Cons. Room not very welcoming, no art work , no coffee machine, just very plain. But for the price , it will do
Pros. The location on the beach is its saving grace.
Cons. The service at the hotel was almost amusingly indifferent. The front desk staff were of no use for any questions (yet for some reason about ten of them lingered there). The hotel has different level rooms and my understanding is that third floor rooms are nice and private, but our second floor pool facing room almost felt like a hostel - we heard every move of our neighbors and of the entire hotel. There is zero privacy. The beach access is great but since the room has no beach view it almost makes more sense to book a nicer place a few blocks from the beach. The hotel is clean but definitely very basic.
Pros. Holbox dream was right on the ocean with great views. It was a quite, relaxing and just a great place to enjoy some time away from the hustle and bustle of life. The location was only three blocks from the center of town via the beach, which was a beautiful walk by the way! The conch showers and sinks were a nice touch, the A/C worked great and the beer was cold!
