comfortable bed, spacious room & bathroom, 70's climate :)
the staff were unfriendly
Good location, good staff, good breakfast
It is central easy to reach places of interest nothinng but the breakfast are not as well as previes year.
view of Baltic Sea did not like amount of missinformation given by staff and lack of general atttitude to tourists. Booked double room but given room of lesser rate and still had to pay full rate. staff very uncooperative and blamed all problems on booking company.
Friendly and supportive staff. Good breakfast. There was no airconditioner. Had to open a window but weekend night was noisy in the hotel area until 4am.
This Hotel is very well situated right in the center. The continental breakfast which is very nice, is served in a cosy place... Windows are not well isolated from the outside, you hear the wind and people making fun. Choose the rooms with sea view with no habitation in front. The bed matress was awfull, ( not enough hard), pain to the back, neck the morning, difficulties to fall asleep. Mini Bar and channels on Tv was poor. The whole Hotel has to be renovated, looks old. Nice Hotel for travellers or tourists, but not for business man who need some rest and silence.
It was nice hotel and my daughter loved swimming pool.
Your hotel is quite old: built in 1979! so facilities/services were really poor: no standard personnel things: soap, comb, tooth paste etc was provided but I couldn't require more than what given. Nothing special.
Room was hot during day and evening. Had to sleep with the window open to cool the room down at night. Bed has only bottom sheet and comforter.
the way they set their prices. I booked the room in the Dutch language, so the price was in Euro's. When paying the bil they charged the invoice to Zloty, which is not a problem in other rooms booked via booking.com, but they use their own exchange rates --> higher price than the €-price. As I paid with a Danisch creditcard, did they charge me til Danish krones, so another 'raise' in price.
a minutes walk from the beach - a beautiful walk along the promenade - good restaurants near by - great location - would suit mature and young
Continental breakfast was good. Upset that you have to pay to use the jacuzzi
The location at the seaside was great. The breakfast was good. The staff was very helpful. Parking was not a problem. Not a beautiful hotel, but great location and good value.
It is very close to the sea, therefore ideal The steps leading down to the promenade are too steep and quite dangerous
I have now stayed here several times and remain very pleased with this hotel on all counts. Nothing to note.
the place of the Hotel No
Located directly at the water, great! Breakfast service is crap, staff (in the breakfast room) badly trained and unfriendly
The rooms are comfortable and clean. The food served in the restaurant was excellent although you would want some variety if staying mare than a day ot two. There is little or no atmosphere in the bar.
We had very clean and comfortable room. Breakfast was versatile and very tasty. Staff was gentile and ready to help in any kind of things.
This hotel had a relaxing atmosphere, which is what you actually need after a busy day at work. Almost everything was according to what you can expect from a brand new Hilton hotel. The breakfast can be improved.
Very clean and comfortable. Definitely recommended. The breakfast was a little short.
Large comfortable room with good facilities. Very young staff not up to 5* service levels
cleaness, comfort, pleasent environment, good location, design should be one person who is mmore informed about eventual problems considering interenet conections
Rooms are very well appointed. Bed is comfortable and nice. We had a sea view that was great. Slow housekeeping service. Breakfest at $30 per person!!?? Much too much.
meals in the restaurant, design of the hotel, location design of the restaurant is like a dining room in student house
Nice hotel with pleasant and helpfull staff. Nice rooms, and a perfect location. The hotel is not ready and charges 5 star prices for a 3 star facility. No fitness room, no meeting rooms... it is too expensive for its offerings.
Nice location and good facilities. Clean and tidy Most personal good but some of the girls in the reception still think that you have to be dressed in a certain way to stay in the hotel. In Sweden we have a different clothes code maybe moore casual than in Poloand. So one of my collegues got a bit ill treated when we arrived. see above
nothing even if you have a question you have got to pay...
