9.3 Excellent
Pros: Inside the property was clean and safe. Staff was very friendly. Quick respond to any difficulties, for example our ac stopped suddenly and they came by to turn it back on right away without any further difficulties. Food was delivered to the room. Laundry services were done right away. Overall Well recommended to anyone who wants to see the pyramids up close without spending a fortune.
Cons: Site around the hotel was not very pleasant. Road can be noisy and perhaps even a bit scary. But you have to understand that the site around the pyramids is a bit harsh. If you can get pass that, adapt and see the beauty of the site itself, even with so many unpleasant side things you will enjoy it, trust me.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was amazing the view, the food, all the workers where very helpful and very welcoming! It’s very family oriented and you just get a feel of there culture while on vacation!
9.3 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was fantastic! The staff are so helpful and friendly and can organise anything you need. The breakfast was good and huge too! The room with en suite was good and the rooftop view of the pyramids was unbeatable. Thanks!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly, hospitable, and kind. I felt very comfortable in their hands, and they treated me very well. The rooftop has spectacular views of the pyramids and the Sphinx is right in front of you. It is truly incredible. The breakfast spread was also excellent, with many different things to try, and very large portions! I could not finish all of it, but I wish I could have! When I left too early for the breakfast for an excursion, they gave me a breakfast box which was very kind
Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: we two girls decided to stay Giza for one night because of the sun set and light show, so we booked a room here. The location is good, we can get to the kfc in one min, and the tickets office is just in front of Kfc. The roof belcony is good because we can enjoy the Pyramids under the sunshine, at the sunset, and in the evening. The breakfast is rich for us. It's bathroom is comfortable and clean. The staff is kind and gave us a little gifts when we checked in. The room's belcony is over a street, may be a little noisy for someone sensitive, but it is ok for us.I like to watch people below, to know their normal life.
Cons: the screws on the door to the belcony are loose.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: So handy to pyramids and good view from rooftop area to watch light show. Staff were amazing especially Omar who went right out of his way to help me with some flight issues. Staff were always ensuring you are happy and that I took water provided by hotel for free. The place was always being cleaned. Breakfast was great
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The crew, the wiew from the roof
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location is close to the entrance gate of Giza Pyramid. Free pick up if you book at least 2 nights. Room is clean enough and you can watch light show at night from their rooftop. They arrange the driver and car for us to Saqqara, Memphis and Dahshur with reasonable price. Staff is very helpful
Cons: The balcony was a bit dusty as it is next to the street

8.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean, had a huge bed. The bathroom was clean, and standard with shower over the bath. Only cold water which was hard since it was cold. The view was very nice from the balcony, it did have breakfast included. The owner was nice and let us sleep when we arrived early and we paid once we woke up. The property was a 5-10 min walk to the main area where there was a shop, kfc, Pizza Hut and entrance to the pyramid. Overall cheap price for this place and wasn’t too bad.
Cons: The host was a little pushy for a tour even though we were staying one night. In the room you can hear everyone talking just outside your room. There was a cute lil boy but he kept banging on our door at early hours in the morning waking us up early, and there was a lady yelling in the morning as well which was frustrating and woke us up as well. The area was noisy with a bar with a loud bass going at night and people doing karaoke really loud!!! And the area outside was smelly.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Comfy bed, nice view from the balcony, decent breakfast (bread, boiled egg, coffee).
Cons: A bit hard to find as there are no signs, had to ask the people on the street and call the owner.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location, beautiful view of the pyramids from our balcony and very affordable price ! Plus the staff are amazing. Zac and his family really made us feel at home and always ready to help at any moment. I would highly recommend staying at Pyramids Power Inn.
