The room was very comfortable, the shared bathroom was very clean, and the host and hostess were friendly and hospitable. The whole experience felt very welcoming. Great location just a few minutes walk to the heart of the shopping and eateries in Henningsvaer, but off the main thoroughfare so very quiet. No complaints!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location to enjoy Hanningsvar!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was great, right on the water with a fantastic view. It also has a door to a dock/veranda. Loved the black out drapes , which made it possible to sleep at night when the sun did not set until midnight and rose again at 1:30 a.m. The apartment was well organized and comfortably decorated.
Cons: It was expensive but worth it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything else was great.
Cons: Heat in main room was weak so it was cold on couch. TV a bit small
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location n the view are excellent. The apartment is spacious n very comfortable.
Cons: Nothing actually. Would be perfect if there’s a washing machine.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The living area was so comfortable - all white, big leather sectional, small dining table with chairs. Nice kitchen in separate area. Wooden floors. A great view of the end of the harbor with some boat activity. A little balcony with a BBQ. This 2 bedroom apartment is perfect for a family with kids - two double/queen (?) beds with two bunk beds - sleeping 8. Also had bikes available to use.
Cons: My pet peeve is having too many beds in the bedroom. There were only two of us but there was also a bunk bed in the bedroom - just feels crowded - but great for a family!
7.5 Good
Cons: Smell of fish in bedroom
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very beautiful and tidy apartment, wich was well equipped, e.g dishingmachine). The view and the surroundings were amazing. We enjoyed our stay enermously.Henningsvaer and the stay in Tobiasbrygga were the best part of our visit in Lofoten!
Cons: I can`t find anything.Maybe on weekends there might be some noise in the neigborhood, but that didn`t bother us. Parking might be little difficult, but we received good information when we arrived and everything went well.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very clear instructions for automatic check-in via SMS and email Really comfortable apartment and kitchen, perfect for a group of friends or a family Hanningsvaer is a really cosy and vital city in the midlle of Lofoten islands with cheap restaurants, bars and souvenir shops compared too average norwegian life cost Value for the money!

8.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked the experience to stay in a cabin that is very well equipped and could accommodate easily 4 to 5 people. The cabin itself offers all the comfort and a kitchenette and small dining place that allowed us to have dinner there with a view outside. The main building with the restaurant is where you have the nicest view.
Cons: We did book a cabin with sea view. The view was actually on the lagoon behind which has a small harbor for mid-size boats. Although we were in the last cabin, we did not feel the isolation and quietness we were expecting.

Cons: Absolutely nothing!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Berg Apartments was a great place to stay! We had an unexpected extra member in our party and had asked for an extra mattress, but Berg went one better and arranged another room at minimal cost. The young hostess who greeted us was both delightful and very competent. We were offered a ride to the bus station which was very welcome and prevented us from missing our bus to Leknes! Comfortable, clean rooms, bathrooms and kitchen facilities.
Cons: Nothing!

Pros: The whole place was very clean and comfortable, it had a lovely little snug dining room. The family were lovely, the daughter spoke perfect English and the dad even got up at 6am to drop us to the airport. Would highly recommend! Good location for walking to town and local hiking spots.
Cons: Nothing.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Clean and comfortable room beautifully appointed. Good shared kitchen and bathrooms Only short walk to ferry terminal. Friendly staff.
Cons: Soundproofing needs upgrade? Parking in large empty community carpark opposite is not for guests. Watch out for this.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Spacious room, nice building with a large terrace/balcony on first floor. Quiet, clean and family friendly despite having common spaces. Owners helped us with our car rental and allowed us to park there, which was really nice.
Cons: Having the dining room in a separate building from the kitchen was a little annoying to move the plate but not such a big deal during summer.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Cleen fresh rooms, cleen showers and well equipped kitchen. Comfy beds and nice staff.

Pros: The breakfast was very good
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Sensational breakfast, central location, great views from the sea-facing rooms and super kind/helpful staff.

Pros: The Lofoten Islands archipelago offers breathtaking, unforgettable scenery. Svolvaer is a good base to explore Lofoten (Troll Fjord, guided tours, hotels, restaurants, shopping) . The Thon hotel sits on the harbor front next to the Hurtigruten pier. An excellent location in the center of Svolvaer (very close to the main square - tourist office, starting point of many organized tours). The room was clean and spacious. Beautiful view from the room. The staff were polite, nice, and helpful. The breakfast is extraordinary. It may be the best in Norway.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Remarkable breakfast choice. A really good hotel experience for us as leisure travellers. Very good room, comfortable bed and good overall room facilities.