The spa is lovely and the location on the beach is good. The Sheraton Sopot unfortunately was a disappointment. The location was fantastic but the service let it down. Everything was an extra cost from breakfast, use of the spa, internet, late check-out for just one hour. It felt like the hotel just wanted to make money rather than welcome guests. Having come from the Hilton in Gdansk where nothing was too much trouble and there were no extra costs for any of the above we were surprised to find a hotel of similar quality differing so much.
Very bad room service. We waited over an hour for our order. There was no coffee, milk or toilet paper either.
The only thing we didn't like was we paid extra for a room with a sea view. When we looked out our window it was very hard to see the sea as there were large trees blocking our view. They would not change the rate of our room even though it really wasn't a sea view. They could not move us the first night, but were able to the second night. Our view from the second room was better, but there were still trees blocking some of the view. I also wish the rooms had a real balcony, there are doors that open, but there is only about 6 inches of balcony to stannd on.
I did not get the room which I booked.People from reception were not able to solve my problem.
very nice hotel, I had a great time
The quality of the place and the pool indeed. Late checkin time 2pm and early checkout 10am !
The best is the bed, very comfortable. Also, the free internet in the room is ok. Very nice building (hystorical). Lack of english language channels on tv. The central heating system didn't work in first instance, but they fixed it somehow. The internet also couln't work until somebody fixed it. Room service didn't answer several times. Anyway, the resort is more populated in the summer because of the sea side.
swomming poll and sauna
Our suite #214 - one of the biggest rooms in the whole hotel! And the individual exclusive feeling of staying in such a historical hotel! If the walls could speak... We ordered food to the room (room service) and it didn´t fullfill the expecations of a 5-star hotel. Plain and standard taste unfortunately...
Most comfortable beds in Europe!!!
Lower price - price in Poland for the type of Hotel to high - I have been in other hotel in Gdansk (Novotel) also close to the beach like Sofitel -and the diffirent in price is to high - We are not getting much more at Sofitel compare to Novotel - and the price at Sofitel is more than 25 % more expencive When we have to go to the beach you have to work around the hole hotel - there is no directly entrance to the beach h
Sea view, bath robes, luxurious cosmetics, excellent bed and bed linnen, tea and coffee in the room low quality TV, room layout, uncomfortable bar area with the unpleasant smell from the restaurant, no lobby/lauch/relaxing area with sea view. From 5 star hotel being so expensive I expected much more, however the view from the window compensated for everything
The Room was so dirty. We had the same problem last year when we stayed in the same hotel.
Beautiful building and high standard of finish inside, rooms very comfortable and elegantly furnished. Staff very polite and willing to please. I liked the breakfast buffet whihc had a wide variety plus chef cooked breakfast option at no extra cost. 1. Food (dinner) and dining service in this hotel is fair but not up to other European 5 Star hotels and certainly should be better for the price. 2. Although my room was impressively furnished, the bed gave me serious back ache after just one night. I do not have problems with my back and would suggest the bed is too soft 3. No foreign exchange available in such a large and expensive hotel! 4. The Internet connection was so slow it was virtually unusable
Friendly staff and the comfiest bed I have slept in
Staff were friendly and helpful ,in all areas Was at weekend ,but seating at Breakfast was not organised ,all tables basically full ,timing maybe out on arrival etc . Not sure how to improve though ,as tables were efficiently cleaned . Hotel Bar closes at 10pm ,unless you are sitting at Bar ,so goi
Very good service No spa and the price of the garage
Hotel location, services, style No smoking areas in all the hotel parts
staff help was high standard not bathroom needed maintenance, hair dryer didnt work
The location was perfect. The staff was so helpful. The rooms were very nice and the breakfast one of the best I have seen in a hotel with breakfast.
The hotel is lovely and the location is terrifice. If I returned to Gdansk, I would definately stay there again. Abosolutely no complaints.
Room was very comfortable and quiet. Hotel is very well situated for the main shopping area and waterfront. I would recommend this hotel to friends.
Great location. friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms.
