Not my first stay here. I didn't roam about the hotel, only went from room to car, so that's why I don't feel I experienced enough to give an excellent rating, but I will rate it next to excellent. The facility and rooms are clean, nice bright colorful & white bedding too, clean laminate floors, no dirty sticky carpet. Housekeeping lady cheerfully thanked me for staying as I departed. I stayed across the street once at some extremely cheap budget hotel or whatever and it was the nastiest - Anyway - long as this Motel 6 continues to provide quality accommodations I WILL ALWAYS STAY HERE WHEN I VISIT THE STATE. Only thing I will give a thumbs down on is that I had to walk my dirty towels to the front desk to exchange for clean towels. No EXTRA towels would be given. Lol.
Just the tx Floors are sticky and slimy Bathroom mirror look like it was just used one of their own towels to wipe it down with Big smudges No microwave nor fridge No additional privacy curtain Not enough parking They charge for each additional person per your room But the booking app don't Front desk told me it's $7 a night per extra person But the room tag says $3 per night We stayed the weekend This place like the screw people This place is not quiet Other guests screaming and yelling When we were leaving Two parents were fighting and screaming Leaving their toddler unattended
Friendly staff. The price was great for a 10 day stay. Sometimes the air conditioner would not cool and the toilet would run, so the handle needed to be jiggled
Location only I paid for a disability accessible room when I checked in I was told there were none available, which cost slighty more than the room they tried to place me in. Low water pressure in the bathroom. Did not make my bed for my 2nd night's stay. Thumbs down!
The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean although dated. Some fun colors might make it more inviting and updating the furnishings while not costing a lot of money for renovations. It was challenging to find the drive back to the hotel in the dark. More signage would be helpful.
Free breakfast Outdated rooms that had an odor
One expects a two-star property to be a little run down; perhaps furnishings that are dated and a bit worn or things in need of repair This Super 8 is exactly that - shabby. It is also not very clean. The desk chair is stained and I can understand that not every stain comes out. But it also has very, very soiled arm rests from the previous, who knows how many users. Beyond that, the room seems moderately clean with the exception of a corner behind the toilet and some stains on the carpeting. Caulking in the bathroom needs to be redone. Not that it is so dirty but is just worn and is peeling or missing in places. On the bright side, the free WiFi is amazingly fast. What is odd is that there is absolutely no mention of internet access in the room. Even if you are a relative novice when it comes to this kind of stuff you will be able to figure it out and I presume the front desk can help, I did not ask. Unfortunately the desk space is somewhat limited by a large table lamp and the coffee maker. The only receptacle near the desk requires you to unplug the lamp or coffee maker. Super 8 gives you free in-room coffee or you can walk down to the lobby. The lobby coffee is pretty good and there is even real cream available! They offer is a free continental breakfast from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. Bagels, muffins, two kinds of cold cereal, instant oatmeal, milk, orange and apple juices. Obviously nothing is 'free' and since I was paying for breakfast anyway, it would have been nice to have a bagel that did not taste like cardboard. I would have been happy to pay another 50 cents for the room. I did not have much interaction with the staff but they seemed pleasant and helpful enough. I not sure I can recommend the property but it was the cheapest place in town. Maybe you get what you pay for?
I can't believe that you even have this as viable choice. It really soured my experience and future use away from your services.
