Cons: The stump grinder being used every morning right outside our room woke us up before 8 am every day of our stay. It was quite annoying.
Pros: The location and amenities were great and the staff was really welcoming and curteous
Pros: the room was remodeled and the décor was done very well and pleasant. we were surprised that we found ourselves in a facility that must have been the first building used many years ago, not at all resembling all the other buildings----very retro.
Cons: What spoiled our stay was a strong mildew odor. We are both allergic to mold and spent the night with Kleenex.
Pros: The room was very large and the bed extremely comfortable.
The corner unit we had showed a view of the lake and the morning sunrise was specular on our balcony.
The breakfast was good and had a variety of things to choose from.
You can't come to the UP and not expect to see crowds, there were a lot of people in for a early breakfast before heading out to the ferry's for Mackinaw Island, the staff was very gracious and kept the flow going refilling the dishes and cleaning up as fast as people left.
I would return here in a heart beat and highly recommend this Best Western Harbour Pointe .
Cons: The amount of geese walking on the grass and near waters edge. They leave behind quite a mess, there should be some way to control this.
We avoided the bond fire held at night because of this, you couldn't see where you were walking and stepping on.
Pros: Everything is amazing and very friendly staff. I would definitely go back there again. Also has an amazing view!
Pros: Great property, awesome staff, very comfortable and clean. Two pools to choose from.
Cons: My only complaint is the property is so large, the breakfast area was quite crowded every morning.
Pros: I liked the location to the ferries.
Cons: We stayed in the Michigan Building which is a single level building. When we turned on the air conditioner, it was really loud and had a musty smell the entire time. Bathrooms were small that it was hard to shut the bathroom door.
Pros: Great facility with several different buildings. Beautiful outdoor pool worth hot tub along with a very nice indoor pool and hot tub. Delicious morning breakfast with lots of variety that they keep well stocked. Also had marshmallow roasting in the evening for the kids at a fire pit right off from Lake Huron. Great play area for the kids.
Pros: Staff was very helpful and friendly, even with helping us find things to do. And. Breakfast was great, and event though it was really busy, the staff was super polite. Clean rooms, confortable beds, and located just minutes from the ferry in St. Ignace.
Pros: The view, indoor and outdoor pools, free breakfast.
Cons: Having to come back home

Pros: This is a good value compared to the much higher cost of staying out on Mackinc Island. Good accessible location that is walking distance to the ferry and a great bar and grill practically next door. I would stay here again!
Pros: I loved how cheap the room was for how amazingly large and clean it was. We enjoyed all the hotel had to offer. Wifi was strong and it was easy to get work done while there. The only reason there weren't staff there is because it was Christmas.
Pros: Everything was very clean, especially the bathroom. The location is great, within walking distance of the ferries to Mackinac Island.
Cons: Breakfast room was very small. Not enough tables plus nowhere else to go to sit except back to your room. Food selection was only average at best.
The breakfast was pretty good too.
Pros: Liked the mini balcony w/sliding screen door. Very nice/clean/quiet room. Friendly staff.
Cons: Internet very slow - would timeout before accessing email.
I would definitely stay in the hotel again. Our room was clean and spacious. The staff was very nice. The breakfast room was well stocked, I was impressed with the care the breakfast staff took in stocking it and cleaning even 10 minutes before breakfast ended. Overall our stay was enjoyable. I would request a second floor room next time.
Pros: The affordable rate and the staff.
Cons: The pictures on line made me think that the hotel was on the water. I really wanted a water view, the first floor room we were given was very close to the main door. The view was obstructed. Parking is very limited on the front side of the hotel.
Pros: Friendly, helpful staff, cleanliness, and location.
Cons: I had a problem connecting my iPhone to the wireless internet on the second floor where my room was located. The TV would frequently experience problems.
Reserve a room on the second floor if you can face in the water. First floor facing the water is nice but the second floor is outstanding.
Pros: Value for price was outstanding. Views of water and balconies were unexpected but a great add.
Cons: Internet was spotty and randomly would cut out.
Slightly father away from town center, but close to ferries. The walk is pleasant so it doesn't really matter.
Pros: Friendly atmosphere, clean room and surprisingly good breakfast.
Try your luck at the casino when you stay at St. Ignace Budget Host Inn in St Ignace. You can get a workout in at the fitness center or take a dip in the indoor pool. There's a spa tub, and rooms offer flat-screen TVs and refrigerators.
Pros: Great staff, charming atmosphere, comfortable and good value.
Cons: No complaints.

