Pros: Great restaurant attached to hotel. Breakfast and Dinner very nice.
Cons: Hotel next to cemetery. Hot tub and sauna not available
Pros: Amazing quiet location on a little harbor. Room was a bit small and basic but furnished and decorated with style. Amazing breakfast in the excellent restaurant nearby (part of the same complex as the hotel).
Cons: Check-in has to be done at the nearby restaurant, which is not clear before arrival. There’s no staff at the hotel (only at the restaurant) and no phone in the room to call the reception in case of need. For an hotel of this category and price, this is not a good level of service. Bath tube was shown in the pictures but we couldn’t find it anywhere in the hotel. No explanation about services like this was given, and there was little communication with the staff for the above mentioned reason. Bed was a bit uncomfortable, too soft in the middle (it caused back pain to both of us).
Pros: Lovely decor and good sized room and bathroom. Close to the fabulous Brygghuset restaurant
With a stay at Strandflickornas Havshotell in Lysekil, just steps from Vikarvet and Havets hus Aquarium. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. Planning an event in Lysekil? Pros: Lovely as usual! It was our third stay and it’s just a wonderful place.
Cons: Unfortunately, some guests watched videos on their smartphones with sound on (and no headphones) during breakfast. That ruins the nice, calm atmosphere and is in contrast to the nostalgic, “out of this world” feeling the hotel has. What a pity!
Pros: Excellent food and service
Pros: Charming place close to the sea, with a conservatory-style restaurant.
Pros: Great Breakfast! Comfortable bed. Great view.
Cons: Main door too loud. Room7. You should choose another closing system. No Chance to sleep after 7am. Loud noise.
Pros: Few rooms, very cozy, splendid atmosphere and friendly staff. Love these old style well kept hotels.
Cons: Everything was great. If to mention something, during dinner we lost the attention at some point from the staff. Then again, this was made up with dessert on the house.
Cons: The room is small and sleeping as a couple in a twin bed is a good test for your relation ;-)

Pros: Location is good
Cons: Cleaning, room in general very poor and no amenities (hardly even soap in the shower...) Beds are too soft and needed to be changed years ago... Breakfast basic No room service or greeting from staff - in general a very blend experience and we are unlikely to come back
Pros: Amazing location and very charming
Pros: Location on the water is absolutely stunning. Resort is next to a beach, walking trails and ferry stop and has its own dock for small boats. Unfussy and beautifully-designed public areas such as library, decks, terraces, bar and restaurant. Top on the list of our stay was soaking in the hot tub (reserved for additional fee) where we relaxed, chatted with friendly fellow hotel guests, took in gorgeous views and occasionally dipped in the ocean between soaks. Along with 100 other guests and locals, we also enjoyed participating in jympa, communal Swedish exercises, held on the deck next to the water.
Cons: The guest rooms and bathrooms are small. Communal spaces are punctually locked up between 10:00 pm and 7:30 am so if you stay up late or get up early, there’s no where indoor to go other than your small room. Restaurant/bar hours are 11:00 pm-7:30 am.
Cons: Very bad service in the restaurant, the straff did not give us satisfying service!!!

Pros: Really nice and cozy place, breakfast was good, staff really friendly, sauna was so nice, kitchen area really practical to have your own food, location is also nice and it’s pretty clean!
Cons: Bed was a bit too soft for me, I need a bit more support. Walls are not really sound proof so it’s a bit annoying when in the morning I wanted to sleep in and people is talking outside or making noise in general, but other than that is a great place.
Pros: everything great place to stay amazing breakfast staff really kind
Pros: Service was good. Rooms are nice and clean. There is also a fully equipped kitchen for communal use that is clean and nice.
Pros: Location, location! And the staff—young and generally eager to please. There are two properties owned and operated by the same operation and they are VERY DIFFERENT in their rooms and amenities. So be sure that you sign up for the one you want. The names of the two sites are very similar too. We stayed in the period hotel with fine dining 9 years ago. We thought we were booking there again in 2019 including dinner reservations. We ended up in their hostel/hotel a number of blocks away but with the dinners at the place we intended to be. Imagine that!
Cons: The rooms in the hostel/ hotel very very spare and quite small. You pay extra to have towels and the very small bathroom comes will no amenities other than soap and tp. The bedroom is hard to move around it with one chair and no table a hanger or two to hang clothes in a wardrobe. We could go on. We were staying there 2 nights. Perhaps good for families with children. Don’t know what the hostel provided for them. This was not inexpensive either. In our case it was not what we expected nor ready for.
Pros: It was in a very nice location close to the sea and the nature reserve. It has a kitchen guests can use which is handy and breakfast was good. Staff were very pleasant and facilities were clean.
Cons: The main issue was the room was so small. I booked a room for 3 adults and it was described as having a double plus a bunk - however the “bunk” was actually a flip down bed suspended on the wall directly above the head end of the (small) double. It would have been fine for a child but I doubted it would safely take the weight of an adult so we resorted to moving the mattress to the floor which meant there was almost no floor space. Ok for one night but I was glad it wasn’t a longer stay. So advice to future travellers is check exactly what facilities you’re getting! I also felt it was inappropriate for a hotel to expect guests to make their own beds up. Not the end of the world but it was advertised as a hotel not a hostel and it certainly wasn’t hostel prices!
Pros: Very friendly personnel, easy atmosphere, very clean, free coffee and tea
Cons: The mattress was very soft
Pros: We had a wonderful room (double room seaside) it was small but really cozy. The balkony was perfekt. Without balkony the rooms seem really small. Everything was clean. The breakfast was okay, nothing special, but for the price totally fine. We had a great, stay in Lysekil.
