Pros: Everything was super cool. The rooms are clean and pleasantly scented, the glass-walled bathroom is very decorative and makes the room more spacious. The beds are comfortable, the balcony is very good for chatting in the evenings. The staff is very kind and helpful, the breakfast choice is great, the food is delicious, the coffee is very good. Dinner consisted of real gourmet dishes. The whole building is very pleasant, located in a beautiful park in the immediate vicinity of the stalactite cave.

Pros: We stayed there without breakfast. The room was OK, everything was clean and friendly. The receptionists were helpful and nice. There were a garage, freestyle of charge which was very useful, as it was raining.

Pros: The room smells really good like fresh cut woods. Bedsheets are already placed in the mattress. All I have to do us lay down. It’s very very very clean. I feel like I’m in a five star hotel. The receptionist male name Timothy was very hospitable. I feel like I’m home in California this is due to the guy named Tim P.The cleanest of all the cleaness place I ever been. The receptionist lady was so nice to me as well ( day shift). The place is immaculate. There are utensils in this place. Towels and hair dryer are available upon request free of charge. I will be coming back. This place deserved a very high rating. The cleanliness is the best and of course the workers too.

Pros: They put me on a floor away from the school group, so that the noise was dimmed a little. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Although not the usual type of hostel I would stay in, it was a nice stay for one night.
Cons: This is the only hostel in town, so the only option I had. Because it is a big youth hostel, you get quite few school groups that can be noisy in the evenings and early mornings. I liked that they seemed to make an effort to separate those travelling solo from these school groups. While I was in the bathroom getting ready (luckily I was already dressed), a man came in to check the light and take care if some general maintenance. I thought it was a little inappropriate that he just came into the women's bathroom without a warning.

Pros: Our room at Sweet Dreams Apartments was lovely and clean, and modern yet they are in an older building in a quiet neighborhood. It is conveniently located for touring the local caves and Predjama castle. Rebecca welcomed us and provided some great recommendations.

Pros: We really liked how comfortable and clean the room was and we had a great nights sleep. Our hosts gave us a superb breakfast including home made jams and honey flower tea. Boris gave us great advice on restaurants. He even drove us to Predjama Castle when we had a great chat about Slovenia.

Pros: The room and bathroom are very clean. The free parking place in front of the house is very comfortable. The breakfast was good especially the homemade jams and tea! but the hams and cheese were noting special and not too much and was no vegetables only some decor but if someone likes the sweet breakfast it is good.
Cons: Really old and sour smell towels. The cover of the matresses was also very bad smell.

Pros: Super nice and helpful hosts! Very pleasant place to stay with clean, warm and tidy modern room. Great location with free car parking in the front yard downstairs. Within 10 mins walking distance to many supermarkets or restaurants nearby. 1.5km to the Postojna caves. Thanks to the host's recommendation, we had a wonderful delicious dinner at Restaurant and Pizzeria ČUK and surprisingly the price was comparatively cheaper.... many thanks to the excellent host Boris who made our trip more enjoyable. Would love to stay here again, highly recommend this place to all who are coming to stay in Postojna.

Pros: The room was very clean and tidy, with a boiler and coffee/tea so that it was very convenient to have a hot beverage while staying in the room. Andreas was very nice and lent us his 2 bikes for one day, so we could go visit the Cerknica lake. We could use the washing machine with an extra fee. The house is 5 minutes from Postojna bus stop, and Andreas waited for us there.

Pros: Room is very cute, lovely decorated - with heart & soul, and with everything you need. Close to the bus station and city center, and Postojna caves as well (its rather small town) Definitely best stay during the trip, would recommend and wish to come back again! And these are not empty words, as I couldn't visit Predja a castle this time, so I would plan the next trip)

Pros: We have stayed only for a night in this apartment traveling to Italy. It has great location. The owners are always with a smile on their faces and ready to help you. The apartment is very clean and there is a common dinning room where you can have a your lunch .

Pros: The host was really friendly, and other than the welcome drink, he would offer us sandwiches for the day ahead, and presented us with a HUGE breakfast, with almost a limitless supply of things at very little cost (all the children ate for free, and we only paid 5 euro each)! The apartment was very spacious and had everything that we needed. There is a nice restaurant only a 2 minute walk away, and the Postojna caves are a short drive away.

