8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location but older property. Room was cozy and the shower, for a hotel was great. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location by the river.
Cons: A little stuffy as no AC but they did provide a fan and you could open windows. We stayed in the old lodge building. Neat room and building
7.0 Good
Pros: Listening to the river at night.
Cons: The shower set up was not ideal. If you are tall or bigger in size, it’s not a great set up. Historic building, so it is to be expected a bit.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a full suite which would accommodate a family. Location was adjacent to a beautiful stream and one block from Main St
Cons: No breakfast offering and restaurant doesn’t open until 11 am
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Large & comfortable room, easy access to the main street, interesting & fun decor, and the historic history of the lodge. My style of travel sites.
Cons: A light on the back steps would be helpful.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The roar of the river, and the bull moose on the other shore. The short walk to town. The charm of the homey room.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Loved sleeping to the sound of the roaring rapids. Room was a little dated but very clean & neat.
Cons: Room was a little hot but it was a hot day.
6.8 Good
Pros: Beautiful location next to a stream that leads to Grand Lake, and near the main restaurants and shops in town. The bed was large and comfy.
Cons: Considering what you (don't) get, I'm surprised by how expensive this place is: - Wifi connection is almost useless - most of the time I couldn't connect from my room. - No breakfast offered. - Water pressure in the shower was weak and changed from scalding hot to freezing cold during showers. - No maid service. - No small fridge or mini bar in the room. These details wouldn't matter as much in a cheaper hotel, but I expected more for what I paid and was disappointed.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Sitting outside by the river was amazing, we could have stayed there forever.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The rapids & dinner excellent!
Cons: Bar of soap would be nice, water temp of shower & sink
8.0 Excellent
Pros: This side of RMNP was so much quieter than the east side. The town of Grand Lakes is nice. There was music on the green on Wednesday and a movie on the beach on Thurs. Nice touches.
Cons: Stand up paddle boarding on lake. Music on the green. Nearby stream fishing.

1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing
Cons: evrything
7.5 Good
Pros: Location is great walking distance to Grand Lake shops and dining. The room and property were clean and the staff were nice. The property has a little store and gas/diesel station so that was a plus.
Cons: The rooms don't have air conditioning so we were a bit warm even with the windows open. The WiFi was sporadic in our room so we had to use our data form most of the stay that we were there. The shower temperature would fluctuate cold to hot.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice town. Clean room. Great location, Grand Lake and national park. Interesting town with several dining and shopping options.
Cons: No coffee in room. There was coffee in the office at (until 8:00 am.
7.0 Good
Pros: Very nice place to stay. Rooms are nice and clean and the grounds are maintained very well.
Cons: I felt it cost too much to stay especially due to the location
10.0 Excellent
Cons: A coffee maker or microwave in each room would be nice.
6.8 Good
Pros: Close to Rocky Mountain Repertory Theater and downtown.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: No breakfast included . Location was great . Edge of town .
6.3 Good
Pros: Great location in town
Cons: Bed was so hard. No AC and it was hot when we were there. There was a really nice fan provided though.

Daven Haven Lodge & Cabins - Grand Lake - Building
4
8.4 Excellent (161 reviews)

