We took the train to the Alcansak station, and arrived late at night. We accidently wandered into a VERY sketchy area, with all of our luggage and two small children! Thankfully, we were able to get online and quickly book the Ramada Izmir. A taxi took us there without any problem, and the stay was very nice for the price. Breakfast looked impressive, but not great tasting. Staff was very snooty; they obviously thought their hotel was the best the world had ever seen.
Clean, comfortable hotel with very helpfull staff. Good location in easy walking distance to waterfront.
good value for money
Design and location beside the service and price.
Excellent breakfast, very helpful service at front desk (despite some minor communication challenges with english) - arranged excellent tour of Ephesus at price cheaper than tour companies could offer. Short walk to waterfront (good sunsets) and great local restaurants, such as Servet.
The hotel is fairly quiet but not in the best neighborhood. Walking distance to the waterfront, bazaar and train station. Room was a bit small. Breakfast is very Turkish. Only one English langugae channel (NBC)
The tripple room was small for three persons
Luxury hotel at a very low price!Big room, all the facilites offered by a 4/5 star hotel. Best breakfast had in Turkey. All that you can imagine in big quantities and excelent taste. The location could be a negative or positive point, it depends on your needs. The hotel is about 15 minutes walking from the sea, but near the bazar.
Work in Progress,
The rooms are very small and dark. It is too far away from the sea.The location of the hotel is very poor in a small alley. The buffet breakfast was limited and looked stale. Did not like anything. Total waste of money and time. Never stay again.
Price Rooms were too small and stuffy.
The people were very friendly, and the hotel very nice. The rooms are very small.
nice breakfast, nice rooms, nice place and super massage in hammam and sauna... everything was perfect...i ask people who will make reservation SC INN hotel staff is really bad and you understand it after you stay in this hotel...
Excellent Service, Superior Room but a very bad neigbourgood! The hotel is situated in a bad neigbourhood, which I did not know. I would not reccomend this hotel for couples or women, because the hotel is located in a women unfriendly environment!
Very nice rooms, nice place, еxcellent service & staff.
Spa, massage All good no comment
The hotel staff is not friendly. There was lots of cigarrate smell in the room though it's non-smoking room.
Comfortable and friendly and the fruit on arrival excellent
It was a superb stay, during which the staff shown cooperation from the moment i stepped into the reception area. the rooms where very good in design and arrangement and cleanliness. the booking was easy and as for the money i was more than satisfied.
This is my second stay at Susuzlu Atlantis and probably not the last.I find it good value for money and the fact that my car is parked in a garage gives me peace of mind in a city where parking can sometimes be a problem. Also I like to mention that the staff is very curtious and helpful. very dim light wich makes it difficult for reading
i liked a lot the fact tha the hotel was in the center of the town. In addition, the hotel staff was cleaning the room every day. the hotel staff didnt know english! Very tiring for any communication. The reception staff was not very friendly and hospitable
Extremely convenient Hotel for my needs.
It was ideally situated for our purpose. Plenty of transport was available. Also close to International Fair. I did not like my glaass of orange removed each time I went to the breakfast buffet. Whilst eating breakfast I did not expect staff to be cleaning and polishing around me.
Convenient location, no noise during the night, free wifi, friendly people The quality of the breakfast, the cleanliness of the room, old sanitary ware.
First, the quality of room equipment and amenities Second the locatrion, with freearking inclusive, close eveywhere Third the friendly manners of the staff Defintely an hotel to recommend In our sopecific room ( 503) the air condition did not work properly, and I think was because filters were not taken care as should be, but in general we are satisfied with the service.
The help and advice form the front desk staff was excellent at all times. They were frinedly courteous and very professional Dinner at the restaurant was quite poor - we chose a' la carte & so many dishes were not available, and almost no deserts. If we had known that in advance we would have gone elsewhere.
The situation The room smells tobacco
Fortunately, very close to the historical downtown, bazaar streets, Kadifekale, and railway station. Has an own parking facility. Maybe too old-school, every square meter "wears" yesterday's design.
Serviceminded staff, free map, information, tea and fruit at arrival. Close to long distance buses, and to the railway station, even close to shopping areas.
the room was clean, we had clean towels every day and the breakfast was nice, a lot to choose from. the bathroom was not that nice and it was small. the hotel is situated next to the mosque, so every day at 5 a.m. the singing awakes you.
The design and the size of the room is excellent. The room size was very big and roomy, even for three adults. The room had a lot of sun shine because it had many windows. The location is very handy, near all public communication facilties. A lot of take away and restaurants nearby - within only 1/2 minutes walking distance. The agora is only 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The grand bazar and the jetty is only 15 minutes walk. I wonder why this hotel is classified as 2 star. It should be 3-star. The hotel staff were very helpful. The breakfast is usually served from 7 am. Since we will catch early bus, the staff organized early breakfast for us at 6.00 am without asking this favour. Thanks for this.
