The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable and overall it is a very nice hotel. The manager failed to leave me the message that my fiancee was in the hospital. That was important information. Even though the hospital called several times to make sure that I will get the message.
nice, clean room. nice furnishings broken ice machine on our floor elevators were way too slow for us on the 25th floor wish the hotel had shuttles to nearby places like the coliseum
nice amenities. Breakfast, Bar. Spacious rooms.
Very clean room, nice complimentary breakfast offering, well priced food and cocktails at hotel bar, and friendly service. They also made sure we had a crib ready in our room for our infant prior to us arriving. Nice stay!
We chose this hotel for an extended weekend trip. The room was great as expected. The daily rate for the quality of the hotel was incredible. Free WiFi and a breakfast were a big plus. The front desk staff was exceptional. Dawn greeted me by name and made me feel welcome. The fitness center was bare bones and a microwave in the room would be nice.
Check in was delayed, the room smelled like smoke and mildew covered up by a strong cleaner. The bathroom floor was sticky. I will never stay at this hotel again!
Would have been better if they hadn't tried to repeatedly charge my card. Paid upon checking in for 2 nights. Instantly $185.00 Then at 2am on my 2nd night tried to charge me another $200.00 before I ever even checked out. Then over the next few days tried to charge me another 3 times all different amounts. Will definitely not be staying there again. Feel as though they can't be trusted with my card info
Comfortable bed, large rooms and nice breakfast with decent variety Bathroom and closet are small for such a large room.
Everything was wonderful . No complaints what' so ever .
The bed was fantastic and the setup of the room was very posh. It was small but the couch and desk specifically were placed in the corners away from the partition to give a larger sense of space. I was driving 4+ hours to Greensboro, NC and I made it to the hotel earlier than the stated check-in time of 3 PM. I called the hotel and tried to get an early check-in (the parking lot was empty so I knew it wasn't packed) for 15 minutes I was repeatedly told that was simply against regulation and I would have to wait (outside in the empty parking lot) for two hours until check-in! I eventually got them to understand and they let me check-in. The cleaning ladies were simply throwing the dirty towels and linen on the hallway floors instead of putting them in carts. The AC unit was literally the loudest thing I have heard in my life (it was clanking louder than the TV) -'and I was forced to turn it off just to get some sleep. Their menu for drinks looked promising but it really meant: bud light etc. Also someone knocked on our door at 7 AM stating they were housekeeping.
The staff was Amazing...very helpful. Comfy bed and amazing shower. What is was lacking was coffee, decent breakfast and a business center.
The room had a wonderful floor plan especially considering a several night stay. Breakfast was very nice as well and the coffee was great. Great linens, too. The only drawback to this room was the unfortunate fact that the outside of the building was being repainted and plastic was over my window. I'm sure this was done as a privacy measure but to have no view of the outside was very unpleasant. I do realize this was a temporary situation but at no point was I told in advance of this or offered another room.
Room had not been cleaned for three days! (Stayed for 8 nights) On the second night, the cleaning staff knocked on the door at 7:52 PM (yes, PM!) and asked if we needed our room cleaned. I was not dressed as I had just came out of the shower and I asked if she could give me a minute to throw on clothes and her EXACT response to me was, "I'm about to get off so I can't wait." I literally stood there in complete shock. She walked off and I hurried to put clothes on. I caught up to her in two minutes to ask for at least clean towels and she tossed them in my arms and after I said thank you, she didn't even respond. Rude front desk staff and cleaning staff! Asked for clean towels the 5th night and was told to come down and get them. When we showered the first night, we noticed that there was a stoppage in the tub causing it to flood so we had to limit our shower time until they came to fix it on our 3rd night of staying there. I thought I could stay here again when I come back in October for two weeks but NO. I will definitely never even consider it!
Comfortable bedding Bathroom wasn't clean (other guests hair in the tub and on the shower walls).
The room was very nice, and I enjoyed the breakfast selections. Also I liked the hotel location.
Very friendly staff and very clean nice place.
The room was nice. Comfortable beds. I would not describe what was offered as breakfast food. That was terrible.
- the room was spacious and comfortable - desk staff was polite and courteous - beds were very comfortable - shower/bathroom could stand some minor improvement
Friendly staff. Kitchen manager went out of her way to bring in fresh omelettes.
Very nice room and comfortable. Good breakfast. Shopping and restaurants close by. Nothing
I liked the location and the friendliness of the staff. Free WiFi was a plus! There were a bunch of ladybugs in my room.
