The room was really spacious. Driving to actually get in the hotel was a bit difficult because if you miss the first turn getting back around is hard. It's a great hotel. Middle of jacksonville in my opinion and the room was beyond great. This is a very new and modern hotel with very nice amenities for the price. Very comfortable beds, nice desk space with snazzy ergonomic chairs for working (if you must) and flat panel tv's. The staff seems very friendly and inviting. The only possible negative is that the buildings around it strangely run down and somewhat unsightly. That said, the area is fine and not worrisome. But it seems a curious place to have plopped down a nice hotel. The location is convenient to the highway (I-295).

My extended family and I have stayed at Club Continental and/or dined at the restaurant a number of times over the past years. It overlooks the St. Johns River at one of its widest points, and is one of those special places that are all too hard to find these days. The riverfront of 'Old' Orange Park, where the Club was built long ago, is a beautiful spot, offering privacy, solitude, peace, quiet, and the gentler spectacles of nature. Along with the charm and history, the Club restaurant offers memorable cuisine and service provided by a team of gracious staff. This is a rambling, well preserved historical estate, a memorable destination location I have no doubt that my family and I will continue return again and again. The staff was rude, high expectations for a dump, Ms. L and Ms. V were rude, the carpet was dirty the room smelt of old mildew and mold reserved 2 doubles got a queen, a lot of homeless live there, and if you pay with a debt card there is a 25.00 deposit! THE WHOLE PLACE the 25.00 deposit for a debt card and for cash payers, that is just crazy and they still charge your room the day you arrive, and make sure you get there at 3 pm and wait 45 mins. during shift change...WHAT A JOKE. Pat, who runs the B&B is a charming host who is very helpful. My wife and I enjoyed our stay there.
