Gave me a suite
Being inside the airport and being very quiet. For the amount of $$ the room was, I find it insulting for the hotel to charge over the Internet usage. Its an old business model that has to b changed. Absolutely not acceptable.
At the airport so very convenient Food in restaurant a bit expensive
We liked the proximity to the airport, the staff, size and cleanliness of the rooms. The sliding, louvred doors on the bathrooms.
Location - convenient for flights. Appalling lack of maintenance including: An electrical junction box with an extemporized, ill-fitting metal cover through which exposed wires could be seen, Shattered tiles in bathroom, Peeling wallpaper, Cracked sink, Stained carpets, Beat up furniture - scraped, scratched, chipped. For such an expensive hotel, this room was unacceptable but it was really late and we had a 6:00am flight next morning so we slept in it. I informed the clerk upon check out and got "So sorry, thanks for staying with us, bye". My advice: take the shuttle to an off-site hotel.
This is a very nice new hotel. What sets it apart though is its location. It is right in the airport steps from international terminal. Though more expensive than typical layover hotels, the convenience to us was more than worth it. No shuttle buses or taxis!
Watching the planes landing and taking off; being able to walk the concourse of YVR and people watching. We could hear the neighbours talking at night while we were trying to some sleep before an early morning flight ... not very sound-proof.
View of the airport was amazing, And completely quite.
It's very nice to be able to walk from your gate to the hotel and vice versa. The staff is polite and efficient. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The only real drawback is the price of everything. Vancouver is an expensive city, and airport property is expensive, even in more affordable cities, so you can imagine how expensive YVR ends up being.
Very polite staff n efficiency in dealing with luggage. I had a bag full of smoked salmon that needed to be kept in the freezer overnight. Done.... Nothing.
We just stepped off the plane and into our hotel. The bathroom doors didn't allow for complete privacy.
Proximity as well as view from our room. Breathtaking. Even with the view of the planes taking off we heard nothing because of the great soundproof windows. That our stay was too short to enjoy everything.
Proximity to the airport All he had left was 1 smoking and 1 non smoking room (I booked 2 with Kayak). Both smelled really bad. Even the bedding was heavy with stale smoke. In one room the AC was so loud it kept us awake. In the other room, it didn't work at all. Bathroom was clean and towels were okay but the carpet wasn't vacuumed properly. I'd never stay there again. When we left in the morning, the hallway and elevator smelled so rank that I gagged.
Hotel was awesome we loved the pool but wished there was changrooms in the pool area overall five starts for sure
This hotel is not far from the airport. Staff are friendly. The facilities are enough for short stay, such as an indoor swimming pool and a table pool. Restaurants such as Tim Horton are nearby. Shuttle bus is provided to and from the airport. As we only stayed for a night for layover, it is good enough. The hotel looks outdated. There is only one elevator for all floors. One ice machine is located on the lobby for all floors.
Location re: airport. Difficult finding when returning from city (from north).
Bed and pillows were comfortable. TV was nice. Also, having a frig was handy. Too much furniture crammed into small room. Our microwave did not work.
I liked the free shuttle from the airport but the shuttle broke down & we had to drag our luggage about a mile. Nobody's fault. The room was nice for a one night stay. We had no problems. Hotel personnel were very friendly. I don't really have any negatives to mention
Close to the airport Room was stuffy and cramped. Trash under the bed. Did not have a clean feel to it. Check in staff never smiled. Think I will try air b&b next time
Located near the Vancouver airport, shuttle. First (non smoking) room smelled like an ashtray. second room had stains in various areas of the rug. We found bits of food in the bed linen. The hotel is aging and needs a refresh. And it needs to polish itscleaning procedure.
The room was clean. Check in/out was easy. Good restaurant next door. The television didn't work and the Internet was so bad that it may as well have not existed.
Not much. Continental breakfast was the worst I've seen. TV didn't work Wifi was really slow. Bed was uncomfortable. Heater just blew cold air very loudly and constantly all night. Had a very poor sleep, at best only an hour or so.
Room was a good size and well equipped. Shower was great. Food in the attached restaurant was quite good and reasonably priced. Very convenient location - easy access to the freeway into Vancouver. Parts of the hotel are showing it's age, but as long as you can live with that it's a good option,.
Great location enabled us to get to the airport quickly. Quiet on the floor.
