Everything’s! Super clean and cozy rooms, friendly staff and perfect location
room to small and to much furniture for the small room
All staff we met were welcoming. The welcome drink! The restaurant/ bar. The evening restaurant food, although not cheap, was totally fabulous. Seriously. We felt pampered there. And the gin was good too!!! The room was comfortable, spacious and relaxing. The fact that the shower was separate meant that the shaving mirror didn't get steamed up - genius! It's in a quiet area about 15 minutes walk from Hauptbahnhof station and close to Wunderland. Would happily stay here again if visiting Hamburg.
Very little!! I confess the entrance and access to reception was confusing! We observed a taxi driver having the same problem! Breakfast buffet items not always "topped up" at all or promptly - this was our least favourite aspect of the hotel. And it wasn't made clear if items that were cooked by a chef were chargeable. But we would still stay here again.
The Marshall sound system in the room is fantastic, very good to play rock music, and very easy to connect with mobile phone via Bluetooth. The water tap in the washing area is amazing, water flows out from it like
Some fitness facilities would be appreciated.
Interior and concept!
All is great.
Sir Nikolai—with curated art, vintage rugs, and polished marble throughout—is a showcase for artisanal quality and tradition, seamlessly blending local heritage and international sophistication in the shadow of one of Hamburg’s oldest churches, Sankt Katharinen. When guests are not retreating to one of the hotel’s 94 luxurious guestrooms, they can relax with a cocktail by a fireplace in the lbrary or by a second fireplace at the patio, a glassed conservatory incorporating the old courtyard and featuring wooden flooring. The patio also boasts a glass roof that opens effortlessly onto Hamburg’s outside world, enhancing the view to a projected art installation and the green walls of the upper floors’ courtyard. Izakaya Asian Kitchen & Bar, which begins at the patio, stretches majestically to two sun terraces that sit high above the historical Nikolaifleet.
