Good vatriant for good price. Breakfast was rather nice. Even the location is rather far from train station, hotel staff try to provide shattle and print timetable for trains in Milan.
everything the room and the service
very clean and very friendly staff
the room was very nice, comfortable and with a lot of space with a very good shower. I suggest it to others. I used it to be able to easily reach the airport of Bergamo and in fact I easily arrived there in time. It was a very good choice. No everything was fine.
Lovely modern hotel. Room was very comfortable with good firm bed and good working facility. Wifi was available at a charge, but it was very reasonable and high speed, and given the very good room rate, paying extra for the Wifi was no problem. Good buffet breakfast too. There was no restaurant open at night for dinner, only ready-made meals to your room. However, the receptionist recommended a Trattoria just about 2KM away which was really good. Other than that, it is a very convenient hotel to stay in.
The attentiveness of teh staff - they weretreme;y helpful & friendly. The hotel room though of excellent standard was overly warm & uncomfortable as it was far too warm & teh air con was not switched on. However, once we contacted the recption it was very soon rectified.
Convenient location, close to the airport. Nice, modern hotel right next to highway. -
Friendly staff We found it very difficult to find, if we had a better map it would have easier, but road works did not help
The staff were very nice and very helpful. They work very hard, free parking was very good too. It could do with a pool, it was very hot when we were there and there was nothing to do close by.
Helpful staff. Difficult to find in the dark! Directions would be better if told that Dalmine was exit from Autostrada, not Stezzano.
View and confortable
A wonderful hotel, perhaps the best I've ever stayed in. Stezzano is nice too and has regular bus links to Bergamo. Try Bar Haoudi in the centre of the town, the owners and the locals are very friendly, above all if you're staying in the area do yourself a favour and book this hotel. N/A
quiet, nice room and very good breakfast. Nowhere for children, more for the business traveller.Taxi service in bergamo very bad too slow and hotel out of centre so taxi was necessary
The hotel is placed in a silent area. The hotel ist very nice, everything is clean, the rooms a comfortable with new equipment and nice (new) furnitures. I can recommend this hotel
Very nice clean rooms, big bathroom with a lot of equipment. Good breakfast, lots of choice. No bath, air conditioning working a bit noisy, especially at night time. The address don't match with GPS, a bit tricky to find, although it's in open easy to see place, on the roundabout.
Excellent value for money. Hotel staff and comfort faultless-would definitely stay again if flying to Bergamo airport. Address does not match directions given by Tom Tom
i love the hotel.is nice, good breakfast, quiet, nice garden and very clean was a litlle bit faraway.you have to walk for the super and the busses.
Lovely staff and very comfortable quiet room. Breakfast was excellent. The evening meal was very expensive. The food was nice but not the standard you would expect relative to the cost.
**location, ease to check in and check out, they provided parking at first come first serve and the restaurant below was very good. you pay for what you get. is this hotel top notch, no, but it does fill a need for an overnight stay or 2 nights. i can not say anything bad about it. it works on a 7/10, especially if budget is a concern than it's perfectly quaint.
Central to Citta Alta with easy access to Milan with good public transport Although it was stated there to be tea/coffee making facilities in the room, this was just a kettle with 3 tea bags, no milk or coffee. Had we known this we would have taken provisions with us.When we asked for more we were given 2 more tea bags but the gentleman was not very friendly.
The location in town was fabulous, views of the mountains from the terrace, quirky layout, and faboulus bathroom. There was always a smell of cooking when you came in, usually fish!
The location was perfect. Room was clean and well appointed. Price was reasonable. 10:30 check out especially when the hotel is not very busy seems early.
Wonderful location in the old town; large lovely modern bathroom; comfort, convenience and charm. Unfortunately, at check-out, the hotel's credit card connection was 'down' and we had a last-minute raid on the cash machine. As we were told the problem had been on-going for two days, a note to us the night before might have made check-out simpler.
Great location in lovely setting-- small hotel- nice room- with lovely bathroom. Great triple glazing when closed cannot hear church bells which are otherwise lovely to hear. If staying a few nights a fridge would be useful, and a full length mirror.
Nobody from the Staff speaks English fluently, Communications are therefore difficult. Got assigned a car park by the Hotel (with a large sign behind the windshield) yet still got a ticket for 74 Euros by local police. When asking at the hotel for assistance on the subject I received a shrug and the recommendation to throw the ticket away; followed by the promise that they will straighten it out with the police next week. Lets wait and see if hear from the Italian Authorities with a hefty fine in the future.
the location was great for city alta, right in the thick off all the action, with the best restaurants and bars within a stones throw trip advisor
the hotel was well located, had close car parking both free and paid, access to internet at no cost,a good breakfast and a good restaurant. no
L liked the location of the hotel as it was right at the heart of the old town of Bergamo. I thought the breakfast was vastly overpriced and we had a street light shining directly into our bedroom with no heavy curtains to exclude it.
The perfect central location in the old town. The hotel is small och run by its owner. Nice and clean, good standard and comfort.
