If you are in town to visit students, we are in close proximity to Samford University, Birmingham Southern, and the University of Alabama Birmingham. We are directly next to the State Farm corporate office and approximately 15 minutes away from Regions and Blue Cross Blue Shield corporate headquarters.For any major conventions, concerts, or sporting events, the Birmingham/Jefferson County Convention Center is only a short drive from our hotel. While you are here, visit the Zoo/Botanical Gardens. Enjoy events at the Oak Mountain Amphitheatre and McWane Exhibit Center/IMAX Theatre.Meeting facilities at the La Quinta Inn & Suites Birmingham Homewood are popular for weddings, baby showers, and family reunions.
