staff excellent!breakfast good and filling.rooms very clean and comfortable.
The location was close to the shops and the pedestrianised area. I stayed at this hotel for only one night but I would not have stayed any longer. Firstly i found it difficult to find as there were several establishments Flotzinger Brau in nearby streets. I found the room very basic indeed with no comfort factor. I had to leave before breakfast so, i can't comment on that
Although not easy to find, and when you get there there is no real reception area, (it's in the cafe/bar) it was quiet and clean. The buffet is very modest but sufficient. The woman spoke english and was very friendly. I loved that it had free WiFi although it did come in and out. The location is actually quite good. 15 minute (or more if crowded) walk from train station but a few turns and a lot of cobblestone. Close to excellent restaurants. Although a very modest hotel with virtually no ammenities (soap, blowdryer, clock, etc.) it was clean and well priced. But the reason I did not stay more than one night is the pillows are intolerable. They are huge and fiberform instead of feather so they are not good at all for sleeping. If this place had nice pillows, it would have been fine.
The staffs are very nice to us and very helpful. The room are very clean.
The hotel is a little far away from the train station. You have to walk across the city, but in the end is nice because you can have an impression of the city. The breakfast is good. There is not elevator. It's an old building.
Enjoyed being in the historic district and the English speaking guest mistress was delightful and very helpful. No elevator. I was up 3 flights and had a very heavy suitcase.
authentic old style bavarian, good food, polite staff. loud, very loud. they had a concert the first (and only night) we stayed. hours were spent setting up the stage, clang clang clang, and then afterwards, clang clang clang.
Great location, excellent friendly staff , huge size rooms, very clean.
The staff were very friendly Nothing
Excellent staff, excellent coffee, cosy hotel, large room, tasty breakfast, good location - not far from the city centre but in a calm, green district. Minibar!!!
Very friendly staff is making stay in the hotel real pleasure.
The staff was very helpful during our stay. When we couldn't find a place to have laundary done in a day, they offered to to wash a load for us, which is something they do not normally do.
This hotel is a little gem, outside of the center of Munich, but easily accessible by the S-Bahn's regular service. The hotel is quiet, comfortable, and clean and the spacious comfortable bedrooms have TV and free internet access. The staff are friendly and helpful, and have time to chat with guests. Breakfast is excellent - good choice, plentiful and available until mid morning. On fine days, it can be taken on the small patio outside of the breakfast room. Evenings were quiet (as it was in the hotel itself) in the surrounding area so for families this would be a good choice. We totally enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Nothing to dislike.
breakfast no elevator, TV
location and size of rooms
We reserved a room for 4 persons. We've got a very good room. But it's quite noisy during the morning hours. Otherwise everything was very god. Morning noise
Everything: nice hotel, good location, good acces to the center, very familiar atmosphere. Very good breakfast, comfortably room . There is in a peacefull area with little houses , some supermarkets nearby( one of them at the groundfloor of the hotel). Maybe the fridge is helpfull.
Breakfast was good, rooms were clean Room very cold, bathroom very small, tile floors in room (?!?)
Nice beer garden. Lovely old hotel.Food great. On a corner lots of noisy motorcycles going by.
quality of food/drink available in the bar
good feeling that living in the community No wardrobe, very basic, no tea & coffee - used to a little bit more comfort. But staff where nice and very German so felt we had a feel of the culture
The toilet was totally dirty: Hair, dust everywhere...even an empty water bottle! Very poor breakfast. We arrived at 03:00 o'clock in the morning. Even though I have written an email saying so, I called to see that everything will be ok with this. We agreed that they would leave the key to a certain place for us. When we arrived, after a 6-hour-trip the key wasn't there. We called the phone number. Luckily someone was there! But he had to wake up, check first his p/c, having us waiting in the rain at 3:00 o'clock in the morning to make sure we weren't lying to him! He could just let us in and give us the key! Bad service, small room and very dirty at a high price!
the hotel was within walking distance of railway station & main town centre ideal for short day or two break the bathroom was very small
Very clean and new rooms. (We only stay one night, because we were going for Austria. Difficult to find, the map was too little. We need breakfast earlier, because we need to go as early as possible.
The hotel staffs were really friendly and helpful. The hotel is not at all 'value for money'.
Location: easy to find, close to the highway No restaurant, no place for dinner after a long traveling day. Misleading and unfair information in the reception, that the nearest restaurant is only in the center of Rosenheim, 20 min. walk from Alpina: I found the perfect restaurant across the street, in the neighbouring hotel, 100 m from Alpina.
Everything was OK. No complaints.
Easy to find by car, comfortable bed
It is a nice, clean, comfortable hotel with a helpful staff.
