There wa few issues with our room, such as electrical problem & friendliness of the hotel staff at the beginning, however, by day two everything just worked out fine and we had a good time.
Everything is wonderfull! Room, breakfast, viewside...
rooms were clean, staff was friendly, breakfast was good and facilities were good very very difficult to find when driving and its so big that its like a mze
Nice and spacious room, bathroom, nice buffet, the pool is nice and clean with its bar restaurant, large resort, good destination for relaxing. A nice hotel for familly and kids. Almost only italian channels, no international channels (one euronews, one german and one spanish). In the minibar, ONLY bottles of water...4 stars hotel. Almost 10 to 15 minutes from the center of Olbia, 20 euros each way. The spa and the fitness aeara do not belong to the hotel, it's private, so the access to the gym is not for free and it's not open everyday!!! Be careful. Almost 30 minutes to reach Porto Cervo, 100 Euros by taxi each way.
The hotel is perfectly located on a beautiful, white sanded, clean beach. Views, are stunning – turquoise, crystal clear see & dramatic mountains! The personnel was friendly & professional, and ever so happy to make our stay most comfortable. We will definitely return to this hotel & take our friends with us. We couldn't find anything to complain.
The convenience of being right on a very nice beach
Good breakfast, nice view, not far from Costa Smeralda beaches We ordered triple room, but got a double with a folding bed. After a claim, they gave us an extra room, but in conversation, it became clear that there is misunderstanding between a triple room and a room where three persons can physically accommodate. Another not pleasant thing was extremely strong smell of detergents for cleaning. People with any allergy have to avoid this hotel. We kept open windows during all stay to reduce this smell of chemicals. Outdoor pools are good for little kids (1m depth) or for very good swimmers (3.5m depth). The sea (private beach) near the hotel is not for swimming, as the depth is about 70cm even if you go approximately 50 meters into the sea. No sport activities for older children
Staff, facilities, room & service all excellent More choice of fresh fruit at breakfast would be welcome i.e. melon, grapes!
kind hotel staff, location just in front of beautiful sea
The view and relaxed athmoshere, not as stuck up as some places in the Costa Esmeralda can be no
Breakfast, Excellent Food, Staff very friendly A bit noisy in the morning
The hotel location by the beach, the service and food was excellent. All was great.
It certainly matches it's rating as a 4 star hotel. Friendly staff, excellent food and a lovely pool. I would recommend that you drive to Marinella for a beautiful beach and free parking. After staying in the Costa Smeralda we were a little dissapointed in Golfo Aranci as a location. However, there are many facilities in the town and a night market outside the hotel.
Very nice hotel overall. Great pool and friendly staff, good breakfast. A little overpriced.
very nice personal, clean room with beautifill garden and see view, change towels twice a day,TV with many canals, good kitchen, very quiet. To the port or to the airport Olbia can go by train,kost2.35 hotel dont have own beach, have to go 200m to pablic beach where pay 16euro for 2 bads and umbrella
The staff were very helpful and friendly,at any time of day or night. It was great to just cross the road to the beach. The jacuzzi didn't work when we tried it,and both this and the pool could be a bit warmer. The movie channel only had subtitles in Italian for Apocalypto, which had advertised the English format.Other than that, everything else was fine.
Very friendly people. Great boat trip! Nice swiming pool. No private beach. Elevator under construction. Construction site in front of the hotel. Pretty hard to find because of the construction site.
Service We had to look for information
Very friendly staff. Nice location.
I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere at the hotel and the simplicity of it's decor, The staff, particularly Inge, were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Our spa/jacuzzi pool made our stay that little bit more special. Although the breakfast was of a good quality, a little more choice of hot food would be preferable.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Margherita. Excellent gardens and pool area. Great sea/mountain views from our balcony. First class.
The pool and jacuzzi were excellent. The staff were really helpful particularly the head waiter Salvatorio. The hotel was in an excellent location for restaurants and shops as well as the beach. The area was not too touristy and very Sardinian - Ideal for a honeymoon. The beach is a little further away than expected and the evening market is on the doorstep and so can be a bit noisy.
Wish to stay longer not just 1 night. Great room, food, wine, pool, staff, design...very close to airport. There should be another anotherone somewhere just on the beach
Great restaurant !!, easy access to the airport, friendly staff only relevant as airport hotel
The whole experience although only for one night was superb. We chose it because of proximity to the airport for an early morning flight but much appreciated the high standard of the restaurant, the comfort of the rooms and the smart pool and sun terrace. The staff were extremely helpful. And it represented excellent value for money No
Swimming pool, restaurant, room, service, staff, luxury, cleaness, friendlyness no
The best hotel out of the 100 or so I have stayed in the past 2 years. Restaurant has amazing chef: almost the only hotel restaurant I would completely recommend. Free fast internet in all rooms, clean, nice pool, fitness centre, sauna, superb staff (allowed an 8pm checkout for no extra charge, and lots of other help), stylish, and has only been built 3 months ago. So good, we are making a trip to go back to the Jazz Hotel.
great hotel. We felt at home when we walked in the door and the staff were all excellent from front desk to maid to restaurant staff. Also, lovely view. Great location too for anyone flying out
The hotel was very modern in design and facilities. Very comfortable
Very modern, walking distance from airport, Sky TV, good breakfast
the food at the hotel restaurant, staff courtesy and efficiency, location, excellent beach
I really enjoyed my stay. The staff and facilities were great and locaton was superb. I would stay again. The air conditioning wasn't cool enough.
There was only one restaurant for dinner and lunch and the price was extremely high 50 euros each for set menu, plus wine was also highly priced. As we had a car we sought outside restaurant. I do not think this hotel is suitable for children because of the "food" available although the situation was superb, right on the beach. More suited to adults. Hope this helps. maybe a better deal if you booked Half Board
Within walking distance along the shore of a nice local port with a reasonably priced restaurants. No.