Cons: As it is next to a mosque/street it can be a little loud early in the morning but the location is so great it didn’t bother me too much.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We don’t even know where to start. This accommodation is ideal to escape the madness of Cairo and to appreciate more the local culture (the surroundings are very interesting and we enjoyed it a lot!). There are several cheap and delicious places to eat nearby, Ubers can take you to the city center for US$3 - US$6 and the entrance to the Pyramids of Giza are only 8 minutes away on foot! Our experience at the Pyramids Power Inn was simply amazing! It has a beautiful view from the terrace (really really magic), the air conditioning works perfectly and it includes a delicious breakfast! Most important to mention is the fact that the best of our experience was Jak, the best host we have ever had! He always received us with a smile, a cup of tea and even we watched together the finals of the African Cup. He always made us feel like home. We strongly recommend this place! Don’t think about it too much and just book it, you won’t regret ❤️
Cons: Nothing, everything was perfect.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good Breakfast, friendly family. View to the Giza plateau at 300 steps to the entrance. Mr. Zac was always watching over us and made all wishes possible. Every evening free Pyramids Light and Sound from the terrace.
Cons: The Neighborhood is old Cairo style forgotten by the government.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great view from the room, very close to the pyramids complex.
Cons: None
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The host was extraordinarily welcoming and helpful, offering suggestions and arranging tours. Breakfast was delicious and ample each day. The guest house is comfortable, the room was very large and well furnished. The view from the balcony is perfect for watching sunsets over Giza pyramids.
Cons: Few amenities in the immediate vicinity. Street noise until very late at night. Construction work in progress on the floor above.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Property manager was really social and really helpful (but not annoying!!). You get an excellent view of the pyramids of Giza from the shared balcony. Room size is very spacious, and very comfortable. Designed exactly as Egyptian bedrooms are which is a plus if you have never lived in such.
Cons: Just outside the guesthouse, horses, camels, quad bikes - with constant harassment for tours to Giza pyramids. The smell of horse and camel dung does not allow for a very comfortable stroll around. This is at no fault to the owner of the location
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner make your travel easier
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Mr. Zak and his family were very welcoming! We felt like our family was waiting for us at the end of the night. He took care of us and always assured we didn’t need anything. The location was great, beautiful view of the pyramids, we didn’t have any issues getting an uber there. Our bedroom was big so we had plenty of space for our things. The room and bathroom were clean. We had our own door to the terrace, which was very nice.
Cons: Everything was great.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: I was contacted by the lovely property owner, Adel. Unfortunately, the property, overlook inn, had some renovations and I had to stayed in another one of Adels property located behind the site that I booked. In an honest review, the second property was nice and clean. The second property had a view of the Pyramids and The Sphinx. The staff was lovely, and I enjoyed my stay at the second property. The staff services was exceptional!
Cons: Unfortunately, I booked the original property because of the direct view to the Sphinx. I did not have the direct view at the other property. Although, things happen and Adel and his staff were very accommodating, it would have been nice to be on the property that I booked. It would have also been nice to have been contacted sooner, so that I could possibly reserve a room at another location with the view I anticipated. Again, Adel and his staff were lovely and this review does not take away from the service offered.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Abel and Osama are great hosts. A person is always in site for anything you might need. The food is very delicious. Breakfast is a variety of local food. Big portions are served. For dinner, you can order food that will be brought from a nearby restaurant and its very tasty. The view from the terrace is magical. From the terrace, you basically faced the Sphinx and can see the pyramids. You have breakfast and dinner with that view. Very close. It's a very special location. The neighborhood itself is not very appealing, but so it's most of Giza. Streets are chaotic and dusty. The place was kept clean and neat always. Beds were comfortable. The toilet was clean. Arranged pick up to the airport was smooth and good service.
Cons: The toilet doesn't have a wooden or normal door. Instead is like a sliding panel. The water from the w.c. tank sometimes will keep running water. This was a bit noisy. Lack of fruit for breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location next to pyramids. Outstanding hospitality from Adel and his staff. One of the stays that will truly be remembered. Excellent food freshly prepared.
