Owners were amazingly hospitable, home cooked breakfast every morning, suprice treats like a slice of apple tart for each person when you came back to your room after a day of cyling etc. Very unusual and eccentric decor but definately not boring! Very clean, spacious and comfortable. You must go on the seal watching boat trip- excellent experience for the money. Would definately come again!!! Description states near harbor, when you think of harbors you generally think of pretty sailing boats, cafes etc but its not.. its a very industrial fishing harbor with huge old fishing boats and the very few cafes that are around are open for very short hours and are not open at all sun- wed. Would be a good idea to bring a car as there is no train station in Den Oever and you will otherwise end of being on buses all day like we were!

Ina, the landlady, and her husband were very nice, helpful and made all efforts to make us feel at home. Ina's breakfast was scrumptious (wonderful)! Maybe you enjoy little privacy as the house is very small.