Hotel is clean and neat. Every 20 minutes on the hour,24 hr airport transportation in and out of airport. Very nice. Thanks.
Location near airport Shuttle bus from and to airport was excellent Rooms are dated and need refreshing. Food at Pier 73 needs much improvement. Breaskfast on the other hand was excellent and staff very attentive and cordial.
Very close to the Vancouver Airport. Free WiFi!
Clean , neat well land out, love shuttle from airport. Food in Pier 73 leaves a lot to Be dired. I had pasta and it was awful. When I come back I will go Into town to eat. The food at Pier 73
First time I have booked through kyak and when we got to the hotel we were not given the room we booked and paid for a deluxe king room but a much inferior queen room. We had to go back to the desk and complain and we're eventually given a king room but not a deluxe room. The hotel told us they only give out rooms they have if you book on line not the one you paid for. Won'the using kyak again. H
The airport shuttle was fantastic!
Clean, front desk was helpful and courteous
Check-in process: Very friendly and helpful lady Jasmine. Pier 73 restaurant was very good. Nice lobby. Clean room. Comfy bed. Quiet despite proximity to airport (others complained about this, maybe it has to do with which side of the hotel your room is on). Available parking was scarce. Elevators were slow at times. No bar other than Pier 73 restaurant.
Clean, modern, comfortable, easy access from airport My room heat was broken and it was too late to move, too late to have a maintenance guy come up so I just asked for some extra blankets, which were delivered. When I complained in the morning upon check-out, I was disappointed to have not been offered anything other than a brief sorry by the person checking me out. As I had a plane to catch, I didn't have time to take it further, but it honestly didn't even look like it was recorded for later inspection. I"m sorry for the next person in the room!
Close to YVR, great restaurant. Hard to get to, no free parking, no pool
Very clean, comfortable beds, friendly staff, great location, close to everything. none
The resort, food, beverage, room service and staff guaranteed that we will return. Thanks Nicole ( in training) and Britney
Friendly staff, modern facilities
Winthin walking distance to a lot of good dining and shoppong, and next to public transit station.
The friendliness and helpfulness of the Front Desk staff - excellent nothing
Room was very spacious and comfortable but was, unfortunately, next to the elevators. This resulted in a very noisy evening and this noise commenced again early in the morning.
One of the things that make this a really great stay for my is it is so close to the Skytrain. I cannot be bothered to drive in Vancouver and having the train so close makes getting around the city so easy. As for all hotels the staff make or break the hotel. This one has friendly and knowledgable staff. The hotel was spotless, which tells me the staff I did not interact with are also great at what they do.
The facilities and location aree great, if you need to stay to fly. The gym and hot tub also a plus, free Internet and public transportation to downtown just outside also many shops and restaurant lesss than a minute walking. The reception staff just perfect, they go the extra mike to to make your stay very comfortable. Nothing
The water from the tap tastes better than most bottled water. Quite sweet. This hotel is new, located by the airport on the edge of Chinatown. There is a large asian grocery store behind it, along with multiple options for a quick bite. Easy access to airport and main roads. $4 for the bottle of water in the room is a bit of a trap for oversees travelers still foggy from the long flight.
Close to supermarket & train station The town is almost Cina
Friendly Don't have toothbrush and toothpaste in the bathroom
Close to the train station. Very convenient
Although the hotel was situated out of the city it was very well serviced by public transport, which made it easy to get around. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Clean room, close to airport, dinner was easy. Location, no where to walk, had to drive up north for everything we wanted. Pool was old/dirty feeling, did not stay to jacuzzi. Wouldn't stay there for vacation.
Location was most suitable to our needs Freindly staff
great location for prior to a cruise! restaurant has excellent menu! delicious and healthyh!
Very comfortable bed and pillows - Everything I needed was in the room. Check in and out were very fast. It was an enjoyable stay and the location was perfect.
Good location - upmarket service You have to go through the parking garage to get to the gym - and it was cold!
convenience location Extra charge for everything. food is very expensive
Beautiful location and elegant decor. Room and bedding very comfortable and spacious. All service was friendly and prompt. Bellman was especially helpful with information and very courteous. Very enjoyable.