Reception staff was very helpful. Almost impossible to find.
Very friendly staff, very safe, despite being in a rather ambivalent surrounding. WiFi in the room, minibar, a small courtyard where one can sit and relax and have a beer. You get much more than you would expect for such a price!
The hotel staff was friendly and courteous. We booked a quadruple room; they upgraded us to a suite at no additional cost because it was available for the night. My daughter left her journal and pen in one of the drawers; we called the hotel and they mailed it to us the next day. Rooms were nice and clean, newly remodeled. Parking was on sight with a guard in the parking lot. Came out the next morning and they had washed our car for us. Service was excellent in this hotel. The location is rather difficult to get to, even with the google maps we used. In a very confusing part of Basmane. We speak Turkish and so we were able to get around and ask; however, if you do not know the language, I would suggest asking a taxi driver to take you straight to the hotel rather than trying to find it yourself.
The hotel is located within walking distance of the train station, which is a huge plus when you are hauling luggage. The staff was courteous and very helpful providing assistance when needed. The facilities are spotless and since the hotel has been recently renovated you can still get that brand new feeling. The rooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated with an energy saving system. Amenities such as toiletries, paper slippers, tv, and minibar are provided.
The staff were always very courteous and very helpful. They sent a bellman to our car show us the way into the parking lot.We had fresh fruit waiting for us in our room. The man at the desk got our reservations to Chios. Shampoo, shower cap, etc. all provided. Pens given to us when we left..
very good, they wash my car also free.
the room was clean and luxurious, with thoughtful attention applied particularly in the bathroom. there was a flight of stairs to the lifts in order to get to the rooms, however the sexurity guard was always very helpful. the lock on the inside of the room is not child friendly as- all it takes is the child to pull the door handle which unlocks the door automatically. the swimming pool was also too cold for comfort-we did not go in, which is a shame as it was beautifully designed
The design of the hotel was modern and attractive. Our standard double room was spacious with a very clean and attractive bathroom. Unfortunately, we found the reception staff quite abrupt and unhelpful when we arrived.
Enlgish speaking staff. Room was comfortable especially for the price. Location was the weak point
I enjoyed the comfort offered by this clean, well located hotel.
Good location, within a block of the downtown bus station overpriced for what you get sterile atmosphere
very nice desing and location in izmir
pool is available but vey small very noisy due to the works in the street, up to 1 o'clock in the night. My windows was
Hotel was in a quiet neighborhood close to the Grand Bazaar, Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. Hotel staff was friendly knowledgeable and rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable.
The hotel is really excellent!
Breakfast buffet was expansive and tasty. The hotel staff was the most friendly we had of all in Turkey.
i liked only the breakfast everything must be improved. no sheet available for the bed. everything in the room was danaged. the lift out of work.
Location. Room was clean. Front desk was helpful. Altough i've reserved the room 3 days before, room was not ready at the arrival, we had to wait about half an hour to check in. We woke up at 7 am at sunday morning because of the noise made by room cleaning staff, opening and closing doors constantly, which was so annoying. There was no dustbin in the room except the one in the bathroom. There was no chair in front of the mirror. Curtains are very short to prevent sunlight.
Centrally located. Restaurant service and food quality was very good. Very noisy at night.....sounds of doors slamming, people talking through the night. One night, they were filming a movie just outside our door between 1-3am. I'm not referring to home movie, but with up to 10-15 people involved complete with equipment.
Nice reception, staff willing to help, clean room, small but sufficient for the purpose of overnight stay.
Staff were always helpful The carpet didn't look too clean to me and I like to walk around barefoot in my hotel room. This time, I kept my shoes on!
Part of the staff was helpful and I got myself with a good room view. It's placed in a dirty, poor city area, as you will remark mostly during the night. The hotel has an unmaintained look. The only available (improvised) parking is in a backstreet area that i wouldn't visit even with Google Maps.
Price was ok. staff was ok too. If you need cheap acomodation for couple of days it is just average. I would not recomend this hotel to couples or families it more suitable for male friends. Rooms need maintanace. i and my friends did not fell very comfortable with the ambiance and other hotel residents. It was bit low profile hotel. spa centre, hamam and swimming pool(if there is one) is not in the hotel it is in the next building and you pay for it extra.
Ok price and location, polite staff Serious leak in the bathroom, noise from the street, room not especially clean, run down place in general
Good value for money, location is nice if you don't want to stay in the middle of the touristy Sultanahmet area. Very friendly staff, clean room.
Nice staff. Too noisy rooms.
customer service was exelent, manager was wonderfull ,Mr Zaki Alan was very helpful giving a wonderful information to us
very good hotel for a low price, very good breakfast included
The receptionist tried to trick us when we had to pay for the rooms. We argued with him for 15 minutes until he admited that he was asking to much money. So be carrefull. On the other hand, the sheets in the room were not very clean. Also, I had a hard time finding the hotel with my GPS, so I suggest you print a map if you plan to go there by car.