The hotel had flair, it was also very cozy. We enjoyed the balancy view. The traffic was not pleasant and the room smelled somewhat of smoke.
I appreciate the location of the hotel and the hotel staff too soft bed
I was there only one night and this hotel has improved my expectations.
The staff was very nice The bathroom was very small
very good, escellent breakfast
The Hotel is conveniently located and an excellent hotel for the business traveller.
comfortable room with good facilities, helpful staff and excellent breakfast room
This is not a four star hotel.
The location only rooms are very small and very hot
only the breakfast, no good service I never will go there again
breakfast room We were not given a room on the quiet side of the hotel with mountain views as requested (as we had been given on a previous visit at New Year). We pointed this out to the management and asked to move. This was refused, saying it was not possible, yet it was obvious that the hotel was far from full during our stay. Considering that we were returning guests, we booked three months ago, we stayed for five nights not just one, and that we recommended the hotel to other friends whom we took with us on this occsion, we felt that this was poor service. All their literature says that they aim to please etc etc but it was just not true. In every other aspect, we find this an excellent hotel and ideally situated for visiting our relatives nearby - the accommodation is good and the breakfast room is excellent. However, we shall think twice before returning.
it was too short the rooms had no bath,
We could walk to the nicer section of town. cubby hole rooms- No accessories like pictures to make it pleasant.
convenient location in the heart of town no internet connection
room and restaurant to big!
This converted American air base is a very unusual place. Without GPS it can be hard to find. Our room was huge, but rather bare and the bed was only a standard double rather than the German standard of 2 singles, which was rather odd given the huge size of the room.
The rooms were spacious and welcoming. Quiet setting. The bartender was excellent and accommodating. Difficult to find the hotel even with GPS, but this is partly due to some road construction.
I have to admit that the quality of the renovation materials is very good. We have a bad experience regarding the quality of staff. The cleaning of rooms was very, very poor. The wireless internet was working not properly, once of four times. One of the rooms doesn't have bathtub, as in the presentation for "comfort room". The breakfast was the same, with only 2 hot dishes, and very few other ones for a 4 star hotel.
the room was very nice and clean all brand newwe liked the breakfast very much we had one dinner which was also nice. we didnt like the area of the hotel meaning the arrivel way which is very complicated
Restaurant is not open in the winner but just 200m away you have a good selection. In room facilities it states a DVD & CD Player but my room did not have one and as you only get CNN in English on the TV this would have been nice.
Extrenmely friendly and attentive staff No free WiFi
it was centrally located in Rosenheim, the breakfast was nice the beds were very uncomfortable, extrememly hard. It was very loud at night. We stayed 4 nights. We did not sleep well there.
Room was bright and well appointed. Breakfast/dining room was lovely with view of Park. Service was excellent. Will stay here again.
A good rate between room price and quality of services provided Not the case
Good Bar staff. Easy parking Remote location. Menu was v limited. Room needed Tea Making kit
The staff was very friendly. We liked the garden. The hotel is suitable to visit with kids. The rooms are spacious. Nice breakfast. Family hotel. We experienced the bed mattress to be a bit uncomfortable. Old(er) bathroom, no bath.
A cosy hotel with a friendly atmosphere. The lighting in the bathrooms could have been better, it was much too dim.
It was a lovely hotel, restaurant served good food & breakfast was excellent.
the staff were very friendly and helpful, even wrote me an email before my stay as they had noticed I was arriving by train and gave me important information about where to get off the train so as to be within 5 minutes walk of the hotel. They provide robe and towel for the spa and a guest card which means you get in cheaper. the room was clean, well sized quiet and pleasant, the bed very comfortable. I thought the price very reasonable.
Nice family run hotel, we had nice and quiet room but I think that rooms oriented to the main street could be quite noisy. Room and also dinner were good value for money. I can recommend for a shorter stay. I do not have anything specific...
Everyone was very helpfull, friendly, and abliging. little choice in restaurant.
The service was excellent. Breakfast was very basic. Some of the rooms (and especailly bathrooms) are in a need of a face-lift.
The staff were extremely accomodating, the food was very good both at breakfast and in the restaurant. The room was a very high standard.
Really nice hotel, after a long trip you could really relax.
Extremely friendly staff, comfy rooms, and great restuarant Location was in the middle of a residentual area and by a gas station about a 5 minute taxi ride from the city center. There was free parking but it was behind someone's house. Internet wasn't free and had to go upstairs in the conference room to get a signal. Stay at this hotel if you want a nice place to sleep and eat at a great restuarant.
Unique building, the most special hotel I've ever stayed at. Very cosy and beautiful room. Excellent breakfast buffet. Squeaky bed.