The rooms were very nice and clean. The furniture and TV were great. No complaints at all with the room. They advertised having a hot tub, but it had recently been replaced by a gym. The gym was nice, but I was expecting a hot tub!
The staff was friendly, the rooms were extrememly clean. The breakfast was good. Staying in a hotel with young children can be stressful but this hotel is a great place to stay!!
The hotel was immaculate. Staff was courteous. Rooms were nicely appointed. Breakfast was fine. Great shower! The bed was very firm. If you need an extra firm mattress, this is the place for you. The air conditioning unit made a rattling/buzzing sound at times. However, it wasn't very loud.
All of the staff were friendly and went out of their way to make our stay great. The housekeeping staff did an awesome job!
Comfy beds, very clean, breakfast was good and items were what you expect at a free breakfast.
I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff was great! They fixed my issue very quickly. They were pleasant and helpful from the moment I got there until the second that I left. They had breakfast and a managers reception and the rooms were great! Truly made my stay great. Great value for the money. There was a little construction going on out front but it wasn't anything that was unbearable and the staff was so lovely that the construction didn't really bother me.
I like the space and utilities of the room My sink was clogged for 3 days and they chartered my card an extra night.
The price. The location. The staff. The breakfast. The bed. The bathroom (that mirror takes amazing selfies Only thing, a bigger reception area
The staff was very accommodating. The first room we were assigned was next to a louder group, and the gentleman at the front desk gladly reassigned us a new room and made sure the new one was quiet.
My girlfriend and I stayed in a standard suite for one night on our way back from a road trip. The room was fully furnished complete with a refrigerator microwave and utensils and cups. Everything was very clean, WiFi was easy to connect to and the speed was adequate. Nice flatscreen TV with showtime. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There is no pool or hotub.
Quiet great bed near everything Floor in bathroom wasn't too clean under the counter. Breakfast was so so. Better at other hotel chains of equal value.
People were super friendly & helpful. Clean. Great location. Breakfast was ok . Loved that you accepted pets with no problem! Thank you for that! WiFi was easy. Convenient to highway. Need some repairs in bathroom. Bed was hard & not too comfy. Plugs on the side of the desk didn't seem to be working.. Had to plug stuff by recliner.
The hotel was clean, staff was friendly and the wi-fi was fast for a hotel. Convenient location near lots of restaurants. The whole facility felt slapped together. The walls were thin so we could hear our neighbors clearly late into the night (and they weren't being loud). The first room we were assigned didn't have any knobs to turn down the air conditioner (in January). The fitness center was poorly maintained. The TV played a jarring musical sound when turned on and off. Breakfast was ok, but the coffee was instant, not brewed. The rooms were not laid out with modern travelers in mind. None of the outlets were in a convent place to charge devices (had to lay my phone on the floor to reach one). There was only one nightstand and lamp in between the two beds. This made it very difficult to read, watch TV or check social media on my phone without disturbing my spouse sleeping next to the table. Had to reach over her to set anything down. Overall, this hotel was mediocre at best. It's clean and safe, but not too comfortable.
Clean room, free USA Today newspaper, well lit parking lot. No bedbugs! Free breakfast was so-so.
I liked the price. I have stayed there six other times but always paid more. I didn't like the breakfast offerings.
There was a used condom wrapper in my room. Poor housekeeping. Move me to another room there the sgeets were too small for the bed they kept coming off one corner very annoying.
Pros: close to coliseum Cons: bed and pillows were so uncomfortable I couldn't sleep all night Walls are a bit thin and you can hear other people Air conditioner didn't work very well and it got stuffy
I like the upgrades and the layout of the room. The staff was friendly as well. The bed was big but not as comfortable as my own at home. The walls are thin so I.could hear the couple next door arguing.
Our room was nice and the staff was great. Only beef was the view from the window. The free breakfast was a plus. I would stay there again.
The Best Western Windsor suites is a great value for your money. We loved the continental breakfast that was provided each morning. The room was clean and spacious. The front desk staff was not very friendly or helpful. On our reservation, we reserved 2 double beds. No where did it say that this room type may not be available. When we arrived at the room, there was only one bed. When we returned to the front desk, the clerk was not helpful and told us that there was nothing that he could do. Our room was not guaranteed. No apologies. My friend and I were a bit agitated with this and more specifically the attitude of the clerk.