Pros: This guesthouse is run by a very friendly family. The rooms are absolutely clean with comfortable beds. They prepare each morning an extensive breakfast. When you need advice, to visit a certain spot, they help your where they can. They have also good suggestions for restaurants in the neighbourhood. On arrival, your host offers you a schnaps!

Pros: The hospitality of the owner exceeded our expectations. The breakfast is a MUST! Beautifully presented, delicious and made from local ingredients. Great selection of meat cuts, fruits, vegetables, eggs, cereals, home made jams. You can't go wrong for 5 Euros and they don't charge for kids! This was a best breakfast we had during our 17 days trip!

Pros: -Owners are so helpful and friendly! They made a big difference with their kindness in this little B&B! -the breakfast is a must! For €5 you get a brunch! -good shower -there is a good restaurant within 5min walk. A A place that you wouldnt give value but that nicely overcame expectations! And also another restaurant next to an aerodrom within 5min car drive. Both very nice.

Pros: Lovely large room with two large double beds. Good bathroom and shower. Modern decor. Spotlessly clean. We paid extra for breakfast which was great for setting us up for the day. Tea and coffee making facilities were available too. Perfect base for local sights and travelling further. But have to say our all too brief stay was made special by the warm hospitality and welcome from Alenka and Branko. Nothing was too much bother. A perfect introduction to Slovenia. We sincerely hope to return soon.

Pros: The breakfast was very good. The location was wonderful. The staff was very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.
Cons: The bed was way too hard for us, but some people like a firm mattress.

Pros: Fantastic value and literally next to Predjama castle. Meals are available in the restaurant aswell. I doubt there is a better option in tge vicinity of Postona.
Cons: The rooms are part of a converted section upstairs. The room itself was good, but the wall to the neighbouring room was a bit thin. Much of the noise from that room was audible, including the snoring.

Pros: Nice clean room, with excellent breakfast included, located right next to Predjama Castle at a very reasonable price. Staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English. Had dinner at the restaurant and it was good at a reasonable price.
Cons: Parking was difficult due to location right next to the Castle.

Pros: Very convenient location- tourist info and central square riybd the corner, cave 10 mins walk. Bus station close, train station 20 mins walk. Staff kindly met me at the station as I had a heavy bag. Fridge in room.
Cons: Banging my legs on the wooden corner of the bed squezzing between that and the cornerof the table, Stools, not chairs. Double bed in a single-sized room

Pros: Nice, clean room in a perfect location. Just around the corner from the main square and three cafes as well as the information office. Nice big screen TV with a very good selection of channels from various countries. Hostess/manager was very helpful and flexible as I had some issues with timing and she was very accommodating.
Cons: The room (and the bathroom) are very, very small. It's hard to get around. Also the room is right up to a very busy road, so there is always the noise of traffic and noises from other rooms.

Pros: The accommodation is in very easy walking distance from the bus station and to the caves. You will not find nicer hosts. We really enjoyed our stay and the new connections made. We will return when next in Slovenia.
Cons: Our room was a little small but fine for an overnight stay. The gorgeous hosts made up for that in spades!!!!

Pros: The room is small but adequate and clean and the guesthouse is in a great location to walk to the village, hilltop above the village, and caves. I appreciated the welcome drink. It is solid value for the money.
Cons: There was little to not recommend ELG.

Pros: The location is perfect, super close to the entrance of the Postojna Caves! And right next to a lively square with an excellent restaurant for breakfast or meals.
Cons: The room is really very small, but it's also very crowded with chairs tables etc, so there's hardly even space to put your bag on the floor.

Cons: We were booking for 3 adults, 2 rooms, description stated "apartment with one bedroom with king size bed, one living room with sofa", but it turned out as just one room with beds for 3 people", luckily there was another smaller room available, but we need to pay more for it.

Pros: The Lady at the reception was extremely helpful and nice. The room and bathroom were comfortable and clean. It was silent at night so we could feel relaxed in the morning. Thank you for a very nice staying!