Friendly staff and spacious rooms Small breakfast area, but good food.
staff were very helpful, location great and rooms very comfortable - no criticisms or complaints.
Excellent beds and service. -
The Radisson blu is the best hotel i have stayed at.The staff are the best superb i would recommend this hotel to anyone first class.
Excellent location right in the centre of Gdansk, very friendly stuff. Highly recommend! Nothing
Best showers ever. Free internet. Comfortable beds. Good bar. Central location. Breakfast good, but little variety:same every day. The reception area is probably the worst design I have ever seen in a hotel. Impossible to sit and relax, not to mention ugly decor. Bedroom seating very uncomfortable.
Good location, nice rooms, helpful staff. Renovation work, nothing was said before we booked. Bar was gone on our 2nd day!!!
Breakfast price was somewhat on the expensive side
hotel is clean and in good area for going about gdansk with plenty to do
Clean, room, location The cost of the reservation differed from the amount I have paid.
Please write at least 15 words The food was poor quality via room service
It was very confortable and staff was very pleasent.
Proffesionalism of the staff. Design of hotel corridors :)
The reception staff were courteous and friendly, they spoke good English On several occaisions there was a bad smell from the toilet and sink.
good breakfast, kind staff, good location, clean, good rooms, cheap nothing
Hotel staff very friendly and outgoing in any respect. Great location in the centre and still not much noise comming from outside. Homely and cozy atmosphere unlike to impersonal and boring big hotels. Stayed at gruond floor (raised). I could here anyone moving above my room as well as anyone just walking up/down on the steps. Since the reception is on the first floor, there is lots of moving up and down. Fault of buildings design.
Staff was awesome, very helpful. I dealt with 3 different staff members while we were there and they were all friendly and answered my questions and/or concerns. The cutest little villa around.
The staff, very very nice, helpful and kind. The room was in the basement, almost under ground.
We were only there one night, but it was a very nice, small, cozy place with private parking. Would stay again! Not really a complaint, the only thing is that it's a lovely little building but it's completely surrounded by grim concrete tower blocks. Not actually so bad, when you're there, so please don't let it put you off - but just to be aware that there's no pretty green view or anything.
Lovely little place to stay. Great staff. Recommended.
Breakfast, location, television, personell Mini bar, bed covers, sound isolation of doors, heating
very friendly staff, good location, nice room, very good price-quality level There was almost no sound isolation in the rooms, you can hear everything from the corridors, from upstairs
Very good hotel with friendly staff. A bit difficult to find
Location was right in the downtown and close to everywhere I wanted to go. Room was small.
It was very clean! One person of the staff was unfriendly, but only one.
Staff was good but I found that the beed was not to clean, I found blood in the bottom sheet.
Delicious breakfast, right near the beach, free parking, quiet, nice hot tub nothing fun to do in the immediate area, no restaurants or pubs
general area. closeness to beach. size of room. bathroom excellent Lack of bar or restaurants in immediate area
Sea at 100 m Hotel was in rebuild
I liked the friendly staff who helped whenever we needed taxi's etc.The food was great and the hotel was very clean. Only that the beds were uncomfortable. But I find all hotel beds the same.
very relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff
Restaurant was excellent. Friendly staff. Fitness centre. This is important for me and the weight training facilities were almost non existant. So how can one call it a fitness centre and gym? Excellent running through the forest though!
the location was relaxing and quite just a bit far to the attractions in Gdansk
Was a clean and comfortable hotel. Lovely breakfast. Average dinner, expensive for what was offered. Not much happenning within walking distance of the hotel. Bedding did not fit bed.
A beautiful hotel with one of the best included breakfasts I have seen during my travels in Poland. Beautiful pool, sauna, spa. Housecleaning removed a personal item from my room and disposed of it. By the time I realised it was gone I was told it was impossible to get back. Was not really happy with the explanation or apology. Marred an otherwise perfect stay.
luxorious and spacy room, peaceful surroundings the restaurant was overpriced compared to quality of the portions. The breakfast personal didn`t tell there is a cook making omelets in one of the rooms. On leaving day there was water break all morning so we had to leave the hotel with dirty feeling and without shower or spa. However no discount on price was given even that I asked.