Everything was top notch from check-in to the evening reception and especially the made to order breakfast. My entire family enjoyed the stay.
not much Hotel needs upgrade to technology. Terrible wifi and after repeated calls to the front desk asking why the tv menu wouldn't work they finally sent a repair person who just said that they were experiencing problems. When I was checking out and explained my unhappiness with my stay all I kept hearing was "I'm sorry to hear that". Do you know how ridiculous that sounds after many times? The breakfast buffet was awful. Cold food, terrible customer service, was told it's not my job when I asked where to get a spoon since they were empty. I've stayed at Embassy Suites before but after this experience I will look for other options!
Carpets had a lot of stains. Floors at food area were sticky.
Desk staff was nice, breakfast was awesome, The AC was very quite The room was nowhere near as nice as other Embassy Suite rooms I have stayed in. The bathroom counter was super low...like way too low. The tv remote was absolutely filthy and greasy. The walls and ceiling were thin. At 1145pm I could hear the guest above us in the shower. Not just a faint rush of the water pipes, but the water splashing in the shower and the guest moving around in the shower. At 5am I woke up to hearing the guest next door urinating into his toilet and flushing. Overall the room just didn't feel very clean and I didn't feel like I had privacy due to the thin walls.
Typically stay at places that are over 100 bucks, but there wasn't any in the near by area so choice this place base on the photo's and reviews. Once I arrived at the Hotel, I was greeted by a friendly staff member, checked me in and answered all my questions and more. Once I got to the room, to my surprise, it was a nice room. There was no muggy odor and bathroom was very clean. No smelly AC and with modern decor. The Bed could be better, but once I got used to it, I was okay. A bit on the hard size but like I said, I got used to it the next night.
The building looked new. Everything was clean. The hotel was quiet. Perfect for a weekend stay. Staff was friendly and breakfast had a good selection. If recommend it. This wasn't a huge issue, but my air comditioner didn't get the room as cold as I wanted it. Again, not a huge issue.
I checked in with no problems and breakfast was good.
I loved my stay and found the rooms comfortable, clean and very nice. While I found the bed very comfortable my new husband wasnt as impressed. Also the suit had two tvs but only one worked. I didnt find this out till after our stay so I am not sure how the staff would have handled it.
I travel to the Greensboro area several times a year and have stayed at a number of hotels in the area. I looked at the reviews for Country Inn and decided to give it a try since everyone was so positive. And it was a very good stay. I was only there one night, but all was well. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. The location was great. And the breakfast was much better than some I've had at other local hotels. All in all, it was a great stay and a good price. I thought that I would be bothered by the traffic noise since the hotel is right off of Rt 40, but I didn't notice it at all once the curtains were shut. The rooms are a bit dated, nothing in particular was bothersome, but it just seems a little old.
The two different TV's. The location was perfect for parents with children attending Elon University. The staff member in the breakfast room was wonderful; very friendly and helpful. The Elon photographs used as artwork was a great touch. The mattress on the pull out couch was very uncomfortable according to my college aged child who had to sleep there. There was only decaf coffee in the room to make .I didn't really like the breakfast options. I didn't see any yogurt available.
Noon check out The TV didn't work. The staff said it usually didn't work and we needed to unplug it for 20 min and plug it back in. We did that, but it still didn't turn on. It finally turned on the next morning just before we checked out. The room was surface clean, but the carpet was old and musty and the walls and doorways were dirty. Pull out couch was uncomfortable
the TV and fridge computer access in lobby the large bed no microwave in room immature and noisy night staff computer too close to the bar and all the noise no paper copy or e-mail copy of my final bill the rainfall shower head was awkward and flooded part of bathroom
The room was clean, comfortable, and cozy. The staff was amazing. I became very ill during my stay and they did the best to accommodate me. Definitely under rated. A little hard to find.
Front desk staff was very friendly. Choice of soft or firm pillows. Beds are comfortable. Nice sitting area in room. Very reasonable rates for what you get!
THE ROOM WAS CLEAN AND THE STAFF WAS SO NICE. I LOVED EVERYTHING
IN A COMMERCIAL WORLD WHERE SO MUCH IS OVER DONE AND TOO MUCH, THE REFRESHING MINIMALIST OD THE MICROTEL WAS NICE
Nothing. It was the most disgusting hotel I've EVER stayed in! Blood splatter on the wall, stained, ripped cushions, stained ratty sheets and towels. Hasn't been upgraded-EVER! Air conditioning system full of dust and dirt, TV was a joke. my "non-smoking" room had an ashtray and the lovely smell of stale smoke.
I liked the price...the size of the room. The room was not very clean...the stool ran all night.
Cheap Dirty room, toilet ran constantly, sink didn't drain well, while second floor smelled like weed, rowdy basketball team made matters worse.