This is the perfect hotel to be close to the cruise terminal as well as for sightseeing, right next to Gastown, Chinatown, and the Skytrain. Had my reservation for a king sized bed, and when I entered the room, it was 2 doubles. Went down to get it changed, and the staff member (Elena?) said the rooms were fully booked and said that "the king sized was just a request". I persisted that I reserved a king and paid the price for a king, which was clearly printed on my reservation confirmation. She went to the back room to check with her manager, and finally came back out to change my room to a king size bed. It was a little troubling to have to put up a fight to get what I had reserved.
Beautiful place to stay for my first time in Vancouver. Close to everything downtown.
Staff we're very helpful and accommodating Room was super clean and surprisingly quiet considering how busy the hotel was Super convenient location Internet charge was a little outrageous
Proximity to the cruise ship terminal. Easy to get anywhere in the city by walking, bus or subway (Sky Rail). Extremely courteous staff, very helpful. Will definitely stay there in the future. Nothing
the curteous staff, efficient, friendly, helpful and obliging we had bad weather
Lovely hotel in a beautiful location. Very comfortable, stunning views. Spending a lot of money on a 5 star hotel is OK but to be charged extra to use WIFI seems greedy. In 5 weeks in Canada this is the only hotel we stayed in which charged. It was also the most expensive.
Room quality - shower, faucets, tv,towels, robe No mini bar. Inexperienced desk agent
the room amenities were very good and it was comfortable stay. the security was very good also and the staff was very friendly. the restaurant was extremely over priced and a turn off. this was the first $9.00 bowl of cereal that I have ever seen. location left some to be desired also.
Very nice rooms, spacious. Restaurant was also excellent. Close to airport as well.
Did not feel overcrowded. Modern, new hotel and very clean. Easy access since it's nestled away from main traffic and pedestrians ... so quiet. Nothing.
Efficient check in. Well appointed room. Good location for airport.
Well keep, maintained, beautiful rooms, very nice staff dining area needed cleaned, very high price food
the beds were awesome; excellent time
The airport transfer was great, good service and running on time always!
Front desk staff, ALL staff, efficient and personable. Food in Apron, and room service, excellent. Rooms were sumptuous, quiet. Loved the tub and shower. Location was perfect! nothing to dislike.
Free shuttle to airport, close to restaurants and prise.
Very good shuttle to the airport
For a busy trip in progress the staff at the hotel were completely helpful to make things go smoothly. Many Thanks
There's a rubber duckie in the room, which is cute. The beds are nice and the grounds are well kept. The signs are cute and kind of funny. The first night, the key didn't work. After 11am the next day, the key didn't work... so I finally said I wanted a key that worked out ENTIRE stay. When I checked out, the staff was a bit dismissive. The place in some ways is a traditional hotel, in other ways is trying to be kind of a fun hipster place.
Considering the price, this motel was incredible. They were able to locate a room on my preferred floor, even though they seemed to be quite full. The room itself was nicely appointed - more like an upper level facility than the mid-rate chains. Lots of little touches to help out tourists. Staff always friendly, helpful and positive. Everything needed was easily available. Gotta love the ducks. Shuttle didn't seem to run on time, but the drivers made efforts to get back up drivers and vans involved as needed.
The staff, the location, so clean, free shuttle to and from airport. Would happily go back. Thank you Kayak for the great price and service. Nothing.
We like to stay at this hotel as it's affordable and in a great location for travel. The rooms seem to have undergone an update and they felt clean and comfortable during our last stay. It's one of the few hotels that gives you exactly what you need at a great price. Accent inn doesn't overprice themselves like many of their competitors! We find it challenging to get from the airport to the hotel on the shuttle and usually opt for a taxi instead due to the long waits. This is never the case when we take the shuttle from the hotel to the airport. It's not a big problem but there is room for improvement there.
Overall the hotel was clean, especially for the price we were paying for just one night. Didn't spend much time at the hotel, but the front desk was helpful in providing information on getting around to the Vancouver area. There were a few times the toilet in the bathroom kept running so we played plumber. No other complaints!
The funny little sayings and admonishments here and there. Upgraded to a kitchenette.....so what not to like. Recent reno is perfect. Polite and helpful staff at hotel. Our favourite place to stay. The rubber ducky in the bathroom. Very clean and excellent bed. The shuttle driver at the airport could have helped us with our luggage. We had to take it with us into the cab. I guess my wife with a cane didn't impress him enough to move.