With a stay at Daven Haven Lodge & Cabins in Grand Lake, you'll be within a 10-minute walk of Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre and Adams Falls Trail. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Shrimp was good.
Cons: Service was really slow at dinner. There was 40 min until we got a salad.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Abiance, bed, room space, close to Grand Lake, close to town, restaurant on site. Friendly wait staff and owner.
Cons: No foot mat at front door. Tracked in outside dirt at front door.
7.5 Good
Pros: Clean rooms, friendly staff. Weather was really poor so we cut our trip short. Received a credit for one night so will be going up again in the fall
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely, immaculate cabin with kitchen, dining area, living room, and bedroom with attached bathroom. Comfortable bed. Quiet, in a nice neighborhood. Very close to Rocky Mountain National Park entrance, as well as Grand Lake. They went out of their way to make sure I had a completely pet-free cabin due to my allergies.
Cons: The only thing that bothered me was that the outdoor lights for the property's picnic area remained on all night, and they shined directly into the bedroom window. Otherwise this property is terrific.
7.0 Good
Pros: close to the lake and main part of town. Cozy rustic décor and fireplace, kitchen was OK.
Cons: Bed was uncomfortable and the cabin was not in the same location as Daven Haven - it was in the other side of town in another area called Wildwood Cabins. There were no instructions in the cabin, so we just did our best to get comfortable without assistance from the management. Difficult to get answers from management, tried calling and emailing with no answer. The shower curtain rod wouldn't stay up, kitchen and bathroom drains were slow. Lots of spices but no salt and pepper.
6.3 Good
Pros: The property is close to downtown Grand Lake and the cabin was very clean.
Cons: The front desk guy that checked us in was not friendly at all. Also we were told we would get towels replaced daily and it didn't happen . Also you have to pay extra for a daily cleaning service which is upsetting due to the cost to stay here.
6.3 Good
Pros: The location was outstanding on the less busy end of Grand street, just cross the street to restaurants and quaint shops. The kitchen was very well equipped.
Cons: The cabin was quite dated with a sleeper sofa that has definitely seen it's better day. The staff appeared to be disinterested when checking in and had basically nothing to tell us about the property, room or town.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, nice facility.
Cons: Restaurant was closed
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Cabin well equipped and very neat and clean. Close to main drag and Grand Lake. We had a great time!
Cons: The cabins we stayed in were far away from the grilling area, main lodge and fire pit. That was not clearly communicated to us beforehand. They should put a map of the area online so you know what to expect. Other than that very happy with our visit!
7.0 Good
Pros: Close to shops, restaurants, lake and other activities. Well kept. Quiet.
Cons: No Wifi in cabins. But we weren’t here for that.

Cons: Split cabin other side had a dog and barked early morning and late evening.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Love this place! There have been lots of room upgrades since I visited last that were really nice We will be back
Cons: The rate for one room for one night is a bit high But still will return, as the staff are so great and the location is amazing!
7.0 Good
Pros: The pool!
Cons: It would have been nice to have a closet. It wasn’t a big deal for a couple days but any longer could be inconvenient.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The public areas have the most gorgeous views anywhere. Our cabin showed modern colors and upgrades. Breakfast was a splurge but worth it. You need to stay here at least once.
Cons: No downside.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: If you are interested in relaxing this is the right place. Great location between the park and Grand Lake proper. The "rooms" are actually well-appointed duplex cabins above the main lodge. You can easily walk down to the lodge, fireplace deck, and gorgeous pool and hot tub from your room. Very quiet.
Cons: The parking at the cabins could be more organized. Assigning spots based on cabin number would be a good idea.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. What's not to like at Grand Lake Lodge. History. Beauty. Location. (Inside the National Park, overlooking the lake with the mountains as a backdrop.) The staff was amazing. Courteous and accommodating beyond expectations.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Room little bit small
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was very good but they ran out of items on the buffet and took a long time to refill. Parking around the cabins was a challenge. There were more cars than spots! Beautiful location. Unfortunately, our view was blocked by other cabins.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: View from Lodge was awesome. Staff friendly and helpful.

