Very clean and up dated
Room was small but clean. Staff was incredibly friendly. Just off interstate. No restaurants nearby other than burger king.
The room was newly remodeled. It was very clean. The front office staff was extremely nice and accommodating. Cedric the assistant manager was great. We had a rough day before arriving & he managed to give us a few laughs & great customer service.
Location / Price N A
Staff was very rude, the smoking regulations were ridiculous
The staff was exceptional friendly and helpful! We came on Sunday so the hotel restaurant was closed, there were no close restaurants, and 3/4 delivery menus we were given were invalid! :(
This is a large, older facility but the rooms have all been refurbished. It is an old-style, outside entrance motel but is generally well maintained and has a cafe on-site, which is convenient. This is a budget hotel and as such it is nicer than most. My room had not been vacuumed very well as I found numerous pieces of dog food on the floor. Otherwise the room was clean.
Late check out The bed had a sag to one side
Staff was very helpful and friendly Right on hwy....too much noise from traffic. Beds were not comfortable.
It was a place to stay...thankfully just one night. Ammonia smell, staff not friendly or helpful
Breakfast was only average. Breads, pastries sub par.
Place is disgusting and should be shut down for mold remediation , maintenance and deep clean. Health department should be notified of condition
I was stunned that so impeccable and extremely helpful hotel is near a road 75. Great Job !!
Was put in handicap room
close to 75 and plenty of parking The check in process was extremely slow And the room smelled damp.
Hair on the pillows.
Well appointed rooms with super comfortable beds. I would rate it higher if all the rooms we stayed in didn't smell so bad. The smell and the staff were just ok.
Homewood Suites was a great place to stay for our extended trip. The staff was very attentive and made us feel like family right from the start. The cost was also very reasonable. The location had a country feel to it, yet we were within city limits and close to everything we needed. The free breakfast was repetitive and uninspiring. It seemed like the hotel was more concerned with quantity than quality. Real orange juice was rarely served (this was Florida), and when it was served, it was diluted. The eggs appeared to be made from powdered mix. The breakfast meat was sausage 22 out of 23 days. Several times, the kitchen ran out of butter or muffins or danish. We were handed Lorna Doones as a substitute. The evening reception was a nice idea, but it fell short of our expectations. Hors d'oeuvres would have sufficed. Instead,we were served salad and tomato soup or meatless macaroni with sauce and salad. Once, during our 23 day stay, sausage was added to the macaroni. We did not attend the Asian night. It smelled horrible.
Beds are very comfortable although pillows needed to be a little more supportive. Rooms were very nice and the kitchen was a nice surprise. Staff was very nice and accomadating.
Great room layout, plenty of room for traveling with two kids under two. Comfortable bed. Things weren't overtly dirty but just seemed old and not super well taken care of, broken outlet covers etc.
the separate bedroom + living/kitchenette is best, especially at this price.
Place was very clean and the price was right. Breakfast was not great... Eggs (or so they are called) were very bad.
The location was good with plenty of parking. It was set back so it wasn't right at the highway and there was a nice park behind the hotel. They accept pets and this was a nice place to walk your dog. The woman who cleaned our room was very nice and accommodating to our needs. Celestina was her name. Refrigerator did not work, Breakfast buffet was not included. Did not like the carriage attached to the sweet horse.
TV would not play movies rented. Received refund, but would of liked to watch the movie. Maitence explained it was due to over head clouds. Cable provide by direct tv.
Excellent service, both at front desk and center bar. Food I had at bar was outstanding, and the bartender (male) extremely kind and efficient. Room was clean and decorated beautifully. Especially loved the horse cookies they supplied for our horses! A suite on my floor was rented out for group party Friday night-very loud and disruptive. I have already sent a complaint to corporate.
Location and pool area. Noise travels too easy. Woken up during the night just from normal conversation next door. Had to keep A/C @ 65 to feel like 72.
2 out of 4 light bulbs were out. Advise giving a good hand full of bulbs to someone and have them check them all.
clean and updated!
Very clean hotel and well taken care of. Bed was soft, but otherwise, nothing to critique.
