10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was well served, the braai (barbecue) served for dinner is amazing (a must have), rooms were clean and had comfortable beds. The lodge’s host, Sander, was one of the best hosts we’ve seen in our trips. He helped us a lot with tour tips/guidance, arrangements for game drives, and when we had to leave early for a self drive tour at the Kruger, he prepared us a nice breakfast to take away (with sandwiches/fruits and hot coffee/tea).
Cons: Nothing. We only stayed there for three nights, and we needed more.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a small bed and breakfast type experience with 4 very nicely appointed private rooms with baths. The owners cook you an excellent breakfast and gladly take you to dinner in the town and share their experiences living in South Africa for the last 20 years. The owners are a couple originally from Holland...very nice people! The lodge is immaculate and very well appointed with a great outside space for eating, pool for swimming, fire pit for evening drinks, etc. The lodge is in a wildlife estate...it is a "neighborhood" with large lots and paved roads then has dirt, bush roads you can explore in your car to see all the wildlife that does not just stroll by the pool. :) There zebra, giraffe, warthogs, all types of antelope, porcupine, etc....and a leapard on site. We were there just after the mating season so there were little ones running around everywhere....including lots of birds...kingfishers, rollers, hornbills, ibis, etc. The location is great because even though you are among the wildlife, the roads are all paved and you are literally 5 minutes from town (fuel, restaurants, shopping, and the airport. You are also very close to the Kruger gate.
Cons: The place was excellent, but this is not "in the bush, roughing it, safari" type experience. So if you are looking for that, go into the park or sabi sands (where we stayed for a couple of days at Umkumbe lodge. Loved both experiences!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I'm mentioned what is coming up to my mind, but is more than what I'm about to write! - Sander, the owner, does barbecue with exquisite meat every night. The barbecue is served in an open area nearby an open fireplace, soft music, candle lights and a buffet of salad and sides which are delicious. Plus, wine + homemade ice cream + coffee. What else do we need? - I was trabelling alone with a 6 months old baby. I had a nany arranged by the wife's owner and supervised by her everytime I needed. So nice! - all the tours and game drives I wanted to do they arranged for me with high quality partners, took me anywhere I wanted to and for a fair price - great location - very charming place - staff (EVERYONE) was really nice and not "too much". - facilities + internet worked perfectly - great breakfast - good energy - just 3 minutes walking from a reserve full of girafes, zebras and other great animals. DEFINATELY, you should get it!
Cons: Nothing to declare. Everything was much more than expected.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Host was excellent. Food was great. Comfortable accommodation. Friendly
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Firstly, Sander is an excellent host. He goes out of his way to make your stay the best. The facilities and accommodation are truly fantastic. There is a heated pool that we used even in winter. The surrounds are beautiful and scenic. The room is large enough and is very comfortable, it is full of character and exudes a great ambience. The dinner was excellent and the drinks are very reasonably priced. Sander organised 2 safari drives and a boat ride through the Blyde Canyon, all 3 were excellent and again reasonably priced. The only sad thing is we could only stay the 1 night, this place deserves at least 3 nights. There are mountain bikes that you can use to explore the surrounding area which we didn't have time to use. Even relaxing for 1 day here doing nothing but soaking up the atmosphere would be worth it. The attention to detail here is great.
Cons: Nothing, it was all fabulous.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room is beautiful, and the service is top quality. This is the best place I have stayed in South Africa, and one of the best anywhere in Africa.
Cons: Everything was excellent
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed the Logde and the hospitality of Sander and Juliette very much. Lodge is conveniently located between the Panorama route and Kruger Park, within a small private reserve with animals. It has all the comfort of European facilities (even a little extra attention, like a citronel cream from moscitoes)and a unique style of Africa done with a lot of taste. We took advantage of the road bikes kindly proposed by Sander, also the barbecue nights with great food and wine. We have also enjoyed the Blyde canyon hike that Sander advised, it is one of the true highlights of the trip. Thanks a lot again, Sander and Juliette, for your hospitality
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The standard of accomodation The quality of the food The attentive service throughout The relaxing ambience created The flexibility it offered us The hospitable nature of the owners
Cons: Not Applicable
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner, Sander, was very informative about things we should do at the Blyde River Canyon and what to be mindful of.
Cons: That we didn’t book more than the one night!