Location, access to airport van, use of bikes for the day. Room clean, beds comfortable, staff helpful and friendly. The air conditioner was noisy
Very comfortable beds, quiet, clean, friendly staff, close amenities. Heater/cooler is pretty loud, fridge not cold enough and couldn't adjust it.
The free airport shuttle was nice although we had to wait 40 minutes for it to arrive. The beds were comfortable. Shower pressure was low. This is a motel and I had expected a hotel. The parking lot was noisy overnight. Musty smell in room.
Loved being in the middle of the action on Robson street & walking to all of the shops. I did not like the tiny bathrooms.
The front desk was very helpful. Being on one of the upper floors was great for the limited view of the water.
Great upgrade, the view of the City was great.
good location and great confort. Could do with wi-fi No wi-fi
The vibe and location is awesome! Nothing. All was great!
the view, the location, overpriced, hotel just generally need an update and some attention to detail if they're going to charge those rates.
The staff was very friendly. The location was very nice. The view was amazing. Lots of noise. We could hear neighbors just talking and laughing until 2:30 in the morning. You can hear all the traffic and business noises. No information on simple things like ice machines or vending machines.
I'll come back to this hotel . Everything is
The kayak listing didn't specify that this was in the "hotel at River rock" not the resort side as it was listed as. Sort of false advertising. Rooms were smaller on that side but still ok.
I was visiting Vancouver to attend the Women's World Cup. The River Rock Casino Hotel was very convenient to downtown as there was a metro stop on the Canada Line that was connect to the hotel. Eight stops and 20 minutes is all it takes to get to the Vancouver City Center station.
The best Location in Richmond, the best coffee is free, funny swimming pool, and nice staffs. Self Parking too far.
The pool Na
Right by the sky train. Easy to get to it from the airport & to get down town.
Liked the location Didn't like the staff: not nice at all! Didn't like the facilities: too big, not clean, very crowded, the gym was stinky and old, the restaurants were worst than a school cafeteria.
We've been staying at the casino hotel since it first opened years ago. Richmond is two hours away from Seattle so the River Rock is an affordable overnight getaway several times a year for us....especially since the Night Market opened in the adjacent parking lot. The suites are spotless and the in room safe and small fridge is a nice touch. Have never had a bad room in either hotel tower and the buffet and Sunday brunch in the Dockside cafe are okay. Parking garage is poorly located and a pain to drag our luggage through the casino floor or outdoors in weather, not a real positive last impression. The rooms are showing its age. Mattresses are sunken....floor tile grout missing and or needing sprucing up in our bathroom....bath wallpaper edges are peeling away from the baseboards...one of only two West elevators was operable all weekend long (second time in the past two visits). and although the bath linen was more than sufficient, the towels are far from luxurious and feel thin and rough. There are several hotels in the immediate area that we've stayed at whenever the casino was sold out or required two nights reservations. I would never want to pay full price at close to $300 a night....ALWAYS check several travel websites before licking yourself in.
The comfy beds
NIce rooms, great location. So close to the Richmond Nite Market, it was within walking distance. This hotel has a lot of amenities like the water slide and pool, free wifi and parking. Great selection of restaurants within the hotel. Although this is a casino resort and it family friendly and provides amenities that are convenient and fun for the family. the complimentary parking is a bit far from the entrance. Wish there was a closer entrance to the hotel without going through the casino. We couldn't enter through the casino because we had children with us.
Gorgeous resort with immaculate hotel room. The woman checking me in at the hotel was trying to dissuade me from taking the sky train to the airport, saying that the train "wasn't dependable".
The staff were amazing. Everyone was friendly, greeted guests with smiles.
Great stay, with an amazing weekend buffet. Came for the gambling, but enjoyed the relaxation and attentive staff.
Nice rooms. First night had no AC but hotel made it right and gave me a meal voucher for my trouble. Restaurant was average at best and over priced. Denny's on property was good. 1.5 mile walk to public transportation.
Hotel is modern, well-featured and well-located. Yellow stains on sheets. In-room heater very, very noisy and thus unusable. When staff were notified of these items at checkout, they took note of them but made no effort to offer compensation.
Room was very comfortable, and also enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pool facilities. Great location for wanting to be near Richmond and also Vancouver. AC in the room was broken.
Broken air conditioner, dirty pools and TV remotes missing. Everything is a little worn out. Wifi is useless.