Pros: Fantastic location in one of the old fisherman’s cottages in the heart of Svolvær. Right on the water, with a nice restaurant overlooking the harbour.
Cons: While the cottage had a kitchen, including a dishwasher there was no washing machine. There is one you can use close by however.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Anker Brygge is a fantastic, centrally located but still quite quiet hotel consisting of cabins on a small island. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and made the check-in very easy. The rooms were comfortable and it was nice having a common living room to sit and relax in. We did not use the kitchen so much (just wine glasses) but it was clearly well equipped.
Cons: The bedroom lighting was very dark which was an issue when trying to dig around for clothes or such.

Pros: Excellent accommodation in a quiet area of the Lofoten Islands. Svolvaer is close by (a 10-15 minute drive) and is a good base for walking and excursions. Information provided by the owner was clear and helpful.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Clean, spacy and pre-heated apartment. Had everything we needed and a great view on the fjord.
Cons: No personal handover of the keys, but the instructions were sufficient
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location of Lofoten apartments is absolutely spectacular, the apartment is beautiful with a laidback feel, it is equipped with all mod cons and extremely well insulated (did not feel cold despite raging winter storms outside). good place to see eagles and aurora borealis.
Cons: I liked everything, but in winter you will absolutely need to have a 4X4 to drive to the house
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I love the view on the balcony. The place is huge that it has potential to live more than 4 people. Cozy and clean. Near to the big city.
Cons: Sauna sometimes was locked after 11 pm. The garbage can is somehow far from the living place.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, spacious, good location
Cons: Nothing bad to say.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice breakfast with a superb view Clean and cosy room Very quiet
Cons: Far away from everywhere
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Best breakfast I have ever had. Common room including tea, honey, coffee, milk, fireplace with fire, view to the port and computer. Self-service laundry for 40 NOK including washing liquid and dryer (you pay at the reception) or free handwashing and drying on racks (nearby washing machine or a lot of space nearby dormitories). Well equipped large kitchen.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This is a VERY well-operated and organized operation in an excellent coastal town, near to many other interesting villages and town in Norway's super-picturesque northwest coastal archipelago.
Cons: These are basically dorms for an outdoor school for young adults part of the year, so the rooms are not at all cozy.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful breakfast ☺ Nice surroundings. Seaside, nature and shops to buy food. Very friendly and helpfull staff.
Cons: I did not like the building I stayed. Concrete.floor. Plastic chair, Ikea furniture. The bed was not comfy. Much too soft. My room neighboors, a family, kept banging the doors. No good isolation. When I closed the curtains in the night, they kept the light off. But than I felt the fresh air was shut off as well. The room got too warm. So its a bit sad to be at such a lovely charming village and having a modernish building without any wooden furniture or floors. The tables and chairs in the room where the breakfast was, all of non natural material as well.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good location with view og the harbour. Nice smiling and helpfull staff. Too many people in the Kitchen. Great breakfast with many Norwegian specialitet. Nice walks in the arena. Climb tjelbergtinden. IT is fantastisk.

9.3 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: A very comfortable and clean place . Great bathrooms and showers to share. Bedroom has comfortable beds plenty if closet space and a large sink. The breakfast is the best you can find. With many types of salmon eggs, fruit, cereal, breads and more. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. We arrived late at 10:00 pm and only open place was a pizza bar/restaurant we ate the most expensive pizza I ever had and it was not even that good.
Cons: Everything was great
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was totally amazing! It was totally acceptable as a good hotel breakfast, let alone a hostel breakfast. The bedding was a great bonus, and I have already recommended this hostel to my friends.
Cons: The kitchen facilities were a little far from the other rooms (not fun in the rain).
6.3 Good
Pros: Clean. Good breakfast!
Cons: We think the pictures were quite misleading. You're in a school building, the rooms are so sober that you don't get a bit of a holiday feeling at all. The shared kitchen closes at 22.30h so if you want to cool a bottle of wine you have to get back on time to get it out. No private toilet or bathroom.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was beautiful and very clean and quiet. Nice confortable bed. Great breakfast. We were kindly and friendly welcomed. We highly recommend this hotel.
Cons: All is perfect
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room size
Cons: Outdoor noise, but that was not the fault of the hotel.
5.8 Okay
Pros: the bed was comfortable, it was well placed in the town, and it was easy to step in and out
Cons: there weren’t any blinds on the windows, so it was a 6am wake up for us. if you’re here in summer this could be a huge issue. you have to go to the restaurant to get to the hotel, there are no explanations of where the actual entrance is and it took us a while to realize we had to check in AT te restaurant. the people working at the restaurant didn’t even know the name of the hotel! the staff was slightly incompetent. the shower wasn’t separated from the rest of the bathroom so water got everywhere. the room had just been renovated, but paint was peeled in some corners. the number on the door of the room was written on a scrap sheet of paper and taped on. there was a mini fridge, but a mirror was resting on top and you couldn’t open it without the mirror falling.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good location in the heart of the village. Good breakfast included. Excellent croissant!