Pros: Very relaxing place, great management and delicious food.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Sander & Julia embraces the African Rock Lodge much more than a business itself, but also with their sympathy and kindness. I have never been hosted with such dedication and willingness to make the guest comfortable and enjoy the Safari adventure. I'd certainly recommend the lodge to my family and friends.
Cons: Nothing.

Pros: The staff were extremely friendly and looked after us well. The quality of all meals was exceptional. The room we stayed in was just as described. This is certainly some where to visit if you are in the area for a short period of time
Cons: The location is the only thing that lets the place down it is a bit out of the way if you are spending a few days there though it is worth venturing into Hoedspruit shops to have a look around. Don't be put off by the busyness as you drive in as it becomes very quiet when to get to the location
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wow, wow, wow. I dont even know where to begin my goodness. From the moment you set foot at the place, the manager Vlak makes you feel at home. The staff, is kind, friendly and most importantly they give you service out of this world. The room I had upgraded to, my goodness, the room on it's own deserves a wow, wow, wow. One thing I'm certain of is that I will be going back to Unembeza. I loved the place and everything it had to offer.
Cons: There is nothing not to like about this place, if heaven was a place definitely Unembeza would be it.

Dinner was Great! Breakfast was amazing! Having breakfast on the deck, in the sun and in nature was just lovely. As well as the campfire in the evening. Coulnd't be better.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What can we say about Unembeza? The place was just perfect! Nature all around, 5star restaurant, wine around a falò, amazing staff and a perfect starting point to visit the Kruger park. We felt at home and we wish to be back soon!
Cons: The only thing we did not like was the fact that there was no door to separate the bathroom from the room. But to be honest this was clear from the pictures and we booked it anyway and considering the beauty of the place, it was not a big deal!

9.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff were absolutely amazing. The food was excellent. The views, the garden and the property lovley. We will go back there for sure.
Cons: Maybe they should have block out curtains in the bedrooms the light outside shines through the curtains so it makes the room very light.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Impressive was all female staff welcome you warmly upon arrival and insisted in taking the luggage to the room. Appointments such as spa treatments and game drives were made at short notice by the manager and Khaya Ndlovu team. The personal touch and attention to detail was omnipresent. The service rendered by support staff is indicative of excellent training is in turn reflective of brand Khaya Ndlovu. We highly recommend both the evening and morning game drives which were conducted by knowledgeable game rangers, Darren and Robert augmented by the expert tracking skills of Sam. The massage overlooking the expanse of bush in fresh air was invigorating. The view from the Deck is imprinted on my memory forever.
Cons: I loved EVERYTHING and will certainly go back!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The game drive was exceptional
Cons: None
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Setting and view.
Cons: would have liked a bath tub
7.0 Good
Pros: Main house is beautiful and view from the pool magnificent.
Cons: Dinner - although the fish was lovely in main course, would of liked a choice between 2 options - one fish or red meat? The facilities of the garden suite - ie kitchen cupboards, utensils are outdated and kitchen dustbin lid broken. During our game drive of 3 hours we did not stop for our mid-drive drinks, which we were looking forward to.