Pros: Great view from our room or the bridge! Also in a good location.
Cons: Breakfast was sub-par.... We ended up eating at the McDonalds across the street.
Pros: Great view of Mackinac Bridge, close to town, good info from the front desk lady about ferries, restaurants, etc..
Cons: Ice machine outside our door, pretty noisy. Lots of squawking gulls, but not much to do about that. Limited breakfast.
Pros: Good value for money. Close to I-75 and US-2.
Cons: The elevator smelled like stinky feet. Overall a bit more upkeep would not hurt the place. The breakfast was very minimal (no eggs or sausage, bacon, pancakes)
Pros: Yes there is a view but only if you're on the second floor. The place is located on the outside of town. It is dated but is guess it was ok
Cons: I could tell the place hadn't had a thorough cleaning in a awhile.
Pros: Value for money
Cons: Microwave and couple of minor appliances would greatly improve overall experience.
Pros: Great rates. Always clean, comfortable, and well taken care of. And Nice staff. Always helpful. Can't beet the view if you have a lake side room. We have stayed here before and will stay here again.
Cons: continental breakfast should go til at least 10 to give visitors more time. Some people enjoy sleeping in a little on their mini vacations.

Pros: Friendliness of the staff, nice clean room and good breakfast!
Pros: Inexpensive option for last night travel plans that included traveling with my dog.
Cons: Location is convenient to highway, but not 'downtown' area.

Cons: The breakfast area was too small.

Pros: Hotel was very clean. We enjoyed the pool. The hotel is close to the Starline Ferry. The hot breakfast was wonderful!!!
Pros: View and convenience toMackinaw Island
Cons: Breakfast- crowded and far from room
Pros: The staff were professional
Cons: I ordered a king size room and got two gueen size beds. They weren't very accommodating and their rooms are outdated. Fridge didn't work well and had to program remote for tv. Also the room was wasn't as clean as it could have been. Missed the details.
Pros: I loved the rooms, the location and hospitality.
Pros: I booked a room on line with no views of the island and got upgraded to a islnd view on the 3rd floor. Hotel was very clean. Lovely stay.
Cons: The carpet by the entry was starting to give out and I stepped on a tack strip a few times, watching TV there coaxial are not tucked away behind the TV. I know i stayed at the end of the season so I expected much worse than that.
Pros: Good breakfast buffet
Cons: Lower level room
Pros: * Large rooms with balcony overlooking water
* good breakfast
* nice warm pool and big hot tub
Cons: You have to walk outside to get to breakfast. Really nice on a sunny summer morning. Not so much in winter.
Pros: I thought the balcony overlooking the lake was great, see the island, boats and birds. Great view.
Cons: Bathroom fan worked when it wanted to, didn't work for showers but it came on during the night when you used the bathroom at 3:00 AM. I heard banging from other fans. They need worked on. Didn't like the hard water. The bedding wasn't the best either. For what I paid for the room for 1 night, things should of been better. Oh, parking isn't the best. Needs spruced up. Free continental breakfast, room was packed.
Pros: Lakeside view rooms even when I booked a non-lakeview room.
The catering staff were really friendly and helpful even at the end of the breakfast sessions.
Nice grounds. Very near to all the docks.
Would definitely recommend.
Pros: Clean, good location, good breakfast and nice size room with amenities
Pros: Nice staff, clean rooms, great price, would go again for the savings and location
Cons: Electric sockets were loose, Chargers, lamps and worst refrigerator wouldn't stay plugged in. I lost groceries because the plug fell out either during the maids cleaning or a bump of the fridge it wouldn't take much. Had to prop things to hold phone chargers from falling out. Hot tub is murky kind of scary looking. Lobby attached would be nice but can't complain for the price.
Pros: Location was excellent
Cons: Room layout, building odor was unpleasant (likely caused by moisture), never got comfortable in the room.
Try your luck at the casino when you stay at The Breakers Resort - Lakeside in St Ignace. Guests can splash around at the indoor pool or grab a bite to eat at the restaurant. Other highlights include a fitness center and a terrace, and rooms offer flat-screen TVs and refrigerators.
Cons: Very loud children in room next door. Food left in room. Shower noisy. Fan in bathroom very loud. Wanted romantic get away but this place is for kids.
Pros: 3rd time stayung there, nice friendly staff.
Cons: Need some updating
Pros: Very clean, staff at the desk were nice. The location is great, there are good restaurant's in the area and of course easy access to the ferry docks. They do have coupons for the Mackinac ferries, we had to ask however if they offered any.
Cons: We booked a room and it was in the basement of the building, it was decorated as all the other areas were but to me it has a somewhat claustrophobic feel about it. The most significant problem was, at check out we received our zero balance bill however we were BILLED AGAIN a full night we discovered upon bank statement review. It took four days of calling to get an answer and were told it would take up to five business days to be completed. The manager never spoke to us or apologized, it was all handled via front desk staff. At a $250/night charge you would hope for better service. I however find this an issue with ALL TRAVEL SITES I BOOK WITH
Pros: Beds were very comfortable. Great view. Very nice staff.
Cons: Indoor pool was not heated. A major reason we booked this hotel was for the pool for our very small daughter, but she was unable to enjoy it because it was way too cold! I will never stay there or recommend it because of this reason.
Cons: The hotel didn't seem to have a fitness room, which would've been nice.

