John and Liz were great hosts who had gone out of their way to make us feel safe and comfortable for our first post-lockdown trip. From hand sanitiser in the room, to table and chairs (stowed away) in case you preferred to eat in your own room rather than the breakfast room, and high levels of cleanliness - this was a very comfortable trip. It was also our first trip with our 6 month old baby and John ensured before we arrived that we were in the most suitable room for our requirements and was happy to discuss any questions I had before we arrived. The breakfasts were very good, tasty and good quality food. It was everything you wanted from a B&B plus a lot of personal touches that really helped make it stand out as somewhere we would happily return to - all that and it was in a great location, easy to find, lots of free street parking and only a few minutes walk from Hunstanton centre or Old Hunstanton beach, perfect!
The only small gripe we had (which we didn’t raise whilst we were there so could have been fixed I’m sure but it wasn’t such an issue to us) was that the hot water in the sink in our room took a long while to come through - although it was absolutely fine in the shower. I think it’s because we were in the further chalet lodge in the garden so perhaps the water heater needed to work that bit harder - but once it did reach us it was hot and good water pressure.
Hosts were lovely and so supportive when our dog was hurt while we were out .perfect room and fabulous breakfast .bed was so comfy and spotlessly clean . Superb bathroom .
Nothing everything perfect for us
Rooms were very nice, comfortable and very clean, lovely garden area for when the sun shines
Could not improve on it
Nice to be in a separate cabin in the garden. Would be excellent for a summer stay with a pretty little garden to sit in right outside your door.
Very friendly couple run hotel. Nothing is too much trouble for Liz and John. Made to feel very welcome in their lovely hotel. Room was super clean and comfortable. If you are looking to stay in Hunstanton, give the main hotels a miss and try and book into this little gem.
There was nothing to dislike about our stay