Excellent customer service, the staff was super friendly and very responsive. Room could've been slightly bigger but the customer experience more than made up for it.
Great Hotel good location just off major highway
General facility. Beds are comfortable. Quiet. Staff is very pleasant. Can't really think of anything.
We thought the hotel was very reasonsably priced. Breakfast was good..typical hotel food..
We were pleasantly surprised by how nice the suite was that we stayed in. My fiancé and I had never stayed at a Hampton Inn and it was a last minute booking, so we weren't exactly expecting quality but it was! Since we got in at 2:00am, we asked for a late checkout and the staff completely understood and allowed us to choose the checkout time! I had never had that gape at other hotels. I enjoyed the breakfast and found that there was a variety to choose from. There wasn't much seating for breakfast and ended up sitting on the couch and used the coffee table, which wasn't the most comfortable way to eat.
There was an issue with the A/C in my room. Sometimes it was too cold, other it was cool, but stuffy. The room smelled musty. Not sure if that was a cleaner or disinfectant or part of the A/C issue. I don't plan to stay here again.
comfort, nice décor, clean, quiet, good breakfast
We were put on the 6th floor, which is SMOKING. Lady at the desk said that is what people who book online get- and they wouldn't move us- offered to "fog" the AWFUL room. So smelly and disgusting. My clothing still stinks. Couldn't sleep for the smell. BEWARE!!!!!!!
The beds were really comfortable best sleep of my trip ! Rooms were big and set up very different from other hotels I stay at . Only thing wrong was fridge wouldn't get cold ! Told them they said oh . :(
Locations close to expressways, took less than 2 mins to check in, been to other hotels that take exesively long time trying to find my reservations, and when you are tired from being on the road want to just go to sleep asap....this place was super fast to check in...the rooms were pleasantly nice, found available free parking, breakfast was average. I would defenitely stay here again on my next vistit to ocala.
Air conditioner in the room never got the room below 76
Our room with a very comfortable king size bed. Our dog was permitted to stay with us. Needs more sound proofing
We had a great time.
Breakfast was good. Couch in the room was a plus. Bathroom was not clean. A/C didn't work correctly. Beds not comfortable.
Everyone was very friendly. The breakfast here is good. Very clean.
Staff was great! Not enough seating in lobby or breakfast area. Air conditioner and bathroom fan were so loud that sleep was interrupted. Room got so humid that bathroom tissues were wet. Pool was closed---in Florida.
Great service that we've come to expect time and time again. I ways look for a Quality Suites wherever I travel. Never a disappointment.
When we checked in that night front desk lady wasn't very pleasant. Clearly she disliked her job. No welcome. No smile. Barely any eye contact. However lady when we checked out was wonderful.
Looked and felt renovated and simple but clean No breakfast, internet slow
Clean room and bathroom. Comfortable beds. Very friendly front desk staff. Well maintained. Walls are paper thin. Could hear everything. Husband had to ask neighbors to be quiet at 2:00am. Bathroom sink had no hot water. A/C is either freezing cold or it was burning up with out it.
It is completely no smoking and pet friendly. Also good value. No breakfast but still prefer this over higher cost.
Got in late and the staff acted genuinely concerned. 'Wow we worried that something happen and you were not going to make it''Glad you're here'. The room was excellent, ground floor, easy to get to and clean. Felt like I was treated like a king.
clean and quiet nice people for sure
Clean Room by ice maker was noisy
The staff was outstanding from beginning to end. The clerks behind the front desk provided excellent customer service, the quality you might hope for at a 5 star hotel. Not at all
This guest did not leave comments about this hotel.
Very nice place. Clean. Room was great Nothing
Awesome efficiency style rooms
Airconditioning thermostat did not work in our room. We ere given a different room immediately and they made sure we did not forget anything in the move. The previous room was repaired the same day. Everyone was supperhelpful and very friendly. Bed was a little hard for my wife but I slept fine.
The room had lots of space and was comfortable. The bathtub faucet needed repair.
Nicely furnished, comfortable and a feel of quality with privacy being respected!
Clean and close to everything you may need. Turkey bacon at breakfast.
