Requested disability hand control in advance, had to wait 3.5 hours
Cons: Requested disability hand control in advance, had to wait 3.5 hours for car to show up. No discount offered, only apologies. Rep was overwhelmed with no help. He had to wash, vac all cars himself. Phone was ringing in office while he was outside doing these chores. Terrible set-up for a well-known national company. Will avoid Hertz in future.

Pros: car was there and ready to go. nicer one than I expected
Cons: didn't realize there was a 200.00 fee so at first it would not go through until I realized what was going on.

Pros: I never got the car and i was refused a refund of the prepaid fee of $245.00.
Cons: Do not like the policy. How am i responsible for payment on something I never received.

What a Nightmare!
Pros: I liked that when I called the Hertz "800" number
that Hertz dealt with the problem.
Cons: I DID NOT like that the place was a franchise and the car they gave us had the a piece of the car under the front end DUCT TAPED and it fell down (while driving on highway) and almost caused an accident with three of my children in the car!

Way cheaper than reserving directly with company
Pros: I called Budget directly to make a reservation do they wanted to charge me more than double for the same vehicle just a different pick up location. I'm glad I found this better deal through Kayak/priceline.

Pros: Lady was quick and polite.
Cons: Drop off involved me being told that I had put a scratch on the hood(which I had not) and I had to get back in touch with the pick-up depot if I wanted to dispute it. I did this and the matter was handled by the lady there who assured me that I was not going to be charged. This was a satisfactory outcome, but the event gave me issues on a day I did not need them.