More info in English would have great regarding excursions and nearby hiking, walking, sights.
Excellent courteous staff . Using English was not a problem as many staff members spoke English..Comfortable accommodations. Excellent food and service.
the beach Poor reception halls, the service of the staff not very good.
The beach. A second room we stayed which was on the ground floor. We could directly walk through our garden to the beach (2min walk). The first room we stayed was very far from the beach and it had a terrace with high wall, it means we didn't have a view from our room. Restaurant was average. It could be much better.
Beach, rooms No swimming pool without advising before, no fitness centre, no maps about the island, some hairs in the bathroom
Outstanding position on the Emerald Coast. Outstanding staff for courtesy and availability. Excellent restaurant, very romantic and with high quality food Unfair quality/cost for a snack (sandwich 20€ + small beer 10€)
Beautiful rooms and very polite staff. Breakfast provided a wide choice of food. The restaurant was extremely expensive. The "private beach" was really just a small patch of land that had been covered in sand - very artificial and not really a place to spend much time sunbathing.
no menu at the restaurant, meals and prices created by the owner - quite confusing. air conditioner in one of the houses produced not only cold air but also a lot of stench. hard to find the hotel.
Very personal service
close to the airport (15 mns), comfortable room, friendly staff, swimming pool dinner a bit exansive, bed not very good
very peaceful location.Perfect for relaxing and getting away from everyday life.We had pool to ourselves nearly everyday.Mixing with the resident wildlife, peacocks, dogs, ducks, horse etc.Car is essential if you want to tour the area as no transport nearby and taxis very expensive.very little english spoken so a phrase book is a good thing to consider. No information pack about the hotel eg meal times etc also places to visit locally and transport information.
The hotel is very designed and creates an immediate sense of luxury. There is almost a 360° view and a wonderful infinity pool. It is very beautiful. Free internet access was always available. The approach to the hotel is so steep that it would have been impossible to push a wheelchair up (and probably even down) it. The shuttle service to the beach is therefore very necessary. The menu was very limited for vegans and even vegetarians. The dish which appealed most, failed to be available all the 3 days I stayed there.
The view was great. The location meant that you had to have a car but it was well situated for touring the northern areas of Sardinia. The breakfast was good although it would have been nice to have some hot choices, The acyual pool was great. The hotel was isolated so you had to drive to a restaurant in the evening, The menu at the hotel was very limited and somewhat boring. The area around the pool needs some attention. There wre holes in the grille around it and the loungers were falling apart.
Lovely hotel , great pool
Good location if you have car
Attitude of the staff, general ambiance, details, a general feeling of a very pleasant accomodation unavailability of adslconnection in the wonderful suite where we were staying
The pool area and view is very nice and the cleaning staff was very sweet and did a superb job. The reception staff was less service minded and had trouble answering questions about sinmple things. The restaurant was living in the past with boring food and a uniformed staff which was kind and professional and couldn't be blamed for the quality of the food. Get a new contemporary menu and a ambitious head chef and this could be a magnificant restaurant.....
The pool was lovely, infinity pool with a gorgeous view out to the sea and over the bay.Very peaceful and Quiet. Restaurant had a large selection for dinner. Really fresh barbequed fish. Could have better service, lacked attention to detail. Helpful staff when you asked but found you always had to ask for information. We had to work out most stuff for ourself - restaurants times, towels, shuttle bus to beach. No shuttle into town like it says on website, we had to get taxis which worked out very expensive for a relatively short journey.
Where do I begin.. The staff were fantastic. Always friendly and willing and able to help out. Breakfast was great -- plenty of food, great variety. It is Italy therefore you will get an Italian breakfast as opposed to an English or an American breakfast or a Caribbean resort type breakfast. The pool and the view are breathtaking. The shuttle to/from the airport and the beach were a very nice touch and helpful. It is a 5 minute drive to the beach and the driver was always punctual. My room was a nice size and spotless. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the service was fantastic. There is public transportation to the city centre and Porto Rotundo. Just ask the front desk and they will provide you with the bus schedule. Excellent!
Staff very pleasant, and helpful, room was a good size, pleanty of towles and spare bedding Furniture in seating area uncomfortable, very difficult to get afternoon refreshments as there was rarly any staff serving in the bar and you had to knock the counter and half the time they didn't come,it appeared the hotel was closing down for the season ,so we were amazed they stay open all year, our room although adequate when we arrived had a very bad smell, also the toilet needed a good bleaching, and our room although on the 1st floor wasn't made up untill late in the afternoon, so any afternoon siesta was out of the question.we also found that there was not enough meat served in the restaurant, although various meats were on the menue it had to be shared by 2, 3,or 5 people, ummmmm bit stuck if there's only 2 of you.we felt the pool was in a unkempt state of repair with all the broken patio slabs.also as we are none smokers we found the level of cigarrette buts around the pool not pleasant at all.
Foxtel and the ability to watch something in the english language
The Hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, a good value for money, the cookies on the arrival, parking space. The breakfast recepcionist didn't speak anything but Italian, which i think is really bad when you work in a Hotel. We paid for a room with view, and the only possible view from the Hotel is the highway...
the swimming pool, gakuzzi, the matress and the pillows the personel
The Hotel had 50% good staff and 50% poor Staff were not always professional and helpful
The hotel is really nice and very well kept. Front Desk staff are very friendly and helpful. The welcome cookie is a nice idea! The pool and jacuzzi are great and the seating around the pool is great for relaxing.
Very quiet location, excellent sized rooms with balcony, good breakfasts and extremely helpful staff Need to have a car to go to the city center and anywhere else as public transports are not plenty around the island
