8.3 Excellent
Pros: It was nice and clean, for a two star hostel it was perfect. The staff was friendly and kind. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean, the towels and bed sheets changed after the first night. The beds were very comfortable, too. Airconditioning was working well.
Cons: It's above a restaurant and I spent a weekend there, but the Spaniards like dining till 2:30 am and the noise was unbearable, so loud. Wifi very slow and I got disconnected very often. It's a little further from the centre and bus station, about 15-20 mins walk.
7.5 Good
Pros: Perfect location on the train station. There is a restaurant from the same owner next door in the train station. It's not haute cuisine, but you can have a cheap and decent eat.
Cons: The train station is not near the city center and also not very close to the bus station, so if you're looking for that this isn't the right place. Toilet is leaking. Trash bin too small. It is damp (with a little smell) in the room.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The accommodation was in a great location, close to public transport, supermarkets and a big local park. The room was small but very clean. While it is not the type of room you would want to stay in all day due to its small size, the little desk was handy and the accommodation was cheap for what it is.
Cons: The halls were dimly lit, but I was close to the staircase so it wasn't really an issue or me.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Close to town centre and historic area.
Cons: Very small room but adequate

7.9 Good
Pros: Address hard to find with GPS
Cons: Had some small ants in room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Convenient stop off on a long trip from southern Spain to northern Germany. Only a short distance from the motorway. The hotel is modern and the rooms comfortable. There is an adjacent restaurant which serves the hotel. Evening meal was reasonably priced but the staff had very limited English. With the help of Google translate I had an enjoyable meal
Cons: Breakfast was a little limited and not really to my taste, but there seemed to be plenty of locals breakfasting there so it was probably just me.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was fine
Cons: I liked all
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Most everything
Cons: Isolated
7.5 Good

10.0 Excellent
Pros: I am on a motorcycle tour so I am interested in places that are out of the way where my bike will be safe, also not really interested in shops and the like. This is a nice remote relaxing hotel with restaurant with great views. Good choice in the restaurant and the steak I had was excellent, as was the wine. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I had a problem with my bike so they allowed me to put it in their shed so I could repair it out of the rain. They even offered to help, but I was able to fix it myself.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing. It was a bad choice based on booking.com ratings. They were inaccurate.
Cons: Food is bad and room very bare.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The view of Jaén is fantastic. Private Terrace from the room. Ask Juan about the history of the area. Great food and a wonderful base to explore the area.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The spacious room, the comfortable bed, the friendly welcome. The outdoor space was lovely with amazing views. The little private outside seating.
Cons: No mirror in the bedroom. No tea/ coffee making facility or fridge. Breakfast cost extra and was rather meagre. No yoghurts, fresh fruit, orange juice on offer.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and welcoming host. Good accommodation. On-site dining room, excellent food. Wide views, much local information. Opportunity to improve our Spanish!
Cons: We were looking for it at dusk, and SatNav brought us only to start of the road from Jaén; house was another 3.5 km, not readily obvious. But various people offered directions ...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Juan was a fantastic host and treated us like family. Our stay was beyond anything we could of imagined. Highly recommend and was also a great value
10.0 Excellent

Infanta Cristina - Jaén - Building
7
8.2 Excellent (1,880 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Hotel Infanta Cristina in Jaen, you'll be a 4-minute walk from Monumento a los Donantes de Sangre and 13 minutes by foot from Parque del Bulevar. Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Event facilities at this hotel consist of conference space and a meeting room.
7.5 Good
Pros: The breakfast was excellent -buffet type --very helpful staff at buffet.. The location of the hotel was too far from the centre of the town, meaning that a taxi journey was required for visiting any events happening during the fiesta week. However, no difficulty in obtaining taxis and very reasonably priced, just inconvenient!
Cons: Nothing could have been better except for the hard beds -- liked by some but not by this couple ! Location was definitely a disappointment, no nearby cafes or restaurants.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: A nice hotel in the grand Spanish style. The air con in the room was a real treat after the heat of the city centre.
Cons: we had not been told that we would be charged for parking and the staff could have been more helpful. I needed a chemist on the second day of our stay and was given a map. Why weren't we offered a map on day one so we could more easily have enjoyed the historic sites of Jaen?
8.8 Excellent
Cons: Wifi just didnt work at all. Wifi was an item I screened for when choosing where to stay.
5.0 Okay
Cons: 1.- no help with the luggage. All by yourself 2.- Because we bring our own soap to take shower, they took away hotel´s soap what we used to wash hands!! 3.- it seems the bill for electricity is tooooooooo expensive, no lights at all at the garage and no lights in corridors. We expected to get light as you go with motion sensors
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is easy to locate and check in was friendly and efficient. We parked on street so cannot comment on the parking facility. Good room and bathroom size and spotlessly clean. We had lunch in the restaurant which was very good and served with care to detail. Breakfast was equally good with plenty of variety and all fresh/reshly prepared (even the fruit juices) Gluten free needs are well catered for with the waiters showing knowledge and understanding. Even providing a separate toaster without having to ask for it! All the staff went about their work with quiet efficiency. It is a little bit of a walk into the town and it is on an incline so if walking is not your thing then check on the bus routes.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location,strong wifi
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location is excellent - literally in the centre of town and easy to find. The staff are very helpful and friendly
Cons: The room was very warm. The air con had been switched off as it was the last days of October and there is a lot of street noise with the windows open. I really should have spoken to the staff about it, but didn’t. This experience does not impair my view that it is a very nice hotel.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was fine. Clean area.
Cons: Car ark was some 250 mtrs away. No problem though. You pay the hotel and take ticket to the car park office to exit. Streets a little narrow around the Hotel area, can get lost on returning to collect luggage. Use Sat Nav, it helps.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location, near to the historic city center.
Cons: There is not bathroom door in the room.
10.0 Excellent