The hotel was unique and the restaurant was good.
It is a very unusual and unique design for a European hotel. The staff were excellent and very gracious. The restaurant was very clean and very cultural to the monastery theme. Staff were attentive, enjoyable and very eager to please the guests. Absolutely nothing negative to say about the hotel. I would highly recommend it.
The quirky style of the place, and the restaurant for its good food and excellent staff. Wardrobe too short to hang skirts/dresses or coats. Limited space to unpack - this would not be a problem for a shorter trip, but this was part of a longer trip for us. We had a small double room - no doubt reflected in the price. It was clean and functional, but no room for armchairs, for example. Bathroom also extremely cramped, no shelving, and shower unit leaked over floor.
The staff was very polite. the Hotel is not comfortable at all bedwise and bathroomwise.
Unusual decor. Hotel resembles a monastry. Loved all the candals lit around the hotel in the evening. Very interesting to stay in. Friendly staff. Nice selection at breakfast. Bathroom a little on the small side but again, an interesting concept. Tea and coffee making facilities in room would have been nice. Car parking difficult at night time as visiting restaurant guests took all the car spaces.
Very nice design througout all details.
The room and the staff the surroundings
Sauna and swimming pool were a bonus. The hotel is very family friendly.
The kindness of your staff
Excellent breakfast and bar Nothing
Really excellent hotel staff responsiveness, pool, comfortable hotel location, town.
Facilities were as expected
Food, accomodations and service were excellent
Very nice pool and relaxing area. The restaurant is very stuffed with flies, all over the food in the buffet area but also during dinner itself on your plates, very, very disturbing. The personel was quite ignorant, either too busy (thus understaffed) or they just do not care about service,
Nice staff, room with a balcony, internet, fresh air, close to supermarket and laundry
situation, offer of wellness and fitness too many small children (scholl holidays)
A double room was shabbily converted into a family room by 2 dismantable beds...very uncomfortable for kids
The staff is very welcoming...Ms. Ingrid is lovely !
Calm and situation on my travel leg. Germany must be the only country left where a single is a small one person bed with face in wall...
the hospitability of the staff, the unique atmosphere, the comfort of the rooms no
The atmosphere and the staff
nice stuff and resturant hard to find
Thank you so much ingrid & richard! The most Welcoming, charming, courteous and friendly hotel we stayed at in Bavaria. Our room was beautiful, clean and so comfortable, and the food was truly fantastic! Also, a great place to stay for day-tripping to Salzburg or Munich. Easy train connections. Schenchen is only an 8-minute train ride from Rosenheim, and from there train connections to Austria or other cities in Germany is very easy. We encourage everyone to stay at this hotel - you will be greeted with great warmth and treated so kindly!! We will return to Landgast-Hotel - it is Superior! For those on the road for two to three weeks - there is a coin operated laundry in Rosenheim - only open Mon. to Fri. stay here!
The staff spoke enough English that we could talk & order food at their great resturant. They always asked how our day was, what we saw, made recommondations for other sites as well. Never asked for a credit card, or deposit, or address either. Very good location for day trips around Germany. Very old quaint hotel.
Enough parking-space. Spacious room, with fine/warm furniture; little balcony; big T.V.; spacious bathroom. Dinner: good prices. Only critics on details: shower gives some trouble with water on floor; restaurant lacks intimacy; hotel is a bit outside the city: not much to see/do in the immediate proximity. But a very good place to stay one night on your way to further south (as I did).
Very friendly and professional service. Very nice Bavarian atmosphere, very good restaurant with local food. Very near Rosenheim centre with country side feeling.
The owner's and personel's wish to make one happy without any obviously shown effort; you have the feeling of staying in their house and they like having content guests.
Absolutely NOTHING!!!! This “hotel” doesn’t’ have a telephone, hard to find anyone who speaks English. Receptionist was extremely unfriendly and I thought we are a bother to her because we didn’t speak German. Breakfast was suppose to be included but the older gentleman
The staff was nice, he gave me a better room because the bed suitet me better (1.95 m). I didnt meet anyone that could understand/speak english, a bit strange for such a large hotel with that many rooms. If you need internet pay at local phonebox inside hotel not the one out on the street in front of the hotel.
The hotel staff were not offended by our inability to speak German and they did not speak English. They were able to help us find an ATM. The staff was always very courteous The hotel has lots of character befitting the Bavarian location. The hotel fronts on a busy street. Luckily we were at the back of the hotel and heard only the construction going on next door.
very reliable staff and easy to find with the GPS
Breakfast was good, bed was good, rooms clean. I didn't see the staff at all, only on the breakfast. Service could be better
Bavarian style of decor / furnishings / helpful staff
The hotel room was very comfortable and well located in the middle of this spa town.