The Hotel has a lovely location, generous well furnished rooms. The restaurant is excellent. I would strongly reccomend this Hotel and will definatley stay again when in Gdansk.
nice rooms, good ambiance parking not convnient
the ambiance; the beautiful location
Very well furnished and equipped No outside possibility after sauna. It was a shame about the building site noise early in the morning during our stay.
The staff at the front desk were pleasant. An elderly gentleman went out of his way to get us information on how to get to Hel Peninsula. The beds were not very comfortable. Without a car the hotel was a bit far from the centre of town.
Charming staff, lovely clean bright room The room has a few minor missing details - no hangers in the wardrobe, not enough towel hanging space in bathroom, etc. All small and easily fixed. The breakfast kitchen is too small for the number of guests and gets very congested at peak times.
Room was big and had a nice terrace. They wouldn't take credit card so we had to try and find a money machine that we could use to draw out cash. This would put me off staying there again. Also I think that their rates should be in Zloty not Euros.
The owner was very welcoming, friendly and spoke English. The room was large, elegant and very comfortable. Parking was free and so was wi-fi internet. Continental breakfast included in the price. Would stay again if in the area. This hotel is terrific and close to everything.
the hotel was lovely, large rooms very fresh and airy - staff very helpfull. Position was quiet and just what we were looking for. Breakfast was nice although eating area very small it didnt matter and we took our breakfast to our room. The rooms wernt quite finished. Our room had no curtains or mirror other than in the bathroom, but we were moved the next day. but still no mirror in the room which as a girl is a must im affraid. Didnt spoil our stay at all thou and would love to stay again.
Very nice woman in the reception (22 July) Convient to have access to small kitchen
Easy and comfortable Our flight got cancelled on the way there. So we arrived on sat morning. There was 9 of us and we thought out of good well, we might at least get a discount for fri noght but they were not interested in our distress.
Very nice hotell!
Hotell staff was great! They were ready to help us 24 hours per day. Room was comfortable and very clean. We really enjoyed our stay at the Villa Gdynia.
Relaxed and went to the Beach
The room was very comfortable, also the bathroom Breakfast area was rather cramped. The hotel is a bit out of the way if you don't have a car, although there are frequent buses to Gdynia and Sopot from the nearby main road
Good small hotel not far from sea, apartament room good to stay with childrens. Room is light and confortable. Big rooms and bathroom. Good personal. Small parking (only for 2 cars), room clean every second day, only ligued soap in bathroom ( no shower gel, shampoo). Room sound isolation is bad. Broken lock in bathroom. Problem with sewarege in bathroom sink and shower. Jacuzzi in bathroom not work properly.
Quite nice location, the sea is 10-minute walk across the forest. not very far there's a shop where you can buy some food and it's open till 22 (which is very good for Gdynia, where most part of everything is closed after 19-20, especially at weekend). Just oppozite the hotel there is a bus stop which takes you right to the center of Gdynia or to the central railway station. jacuzzi and sauna are in the price, so you can relax in the evening for example. quite nice breakfast, served from 7 to 11 (you should choose and tell what time you want to have breakfast). A little bit too small room for the price. only one chair in a double room, and it was quite uncomfortable for sitting. no hooks for towels in the bathroom, no place to put shampoo or bathing gel while taking a shower. really noisy church with really unpleasant bell-ringing at 6.30 in the morning (then at 11.30 and one more time in the evening). A little bit too hard to get to the place on foot, because it is located on a hill, so you must walk for about 20 minutes up the hill. but there is a bus stop (bus number 133, right from the central railway station) just near the place, so it's not a big problem.
It's a small hotel close to down town, nice, clean and quite big rooms, sauna, gim and jaccuzi there's very close a noisy church, small parking lot (for 2 cars), no restaurant