Pros: The staffs are very nice and friendly here. Good communication with the staffs before my friends arrive.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing really.
Cons: Shared living rooms, no parking, got a parking ticket on the street. No breakfast. Horribly overpriced at $278 a night. Sleeping in the same suite with strangers and hearing them move around and talk. Walls were not soundproof at all
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great situation and awesome view Great concept Top suite is perfect Helpful staff
Cons: In the cheaper suite, kitchen is so cramped it is useless and transparent bathroom is a strange concept to say the least. Better curtains would be a good idea in a place renowned for midnight sun.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice to have a large shared lounge with access to outside deck. Kitchen adequate
Cons: Pepper and salt shakers were empty. Tissue box empty. Bedrooms were very warm in the afternoon with limited ventilation.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: very nice place
Cons: The room was small, on the ground floor and the window was right to the parking
5.5 Okay
Pros: Pros: excellent hotel location, clean facililty. Cons:
Cons: Front desk person is available from 9-9. Phone number left for you to call for anything else. July visit: NO AC, room was very hot (glass panels and one window that opened slightly made sleeping difficult as we needed to use the dark out curtain to sleep). Also, we had to leave the window open (limited cracked open)...it also let in all the noise from the harbor... Hot, noisy room, we sweated while trying to sleep. The shower glass door keep hitting the toilet, whenever you go into the shower, space is for a small person.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: A very large apartment. Big living/dining area with panoramic views. Two generous bedrooms with ensuites. Balcony. And right on the harbour.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice room and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was big, clean and very good.

6.3 Good
Pros: The hotel is well located in Brenningsvaer and nicely decorated. Breakfast was good, especially the make-your-own pancakes.
Cons: The overpriced room (room 221) was meant to be a superior double but it was a really small room with a queen size bed and hardly any room to walk around it. It had no kettle and no decent table to put stuff on. The plug hole in the shower was blocked and overflowed the bathroom. The soundproofing was not great either. The staff was friendly but not particularly helpful when we asked them questions.
6.8 Good
Pros: Nice location and friendly staff.
Cons: Loud music from close by restaurant until early morning during week ends and Wednesdays. Small rooms with no fridge or TV, very poor wifi. Poor cleanliness, especially of bathroom/shower area.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Food and location were good.
Cons: Room was small with view of side passage. Given the location this was a big disappointment.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location, also simple to reach, with a parking at the entry of town. Excellent kitchen, nice views from the restaurant unto the water channel
Cons: Very tiny rooms with a view only unto the roofs of neighbouring buildings. No lift
8.0 Excellent