Cons: Nothing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The very best location in all of Egypt
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Adel is a great host, the terrace is really amazing, just in front of sphynx and pyramids. We suggest to have breackfast there, a complete selection of tipical egyptian food. Extremelly recommended !!!
Cons: The mattres can be better.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The pictures don’t do it justice! It was an excellent and breathtaking location!! Adel and his staff went above and beyond to ensure my family had an amazing time!! They were attentive from the time we arrived to the time we left. I cannot recommend this place enough as being here has absolutely changed my life..our lives for the better!! If you want a place to stay in Egypt..please book with them!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I have stayed in hundreds of Hotels and guesthouses over the years and this was by far the BEST place i have ever stayed. Adel, the owner, is one of the most fascinating and knowledgeable persons i have ever met and made me feel at home from the time i arrived to the very end of my stay. He is a very gentle and beautiful man and he is accompanied by two very friendly, kind, funny, and amazing staff members named Hamada and Osama which made me feel like family also. Adel organised all my tours and airport transfers and i never had to worry about organising anything. I unfortunately only spent 3 nights here but felt as if i had been staying there for months as it felt like home. The view is spectacular from the terrace (Sphinx and pyramids only a few hundred metres away) and you can eat your dinner whilst watching the sphinx and pyramids light show which is incredible. The breakfast was amazing. The rooms are perfect with great bathrooms and comfortable beds. I will be recommending this Inn to many of my friends and family back home and I recommend it to anyone who wants a very delightful stay in Egypt. Thankyou Pyramids Overlook Inn for a magnificent time :) Ivan
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The friendly owner Adel and the magnificent view of the Pyramids and the Sphinx from the terrace.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Close to pyramid Staff is nice Breakfast is good Please bring your cash because if you use credit card, 5% extra will be charged.
Cons: Don’t buy tour here When we buy the tour to Abu Simbel, Adel wrote down $45/person including car and guild, I trusted him and bought the tour even I knew I can find cheaper prices from other agent. However, we only had the driver and no guild in the end. We also bought a tour for Luxor, when we asked Adel how long we can have the driver and tour guide, he mentioned as long as we want, and even wrote down 3pm is fine. however when we were in the king valley, they pushed us to end our trip 2pm and if we didn’t, we need to pay extra. When I contacted Adel, he said i need to pay him more if we want to stay longer. I am really sad and disappointed because I really trusted him at first, but he is only a business man like others. The bathroom is small and easy to get wet. We only get one key for the triple room, if we ask another key to open the door, they ask for tips. 請大家不要再住這間了,去市區找個五星飯店吧,錢不會差太多 住這是我整個埃及行最後悔的一件事

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The cleanliness, the staff friendliness and willing to help at anytime ... 24 hour concierge and help.
Cons: Showers didn’t have an enclosing screen, so I made a mess and wet The Who bathroom every time I showered.

Pros: It was great, the staff super friendly, the location is on point and they had great great service! My husband and I stayed for one night and we loved it
7.5 Good
Pros: This hotel is all about the view. Enjoy the sun set over the pyramids and then the light show, while sipping a cold beer.
Cons: The lift did not work and the internet was very weak.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Giza is the best spot for a couple of days exploring the pyramids, especially die to the amazing location of this hotel right across the road from the ticket entrance and a prime view of the sound and light show (watch for free!) The staff were very accommodating and the service very prompt and personal which was great. I really recommend finding a spot on the roof terrace!
Cons: It can be expensive to travel to the city area, so I recommend Uber rather than being disappointed by battering taxi drivers.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view it’s amazing, the place is really clean and the staff is really nice and it’s always asking you how you are and everything, it’s a great place to stay
Cons: Everything perfect
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We really had a great time in Great pyramid inn. the staff there welcomed us with a big smile and hospitality especialy dina :) She always tried to accommodate with the best she can do. The view from the rooftop was incredible! Will recommend this place to my friends for sure!!
Cons: Nothing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The location of the property. We had a view of the Pyramids from our room and we were able to watch the light and sound show from the hotel's restaurant. The look and feel of the property was very Egyptian and we liked that very much.
