Le professionalisme du proprio. L'acceuil. La grandeur de la chambre. La propreté. Le petit déjeuner. De loin le meilleur qualité-rapport prix. Le fait de pouvoir garer la voiture directement à la porte de la chambre. Les vélos de haute qualité. Most professional owner. - The atmosphere. Space of room. Cleanness. Best deal for our money. Park the car right at the door of the room. Bicycles.
the cleanliness of the room, the welcome of the owner, the nearness to the town and motorway network.
Very nice Motel good decoration inside and out, good parking helpful and friendly staff, excellent value made us very welcome, we will certainly return.
Comfortable night's sleep
Very friendly welcome, English spoken well.
the welcome and friendliness of the manager and staff
Spotlessly clean, with new furniture, comfortable bed and a good-sized bathroom. It's a 3 minute drive away from the charming Honfleur touristic centre (where parking costs just €3 per day). I'd also very much recommend the generous breakfast. Staff was very welcoming and bicycles are provided for free. All in all, this hotel is extremely good value for money and we definitely would go again.
very helpful manager-clean modern room
The hotel owners were exceptionally helpful and welcoming. Generously offered to drive me to and from town (unsolicited). Very comfortable speaking English. Rooms are good-sized, well-lit, and tile floors throughout give room clean, fresh feel. Special touches like towel warming rack, WiFi internet access, and a small table and chairs outside each room so guests can enjoy the beautiful gardens.
Excellent breakfast, with lots of variety and choice
perfect location, friendly staff
The hotel was delightful - the reception staff were exceptional. The fact that parking was available was also helpful. We enjoyed our time there. We thought the prices in the restaurant steep.
This hotel is outstanding. It is expensive, but you get personalised service and attention in return. The restaurant is outstanding. This is a place you should go to if you can forget the price of things. Old fashioned quality, style and personal attention. No spcific comments
The room and location There was a family next door to us with 5 kids running around all night. Odd for this type of establishment.
Location and beauty of the hotel Breakfast expensive
Easy to locate on road into town but not far from centre. Tea and coffee available in room. Handy parking.
close proximity to the town
Friendly staff, good location Parking was not included and needed to be paid for by the day
Clean,Comfortable.Superb position.Excellent breakfast.Secure Parking worth the reassurance at 10euro.Front room overlooking outer harbour.Efficient lift.
friendly staff and good service, well positioned for Honfluer centre with good car parking facilities.
Its closeness to everything that matters in honfleur The hotel staff were first rate
The hotel enjoys a good location for the centre of Honfleur and has good facilities in the room as well asthe hotel in general. The breakfasts were excellent value for money.
Close to town centre
Good position, just 5 minutes walk to the old harbour where there are a wide selection of restaurants, bars etc. which serve both evening meals and breakfasts. Rooms were absolutely fine. Rooms at the front are noisy due to traffic. Not clear that there was secure parking to the rear of the hotel but the public car park just over the road was fine.
The hotel location is near the harbor where all the action is taking place. The room is well aquipped and comfortable.
Unfriendly and unhelpful staff; Not impressed with the hotel room's cleanliness; The setup of the duplex was not comfortable as there were no chairs to set in only beds.
The staff was amazingly helpful and friendly!! We had some car trouble and the staff called the rental company for us and had the issue solved. The staff also recommended a wonderful restaurant that we walked to while our car was attended to. The breakfast was quite nice and the lobby was great for relaxing in.
The helpful staff. In our room, there was a dormer which I had to duck each time I went to my twin bed. This was not the best situation.
Pleasant and helpful staff, rooms were very comfortable and location is good for discovering Normandy and Honfluer Hotel only does breakfast, no restaurant
The staff was friendly and helpfull and the rooms were very tidy
Breakfast was good. Puzzled about poor reviews on this point. Parking easy; pleasant surroundings. Well maintained. Our 2nd visit. While there was a shower over the bath, this had to be hand-held due to lack of shower screen.
Room was cold, towels too small, Grim location near industrial estate. Breakfast expensive
Nice view of Pont de Normandie. Good pool. Convivial.
