Pros: The hosts Philippe and Jessica were fabulous. Went out of their way to help us when we had difficulties with our bicycles. The room was lovely overlooking the church and the bed was the most comfortable ever!
Cons: Nothing we loved our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone.
Pros: Clean and comfy, extremely hospitable hosts and wonderfully presented property
Cons: I could only stay for one night and I did accidentally get locked in!!
Pros: Everything to like! We spent three days at Chez Casimir and enjoyed every minute and hope to return. Our hosts Philippe and Jessica could not have been more welcoming, kind and generous. We arrived as strangers and left as friends. The house and facilities are all tasteful and comfortable. The bathrooms are modern and the shower great. Breakfast featured excellent homemade jams. The village is also lovely and wonderfully peaceful. We are cyclists and enjoyed the many good scenic cycling options and Philippe was very helpful with advice. There was also a good and reasonably priced restaurant less than five minutes walk away. Chez Casimir has a very high score and this is more than justified. We also enjoyed one evening a table d'hote which was tasty and above all great fun.
Pros: Very hospitable hosts, would highly recommend, exceeded any expectations
Pros: Everything was super nice!
Pros: The Host and Hostess went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. I would say this place is a hidden gem. It is a great place to get away from the city's hustle and bustle.
Pros: Arrived as guests, left as friends. Phillipe and Jessica could not have been more welcoming. Their house is amazing and very tastefully furnished. Breakfast was fantastic We didn’t think things could get better on our cycle trip to Geneva but they did- thanks Excellent recommendation to local restaurant

Cons: Advertised as 3 double beds per room on booking.com but only one per room so we ended up having to pay for an extra room to save our teenage children sleeping in the same bed together !

Pros: Everything was amazing! We booked this trip in order to relax and heal, and it was just perfect. Therese and Evert Jan is fantastic hosts and their château was beautiful decorated. Every morning we sat for an amazing breakfast, which typically include homemade yogurt, fresh fruit, some kind of egg, homemade jams and fresh bread and croissants from the local bakery. We ended up eating at Therese and Evert Jan 4 times out of 6 night, because the food and the company of our hosts was more than we could dream of. Each night was a three course meal, and it was fingerlicking good! We spend a few days by the wonderful pool and Therese and Evert Jan made us nice lunches. There is a fridge filled with sodas, beers, wines and water and each room has a little scorecard, were we could mark what we have taken. This was perfekt for us! Therese also makes some very nice cocktails - I recommend the Peach Gin!
Cons: I can't think of something negative - perhaps only that we had to leave at some point ;-)
Pros: Our hosts could not have been more welcoming. The chateau is a perfect example of rural french culture. The bonus was the food, all home made produce including the wine.
Cons: There was nothing to spoil the stay
Pros: Lovely host, romantic old building and very nice breakfast. The room was spacious and double glazed windows blocked the road noise. Bathroom is modern and very clean. Breakfast at a large table took us a bit by a surprise but was a nice experience. Fresh croissants and home made jams were the highlight of the morning, shame no more apricot jam was available for sale.
Cons: It’s a trifle and isn’t really something to complain about as such. The room didn’t have a tv and the WiFi wasn’t reliable. It didn’t affect our stay in any way.
Pros: Lovely property, with lovely spacious family room. Swimming pool was really nice for the kids, a good size. Highlight was the wine tasting followed by cheese and dinner - I learned loads about the local wine, and how to do a wine tasting, it was really enjoyable - I just wished we'd done more of it during our stay instead of trying to explore local restaurants.
Cons: We didn't have much luck with restaurants - particularly as we arrived on a Sunday night, which is often tricky in France - I recommend booking dinner on the first night - it was lovely, and the wine tasting was fantastic. We tried a few places nearby, but they were closed, and we ended up making quite a long drive to Decize twice to eat out. Also you have to rent a towel for the pool
Pros: Friendly owners, quiet location surrounded by beautiful countryside, good home cooked food using their own produce when possible and great wine from the region.
Pros: The food was amazing and the swimming pool was fantastic.