Friendly helpful staff.
Verry poor breakfast.
Hotel owner was very helpful and nice. Interesting smell in the room.
Good accessibility (next to the highway), easy parking, meets all the basic requirements. Rooms and furniture (doors, closets) seem a bit old (although fully functional), breakfast is very basic (no meat and vegetables)
Staying at the Dimora Le Nove Fate was our best experience of all times. It is definitely something special - we starred at our room for at least half an hour just to look at the brilliant design and every detail in the apartment. The staff is really very friendly, breakfast is excellent, the house is near to superb Italian restaurants and there is only 5-10 minutes driving to Bergamo. Location is very quiet. There's no single complaint about staying in this beautiful house.
This is the best place we have stayed in Italy!! It is a piece of heaven that we luckily found 3 days before going to Bergamo! The owner Rafaelle built a very beautiful house where every detail is well designed in order to make a stay different and remarkable. He drove us to a cosy and romantic typically Italian restaurant with good price and wonderful food! We certainly recommend this B&B for its quality, cleanliness, comfort, beauty, staff and price!!
The hotel is nicely located in the countryside just ten minutes from the center of Bergamo. I really liked the design of the room, it was so comfortable! Perfect for a relaxing weekend.
Actually everything was just great. Rooms are awesome, they're all different. Small family-owned hotel, really wanderful.
Manager was extremely friendly, efficient, and always concerned and helpful of our wellbeing. Noisy car and truck traffic in front of the building.
Hotel was better that we expected. We had 2 bedrooms apart with exit to garden. Very clean and very friendly. Easy to find as Old Bergamo is very small. Would recommend to people who want to have romantic holiday far from big cities crowd. Thank you to hotel owner Enrica. She was very very helpful.
Excellent friendly service, owner even ran us to station in morning.Lovely old house in great location.Room and bathroom spotlessly clean.Nice to have breakfast in the garden.Great value.
Close to centre of Bergamo, pleasant staff and at a reasonable cost in an expensive area. The room was clean and comfortable. Next to a main entry into the town and this could be noisy during the summer with open windows. No facility to pay by credit card was available.
I can only strongly recommend this B&B, not only for it's ideal situation in the centre of gorgeous old Bergamo, but also for the kindness of it's host, Enrica, who is trully devoted to her guest and makes everything so that everybody feels comfortable and at home. Also, the B&B is located in a very charming old house and the spacious rooms have been very nicely renovated. An ideal place to enjoy old Bergamo and italian hospitality.
Location was good and ideal for sightseeing in the Citta Alta. Good breakfast with plenty of choice. Good service re. airport pick up. I felt that the breakfast room was rather basic and that the bedroom could have benifited from some form of wall decorations. i.e. pictures
A great location in the old city with easy access by funicular and bus to the train station. We arranged to be picked up at the airport by the owner - this was very helpful since we were arriving late in the evening. The B and B provides a very substantial breakfast.
It seemed expensive compared to other places we stayed in Italy.
Very appreciative of arrangements to be met at the airport. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Lovely room. Delightful courtyard setting for breakfast.
For business I visit many Hotles all over the world. This hotel I think is the one of the nicest looking at the price and what you get.
The price is great for such a high-class hotel. Although the hotel is technically in Nembro (Bergamo), it is just above the city itself, nestled away from the noise on a mountain top. It is very quiet and relaxing. Our room was very clean, and so was the bathroom. Very luxurious hotel for such a low price. Breakfast could be better, as only cold food was served. Breakfast resembles what you'd typically find in German or Austrian pensions.
It was furnished to a very high standard and was in a very peaceful/quiet location. Ideal to get away from it all.
Good customer service with advice on local restaurants, as the hotel restaurant was full. Great location.
The hotel is beautifully located, surrounded by a large and well-maintained park. Our room had a wonderful view of the park, only the bathroom seemed to be a bit outdated, which might sound rather inadequate compared to other guest reviews, but the shower didn't drain well, and the curtain just clung to your body.... Excellent food in the hotel restaurant, breakfasts could be richer though, perfect service, a great place for short breaks.
The hotel was well situated on the hill with a panoramic view onto the town Bergamo. The hotel had a quiet and green surroundings. The building and the rooms were tastefully equipped, similar to a "design" hotel. The hotel had an own restaurant on the grandfloor, below the rooms, so in the evenings the garden was full with the smell of the kitchen. Consequently we didn't want to open the door of our room, and couldn't enjoy the marvellous view from the terrace.
Beautiful room, good quality fittings and furnishings, spacious and well decorated bedroom. Very helpful staff, great location in the hills overlooking Bergamo, fantastic restaurant. Very quiet and peaceful.
beautiful hotel, beautiful location, perfect room, very pleasant staff, very much value for money.
