Pros. The location was fantastic for visiting the museum district.
Cons. The staff was not well organized and not attentive. The decor was disappointing after having stayed at the Dallas ZaZa.
Pros. The overall look and feel of the Hotel .... You feel like a rock star tycoon during your stay.
Pros. Nothing
Cons. The attitude, mentality and character of the Concierge.
Pros. We booked the fantastico suite for $245 and when we arrive and mentioned it was for a birthday the receptionist hooked us up with the Black Label suite that was simply unbelievable. The room must be over $1000 per night. One of the magnificent seven suites. Will certainly stay again! Thanks Zaza fam.
Pros. The service was spectacular and well above expectations!
Cons. I loved everything!
Pros. Hotel Za Za is a beautiful hotel and very luxurious for the money. Old hotel charm with a flair for the creative. Always a wedding or some special occasion going on keeps it lively but not loud. The balconies have some great views. Service is very good and staff very friendly and helpful. Room service was very good but not great. Lovely pool and small spa.
Cons. Houston sun is hot and our AC struggled in the afternoon sun. We even had it looked at but it didn't seem to help. Blackout curtains do keep light out but evidently not the heat. Still the view was spectacular from 8th floor.
Pros. Interesting design, fun rooms, great staff
Cons. Musty carpets, smoked-in rooms, mediocre room service
Pros. The car service. Truly great. Location as well. Food is good. Massage was great.
Cons. ZaZa has changed. You will find lots of drunk business men at the bar and hookers. Not fun when you travel alone for business and art. The staff seems to be more occupied with themselves then you.