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly, helpful staff, comfortable beds. Good location, easy walking distance from everything.
Cons: Rooms were very dated; could use some refreshing.
6.3 Good
Cons: Room is very small Double bed is small and unconvinient for 2 persons. Without elivator carrying luggage is bad.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location and the food are outstanding
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Hotel in a beautiful location within a picturesque village. Very large room, canal view and, as requested, on the ground floor. Excellent and plentiful breakfast. Quality restaurant in a very nice environment. Very comfortable room and bed.
Cons: Poor information from the staff for advice on local tourism proposals
7.5 Good
Pros: Good location; Have a nice breakfast; Quick check-in and check-out; Comfortable bed; Complimentary coffee, milk, tea and hot chocolate at reception daily.
Cons: Negatives: My room faced the parking lot and had a lot of noise. Room very noisy if you heard everything from neighboring rooms. There was no phone in the room. Bathroom cleaning really bad. The toilet lid was not washed on any day of my stay.
Scandic Svolvaer - Svolvær - Building
13
8.3 Excellent (1,160 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Stay in an idyllic island in Lofoten, in the middle of the harbour. Experience a charming, intimate and cosy hotel with views over the harbour and the sea.
7.5 Good
Pros: The hotel is very well situated. Superb view from the window and from the terrace! Very good breakfast. We even stayed for another night that was not planned.
Cons: The room was rather little. It was not allowed to eat outside of their restaurant, but it was rather hot inside. So we had to eat dinner at the other place.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We had a super nice view from the window to the sea. Hotel has also a terrace where guests can sit, drick, relax and admire the sea and boats. Breakfast was very good. Room was comfortable. Many things t do outside for tourists. Svolvaer is a very beautiful place.
Cons: The room was rather small.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We upgraded our room to have an ocean view. The view was nice, but the cost of the very cozy (ie. small) room seemed high for the accommodation received. But I think you are paying for Svolvær more than the hotel. The breakfast was very good and the dining room overlooking the water was quite pretty.
Cons: The view was nice, but the cost of the very cozy (ie. small) room seemed high for the accommodation received. In hindsight, I would have preferred to spend less in a small village nearby rather than right in town. Additionally, the parking was terrible. It was a find-a-spot-where you can situation. We ended up parking illegally near a fence and I was nervous all night our car wouldn't be there the next morning (the car was fine).
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location and view
Cons: The room is way too small than expected!! As a result..hardly find space for luggage and moving around. There were a small table with two chairs blocking the door to the balcony. We had to push the chairs/table to the two corners in the room for access to the balcony. One side of the bed is against the wall and there's no bedside table with power point for charging conveniences. The bathroom is basic and also it's strange that there isn't power point in there too! Found a few power points on the wall oddly located in the room. Only basic coffee/tea packs and kettle (no espresso machine) provided and we had to place the kettle on the carpeted floor for boiling the water. It's obviously not worth the price we paid for getting a motel's standard in a so called 4 stars rated hotel!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast & location were great!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely location, convenient for ferries in and out of Svolvaer. Good breakfast and views
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location. Beautiful view from balcony. The breakfast was excellent. All members of staff were nice.
Cons: Room was small and the facilities in the room are very simple. It seemed to me a basic budget room. Our towels were very wet when we were back from a trip in the late night. The cleaner didn’t change the towels regardless we’ve put them in the basin before we went out in the morning. Fortunately the receptionist girl give us 2 clean ones.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The location was excellent and particularly the bedrooms with a balcony, although the rooms are a little cramped, breakfasts were fine ,but not nearly such a good breakfast as Scandic Ishavshotel Tromso. A good base for the Lofeten Islands
Cons: Not impressed by the evening buffet. We stayed 4 nights and ate elsewhere on 3 nights. Unfortunately there seemed to be several coaches a night with the mass of people that entails
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location.
Cons: My breakfast experience was terrible. Dozens and dozens of bus tourists made breakfast a nightmare. The coffee line alone took 5 minutes.

Pros: Excellent location. Loved the art gallery of ULF M which is right around the corner.
Cons: Breakfast was great but a walk from the hotel. My single room was fine but small.
6.3 Good
Pros: Good location Willing staff
Cons: No TV No air condition Not suitable for the hot weather Too expensive for what they give
6.3 Good
Pros: great breakfast and large rooms
Cons: the elevator was out of order and our room was not cleaned up nor the beds were made after the first night. but we noticed that in Scandaniva anyway the service in the hotels is rather low compared to other European countries. the town of Stamsund offers only few facilities (we saw only one restaurant for example) and for sure it is not the most beautiful place on Lofoten islands. and it's pretty far away from other villages or towns.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast buffet was very nice, plenty of options. It's an interesting hotel because they also rent some of the Fisherman's Cabins across the way, which we stayed in one night. The hotel is also tied to the restaurant on the harbour across the way where you get breakfast so you can stroll over for dinner, drinks or to just enjoy sitting outside. If you're looking to watch TV in your room, though, bring a good book. No TV, but an amazing view of the water from the lobby.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Comfy room and helpful staff
Cons: Just a bit pricey, and breakfast seemed a bit ad-hoc. Other than that, nothing to complain.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Large room with a beautifull view on the Fjord. Friendly manager
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect view. Beautiful. Very nice manager. They even made a veggie breakfast.
5.0 Okay
Cons: Terrible hotel locked up breakfast frozen including milk in fridge in polystyrene container