Pleasantly surprised by our room and the maid service. It was also easily accessible from the main road. Disappointed by the decor of the lobby, and the spa was quite limited. Website makes the hotel look more modern than it is.
Free Car Park and Location from Town Centre Cold Pool, No Tea making facility in room. Poor shower facility, No Mirror in room. Poor lighting over bed for reading.
Good, clean room, probably a bit too small Excellent breakfast in the beautiful patio room Great historic interiors, lots of original furniture and art Very good, friendly and efficient service Very good location Can't say there were anything we didn't like
Nice big room, helpful personnel. (I booked the "Double Room" for 2 Nights, pls correct info below)
the building is typical french with lots of original features. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
Our host and the entire staff were so welcoming, and the Hotel was a work of art. The art work and beautiful buildings were ourstanding and the location was a short walk from the center of the city. Free parking was a plus after spending $45 a night to park our car in Paris. We really enjoyed this hotel.
Really great location, safe parking, wonderful setting and very characterful. Staff were very pleasant and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. The breakfast was expensive and poor. We walked to the harbour area the next day and had a far better breakfast for half the price.
Convenient Location and friendly servicre
Excellent postion within 5 minutes walk to centre plus parking at hotel.
location to town and ease of parking
Steep stairs up to bedroom and head-banging beams
The fabulous bathroom Lack of evening meals
Had a nice view of the water There was no m ention onthe booking that we needed to pre book a car park space
View from the room. Interior colour scheme.
The hotel is old and not keept with proper maintenance.
Great location, 50 meters from the beach, a lot of cafes around. Very helpfull and friendly staff.
Room lay out and view Poor breakfast arrangement. A meet and greet would be better.
The boats the entourage the beds
The hotel is fairly basic but clean and very well situated. It could do with a bit oof paint in the public areas.
the location it was hard to find because the signage was poor in Trouville. We had not stayed at a "Latitudes" hotel before and didn't know it was marked as "Beach Hotel"
Location and heated pool Strange odor in room
Sea-view room attractive; position next to the Casino excellent . Helpful staff. Superb location for soaking up the atmosphere of the great painters who came to Trouville - Monet, Dufy etc. Indoor pool was good but needs covered access from hotel.
Very helpful in changing room to one on ground floor. Good food. Exceptionally good bathroom with our room. Pleasant aspect. Friendly.
Their cancellation policy as I had to cancel a return visit because of flu. No compassion at a time of anxiety.
Very calm and senior people is everywhere. This hotel written "DOG FRIENDLY", in fact they accept the dog, but they are NOT welcoming the dog, even though dog friendly is only interesting in me,...
Unfortunately, we only stayed for one night. We thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and would recommend it to others. The only thing we didn't like was the cost of the breakfast. It wasn't worth 17 Euros each.
A beautiful medieval hotel. Sympathetically refurbished to its original state. Reception staff very helpful and spoke good English. Food of high standard and worthy of a luxury hotel. Location overlooked the Estuary and the view across was of the oil refinery. Too far out of Honfleur for walking when only staying for one night.
Nothing Room size awful, not much bigger than a prison cell and three beds packed into it.Breakfast area too confined and for 6,50 euros for cheese-marmalade and bread a rip off,but hence I suppose you get what you pay for.
beautiful location and very peaceful, value for money limited choice of menu
Very friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Good food served in the restaurant.
The breakfast was excellent (price 9 Euros) This is not a hotel, it's a motel. In other words, the bedroom door and window gives direct access to the "garden" or the parking lot. We booked a triple room for 3 adults but received a small twin room. After complaining we were told that there was a third small bed that had to be retrieved from under the other two beds. The room was not large enough to hold 3 beds so the third bed blocked the whole room. The twin beds were based on clean comforter but the third bed had an old blanket and was far from attractive to spend a night in. The amenities and towels were only provisioned for 2 persons. We also booked an additional double room and the bathroom wall was sticky and dirty.