The beds are extremely comfortable There is a different Sandman hotel on the same street as the "Signature Sandman hotel." It is extremely confusing. Also, you need a room key to use the elevator, even to get down to the lobby!
Staff was courteous. The place is clean and tidy. There are restaurants on site and nearby although it's a bit lack of selection. The waterslide was a nice surprise. Door key does not work every day. There is one day that I had it changed three times, one time was back to back, up and down twice. I told them if it did not work the last time, they would have to come up to my room since I was having arthritis flare-up. Walking up and down two times at the end of the day with my flare-up was not fun. They kept telling me it was my phone then my credit cards although they were kept separately, one in my coat pocket and the other in purse. In addition, it still did not explain the back to back two times in a roll. It is just ignoring.
Free access to adjoining Steve Nash fitness center Wifi connection was poor and slow
Air conditioner did not work and was blowing warm air into the unit. Very hot evening no sleep. So sad.
Staff was very friendly and helpful.
The view was great, location was great and these made our stay perfect. The room was clean and maintained during our stay, the staff was courteous. All in all happy at the end.
Requested to change room due to the noise, The stuff found us a different room at 2 in the morning. Stayed a night on the 17th floor, the elevator sound was very loud through out the day and night. I couldn't fall asleep at all.
The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful .the accommodations were only so so and paying $300 USD for a $100 room was a downer.
Great location, worth the extra money for the harbor view. Lots of great amenities, including use of the bikes because you are so close to the seawall and Stanley Park. Nice and friendly staff. TV often didn't work and had to restart it many times.
1/ Location 2/ Friendly, helpful staff 3/ Great view from the breakfast room. 1/ Parking was a joke: expensive, very poorly laid out, difficult to find the way out and the way in. 2/ I found that $20 for a continental breakfast left me inclined to eat more than normal in an attempt to get my money's worth.
Excellent access to the cruise terminal. A very comfy environment. We walked and used public transportation to make our way about the city, staying 3 days and two nights. We had no negative experiences or observations.
Very nice and helpful staff. Awesome location. Nice lobby, restaurant/bar I booked a king but got a room with two twins (or two EXTREMELY small queens), bathroom wasn't very clean and bed and pillows were not very comfortable.
Pinnacle is clearly an older hotel that has had a high style interior makeover. The lobby, cafe/bar and the guest rooms are all very stylish. For quite reasonable rates our room had harbor and convention center views. The room and bath were nicely appointed. Quality coffe was offered for the morning The exterior is lack luster and the elevators have not been upgraded and feel a bit rickety. Our room was a hallway away from the core and we could hear them on and off all night. All in all it out performed expectations.
We stayed here while attending the Sea Wheeze festivities. We loved how close the location was to the convention center and the Stanley Park since that was where most of our weekend was spent. It was very nice stay. Would definitely stay here again.
location Restauarnt tawdry: all furniture worn/torn, seriously in need of refurbishment. Security panels on doors and high-pressure door closers give impression of ongoing issues re security - perhaps unwarranted, but questionable.
Proximity to harbor wall, Stanley Park, and Robson Street for all kinds of entertainment and diverse dining experiences. Rooms are spacious and parking is handy.
The location is 2 blocks from the harbor, easy walk to convention center attractions as well as harbor walk to nearby Stanley park. The hotel, though very nice is showing its age, mostly in exterior architecture & room hallways. The pool/spa was a bit dirty and not very well lit. The lobby makes a great first impression but diminishes with interaction with the rest of the spaces...
Everything was delightful, except for figuring out the parking, which was also expensive, as all downtown parking is. Perfect location, lovely staff, extremely comfortable rooms. And to think we almost stayed at the Four Seasons! That we didn't get to stay longer!
Service was impeccable. Facilities were well kept, rooms were beautiful. A bit pricey without a discount, but absolutely amazing.
Rooms. Service. Location.
Excellent furnishings. Nothing.
Outstanding customer service from staff at all access points. I also appreciated that while they do have an award-winning fine dining restaurant, there was also a more cost-effective cafe within the hotel for more simple breakfast and lunch options. The location is a plus; we have stayed at other hotels closer to the water but we wanted to be further in the heart of downtown to be closer to art gallery & shopping; Rosewood Hotel Georgia was perfect. Thank you Kayak for making luxury a little more affordable!