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The apartment was close to the center and looked fancy
Cons: The sheets were dirty! There were not enough dishes
9.3 Excellent
Pros: We stayed at the larger of the two downstairs apartments. The space was clean and well maintained, and a short walk from the downtown center and a short drive from a large supermarket and other conveniences.
Cons: The kitchenette, even by local standards, was minimal—the fridge was dorm-sized and a large toaster oven substituted for a conventional one. Due to the nature of the property, there are no views from our room.
6.3 Good
Pros: Quite place and location
Cons: The room was dark. Some light bulbs were out. There were not enough kitchen equipment and, a pan was in very bad condition. The cleaning was very superficial
7.0 Good
Pros: good stay
Cons: on thr 3rd floor too high.../ difficult to find place due to missed communication
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable apartment well appointed convenient for ferry and shops.
Cons: A little gloomy in bottom of house but otherwise excellent place.
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: We never got the info that the check in wasn’t on the property itself, but at a 15’ wall away. had to call to find out. After finally getting the keys, we went in to try and cook dinner. the kitchen was a joke. there were no appliances, no microwave, no stove, no cooking utensils, no lid for the one pan, no toaster... nothing. the fridge also hummed throughout the night. The walls are paper thin, you can hear EVERYTHING from the neighboring rooms. The soap dispensers in the bathroom were broken and just didn’t work. The shower floor was slimy. There was a leaking pipe in the courber of the bathroom. The towels had a horrible texture and didn’t feel clean. The room was very dark, and there was a view of construction from the window. And it was expensive. I cannot stress it enough, DO NOT go to this hotel. I wish I had read the other comments more carefully before booking.
6.0 Good
Pros: Very clean and comfortable.
Cons: The Villa is s fair walk, with baggage, from the ferry terminal. There is no information on the Villa advising guests that they need to pick up the key at a location near the ferry terminal nor providing contact details in case of assistance. Whilst the property had buried in my booking feedback a comment on key pick up I didn’t register that on booking. Neither was there a reminder email. Very poor.
6.8 Good
Pros: Mini kitchen very nice. bathroom perfect.
Cons: bed was to soft! little Bit expensive for Students.
7.5 Good
Pros: Big nice apartment. Quiet place. Place for cooking (the oven a VERY big minus). Warm water. Washing mashine.
Cons: Its a nice accomodation but for example the oven/microwave was so dirty and old that we did not want to use it. There were hair on the pillow and lots of dust underneath the bed. A twin bed possibility would be good. Too expensive.
7.5 Good
Pros: Spacey
Cons: The reception is about 10 minutes away on foot. Then they gave me the wrong code to collect the key, and I had to walk back to the reception in the rain. It has a washing machine, but no dryer, and no iron. How was I supposed to do laundry if I had no way to dry them? For what I spent, I would have been better off staying in a hotel if I couldn’t do laundry. One of the heater is not working.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location is amazing! Lovely blue sea surrounded by high mountain peaks and a curvy bridge leading to Henningsvær- that’s what describes this great accommodation! We liked our room, free parking, great breakfast, friendly staff!
Cons: Room size could be bigger Some insects liked it there too..
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect, just outside the main part of the town on the opposite side of the bridge. It was quiet and very comfortable. There was also a very good breakfast.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is lovely. Staff at the reception was very nice and helpful. Breakfast in included and offers a wide range of food and drinks. A bit expensive, but totally recommended!
7.0 Good
Pros: Clean, cozy, surrounded by beautiful landscape. Great breakfast. Helpful staff. Picturesque art-with-feeling landscapes throughout. Good deck for warm days. OK walk to town or to mountains over the car bridges.
Cons: No facilities except when reception open. No kettle until we blagged one. It is just a room. Its small. Its a small but nice clean bathroom. Only 4 tv channels but look outside! Curtains don't keep out sun so need blinds/towels/scotchtape.
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast was just OK. We arrived after 23:00 as we had advised the hotel we would. There was no one around to tell us where to look for the key. Luckily for us someone arrived just as we did and they knew where to find the keys.
Cons: We had no idea of where to look for the hotel.. Fortunately we met a woman out walking her dog at 11:15 who told us where to find it. We then found no one and had no information as to where to look for a key to the building or room.
7.0 Good
Pros: Excellent Breakfast. Room was small but comfortable
Cons: Breakfast could be a bit earlier for travellers
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Cleanliness
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet location and the room had a nice view. The breakfast was excellent and all staff were very helpful.
Cons: The bathroom was large and wheelchair accessible which is good however there was nothing to stop water from showering covering most of the bathroom floor. It was a nuisance having to go to another building to get a cup of tea or coffee then being unable to unlock or open the door to our building with one hand.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Good place outside the village (10 minutes walking) and it is a chance (many people at Henningsvaer in summer) Our room was pleasant, restaurant, as so good for the breakfast than for the dinner. The hotel's staff very caring.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It was relaxed and friendly. Lovely location meant you could have breakfast overlooking the water and walk into the village over the bridge. Really good breakfast. Quiet rooms.
Cons: Furnishings in room was a little sparse.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very nice staff! Nice rooms right on the harbour. Excellent breakfast!
7.0 Good
Pros: Staff was very nice and helpful ! Breakfast was tasty and there were many choices!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast, with gluten free options and fresh products.
Cons: Little outdated and no refridgerator in the room.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Good breakfast, good wifi, nice staff.
Cons: Small room with no desk for work. Toilet very awkwardly located makes it difficult to use. Even with curtains down, still a lot of light coming in the room during night in the summer.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was absolutely amazing ! The best buffet we ever had, and good for everyone (English breakfast, continental breakfast, vegetables, vegetalian cakes and breads, waffles,...).
Cons: To say something: The window in the room was difficult to close. The beds were a bit too soft for us.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Good location, walking distant to cafes, restaurants, boat tours.
Cons: The sofa bed has bed smell and dusty, need more towels in bathroom, need in-room water boiler/kettle, problems for guests with large luggages because no elevator.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The excellent breakfast buffet, and the nice handwritten words in the room, the staff wrote to our attention. That was a really lovely detail.

