The hotel is in the very city center where you have everything at hand. Just around the corner from the cathedral or Avenida do Mar with all the buses going around the island. The staff are so nice and helpful! When I mentioned that I would have leave before breakfast they immediately suggested to bring something to my room in the evening and put it in the mini fridge for me. Also, they didn’t have a slightest problem with storing my luggage for a week, when I hiked across the island. The service was just perfect! The room was clean, quiet and well equipped. Would stay again.

Great stay in Funchal, nearby restaurants, coffees and shops. The room was clean and quiet, the bathroom big and comfy. Good breakfast to start your day with attentive service. Sonia is just amazing and gives good suggestions about activities and sightseeing. Private parking just in front (7€ p day).

The hotel is small, cozy and the rooms look exactly like the photos. Everything was very clean and nicely decorated. The location is great! A nice surprise was complimentary wine and a welcome cake. Many thanks to Sonia and the rest of the staff, they were wonderful, kind and very helpful, it was a pleasure to meet them. We definitely recommend staying at São Francisco Accommodation! :)