Dining facilities were very good & well priced. The shuttle service to Vancover airport was excellent. Thank you.
shuttle service to airport. It was only an overnight stay
Convenience to airport Far away from downtown Completely Asian area that are not open to others
Peaceful location and efficient staff. Absence of a dining area and bar
Every person in the hotel was great. We booked a day tour of the city and after waiting a long time, they arranged a private SUV with a wonderful guide to take us (6). When we got back to the room, a tray of fresh fruits and bottle juices were waiting for us along with a note saying they were sorry for our long wait for the tour bus. It was not the hotel's fault. not a thing
The shuttle pick up was timely. Checking in and out smooth. Guidance for getting around was professional personal and courteous.
easy come & close to airport.
Easy access to tons of restaurants and stores. Near the airport. I stayed at 5th floor where wifi was weak. It is not only slow, but is very annoying that my browser on the phone refreshes every a few seconds after connecting to their wifi. In addition, I have to login every a few hours to keep connected.
Location and amenities in the vincinity of the hotel. No Safe in the room.
Staff were helpful, hotel close to air port and had a shuttle.
Convenient location to Vancouver A/P and easy access to downtown Vancouver. It was Canada day and there were no food services available. However, we found a good restaurant at the adjacent mall.
Not much - surly staff - uncomfortable beds - dirty bathroom - bad coffee - for $219! a night Never again
The hotel was nice and clean and the staff was friendly. I will stay there again. The $5 fee for parking was not a big deal, but the garage was not full. It just seemed unnecessary.
Comfort and clean Customer service
The location was perfect for an early morning flight. The staff was very pleasant and the room was clean and comfortable. This was the best hotel that we stayed out during our three week trip.
Choose due to location near the Vancouver airport. Shuttle service was timely and driver was helpful. Breakfast was more that expected. Front desk attendant was quite helpful in obtaining boarding passes for early morning departure. All in all, a very nice stay.
The airport shuttle has 4 seats and was full each time it came. We waited 2 hours then cancelled our reservation
Clean, decent in-room amenities (not just coffee and microwave, but plates and utensils) Location was not convenient. Lobby didn't even have coffee service. Customer service was marginal at best -- I was traveling solo with a baby abs couldn't even get help hauling the luggage cart and baby up to my room. Not as good as other hotels at similar prices.
Proximity to venues without being in the busy hub of city traffic. Bed was comfortable and pillows were fluffy. cleanliness and house keeping were very good. $5 per day for parking, get real !! Restaurant dining choices without having to drive are Macdonald's and Fogg and Sud's !! No shopping within 2 blocks walking distance.Quality of the in room TV was so poor ,we did not consider renting a movie for in room viewing an option. $2.00 for a 300ml bottle water ! These sell for $2.99 for a dozen at local drugstores( Thankfully Richmond's tap water quality was excellent ). But it does give one the feeling that you are being gouged for a very minimal attempt at service
Comfy and simple for what I required for one nights stay. No fridge in hotel room, nor a safe.
Just stayed one night, but the room was delightful. A chaise longue was a lovely surprise, along with a lap desk for writing. Quiet in spite of being very near the airport and next to a freeway. Much more than the bare bones the price suggested.
Good location - convenient shuttle service that is close to the airport, easy to get into Vancouver, really close to the night market. Customer service very responsive to needs. Free breakfast (wasn't fancy but did the job if you had a full day ahead of you), WiFi (not spotty for me at least), parking. Didn't notice anything that was lacking. Things went pretty smoothly. It wasn't unclean but I would have liked it to be cleaner; but that's just me and I like things to be super clean while my friend was perfectly fine with the level of cleanliness.
A few positives: very pleasant and helpful staff, close to airport, free parking, a continental breakfast. Room was not well maintained - stains on carpets, wallpaper discolored and curling up, holes in towels, evident accumulation of 'gunk' in AC. Overall low value for the price - another hotel nearby higher comfort/value, same price
Easy access to public transit. Extremely comfortable beds. A really good breakfast service Decent wi-fi The staff actually pay attention to the do not disturb sign on your door Windows that open Refrigerator and coffee maker in the room Shampoo that smells like candy Good view of the mountains on the north side of the building I was in a corner room and the bathroom was a bit small. I don't know if other rooms have the same problem or not but that was mildly annoying as I have broad shoulders. Incidentals deposit was NOT disclosed until arrival. It should be disclosed upfront.
front desk fellow was superb
Close to airport. Quiet. Friendly, helpful staff. Free parking. Airport shuttle does not run early enough for 6:00am flights.