Breakfast was better than expected. Employees had a good personality Mattress was dirty, so was the walls in the bathroom and walls in the bedroom. TV remote batteries were he'd by scotch tape.
Staff were very friendly. Location was excellent. Front desk staff called my room, woke me up and asked me to come to the lobby 'cause their computer system was down and they needed to process my payment. Roaches in the bathroom. Unsafe sliding door.
No breakfast available in morning Loud ac unit No breakfast available
Clean rooms nice pillows
clean room, breakfast included, convenience to I75, nice pool area and lots of trees. room odor and not the greatest part of town, room needs TLC/updates, carpet replaced or cleaned.
It was on the first floor. The room was horrible. There were no outlets near the bed. The toilet didn't work. Ants in the bathroom. Sink faucet was loose. There were roaches on the bed. The outside lights didn't work outside the room. lights were burned out inside the room. The air conditioner was so noisy it made it unbearable to sleep. The TV had an ad on it the entire time while watching. If you hate your family. Bring them to this hotel. It was the worst and I wish i never stayed there.
I like the staff, easy check in and check out, overall the place was ok. the walls were a bit dirty.
The hotel staff was very courteous and registration was handled promptly.Rate was fabulous, room more than expected. Loved the hot waffles on the breakfast bar, No
Clean rooms. We have stayed here a few times and will continue to. More attention could be pa8d to the room. You can tell tgey dont vacuum close to the walls as the carpet is dusty next to the walls. Tye fridge made a loud high pitched humming noise. Shower curtain bar was falling off. Vanity was slanting diwn badly and my toiletries were rolling off onto the floor. Main light in the room did not work. Small things that could easily be fixed.
We went to the mall food court for dinner.
The vending machine had Coke in it. There was a continental breakfast, but there was some mold on the bread. The walls were falling apart, filthy overall, burns and stains on the sheets in the first room. :( the shower would turn off all the way, the fan in the bathroom was broken and appeared to have a dark colored residue on it.
The price was decent for a good location near Orlando on New Year's Eve. Somewhat basic, no-frills.
This motel is your stereotypical white trash, run down, pay by the minute lodging. Most certainly not worth the amount it charges, a disgusting place with absolutely no redeeming qualities about it. Where do I begin? The second we walked in, we were greeted by a rude neanderthal of a woman noisily chewing her gum and asking us what we wanted..we brought our luggage upstairs and around the motel in what seemed like a neverending labrinyth under the weight of our bags we were carrying. The room we stayed in had mold in the shower, thin curtain like blankets, (I'm still not totally convinced those weren't curtains) bugs in the room, a used bar of soap from the last guy that stayed in our room, no kleenex or toilet paper, one washcloth, hardly any towels, an old tv (the 90s called, they want their tv back), the ceiling had water damage and looked like it will most likely cave in within the next few months,. So in conclusion, I will never be going back to this motel or any other Motel 6 for that matter.
Nothing... I didn't like driving for 12 hours just to pull back the cover and there's a roach in my bed and one takes off on the other side of the bed where my young daughter tried to lay down. Dirty floor in the room you could feel it on your bare feet. The shower was disgusting! I also didn't like that I couldn't get refunded until the manager got there at 7AM just to say there was no roaches, just a dead lady bug and still charge me for a night when we were there just minutes and left. Last time I checked roaches don't wait for managers, I took a picture of the roach in the bed, showed the night desk person and she even agreed with me that she'd be leaving too if she were me! Don't stay here!!!!