Pros: Everything! A very professionally run Game Lodge with excellent staff, superb facilities and fantastic catering.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The facilities, room, staff, food and game drives were all extraordinary. It was very good value.
Cons: I personally found the bed somewhat uncomfortable, however my family did not have any issue. Bring a good rain pancho, because theirs are nylon and not completely effective if it rains during a game drive.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice staff, superb game drives, good food!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We had the best time during our stay, everything is taken care off. Great location, conveniently located in the game reserve, safaris were amazing. The food, especially dinner, was delicious and very cosy in the boma.
Cons: Nothing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: It was dry season when we where there and the Lodge provided a lovely oasis of greenery to sit and relax in the garden watching the odd buffalo or warthog test out the fencing! The sleeping accommodation was large and comfortable and the outside shower was, well... a little different. The evening meal taken with the other guests was an enjoyable affair and breakfast was a thorough mix with the usual offerings. They're got the game drives off to a tee. We liked the fact we kept the same ranger/driver for all the drives so we didn't go down the same routes again and again - and the ranger sought out species we'd not yet seen. I felt they try to group guests with the same arrival dates as well for the same reasons. A nice touch. So was it worth it? Well, leaving aside the comfort factor - we got to see 4 of the 'big 5' - close up. By that I mean within a few feet - a male lion was more or less by the wheels chewing his way through an Impala snack. No Elephants on our drives - but we did miss the last one (airport beckoned). We had a Ford Ecosport and I wouldn't have liked to have driven the 7km track to the lodge in anything less robust. Not a problem - just something to be aware of.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Our stay was perfect. Special thanks to our great guides Sam and Richard who did everything to give us the ultimate Safari experience including the big 5!
Cons: Nothing - everything was great
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The food has a strangely familiar 80s dinner party vibe that I love and is cooked really really well. The drives were great and we saw so much. If you have a few days for a safari then I can't say strongly enough that Mohlabetsi and the Balule are a great choice.
Cons: It doesn't feel as bush as some but this was my second visit in 4 months so not much I don't like.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Every meal was lovely. We ate out, looking over the reserve, under the stars, accompanied by the Rangers who shared great stories with us all. The staff were extremely helpful and looked after us really well. Rooms were plenty big enough and had all you needed for a comfortable, relaxing stay. Our room had views out over the reserve. The afternoon dip in the pool was an added bonus, but all in all, a great place to spend a few days if you get a chance. Oh, and by the way, the game drives, Rangers and Trackers were awesome. Top marks all round for a fantastic lodge. I can see why a number of guests we met return again and again.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everyone was so friendly, food was excellent, the Rangers (John and Clarence) were very knowledgeable and helpful. Couldn't fault our experience
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I have been a number of times to this lodge, in fact I went for the first time almost 10 years ago when they had just opened. And what amazes me, every single time I go, is that how much they have managed to still find ways of improving. There is always something new on offer! This time I tried the vintage car tour in their old Chevrolet, and even though I am not generally so much into vintage cars, I thoroughly enjoyed it. It really takes you back decades, quite emotional actually. I found the safari experience to be even better, with a number of mind blowing up-close experiences. Crazy stuff! The one thing I found most improved is the food. I had some of the very best food I have ever had, anywhere in the world. The filet was to die for, for example. My husband and myself travel a lot to France, but this blew some of the best food in France out of the water, and I hate to say. I also stayed recently with my husband at the new Vuyani Tented Camp, and I really don't know which one is the better one. They are both amazing, which is why we keep coming back, especially at those rates. I always struggle to find anything better value than Vuyani. So, see you soon!!
Cons: that my stay was too short
7.5 Good
Pros: The staff are incredibly friendly. The rooms are well appointed and clean. The all inclusive rate is good and the pool area is very nice.
Cons: The game viewing vehicle we had needs serious mechanical attention. Some professionalism is perhaps lacked by one of the managers in that they did not take our suggestion to better the stay of some Australian guests seriously. Of the two plated suppers we had the meat was dried out and not enjoyable at all. The Bush braai "barbeque" was not really authentic as it had roast leg of lamb served in a casserole and the only other traditional meat was boerewors (Meat Sausage)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed in Vuyani Tented Camp, a very new site. Staff are extremely nice. We received very warm welcome from Kelly. She also plans things nicely that make you feel in a family. The safari driver Chad and animal tracker are very experienced and professional that you can see animals. like leopard, lions, rhino which are normally difficult to find. You can be very close to the animals and every Safari experience are different. You can never be bored. Chad is also very knowledgeable about animals that I've learnt a lot. Nice food and drinks as well!!
Cons: Nothing. I wish I could stay longer.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The game drives in the morning and in the evening were very nice.
Cons: The meals were rather poor without a lot of choise. Our family lodge was above the kitchen and had no window
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A magical experience . Amazing staff and tracker/drivers. Great relaxed atmosphere. We laughed a lot.. Go book !!!.you won't regret
Cons: We should have stayed longer. They made us go home
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The place is very clean and real sanctuary. The stuff from the guides to cleaners is very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect, since they pick up you from the airport until the very last day everything was perfect, really nice people doing their best job. The rooms were clean the food was amazing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: From the moment we arrived for our 3 night stay, the staff were professional and friendly. Nothing too much to ask for. We never wanted for anything. The facilities were compforbable, beds were great and the game drives were fun and informative with some amazing sightings. Thank you to the whole team for making it such a memorable and relaxing weekend. Totally recommended
Cons: Everything was amazing, I would’ve just have liked an option to have breakfast outside and not in the dining hall, but that’s just because I like eating outdoors whenever I can. Maybe set a table or 2 outside as an option :)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The food, the rooms, the game drives - and drinking a g&t while watching the sunset over a magnificent lake. We had some wonderful game sightings too. I can't wait to return soon