Breakfast and dinner Hardly anything to do for small children
Friendly staff, delicious food, beautiful room.
The location was excellent. The food served was first class. Service was old style but very well done.
The dinner!!Excellent food. Room too big
Friendly and accommodating staff, clean room, excellent price and good food, plus close proximity to other good restaurants and town center no
Quite nice hotel to stay in. Staff on the reception speaks english really poor.
Pool was fab, great breakfast and helpful staff Not great value and the hairdryer didn't work
trining how to treed the custmer the breck fast and the the is no resption
The breakfast was delicious. Rooms clean but spare. Bathrooms need updating. No air conditioning.
During my stay I like wonderful atmospeer, chrismas decoration and kindly reception, delecious meal...
Hotel was basically empty
Very nice hotel, easy to access with a free parking reserved to the guest of the hotel, the room had a beautifull view on the montains with a balcon around your room. The breakfast is self service buffet with a lot of choices and it's fresh. No noise and very quiet. To know : the staff speak only german and english. The price is very interesting for this quality, big value for money.
The steam bath and the two jacuzzis were not working.
Small hotel with relatively big clean rooms and very friendly and helpfull staff (they understand English but not extremely well). The breakfast is good and contains bread, cake, cereal, some cheese and meat, jam, yoghurt, orange juice, coffee and different kinds of tea. The food for diner and lunch is also quite good and not at all expensive. There is a tram (Sbahn - S8) just behind the hotel. It takes aout 45min to the centre of Munich and 1h30 to the airport (direct line).
free internet, good restaurant, excellent access to train towels , bathroom accessory
using the wireless connection of hotel Seehof! no internet (hotspot), in the summer this room was above the terras (very noisy)
The hotel is very comfortable and the hotel staff is very friendly and helpful.
The Hotel offers free internet access through wi-fi upon registration (with maxpost.de). Bandwith is good and wi-fi signal is strong everywhere. Rooms are big and beds are confortable. The breakfast is not particularly rich, but in line with the budget cost of the hotel. Rooms are generally clean, carpets and furnuture are a bit aged.
Completely refubrished room and bathroom. Furnitures chenged to new. Clean enviroment. Good heating. Strong and fast Wi-Fi connection. Good parking and 1 min. by foot to the S-Bahn line to Munich. Homely variety breakfast, but it's ok.
Good location, Good Restaurant, and good service
Buffet breakfast was great Low rating on value for money because all hotel prices were inflated just during Oktoberfest - not just this one. Normally it may be good value
Very close to the S5 train. Gets you into city/tents (Oktoberfest!) within 30 minutes. Very convenient
Close to business location where I was working
Large and clean rooms. Parking and WiFi with strong signal available for free. Breakfast can be improved. No credit card accepted.
Wifi free and breakfast. No credit card allowed!
Nice service, good breakfast and low price. I think there is nothing to add. Basically hotel is rather old but it doesent matter... I was satisfied, no complants.... -----------
Easy access and freedom to come and go Not a complaint really but during the quite hot weather an electric fan would have been an advantage
Quiet and very nice neighborhood, proximity of public transport (S-Bahn) %
The hotel restaurant is closed on a Sunday.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms very clean and spacious, walking distance to town and river walk. Restaurant not open the night we arrived, which was a sunday
Excellent staff, good restaurant and value for money
Each and every staff member was personable and exceeded my expectations. They were thorough during the check-in and check-out process and specific in their recommendations for traveling and dining. I felt right at home although I was far away from home. Their fitness center can use updating.
I don't like room 121!
service and facilities, frendly people
hotel, the staff, the location, everything was 100%keep up the good work.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was very nice and clean We thought the food was great! I especailly liked the free internet access. It's very useful these days.
very nice and modern hotel, new and clean, lots of facilities in the room, good menu in the restaurant, nice location by the river, nature, could rest well after a long trip
Very clean, comfortable and quiet rooms, good restaurant but the staff did not speak English so ordering was a bit tricky. Good breakfast and prompt service
I enjoyed the friendly atmosphere, the rrom was lovely, the staff very friendly and the breakfast great!
Eur 150 for this room is simply heavily overpriced.
The room was clean and cofortable. It was bit far from city.
The hotel staff was very helpful and pleasant. The morning breakfast was excellent, the rooms were clean, and the WiFi connection was really good. The room overall was fairly small as was the bathroom. The shower was also very small. Both of these are fairly common with most smaller European hotels so it wasn't unexpected.
very friendly personnel
Very nice breakfast, the room was good and clean.