Cons: Not very clean overall, beds were good but definitely showed signs of weAR and tear, spider webs around windows and doors, peeling paint, etc.
Pros: LOCATION WAS PERFECT, VIEW OF LAKE WAS SPECTACULAR.
Cons: ROOM NEEDED TO BE DUSTED, DEAD BUGS NEEDED TO BE REMOVED FROM SHOWER WALLPAPER.
Pros: The view was great.
Cons: Open bar of soap and used hand towel hanging when I went in the room which should have not been there. Inconvenient with all the building separate but that was okay. Creepy guy in the hot tub. Not your fault but ? video camera in there.
the furniture could of been vacuum and around the edges of the carpet could of cleaned! Needs some updating! The toilet paper holder behind the door in the bath room was a pain!
Pros: Water pressure in the shower was great and the view out the patio door !
Cons: the office was to far away from rooms pop and ice machine are to far away the pool didn't look very clean !
Pros: Very clean
Cons: The bugs when we used the stairs.
good for one night but not for longer
Pros: close to where we needed to be
Cons: noisy room, noise from upstairs and from both sides as we stayed on 2nd floor
Pros: The location of the hotel is very good.
Cons: The air conditioner is not that good
Pros: Location, comfort, view, convient for the side trips. hot breakfast what more could you ask for?
For--- you can't beat it. If you're taller than 5'2', the shower is going to be a bit weird for you.
Pros: The view from the balcony on the back of the room.
Cons: The front desk lady was SUPER rude. Felt like I was inconveniencing her by checking in.
Cons: The shower head was mounted very low on the wall. We had to crouch to get under it.
Pros: We really enjoyed the view out our balcony window. The whole environment was calm and quiet.

Pros: Staff was great, and very helpful. The facilities are outdated, and you could tell the place was originally set up for summer use only. Space heaters in the halls, and our room facing the lake was freezing. (Poor seal around doors and windows)
Breakfast was awful !!!! I recommend eating cereal, and fruit, maybe yougart, anything that is prepackaged is ok.
Pool area was nice and had 2 hot tubs was a plus.
All considered it was ok. I say this mainly because the staff was so great! Thanks!
When visiting St Ignace, Bavarian Haus Lakefront Inn is a great choice to consider. For a workout, you can visit the fitness center or go for a morning swim at the indoor pool. A sauna and 2 spa tubs are other highlights, and rooms offer refrigerators and free WiFi.
Pros: Had a good variety for breakfast....biscuits and gravy plus the usual toast and cereal. All staff was super friendly. Wish the pool was open a little later.
Cons: Nothing bad but the light switch inside the bathroom would be nice so that the comedians in the family couldn't switch the light off in the middle of a shower, LOL.
Pros: The price was fair for a really nice room and location
Cons: Queen bed seemed small for a queen