Cons: The lift didn't work and they were slow to repair things. For example the towel rail fell off on day one and it was not repaired in the four days we were there. The shower was missing a segment of the screen. But despite this we had a very enjoyable stay and these few things really didn't matter given the price we paid.

Pros: > excellent hosting by Farouk Mohamend who personally organized great tours on Spanish in Cairo as well as Luxor > all support given including transportation from/to airport inxluding Cairo and Luxor even not staying at his hotel > very kind staff > excellent location; direct view at rhw pyramids from terrace perfect to start and end the day > his tour guides were very well, Local and spanish speakers with tour guide certification and friendly > I would stay again but more facilities with owner are available in Cairo and Luxor
Cons: > rooms require some maintenance but in balance with other support that was not an issue
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The terrace has a spectacular view. I only stayed a short time but the staff stored my luggage and helped to bring it up and down the stairs. The room is close to many things in a tourist area so you can walk. They did not push us to join their tours but offered professionally, and offered assistance for activities.
Cons: Street is busy and vendors will push you to see their shops. But this is normal in the area.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Mr. Farrag 's place was like home during our stay in egypt. More than the place, it's the hospitality, warmth and the kindness of the owner that stands out. He upgraded our accommodation with no extra cost and went out of his way to offer food as shops were close because it was ramadan season. His staff are just too willing to offer help anytime, his driver mr. Abdullah is a very friendly and reliable guy who bought the best shawarma for us with his own money! He acts as our photographer too as he has good photography skills! Mr. Farrag is a very good host, the type of guy who would never take advantage of his guests. The place doesn't only give you one of the best views of the pyramids but it will give you a heartwarming place to stay in Giza! And don't forget to try their delicious brewed coffee! Thank you Mr. Farrag for being a friend and for a memorable stay at your inn!

Pros: Location was the best. Restaurant by the pool was good. Needs better spa facilities, but the pool was great.
Cons: Working on the restaurant near the front desk - closed now.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lush landscaped gardens, seating areas in the gardens.
Cons: Expensive food wise.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: In front of the pyramids
Cons: Everything was wonderful
4.5 Okay
Pros: Breakfast open buffet The Garden/Pyramids view
Cons: The Room was not up to the standard. The toilet flush wasn't working well. A 4 stars hotel outside Egypt would have been better.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Right next to pyramids
Cons: Toilet pressure wasn't very strong
5.5 Okay
Pros: Breakfast amazing and people working there absolutely great
Cons: Receptionist not give no one info about people outside of hotel that in aggressive way stop you when you go to pyramids. cost request for taxi is 65$ for airport to there ( better take taxi or uber much better, as I did). They left 2 time the cleaning product in my bed, they not refill coffee everyday in room. No food absolutely poor for 5 stars hotel (around there are 3 restaurants much better and cheaper). They promise room with view and we waited 54 min for room. We asked and room was without view.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Location, and Service
Cons: It’s Egypt sooooo yeah there’s a ton of people trying to take advantage of you, some work for the hotel most wait just outside the gate
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great view of the pyramids and very friendly staff
Cons: Little bit far from the airport, about 1 to 1.5 hour by car from airport
4.5 Okay
Pros: The restaurants.
Cons: The staff members. A package was trying to be delivered to the hotel that I was using for business purposes. Three times did they turn away the delivery guy without informing me. Once I asked them if anyone had attempted to drop off a package the answer was no, and no one was willing to look into it. Being a platinum elite member with Marriott I was honestly wondering why I invest in the chain with that type of customer service. Beyond poor, and with the feeling of the client being an inconvenience. Such a shame with a location like that.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Indian restaurant
Cons: Service at the pool
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Nice location. Very calm room when facing pyramids. Super noisy when facing the other side.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We had a really great time at Mena House Hotel. Beautiful environment, clean, quite cool for a 5 stars hôtel, feeling well with the whole family. Service is excellent, with many kind attentions (in the rooms and in general within restaurants,...). People of the hôtel are very kind. Moreover, it is a hotel with a sound history and very close to the pyramids. We definitely recommend.