Pros: Lovely hosts and very stylish and comfortable rooms! Even got upgraded to the villa and had the whole place for ourselves! Breakfast was excellent, one of the bests we‘ve had during our 3-weeks trip.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My wife and I loved this venue! Ann and Marlon, our hosts, did an excellent job of seeing to our needs and was focused on ensuring that we have a great stay. Breakfast is excellent, while the rooms were clean and located in beautiful surroundings - we'll definitely be back!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We loved our stay at Nyaleti, although short. Below are our highlights: 1. The hosts, Ann and Marlon were amazing! They are warm & welcoming, easy to talk to and had great recommendations for relaxed activities 2. The honeymoon suit is spacious and neatly decorated with warm, earthy colors and a new view of the garden to wake up to. 3. The outdoor bath and shower are an absolute must for a romantic getaway although not ideal in winter 4. Breakfast was lovely
Cons: We always try to focus on all things positive but constructive criticism is always needed: 1. It would be have been great if the honeymoon suit had an indoor shower. It’s a bit tricky taking an early morning bath outside in winter 2. Perhaps consider mini bar fridges in the individual rooms instead of having a shared one
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Loved Nyaleti Lodge! Hosts are so friendly, made us feel right at home. Fantastic accommodation, beautifully decorated - felt very spoilt!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nyaleti is a wonderfull place. Beautiful lodges in a wild game reserve. Just 5 minutes to Hoedspruit with lovely restaurants. Excellent breakfast and great hospitality. Ann and Marlon are wonderfull hosts.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is superb, the hosts are wonderfull.
Cons: You have to be lucky to spot one of the big five.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: You feel special in a place like this! All the way from how they take care of you to what the place offers out from a nature perspective! Ronell and Johan arranged a very nice 2 day trip for us to Krüger park and we spotted the big 5 already the first day! But if I return one day I will spend all the time at the lodge. You see nearly all the animals there without a long traveling.
Cons: African gravelled roads are not the best but we made it without 4-wheel drive.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location in the bush with elephants, various species of buck, warthog and other wildlife almost constantly in sight on the river bank . The accommodations are excellent and very suitable for large families, and both management and staff are extremely attentive. Meals are a slendid affair.
Cons: Our experience could not have been improved upon
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent place, especially if one needs a break from the city buzz and lovers of nature
Cons: The place could do with air conditioning, especially during the hot season
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely spacious (Hippo) cottage, very well equipped, comfortably furnished, immaculate housekeeeping, superb outdoor areas both for relaxation (sunbeds, pool, deck chairs, table, shade), dining and braaing (boma). gorgeous views over the river. excellent meals (do NOT hesitate to book catered option), very tasty with excellent presentation. great privacy. peace. TOP birdwatching. TOP guides for game drives and bush walks on site. wonderful hosts/staff. friendly and 100% helpful at all times while respecting wish for total privacy. this is a truly wonderful place. we were here for a short rest (and clean up!) between longer stays in KNP and we would recommend anyone to combine a few days in the park with a stay in this lovely nature reserve. really worth staying for several days. many thanks to all at ximongwe....we´ll be back (IF you´ll have us?)
Cons: bed a little soft for my taste (am a large, "traditionally" built lady and sleep on a rock hard bed at home) but thankfully tastes differ and it may well be just perfect for you!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Hippo Cottage is amazing. The hosts were super welcoming and very helpful during our stay. The house itself is beautiful. It's spacious, beautifully decorated, well equipped ( the kitchen has absolutely everything you'd need ) and comfortable. There are two private decks, one off the front and one off the side with a nice table, sun chairs, shade and a dipping pool. Lovely BBQ area as well. The view of the river is fantastic too. Lots to see.
Cons: Unfortunately, the windows couldn't be left open for a breeze because of the monkeys. While there were fans in all of the bedrooms and living room, air con would be nice for when it's super hot like it was when we were there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Ximongwe Safari's - Hippo Cottage A beautiful 5 bedroom home on the banks of the Oliphants River located on the Balule Reserve with Hoedspruit being the nearest town is where we found ourselves for a six night stay in January 2018. The location is superb for any activities that interest you whether it is sitting on a deck with the river flowing by in front of you with Hippo getting quite vocal 50m away, in full sight of the antics of the monkey population entertaining one mere meters away. Antelope come to the water to drink at various times during the day and while a huge crocodile eyes them from the river they still manage to keep a safe distance. Bird life is in abundance. At night the whoop whoop of a hyena can be heard as well as the early morning barking of a troop of baboons close by. Some of them being more curious than the others can lead to closer encounters which are not ideal, yet very exciting. There is about an hours drive to the gate from Hippo Cottage to leave the reserve and you will experience sightings giraffe, waterbuck, impala, zebra, bushbuck to name but a few. We were fortunate enough to see a leopard and on two occasions elephants. Private game drives on the reserve are not permitted which we didn't know beforehand and were disappointed to find out. The cottage is very well equipped and everything is in working order. It is serviced daily. There are two full bathrooms which is ample for a bigger crowd. One has the choice of dining on the deck or indoors and the boma outside is equipped with everything needed for a braai. The kitchen is huge and whipping up a meal with two thermofan ovens and a gas/electric hob combination is a pleasure. Extra dishtowels in the kitchen are needed to wipe up those unexpected spills, so bring your own. Bedding is crisp and clean and the towels provided for bathing and swimming are good quality and soft and fluffy.