Pros: The room needed a little updating but everything was very clean. Loved that it was right on the lake.
Cons: It was a little too far to walk to the downtown area.
Pros: Best thing about it was being right on the beach! Massive pool and hot tub complex, fire pits and volleyball!
Cons: The only draw back was that the pool and the laundry room both closed too early!
Pros: By the lakeshore. Clean.
Cons: WiFi connection was poor. Had little hot water for shower. Toilet tank took forever to refill.
Pros: Room was clean, view was great, staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: Some fruit , any fruit at all would have been appreciated at breakfast.
Pros: Great location and great price
Cons: The hotel was a little smelly and the shower did not drain while I was showering.
Pros: Great view from the room!
Pros: Clean nice view. Pillows were flat but I forgot mine and I always pack my own pillow so my fault.
I would stay again in a heart beat.
Cons: Not much for a Bfast but the restaurant across the street was amazing so no big deal. And I am a pick Bfast person they had cereal and toast ect...
Pros: The waterfront was great, gorgeous view! We were able to see the milky way and shooting stars. Rooms were clean. The pool was well kept.
Cons: The rooms were dated and smelled old. Breakfast was limited, and did not have healthy options. Overall worth the price.
Pros: Beautiful view of Lake Huron and Macklnaw island. Facilities are a bit dated but the pool is still nice and the price is right.
Pros: Pros: Love the view of the lake!
Allowed us to cancel one of the nights on the res.
Bed comfortable, clean, fridge and microwave.
$77 a night
Decor is from the 1970's
Place is in need of a lot of repair and renovations
Breakfast really bad: coffee, corn flakes and doughnuts. Only breakfast I've ever walked away from with zero to eat.
Pros: Comfortable, clean
Enjoy your visit to St Ignace with a stay at K Royale Lakefront Inn. You can get a morning swim in at the indoor pool, and the spa tub makes for a relaxing end to the day. Bonuses like washers/dryers, refrigerators, and microwaves are in all rooms.
Pros: Staff was very friendly. Enjoyed visiting with some of the guest. The pool was great for laps during the day and a lot of fun for the kids at night
Cons: Would have liked something beside hard boiled eggs for protein at the continental breakfast. I do know that the cost of some meat would be greater. Some people just don't act like parents and their kids literally tell the parent what to do.(not the hotels fault)
Pros: The staff was nice and they had a great chess set in the lobby.
Cons: The rooms are disgusting. The toilet kept getting plugged and there was no water pressure. We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days. The maid didn't clean the room or provide clean towels second day so we had to clean it ourselves and ask for fresh towels. Pretty disappointing.
Cons: Room not secure as window would not lock on first floor. Tacky
carpet. Marginal furniture. Just worn out
Pros: Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Easy and convenient location for any activities in the Straits area.
Room seemed clean and inviting.
Cost on par for expectations overall.
Free breakfast on Sunday morning was better than i could've expected.
Cons: Upon check-in a staff member could not be located to assist me at the front desk even though I was the only one in the lobby at that time. (result of under-staffing the hotel)
Drain for the sink in my rooms bathroom was partly clogged resulting in a slight backup in the morning.
No accommodations to iron your clothing, so if you plan on something nice be prepared.
Pros: It was cheap and near everything we wanted to see. The staff was very friendly and the room was pretty clean!
Cons: This was mostly my fault for not asking if other rooms were available, but being located outside the pool was horrible. It was damp in our room and loud at night. The staff was very nice and I'm sure they would have helped. I should have asked for another room. We stuck with it. Don't get a room near the pool if you can help it!
Voyager Inn offers an airport shuttle (available 24 hours). Guests can get a morning swim in at the indoor pool, and the spa tub makes for a relaxing end to the day. Bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves are offered in all rooms, along with iPod docks and MP3 docks.
Pros: Breakfast was nice with a good variety and the views while eating breakfast were superb! The hotel had snacks for purchase which was a nice option to sit out on the water and enjoy ice cream in the evening. Great location!
Cons: The pool was not well maintained. The water was very cloudy, the hot tub had a lot of dirty foam and debris floating and stuck to the side, and the towels were rarely stocked. Definitely disappointing as the pool is always a highlight with young children.
Pros: Breakfast was good. Room was large and clean.
Cons: Room needs updating (furniture, shower).

This lodging offers complimentary shuttle service to Kewadin Casino, as well as complimentary hot breakfast and complimentary wireless Internet access. This facility accepts pets, as well as RVs and tour buses in the parking lot.
Pros: I would never go there again. They don't offer any comps, the employees were very unfriendly, the pay offs were rediculous. The rooms were clean and the food was good. When I gave them my drivers lincense to sign up for a card, they typed in the wrong name on the card?
Cons: What I liked the most was their bisquets and gravy, outstanding.
Pros: Location and price were OK. They have a nice deck that you can sit down and relax
Cons: Better than half the staff was rude. Really acted like talking to you was an inconvenience when you're asking questions and we had to ask the same question several times to get any answer At all. It's not a very big casino and it was nice that majority of the tables at five dollar minimums. We stayed on Friday and Saturday night and it was really strange that Saturday night they never even opened the craps table.
Try your luck at the casino when you stay at Kewadin St. Ignace Hotel in St Ignace. The indoor pool is a great spot to take a dip, and guests can grab a bite to eat at Horseshoe Bay, which serves American cuisine and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Flat-screen TVs, room service, and free WiFi are offered in all rooms.
Pros: Ultimately a clean room and bathroom. It is old buildings though. But anyhow for a quick stay this is alright. Breakfast is not that good. It's a cheap unhealthy garbage breakfast, so don't count that as a plus. But again for just a place to sleep, this is a good place.
Enjoy your visit to St Ignace with a stay at Cedar Hill Lodge. Guests can take a dip in the indoor pool, and the spa tub makes for a relaxing end to the day. Other features include a sauna, a terrace, and a garden.