Pros: nice location to the town of Grandlake. had basic needs.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice location.. Plenty to see. Good restaurants/ bakery w/in walking distance. Lake is beautiful. Park is Beautiful.
Cons: Park road closure sure to weather.:-(
8.8 Excellent
Cons: Paid more cause of not doing reservations direct with hotel plus more for dog
5.8 Okay
Pros: Bed in bedroom
Cons: More trashcans
1.0 Poor
Pros: Location
Cons: The owner. And the false advertising about the pet fee. Their website says $20 fee but then the owner charged us 20 per night per pet! She is a scam artist.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect, we could walk everywhere.
Cons: Liked everything
1.0 Poor
Pros: It is rooms are pretty standard, not the nicest but not really run down, so what you had expect from a 2 Star hotel. The nicest thing about this hotel is it is close to Rocky Mountain National Park.
Cons: Arrived at 11 pm to find no one at the desk and no one to answer the phone, after calling the number 6 times a guy finally showed up and seemed very annoyed that I had booked a room and that I wanted to sleep in the bed I payed for. Very poor service.
Western Riviera Lodging - Grand Lake - Building
7
8.1 Excellent (260 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located in Grand Lake, Western Riviera Lodging is just steps from Grand Lake Marina and 2 minutes by foot from Kauffman House Museum. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: View was awesome. Parking good.
Cons: No coffee in room. Blinds in poor shape. Door sticky.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location! Right on Grand Lake and in the center of the historic downtown.
7.5 Good
Pros: When I called I asked if they were close to Winding River Resort, I was told it was walking distance. I was very disappointed in that, that’s the only reason I was willing to pay that much for the room. Also thought it was a cabin not hotel. Too expensive
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location was awesome, close to the lake and Main Street! The employees were so friendly!
Cons: We had the one bedroom apartment and the trundle bed mattresses were really uncomfortable.
4.3 Okay
Pros: The location ~ overlooking Grand Lake and within walking distance of downtown Grand Lake.
Cons: We had a 1 bedroom suite with 2 Queen Beds, living area, and bathroom. There was no air conditioning in this unit, nor were there ceiling fans to circulate air. It was so stuffy and warm at night that sleeping was difficult. Although we could have opened windows in the bedroom and living area, the bedroom window opened to an alley behind the hotel, where a large garbage bin was. This alley was noisy and smelly, so opening the window for cross-ventilation wasn’t an option. This unit desperately needs some updating, as well. By appearance, the last update must have been in the 1980’s. The electrical outlets in the bathroom worked sometimes, and not others. We stayed 2 nights, and both nights we could hear movement from the guest(s) in the room(s) above us. A great deal of walking, footsteps on loudly creaking floors. After walking the cute little town, we found a few other places that offer much nicer accommodations at similar rates. If/when we visit again, we will definitely be more selective about our accommodations.
7.5 Good
Pros: Cozy and comfortable and somewhat secluded
Cons: We were under the impression that our room would be lakeside rather than a block and a half away from the lake ☹️
8.8 Excellent
Pros: location
Cons: could use air conditioning in summer time.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Right on the lake, and the view was spectacular
7.5 Good
Pros: It was dated and the TV too small. Warm temps even with the fan. Air would be nice which would also drown out noise as people are coming and going in front of rooms

5.8 Okay
Pros: The room was clean.
Cons: Bed was too soft and worn. Decor dated. Walls not very insulated. Quite noisy.
7.0 Good
Pros: We were able to check in a little early, which was appreciated since we were traveling with a recently potty trained toddler. The location was good, and being able to park right in front of our door was great.
Cons: Walls are thin, you could hear everything both from the parking area and from the rooms on either side of us.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: While the accommodation was basic, the room was spotless and the owner was super funny. Great location, too.
Cons: Not really. Better than I expected.
10.0 Excellent

Cons: Nothing, all good
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the cleanliness and size of our room.
4.5 Okay
Cons: very old for the price
4.5 Okay
Pros: location of hotel
Cons: maid service had to be requested, other wise room is not cleaned daily
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing! I liked leaving the next day. My family all agreed we wished we would have slept in the car and saved our $240 dollars! What a rip off!! Seriously, if this is your only option, consider the car. It’s probably more comfortable.
Cons: The price was atrocious for what you get. I have been traveling the US going from National Park to National Park staying in a different hotel every night. I have never had to pay this kind of price to stay near a park. In fact, the average price I pay for a hotel is $79/night.... so I’m not staying in frilly places, but I am always satisfied. Not this time. The beds were old and saggy, the entire place was outdated. The furniture had stains on it. There were bugs in the bathtub. The carpet was stained. The room and bathroom are small. It smelled like smoke and stale liquor in our room. The parking was tight and difficult to maneuver. No amenities at all... not even morning coffee. WiFi would not connect. No staff to assist after 9pm with concerns. Shame on them for charging this kind of price. Again I wish I would have stayed in my car or driven to Winter Park... at least there you get quality for the price you pay. I blog my travels and this facility has easily won the spotlight of where not to stay!