Cons: Renovation of some infrastructures of the hôtel would be welcomed. Food of the restaurant is good, but perhaps could be of a higher standard.

5.8 Okay
Pros: Interesting to watch the people from the balcony. The room was fairly clean other than the sewage backing up in the bathroom. Frige was cold.
Cons: NO internet. Sewage backup. Verv little support. We were on our own after 5 minutes of speaking with an english speaking person. Nobody told us how to turn on the AC we finally found a funny switch on a opposite wall. A small breakfast. If you're not an experienced traveler find another place with some support. No hot water kettle.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Eslam, the manager/owner, was always available to assist in many was -- getting taxi/guide help for trips to other areas of interest, background information about the area, restaurants, ATMs, and always there to take care of all other concerns or questions. He tried hard to make sure my stay was positive, and succeeded. Security is always high on my list, and this stay was very secure. I purposely took a side trip to Alexandria by train, and left my suitcase behind in my room, and had absolutely no issues. Outside, police were there to make sure the area was safe. Also had a rooftop area for guests to view the pyramids, and enjoy the evening air. Many pluses here!
Cons: The only negative was not the fault of the hotel or staff. The outside noise sometimes bothered me, but turning on the AC usually took care of that. The area attracts thousands to one of the major wonders of the world during the day, but calms down at night. I could see the pyramids from my balcony and overall this choice was a good one.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: One of the best places in the whole world with the view of great Egyptian Pyramids - you literally can't stay any closer to them than here. Very friendly staff; good and cheap restaurant with open terrace upstairs; many restaurants and supermarkets in 20-100 metres from hotel. You are made to feel yourself welcome here - and the place is very budget-friendly as well. Full bathroom with hot tub; good WiFi; complimentary breakfast; balcony with Pyramids view, comfy bed - what else would you like to get?
10.0 Excellent
Pros: That was my second stay in Cheops Pyramids Inn, and sure I will be back. First of all I want to mention owner of the place, he is very friendly and helpful person, who will try to resolve any issue. Second, view from the rooftop of the place. Really amazing, also the have small gym with the view on pyramids! It's The best value for money in Giza.
Cons: -
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location is great - has a terrace with the view of the pyramids. Extra helpful hotel administrator which gave us very valuable tips about the neighborhood - cheap and tasty food places, supermarket etc. Good price performance.
Cons: Strange entrance to the hotel which has rooms on the 3rd floor.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great value for money The room was clean and spacious Great aircon and balcony Bath was appreciated Host was amazing and helpful - he replied to everything with "as you like!" Dinner upstairs was massive and relatively cheap Very close to the pyramids entrance Can watch the light show from your room Would only ever stay here..sending my mum here when she arrives in 3 months knowing she'll be safe and well cared for!
Cons: That I couldn't stay longer! And a bit far from the museum..but for daily views of the pyramids its nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Unforgettable stay. Unbeatable location right next to the pyramids. Beautiful and very clean rooms, cozy, charming, with everything you need and a beautiful balcony with spectacular views of the pyramids. Free tea and coffee. Very good breakfast. The area is authentic and genuine. The staff friendly, in particular we want to thank Eslam for his help with everything, with excursions, taxis, information etc. and for his sympathy and exquisite education. I strongly recommend reserving everything through it, it is reliable and more economical. We will definitely return to the same hotel and recommend it to anyone who wants to experience the magic of the necropolis of Giza ... (I recommend that you travel to Egypt on your own and not so much by agencies, that you appreciate the hotels and local services so that the wealth generated by tourism will revert to the egyptian people)
Cons: Nothing, We liked everything.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice view of the Pyramids
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner, Eslam, is very kind and will never push to sell you tours. He is a good man and works very hard to ensure that your stay is comfortable. The free Egyptian breakfast was delicious and fresh. The staff were so friendly and happy to talk with you. The view of the pyramids is spectacular and you can see the ticket booth from your room. 7.5 Good
Pros: Pool is fantastic, pool guys, bar staff are all amazing round the pool and couldn't do enough to help you, was really really good.food eaten at the pool bar was also great.