Located in Svolvaer, Fast Hotel Svolvær is within a 5-minute drive of Lofoten War Memorial Museum and Svolvaergeita. Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center and luggage storage. Limited parking is available onsite.
5.5 Okay
Pros: The location is pretty close to the city centre. Everything is in walking distance. When you enter the room for the first time everything is well cleaned.
Cons: If you decide to stay here for one or two nights everything is fine. However I don‘t recommend the hotel for a longer stay. We stayed here for 6 nights. The rooms will be cleaned every third day and you will get your breakfast in a doggy bag day by day. The carbage amasses because the whole breakfast is wrapped in plastic and you will only get plastic cutlery, this stays in your room until it will be cleaned up. You get no plates only plastic fork, spoon and knife. You have a porcellain cup but this will never be changed or cleaned as long as your stay takes. We left the hotel at such a third day and the garbage cans were absolutely full. The doggy bags layed around between the luggage. Consider if you go to the beach, it might be possible that you would have sand in your room for three days.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything is just great
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: Its like a hostel! full of nois during the night. to expansive for a small room and breakfast in a bag
5.5 Okay
Pros: Location is good. Bathroom is basic but fine and they check in and check out concept (code that you will receive by sms) is working great.
Cons: - Free parking places on the street are very limited available. - We stayed for 3 days but out room was never cleaned during our stay and towels were not changed. - breakfast concept (delivery at the door) is nice but totally outdated the way it is executed. Every room gets the same breakfast and therefore no choice can be made what you actually would like or can eat for breakfast. As a result, lot of leftovers for which I can only hope that they will use it wisely instead of throwing it away. Breakfast was also not fresh (delivered 11 pm night before). - no reception which is the concept and ok for us but the host was not very knowledgeable. -overall we think Fasthotel is more like a good hostel instead of a hotel and way overpriced. Basic facilities of a hotel are lacking. Also the breakfast concept is a 'throwing away' machine they way it is set up. We could not book a stay without breakfast but maybe a request to cancel the breakfast is possible.
7.5 Good
Pros: No reception or employees , concept reasonably efficient !
Cons: Small details need improvement : Bathroom it’s not functional . Shower spreads water all over the place , protection needed . Not a single towel hanger
3.8 Mediocre
Cons: Main issue, giant hole in the wall of the room we stayed in. When brining this to the attention of the on call staff member he notified me that they were aware of it. Knowing that the room had a hole in the wall and still putting us in there is pretty ridiculous. Also, the light in the bathroom was out.
7.5 Good
Pros: Great place to stay to simply lay your head down. Easy check in with code sent by SMS, no staff at property, large room and bathroom.
Cons: Breakfast was very simple and hung on your door, nice idea but not executed very well. Still not a cheap hotel for what it offers.
6.8 Good
Cons: No milk powder in breakfast pacage.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Bag Breakfast was ready for us early in the morning. They hang it on our door late at night. Very spacious. Great Customer Service over the internet. This is a self help hotel. Works with passcode. Super!
Cons: Nothing that I can think of.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: great location
Cons: breakfast processed food
