Guests were using toilet room to bathe. Kitchen poorly equipped and not clean.
6.3 Good
Pros: Easy access to the shared bathrooms. Two on the floor we stayed at.
Cons: The shower was broken, needs some easy fixing. Small double bed.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The room itself was warm and clean. Thank you
Cons: 1. Sharing one toilet and tiny shower with 6 other rooms. One shower mat and two hand towels used and over again for this many guests is really unacceptable. Replace the hand towel with disposable paper towels. Give guests their own bath mats. 2. Looks nothing like photos 3. Price compared to room . . . Highway robbery 4. Bed linen... The duvet cover could not close as all the buttons were gone, so duvet kept slipping out of cover. Duvet covers are cheap to replace...just replace them.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice common kitchen/living room facilities. Excellent value for money.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Simple, friendly staff.

Pros: The location
Cons: The room was not clean and didn’t smell good
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful staff and Fantastic town!
7.0 Good
Pros: The location is very good. When we arrived we were asked to take off our shoes before entering, we felt the smell of bleach but we did not think much of it. We thought there might be a hot tub or swimming pool in the facility :-) After a while we noticed the bottom of our socks were discoloring so we asked the person on duty and asked him if he had been mopping the floor with bleach, we showed him our socks and he admitted that he had been mopping the floor with pure bleach because someone had complained about fishy smell and he wanted to get rid of the smell quickly. Then it dawned on him and he realized the reason for his own socks dissolving.. Made me laugh and I still am.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was spartan but very clean and centrally located, although given the small size of the town perhaps that wasn’t hard to do.
Cons: It didn’t have a TV? But for 50 bucks a night I wasn’t expecting one so that’s not fair.

Cons: When we arrived in , we couldn’t believe our eyes... the outside of the house looked old and rusty, as we went in, there was only a young man, greeting us with the words „i don‘t work here“ (later we found out it was the son of the owner). he told us to contact a number, which would lead us to the chef of the house. said - done! on the phone he pointed us to a room, which was dirty and unmade. don‘t get me wrong the whole house was dirty and filthy, totally outdated. the sheets had stains and hair on it. and don‘t even get me started on the bathroom situation. 1. one toilette for 10 rooms, which i had to clean by myself to use it at least with toilett paper 2. the showers: they were overall unhygienic It looks like an old run down youth hostel - it doesn‘t match the pictures at all!!! There was never any sign of the host. It was a chilly feeling being all alone in the house. Thanks for nothing! Don‘t stay there it is not worth the price at all!
3.0 Mediocre
Cons: The place was dirty indsite -the kitchen was so AWFUL. It was dirty outside as well. We had to wake up the staff to get breakfast at 8 o'clock and it was the worst we have eaten for 3 weeks traveling around. We paid much more than other guests, and have tried to get money back - but no. DONT BOOK HERE.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: All the floors are covered with a very dirty/stained carpet. Guests are allowed to walk with their shoes which may explain why. All the rooms on the second floor were dirty, the beds were not made, garbages were full, and no one was even occupying them. Which made me wonder when was last time they cleaned the entire guesthouse. The rooms were not as nice as what was advertised on the internet, the pictures did not represent reality. The grass on the property had not been cut for a long time and the building looked run down. The guesthouse also advertised that breakfast was available when we booked. Once we arrived there was no one to talk to. I received a message an email explaining where my room was. When I asked about the breakfast, I was told that they were new owners and that the breakfast was not available anymore. The owner said it was booking.com’s fault because they had not removed it from the website. The owner said we might see him in the morning if we didn’t leave too late. We left at 11 and saw no one. Lastly, the guesthouse is near a fish factory so there is a terrible fish smell all the time.
7.0 Good
Cons: We were there four nights, we only got two breakfasts. The price has increased from 396 € to 411.13 without explanation.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: New hosts (since 5 months) were extremely friendly, accomodating and attentive. They really go the extra mile for you. When I visited (06-2019) it was nearly empty so they gave me a free upgrade since the rooms were empty anyway. There is a large area with showers, perhaps an extra toilet would be nice. Rooms could be darkened sufficiently to block out the midnight sun.
Cons: Only one restaurant in the town, with little to no vegetarian options. Guesthouse is in need of maintenance/renovations but new owners are working on that.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely location, very comfortable, had everything we needed and more. Staff we’ve very nice and very quick to reply. Very happy and will definitely be staying again.
Cons: Slight lack of parking but nothing otherwise
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was a m a z i n g ! Very nice place with a great terrace to relax in the summer sun :) thank you for the warm welcoming!
5.8 Okay
Cons: The room, especially the toilet is not clean. The breakfast is not good - limited selection and cold cut not fresh enough.
6.8 Good
Pros: The location is nice and the rooms are quite specious.
Cons: The place is not well maintained. There was only one staff member who seemed to be busy with her computer. The kitchen was untidy and not too clean. Breakfast was included but it was served in an unesthetic way. The milk was finished and when we asked for more milk we were told there isn't any. The showers were two floors downstair the room.

Pros: Hot pool only hotel in the region
Cons: Run down looks like it collapse in a Minute - toilet seat was loose - style like of the 60 th but price for the 90th- 164 euro for a room with shared bathroom in this run down hotel is not matching the value

Pros: Pool was fabulous although they just refillednit the night we got there so it was boiling hot. Had to wait until the next morning to use it.
Cons: No food available if you arrive late which we did.
7.5 Good
Pros: Good location along 61, nice thermal pool, good restaurant.
Cons: The place is in need of renovation (which seems to be in progress). We were offered two 2-person rooms instead of one 4-person room for the same price, which is nice. However, overall the place is too expensive for what is being offered.