Pros: The employees are the best! Very happy and glad to help! The safari is beautiful and the room, one of the best I ever been! Amazing experience! Of course a must to go
Cons: There is no variety of food! As this is an all inclusive hotel, should have more options of food and more food available in the afternoon. It would be great if the hotel invest in the gym.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The service was excellent and the hotel it-self was much better in the reality than on the pictures. Very calm, modern and fresh design and the food worth a Michelin star. The Safari experience with amazing Rangers who explains every single detail about the animals and how they track them, just don't hesitate to ask questions, they are more than happy to answer to you. As well go feed the elephants, it is an overwhelming feeling.
Cons: Only one little detail. When you arrive at the airport at the hottest hour and the hotel sends an open car to pick you up. 30 min under the strongest sun weren't that pleasant. So be ready and get a hat out of your suitcase in advance.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place is next to perfect in every way. The hosts go out of their way to make everything completely effortless and comfortable. The elephants in the garden made it special. The wildlife and birds next to the river are mesmerizing. The river location magical and the food was amazing. This is a place to come to relax and unwind. It’s small yet large enough to do your own thing and not be disturbed. The pool is perfect. The hosts, Riana and Ane are diamonds who couldn’t do enough to make our Christmas break one of the best ever. Living in South Africa, we would rate this as one of the best lodges that we’ve stayed in. We are definitely planning another trip here. Bonus we saw giraffes and zebras as we left.
Cons: There is nothing that we didn’t like.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was absolutely magnificent. Kim and Sander are so lovely and kind hosts and overall most interesting to talk to. The lodge is right on the river and you can spend the whole day watching animals passing by in the garden and on the river. Kim is also an amazingly talented chef...every evening was like heaven on our plates. And for me it was just a once in a lifetime experience because Kim knows about gluten and lactose intolerance and she prepared so many nice dishes for me. They also arranged a game drive where we saw 4 lions just next to the car. This continued under water because both recommended the best dive spot in South Africa. Thx so much and good luck with your new project, the Bare Feet Retreat. We will come back.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great hosts and an unbelievable setting. Could sit watching the river all day. Food was also very tasty and large portions of top quality home cooked meals.
Cons: Facilities are definitely more worn and tired than you expect from photos and social media. Cost touch on the high side.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: What a gem! It's a very small, family run lodge - 4 very nice rooms, immersed in nature. Wonderfully relaxing, perfect choice if you are looking for peace and quiet. We stayed for two nights but would gladly have stayed more. Excellent food.
Cons: The dirt track going there is pretty bad but not unmanageable even with a standard sedan. Wouldn't want to try it with rain, though.