Cons: Rooms, although they were old , which is Ok, I get that ( for the price ) , but the bathroom was not clean. ( I wiped a mark of the wall while on the loo to see if it was dirt, and it came off ) Rooms are old and tired, need a refurb, even if just being painted to get rid of the squashed mozzie marks. Bathrooms very old and need more than tlc. The fact that there was 2 weddings in the hotel didn't help, as we went for a quiet relaxing time, and we didn't get it. No cold water in the shower, and Ac wasn't very good
8.0 Excellent
Pros: I can see why this used to be 5 stars. Big complex surrounding a humongous pool, resort style. Much better than other 4 stars. Like everything in Egypt right now, they could improve on cleaningness. It is really details. The bed sheets were very good. The room was ample. Furniture a little dated, but in good shape (old tv though). The breakfast was very plentiful and varied. Even the restaurant, La pagoda, has good food at surprisingly good prices (same as eating in a fast food chain outside). I would just start an education campaign with the staff to see details, like a dead mosquito here, a dirt stain in a wall, things that can be solved with more attention rather than money, or somebody with a brush and some paint, to restore the previous glory. But again, saw this in all the four stars I stayed. They need my maid --an OCD machine--, or somebody like her that can "see", and these places will be back in their glory. Overall, a good stay.

Cons: No
9.3 Excellent
Pros: I loved the man at the front desk, Eslam. He is such a sweetheart. I arrived around midnight and he was still there. He carried my luggage all the way up to the fourth floor and then took me to see the view from the balcony. He gave me his number right away just in case I needed anything ever to not hesitate to call or message. He is able to book any tour you may need. Being that i am a female solo traveler, it was nice to have a contact I could trust in the country in case I needed it. On my last day in Cairo, I fell very sick. I got tonsillitis and was in bed with a very high fever all day. I texted Eslam to help me and he was able to right away. I asked for fever reducers and water and he had that delivered promptly. When I was able to get up, I was starving and asked for breakfast, and the hotel staff made me breakfast right away. And at night when I wasn’t getting better, Eslam sent for antibiotics for me at the pharmacy and asked if I was ok enough to go get a shot as it would make me feel better. I’m so thankful to the staff here for helping me get over my illness. I was far from home and alone and I’m happy I had someone helping take care of me when I couldn’t do it myself. Thank you all.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: The place was quiet, peaceful, and I was not disturbed as I have requested. They have provided breakfast in bed which was quite pampering for me. The food was okay. I just wish they would have provided toiletries without me asking.
Cons: Nothing, the place was exactly as I have imagined.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The view is absolutely incredible!! The staff are friendly and available to answer questions. Breakfast was included (although was very basic). Water was given to us for free throughout our stay. There is a driver available. The room was clean and had everything we needed. It is close enough to downtown Cairo to go there in the evenings (20-30 mins with Uber)
Cons: Although the location is excellent in its proximity to the pyramids, the surrounding area doesn’t feel safe. We were two young females and felt we couldn’t dine in the local area. Although staff were always available, we at times felt pressured to purchase their deals, including guides, a nile cruise and camel rides. We appreciate that other guests may find this useful. The guide they provided was lovely, but we felt rushed around the sites despite splitting the 1 day trip into 2 days. The price of the driver is steeper than using uber but for this the driver sticks around whilst you visit the sites. We were keen to see the pyramids again on the last day but due to using a driver from the hotel (which turned out to be the manger) we were rushed around again because he assumed we were just there for photos. Again, this might appeal to other guests. The wifi was temperamental.