We visited Honfleur and it was easy to come there and park in the city. We only slept and had breakfast. That was excellent. no
Location, restuarant, staff friendly and helpful, rooms good and well appointed and parking free. easy access and close to Honfleur centre No bar so after a long drive had to wait to gey abeer with my meal
Close to my appointment venue
Friendly helpful staff. On site restaurant.
The position. A little run down.
Overall high quality for a 3 star. Restaurant choice too limited.
The room was nice, large and comfortable. The hotel is situated in calm place. The parking area is large. Wi-fi free of charge. You have to understand that for all activities, restaurants, beach you will go to Deauville or to Honfleur. It's better to have a car or pay to taxi 25-30 Euro in one side.
Indoor pool We were not told restaurant has to be booked in advance, which meant that we had to eat out, two of our three nights at the hotel!
The room. No porter to help woth baggage
Beautifully appointed hotel. Lovely decor and service excellent. Not able to have a bath as the bath plug did not work. In the hotel bar the spirits were greatly overpriced, particularly brandy.
Very roomy and clean and lovely Bathroom Nothing to dislike
The room was good and the hotel was clean and nicely decorated The staff were not helpful, nor could they book us into the restaurant or treatments in the Spa despite booking a superior room for 2 nights.
location staff rather unhelpful almost rude
Location, position, ambience, service Absolutely nothing - couldn't fault the service, accommodation or the food
Clean hotel in a nice setting No choice evening meals , breakfast poor , no lounge / no bar to relax in
Magnificent, stylish hotel. All in a country house. Very nice, cozy and cute. Excellent facilities. 10 minutes drive to Honfleur.
Very nice scenery and relaxing atmosphere NO
Pleasant surroundings and lovely garden with stream and ponds. Hotel was rustic and recently renovated and was in good condition. Our room was so small . no space even for a bedside table. Resteraunt doesn't have enough space to accomodate all guests for dinner so we didn't eat there.
The gardens, peaceful, relaxing.Proximity to Honfleur,Deauville.Breakfast very good.Lovely looking auberge. Room very basic.British TV didn't work.Dinner set menu and expensive. Can't get a meal unless you book. No tea or coffee in bedroom.
Friendliness of staff. very nice garden. No choice of Menu for Dinner. Bathroom rather small.
The location was lovely the hotel was rustic but smart. Staff helpful and my dog was welcomed. Lovely walks and the area was super.
Very stylish and big room with great bathroom. Very good breakfast. Big garden with small ponds and fountains - fantastic place for relaxation.
We made to feel at home in beautiful surroundings.
Staff, comfort, food
Close to the town No bar although you could buy drinks at reception
The staff were pleasant and helpful, the room was comfortable and reasonably spacious, and the hotel was well placed close to the centre of Honfleur. The price for breakfast was a bit high (we tended to go round the corner to breakfast at half the price) and the hotel could do with a proper bar/lounge.
IT WAS VERY CONVENIENT FOR TOWN FACILITIES IT WAS VERY NOISY -WE FOUND IT DIFFICULLT TO SLEEP. THE ROOMS WERE WARM AND THERE DID NOT APPEAR TO BE ANY AIR CONDITIONING IN THESE. IF THERE WAS WE WOULD HAVE USED IT AND SHUT THE WINDOWS TO KEEP OUT THE NOISE.
They're very friendly, clean rooms and no administrative problems No free parking space available
Friendly Staff Thought it was a bit expensive
One of the only hotels in Honfleur with a lift which was a prerequisite as I was with my grandmother (90yrs). Hotel was also nice as it is central, so not a lot of walking for her. Staff was fine, hotel was clean. It was quite ordinary. Nothing to write home about.
The staff very friendly and helpfull the duplex bedrooms great travelling with husband and two teenage sons plenty of room.
Central Location. Good car parking adjacent to hotel. Attentive staff. Clean, basic accomodation.
Central location. Easy parking. Friendly staff.
location was excellent for all the shops etc The disconnect between the hotel and the 2nd suites across the road where we stayed was annoying. It didn't actually feel like we were staying in a hotel. Also the stairs were very steep and tricky and the sofa bed very uncomfortable for 2 people.