Cons: small room with standard comfort

Pros: The Lodge is located in the heart of the Hoedspruit wildlife estate, very quiet and comfortable for an overnight stay. breakfast was served on time and prepared with a smile.
Cons: I enjoyed my stay....
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Coleen and Shaun have been excellent owners! I felt at home in a lovely garden with sparkling pool and was asked one night to have a meal with them. The two dogs are well taken care of, disciplined, no nuisance and kept at one side - since I'm an animal lover, I asked them to bring the dogs to the garden. From my bedroom I had a lovely scenic view into the African bush, where I had my morning coffee under a tree. Warthogs and various bush came to visit daily. The bedroom air-con has an inverter, therefore hardly any noise. Ceiling fan equally 'gentle to the ear'! These amenities helped against the heat one can expect in Hoedspruit. Thanks for not having a TV in the room .... the night sounds of animals, night jars and owls as well as the calling of birds by day are the reasons one comes to the bush - the sound of silence! A trip to the Graskop Gorge [lift company] was the highlight of our stay. I cannot fault the owners in anything. Thanks for an unforgettable ten days!

Pros: I liked the environment. It's so quiet and classy and it's what I have been looking for.

Pros: This villa felt like home from home. It is located in a gorgeous wildlife reserve which is safe to walk or cycle around. We had a wonderful Sunday afternoon drive/stroll and enjoyed the giraffe, warthog and other game viewing. No big cats or elephants so safe to wander around at leisure. The ladies provided excellent breakfast and 3 course dinner and we could help ourselves to fruit, biscuits and drinks from the kitchen area. The bedroom and balcony view over the garden was lovely.
Cons: When checking guests in and during dinner turn the TV off in the lounge. The noise although not terrible just mars the peace of the location.

Pros: The villa is in a very quiet wildlife estate with many animals roaming around. It is the perfect getaway from the busy city and the staff make you feel at home the moment you walk through the door. They tend to your every need and are happy to help whenever you need it. Our three course dinner was prepared by Combricia and it was absolutely delicious! She is an amazing chef and she is very kind. This villa is a home away from home and we would definitely stay at eKhaya again.

Pros: Very comfortable beds, good cooked breakfast, friendly manageress, good to have chilled water on tap

Pros: Awesome hot tub, relaxed vibe
Cons: Communication regarding safari options
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had our own separate bungalow with a gorgeous bathroom, hot tub, and deck. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The food was always great.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable room, wonderful wait staff and cleaning service.
Cons: The owners/managers have zero knowledge of the African bush being that they are from England . We found Dave especially unpleasant, sometimes bordering on being rude to his staff in front of guests. He seems to be unable to host his guests with any style or genuine hospitality eg. busy on his cell phone during dinner then leaving the dinner table before the meal is over without wishing his guests a good night, demanding his ice cream after the evening's dessert without offering some to anybody else. These people should not be running this lodge! There are many wonderful lodges in the area that have their own game viewing vehicles and rangers, so no need to travel 45 minutes to transfer to such a vehicle and ranger.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: bushveld and clean environment .the staff was very helpful and give excellent service

Pros: Beautiful surroundings and friendly, helpful staff. Zebras, Wildebeest and various antelope wandering around the premises.
Cons: A bit too far away from any other facilities. We were limited to dinner at the lodge every night. Would have preferred more options.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was good, the dinner was also delicious.
Cons: The price tags on things in the room like dried fruits and nuts. It made the experience seem too business orientated than a vacation..

Pros: Lovely home with masses of room (six of us fitted with room to spare). Good location as long as rural and remote work for you! Super friendly staff.
Cons: Could do with some minor maintenance (leaking showers for example) and the pool area really needs redoing (notably for guests over the summer months).

Pros: Wonderful relaxing place to stay in the most fantastic surroundings. Form first arrival we were so impressed with the friendliness of the staff, and the feel of the place. Added bonus of the local zebras coming for a visit.