Great hotel - nice restaurant and just very convenient - I met the owner and he has done a fantastic job to set up this hotel It is out of town which is nice and quiet but a bit more difficult to get to
Rooms of a very high standard, beautiful location
Its location at 30m from the Centro Congressi Giovanni XXIII. Breakfast was not at the standard we could expect for such a hotel. The croissants were not fresh (on the 2nd day I went to a coffee at 10m from the hotel and the croissants were much better), and there was little choice in the bread. And we had to queue a lot.
The Mercure Bergamo was in an excellent location on the main street. It was very quiet and the room was large with excellent facilities and a large bathroom. The staff on reception were excellent, they were helpful and made good suggestions for travelling locally and for restaurants. I would recommend this hotel for a stay as the breakfast was also good quality and varied.
Very central location N/A
A very comfortable hotel, friendly staff were very helpful. The location was very convenient for getting to everywhere we wanted to visit. No
Very convenient for Bergamo airport, very helpful staff, smart clean room, and a very good breakfast. Avis car hire office just behind hotel. Stayed because of late arrival at airport but found Bergamo to be well worth a visit, especially the fortified 'old town'.
Very helpful staff.
it's very close to the city center and to the airport. very easy to find. paid TV programs
staff were very helpful and friendly
La stanza e sala da bagno molto ampie Breakfast not included, parking expensive
Hotel is in the center of Bergamo basso, just in front to the Xmas market
The hotel is very nice - the staff speaks English really well and is always ready to help. The rooms are modern and clean, the bathroom is big comparing to average European size.
wonderful friendly staff-modern clean and tasteful nothing!
The staff were all outstanding. We missed our flight to Italy and didn't have enough time to notify the hotel (according to the rules on booking.com) so we ended up paying ~€200 and didn't get to stay there the 1st night.
perfect service, very proffesional reception, very kind and helpful
Excellent hotel with the little extra. Very friendly and nice staff. Gourmet breakfast with home made pastries etc. Very good conditions to work from the room. Best hotel I ever stayed at! Nothing could have been better.
Excellent Quality/Price Excellent and personal service Possibility for early breakfast Situated near city center even if in a small alley Taxi had difficulties finding, since the hotel was new.
An excellent boutique hotel. Great location, friendly helpful staff. Wonderful local cuisine. Couldn't fault it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend Hotel Petronilla to everyone .
Excellent service. Beautifuly decorated design rooms, each in its own personal style. Fantastic breakfast with local product, home made youghart etc (far away from huge mass-produced breakfast's at a big hotel) in a relaxed atmosphere and nice environment.
This is a fantastic small hotel with excellent personal service. We had the upgrade suite which is not large but has superb modern fit-out. The bathroom is a stand-out with the largest shower head I have seen combined with the cool side-showers. The room also had a spa.My wife and I love hotels with opening windows, and this room has large fold-out opening doors which let lots of fresh air in. But, what really stands out with this hotel is the personal service by Uta and staff. She really went out of her way to make our stay memorable. She even took us to a local restaurant and introduced us to the owners (and the food was great). We only had a one night stay in Bergamo (a pity) but Uta helped us maximise our time. highly recommended Loved it all
We were waiting an hour for someone to open the doors!! DIY breakfast is ok, if there would be something to do it!
From the moment we walked in I loved this place, staff were really friendly, breakfast area was great and it was new and really really clean! It was up there with one of the best place we stayed. but, then we tried to sleep- we stayed in summer and there was no air conditioner or even a fan, I had about an hour sleep the whole night- it is for that reason only that it is now up there with the worst places we stayed- when your traveling you need your sleep. And its on a main street and very noisy at night.
Arrived late without any problems. The crew did tried to help us as god as they could. Small rooms, the crew had problems with English. Poor brekfast.
Not really a hotel. More of a Bed & Breakfast. But clean, good rooms with bathroom and help-your-self- breakfast. Very helpful and sympathetic host. A nice place to stay when in Bergamo travelling from Bergamo airport ( Orio ). Convenientyly colse to the airport. Some noise from traffic and from the incoming planes. But not so much that it was a problem.
There was no air conditioning and it was difficult to leave doors open at night as on ground floor although a fan was provided
Very friendly environment, breakfast in the room. No air conditioning.
Famely size room. I.e. more than 1 or 2 beds in each room. Relatively low cost. Very difficoult to find; Adress not available on GPS and it does look like a hotel at all. Needs a bigger sign. A bit difficoult to understand taht you need to call a number in order to get someone to lock you inn.
We were in this Hotel one night waiting for a flight. It is very close to te Bergamo/Orio al Serio airport, and it is very familiar.
It was a cheap b&b, access and location not great
Clean, espresso machine, own patio to sit, friendly owners and their recommendations about restaurants for dinner, pie for breakfast. The triple room bit too small
Great location 5 min walt to train station.Hotel staf wery friendly and helpful. Small window of the room.No bar area for relax,in the room did not have tea and coffe facilities .
Very clean and very near airport.A lovely quiet room too. no
Very helpful staff, sparklingly clean room, modern design throughout.
Friendliness, modern and clean rooms, nice area and sentral location.
Stylish comfortable and functional room bar was closed on Saturday night
Very good location. Hotel Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent.
