Pros. Breakfast was great every morning, and the rooms with a view of the pool are a nice view as you see the mountains in the back. Franklin coordinated all of our activities perfectly, and professionally. The place is extremely clean from our experience. We also loved having a washer and dryer in the room.
Cons. A little too hot in the hallways, and our friends' penthouse 3/3 had nearly no water pressure and the bath tub was unusable the whole time we were here. A lot of things had to be fixed in their unit throughout the stay. We had none of these issues in our 1 bedroom kitchen suite.
Pros. Cleanliness, modern
Cons. Not always hot water, not much sunshine in the pool area
Pros. You can literally spend your days here just lounging by the pool, eating pizzas and drinking mojitos. The pool can get fairly busy so stake out a spot early if you want it all day. Alternatively, there are a lot of activities (paragliding, zip lining, atv tours, canyoning, walking/boating tours) within a very short distance and a lot of the companies offer free pick up from Oceano. The rooms were very nice with good air conditioning, comfortable beds and access to english TV channels if you really feel like just bludging. Food was good with a wide range of pizzas available as well as burgers (and they weren't over priced!).
Cons. It's really a minimal complaint and doubtful too many people would care but the gym could have used an adjustable bench to increase the range of dumbbell exercise you can do. That's such a trivial thing I debated even putting it in here.
Pros. Everyone was really nice and very helpful; the rooms were clean and cozy; enjoyed having access to the pool.
Pros. The front desk was helpful - Brian and Franklin specifically, the others didn't care to help. Helpful meaning, they were courteous and went the extra mile to get us answers. Brian helped us book our tours while we went to grab lunch. We came back and he had everything ready for us. The hotel is beautiful and the pool area was comfortable.
Cons. Low water pressure in the shower. Air conditioning took about 6 hours to get started to cool your room so you are sweating when you get settled in the room. They greet you with juice when you check in. I would go with out that moving forward if they could. We got excited thinking it was champagne but it was a not cold juice or tea with an old cut strawberry slice in it. We didn't like that at all. The thought of it was nice though. Instead, greet with water or have a water station in the lobby for guests. That's more useful.