Free internet. Computer available. Nice ambiance. Clean and beautiful decorated rooms.
we loved our room and the hotel staff was very friendly and accomodating.
The decoration of our suite. Lack of parking
Very special maison in the heart of Honfleur! We were detained due to a French labor action and called ahead. The proprietor made dinner reservations for us due to our very late arrival. A wonderful service that that we very much appreciated. We would return whenever in the general area.
close to the shops and restaurants
The hotel was very pretty/charming, several hundred years old, and in a beautiful historic town by the seaside. Breakfast was good. The service was indifferent
Very charming, very romantic , very very french, perfect location. We are dreaming to come again and of course will recommend this hotel to our friends. Nothing - everything was the best.
Excellent location, comfortable room, luxurious bathroom and beautiful decoration. Breakfast is very expensive. The early morning noise in the square is disturbing - but not much you can do to control this!
We liked the tasteful and elegant decoration, the simple breakfast featuring some local products, and the location. The staff members were kind, helpful, and courteous.
This B&bB facility is a beautifully preserved and centrally located old house but rather expensive for the quality offered. The open bathroom is not a very good idea. The signpost of the "hotel" is so small that we could find it with difficulty. The owners are very friendly, however.
Good standard bed and breakfast accomodation. Very friendly and knowledgable staff. There were 10 in our group so I had a chance to see five of the rooms. The standard was in general very high, however, the room that I stayed in was rather spartan and awkward to access compared to the others of a similar price.
The place itself! Everything!
charming place , in the middle of the town, next to the nicest place, i.e. Le Vieux Basin .Still, complete silence. Nothing special, except it would be nice that they install a small frigo bar in the room, with some drinks.
rustic ambiance which goes lovely with its own town, Honfleur...very convenient location in the center...would love to go back there again... shower facility might be renewed in order to provide a seperation between the room.
The hotel was centrally located and offered an excellent view of the Honfleur harbor. The staff were pleasant and helpful, and the breakfast was quite good. The standard room was a bit tight and the hotel seemed to be overly heated.
Location,freindly helpfull staff
We very much enjoy our short visits to Honfleur when we always stay at Le Cheval Blanc. The location is perfect, the hotel wonderfully quirky and very convenient. Thank you.
room view no kettle or tea making equipment, no bar or restraunt, decor poor and cracked
The location is excellent. On the whole staff were very friendly and dealt quickly with one problem that arose. The bed was far too hard and I had very little sleep.
The most things I liked if this hotel is the calmness and also I liked that the hotel is near the market.
It was very close to the centre, with a good view of harbour. We had to use the public parking nearby, which could be a problem in summer period
Looking a bit worn but a fantastic location at a great price. Our room was large with a great view. Huge bed. Good Breakfast (at extra cost) I suppose some people could find having to use the Public car park an issue
Proximity to harbour
Difficulty of using the high speed Internte.
Extremely friendly staff, lovely location, everyone most accommodating.
the room was comfortable and clean , parking private and free as was wfi if you want to leave early morning before 8am you have to make arrangements the night before as there is no night reception. the walk back from Honfluer is up hill and a hard slog
The owners were wonderful. The price was very reasonable and the room was small but clean. The bathroom was large and very nice. It was a short walk down the hill to town - perfect for us.
confortable beds and good heating more like a motel than a hotel but without room facilities of a motel
Very cheery staff, and good location.
peaceful, welcoming and excellent value, 2nd visit in 6 months, but definately not the last.
The location is within easy walking distance of St Catherine's and the Old Port, the room we stayed in was large and the bed I slept in was the most comfortable I've found (so far) in France! The pillows were firm - just as I like them! Breakfast (additional cost) was served in our room when we wanted it, which was nice too. Because the room was large, it took a while for the heating to warm the whole area, but once it did, the room was very comfortable.
Charming appearance of hotel Self contained rooms
Friendly & informative staff. Breakfast served in room on request.
Great location, quite area, away from the noise when you tired and would love a good night sleep Absence of tee or coffee favilities in your room for the price paid-82EU per night
