Poor room quality
The staff was really nice.
I’m glad I brought ear plugs. I could hear other rooms and people outside especially late into the night. My bedding had some light staining, the room was well used, and my tub was awful, it was falling apart.
The room was pretty dirty one of the trash cans had vinegar in it. The linens weren't very clean and there was red splatter on the walls. The tub was also pretty dirty.
While my expectations were not high at all, even they were not met. Check in was quick and easy, but the parking was atrocious. Vehicles double parked, a trailer parked across 4 prime spots, not good. The room was filthy. Bed linens stained and had burn holes. The microwave worked for a out 30 seconds then went out. The tv was difficult and had to channel guide. Drug addicts on balcony all night long. Luckily we will not be back in this area. Could be a decent hotel if someone cared enough.
For all of the above mentioned reasons this hotel is unsuitable for anyone other than a drunkard leaving a bar.
A Good Value
The building, front desk, and Breakfast Room were inviting. It was largely clean. The breakfast was more than adequate. The Front Desk provided us with emergency one use toothpaste.
There was mold on about half of the tub-to-tile grouting. There was crud in the corners of the Bathroom. Perhaps the cleaners should sit on the toilet to get a new perspective on the room. My partner felt there should have been some form of eggs and bacon at Breakfast.
Had free USA-Today but did not have local newspaper or rack
not a 100$ hotel.
Its was a good location near the convention center and restaurants.
The room was not very clean and very old furniture and appliances. It works for a night or two but not so good for the price.
the a/c was loud
Convienietly located near restaurants and entertainment, had a pool, good continental breakfast, friendly staff
Our room had a fan on the carpet when we arrived, we were told rain had leaked in, we had to ask for it to be removed. The room had a damp smell. Although it was a smoking room, it smelled as though someone had smoked marijuana in the room. The manager on duty (Raj) kept incorrectly correcting the young girl checking us in. He was doing something else and would correct her even though she was correct in what she was telling us. If he were paying attention he would have heard her.