The front desk staff that I interacted with were very pleasant, but apparently working under difficult physical property conditions. First off this is an old property, but that should not excuse conditions. If our room was any indication of the rest of them, shame on them. Peeling paint, poor water pressure, no hot water in shower. We had a dbl/dbl and one of the beds had a noticeable sag from a broken box spring. There was a lack of working electric outlets and a bulb was missing from a lamp. The majority of national motel chains today offer amenities such as a microwave & small refrigerator. These are available for $5 extra per item, per night, and they don't have enough to go around. There was supposed to be a Continental breakfast, I never saw any thing more than coffee. My wife asked the GM about the breakfast and was told it was $20 extra. Apparently they don't understand the definition of continental as it applies to the hotel/motel industry. The grounds could have been cleaner, a lot of trash around the bushes and stairs. Guest laundry not centrally located and on 2nd floor. Ice machines not convenient unless your room is near one. Pool was not clean either. These are not $60 a night rooms. Had I not received a significant discount through Kayak, I would have stayed across the street at Days Inn or one of the other motels in the area. Someone needs to call Tom Bodett
Very clean , could not ask for a better experience! Price was right .. Breakfast fantastic ' room was perfect ' great , great , GREAT !!
Cleaning and Organized
NOTHING Had to ask for a refund, Hotel is dirty and gross. Had my 3 kids with me, had to find a new hotel. Thank God for AAA! Kayak terrible customer service,in the Philippines. Can't understand a word. Won't be a return customer or suggesting this company.
Breakfast included. Staff was very friendly. Was fine for passing through but I would not recommend staying longer than a quick night. Not good for kids. No high chairs, space for a pack n play or areas to run around. Pool is very tiny. Elevator and numberous guest smell strongly of weed. Seemed more like a place to have hotel parties than a family place.
Microtel is a great value. The staff could have been a bit friendlier. Outside trash cans would be a nice convenience for the guests.
Nothing First room was dirty.. Then moved to a second room only to have one bed.. this was after we were told they where full for the night. Had to go online and book the room.
We actually sought out this motel for a repeat stay on our return from southern FL. It is away from traffic, has a surprisingly complete breakfast, and the staff were extra helpful on a couple of details. Our room, on third floor, was quiet, comfortable and clean.
Everything was nice. Room was clean. Staff was pleasant.
The place was clean and really quiet considering how close it is to the I75. This Microtel was difficult to find even with a GPS. It is tucked into an area behind a service station next to a TSC hardware store. If you miss the very small sign there is no way to turn around without going under the I75 to make a U turn and head back for a second look. They really need a bigger sign at the entrance. Unfortunately the breakfast was lacking and sent us to the Cracker Barrel across the street.
the staff was ok, room was cleaning. It's right on the road.
The look of the hotel was very nice, and the decor in the room was good too. I liked the overall casual environment of the place. The location was pretty cool - in downtown. The owner of the hotel was helpful letting us in pretty late at night. First, the hotel has been really lazy in returning the extra money authorized for damages (they did an auth transaction twice - once during the booking, once during the stay, and only one has returned). Secondly, the owner's jokes made us uncomfortable.
Staff were friendly and room was clean. no.
It was very cute and cozy. The owner was so nice. I love that each room was different. The room was very clean. The water was hot and water pressure was great. It was like a vacation in a vacation!
The staff was very friendly and the rooms were very clean Nothing
This Best Western was very nice - up to date and modern in its furnishings and appointments. The bed was very comfortable. The A/C was quiet and handled the cooling and heating well. The motel is located just off of I-95 at Ocala, yet you could not hear any noise. There are restaurants and shopping nearby. Staff was helpful. Overall value for price was excellent. The breakfast area was a bit small, but not too bad. Food choices were limited, but certainly adequate. OJ and coffee were not top notch, but still good.
Cleanliness, organized, good customer service Congested area, no nature views
Nothing. The staff was terrible when I checked in. So rude! When this pet friendly hotel found out I brought my 5 lb teacup Pomeranian, the woman Boots treated me terribly! The hotel smells awful, the beds are like sleeping on a rock, they are truly the single most uncomfortable bed I've ever laid on. Parking is impossible. All around, made it so I will most likely never stay at another Best Western again. :(
I liked that it was close to restaurants. Since the hotel is right on the Interstate it was loud all night due to traffic on I-75. Also, the room smelled very musty. Almost like mildew.
Very friendly staff, clean room, well insulated against the I75 traffic noise compared to some other hotels in Ocala. Bed comfortable and plenty of hot water in the morning.Plenty of restaurants in close proximity to the hotel. Will stay again when I travel to North Florida. Nothing. Better than I expceted for the rate paid