Due extremely late arrival(4.00am) because of flight delay was greeted by a very friendly night manager who made check easy even offering hot drink before going to bed.As we had an early start we down to breakfast to be greeted by the lovely lady in dining room whom proceeded to make us a hot waffles an couldn't be more helpful. No
proximity to airport bathroom waas very cramped
Cheap, Nice rooms and Nice people. Miss something to drink om the fridge.
The shuttle service made it convenient. The staff was helpful and suggested an excellent place within walking distance for dinner. The room was adequate. The breakfast was decent.
The staff, both at the front desk and in the breakfast room, was exceptionally friendly. The shuttle to the airport was on time and took only about 10 minutes to get to the airport. The breakfast was simple but delicious! (They even had fresh waffles) They could have cleant the air-conditioner/heater system inside, too. When we turned the heat on there was a bit of a bad smell. I guess it was due to dust inside. It was not too bad, though.
Okay for the price. Breakfast was fair. I did not have a credit card, so they charged my debit card 250 dollars for deposit. They "refunded" be when I checked out, but I never got the money back in my account. So instead of 80 dollars, this hotel room now cost me 330 dollars for the night.
The house keeping service is terrible. We asked for housekeeping to change my sheet and towel, they gave me attitude. Instead of change new towel, they just folded my towel and put them back.
Staff were friendly. Our room was spacious and clean. The room's air conditoning unit made too much noise.
Standard breakfast. Comfortable bed, friendly staff. The air venting was not optimal in the room. Cleaning rooms; they didn't add the bathroom utilities (shampoo, soap) till we explicitly asked for even when the bathroom was running out of them.
Quiet location with fast access to Richmond and Vancouver city center and the international airport. Cinema (IMax) accross the street as well as three dining locations. Air condition used for cooling and heating tends to be noisy.
Very new and nicley furnished and decorated. Great amenities.
The hotel is excellent, the room was spacious & wi-fi is a plus. The airport shuttle was the reason I stayed at this hotel, and as the driver pointed out to me it is the only hotel not in the YVR flight path so it was very quiet at night. It is located next to IMAX and Spaghetti Factory. There is no store nearby so the hotel carries alot of snacks and even some frozen dinners as there is a microwave in the room. It was horrible weather, and I would have liked in house movies, but not a necessity.
I loved the suite which allowed us to store milk for our toddler. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the flat screen TVs. The breakfast was okay. The bathroom was too small for a family of 3. The towels for fitness center and pool were usually empty but it was a holiday weekend.
Close to the airport, quiet rooms, clean bathroom Poor breakfast
Light airy room. Comfortable bed although a little on the small side. The hotel-rooms-pool and public areas absolutely spotless.
I felt very relaxed and "at home" at this hotel. It is very important to me to feel comfortable where I am staying. The pool was very small and very open for passersby to look in since it was on the way to the elevator and it was beside the lobby.
Asian lady Ladina or something unusual like that was wonderful helpful and personable
clean for the price of 75.00 beds were horrible, mattresses need to be look at
Not too much. The best thing about the hotels are reviews of the hotel. I was expecting some very clean modern hotel but no it was old and not very clean I booked the hotel for at least getting a shuttle ride to the airport. While yes they do have a shuttle, it only runs after 6 am which doesnt work for getting a ride to a 6 am flight. I also was booking it in Canada and believed that I was booking in Canadian Dollars but it was actually USD. It was super overpriced, I had old lipstick in my bathroom from the person before and overall was not satisfied at all.
Clean, close to the airport and a good value for the money.
The hotel was close to the airport and had a free shuttle. Check in was fast and they even had a razor so I could shave before my flight the next day. The room was dingy with lots of marks on the walls. The TV remote barely worked. The shower curtain rod was held up by two deadly looking pieces of bare metal that were barely affixed to the wall. For nearly the same price, I got another hotel near the airport on my return that was 10 times the hotel- clean with no ghetto repairs anywhere, was clean and well maintained which La Quinta was definitely not, had a view over water, and a free shuttle to/from the airport as well.
services and the cleanliness limited parking

The hotel and its staff were very efficient and its cleaniness was great! Nothing!