Iberos Jaén - Jaén - Bedroom

7.9 Good (235 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Iberos Jaén in Jaen, you'll be within a 10-minute walk of Jaen Provincial Museum and Plaza de las Batallas. The front desk is staffed during limited hours.
6.7 Good
Pros: First room was really good but they had double booked it for the 2nd night and we had to change room.
Cons: We had to change room on the 2nd night to a poorer standard room with inferior beds.
7.1 Good
Cons: Staff friendly but Spanish speaking only - It is a flat with rooms to rent.
6.7 Good
Pros: The suite looked new and the beds were comfortable It was close to the bike trail I was taking
Cons: I am traveling by bicycle so you have to keep that in mind with this review. Being from Canada I could not tell this hotel was on the sixth floor, but that is part of the learning process. So the bicycle was a big pain for them and I get that. That air conditions did not work very well either, there was not a remote in the room and I had to ask to get it. I think if you were just an average traveler with no bike it would be just ok. It is in the centre of town but the sights are 1.3 km away.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Stayed for one night as I was travelling with work. Arrived late so didn't see much of the surrounding area. But the hotel was located very central and close to the train station which was great. The bed was comfy, but the room was a little cold (due to the weather). Overall, I had a good nights sleep. I was very impressed by the shower in the room. It was ULTRA-modern. Perfect little place for a one nights stay.
7.0 Good
Pros: Clean room. Small but with everything included: fridge, shower, TV.... Friendly staff
Cons: The room is a bit small. It is very difficult to park the car in the area.
6.3 Good
Pros: Host was nice, the room was clean and the bed comfortable. Shower good too.
Cons: Street parking was difficult. Almost got towed. There was no toilet seat for some reason and when we notified the owner, the response came too late and we had already left.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The rooms are small but are well equiped and the massage shower is excellent.
Cons: No heating in the night (they switch off the main tap) and no extra blankets...only a not so thick and old duffey. We stayed in march and it was cold. The rooms are in a normal spanish flat at level 6. No breakfast facilities. No views. No outer spaces.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect and the restaurant Seneca nearby excellent. There is a big free parkinglot 1minute from the hotel and on a road easy to access and exit

Pros: The pension has good location. Easy to get around. Parking possible just a short walk away.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place in in the center of the city, 5 min. to the Cathedral. Nice room with good wi-fi, hot water, comfortable beds. Everything was perfect. The person on the reception was very nice ! :)
Cons: There is a bar on the street. Our stay was on Saturday and there were many people outside. Despite the noise, we slept very well.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very good location!
Cons: You don't get keys for the front door so sometimes you have to wait a couple of minutes for the door to be opened. Anyways it is a bit uncomfortable having to bother the owner every time you need to enter, but he was very nice and always trying to explain that it was ok for him to open the door at anytime.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Central location.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location and Staff. Close to city center, and Jaen attractions
5.0 Okay
Pros: The bed was comfortable and the towels. Gave the owner a few tips to repaint the pink room with white and put in hooks and translucent curtains when I left, he promised to follow up and improve the heating as well. Hw apologised more than once for the discomfort.
Cons: The pokey entrance, the owner was shopping while we waited ringing the bell because we were early. Room wasn't. We couldn't draw the curtains open as this allowed no privacy from the windows of the apartments across the road so it was dark always in the room. Hand towels were given after asking. The second day the room wasn't made saying he thought we had taken the room key with us. Insufficient space to hang up clothes. The owner apologised more than once for the disturbance occurred.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location, nice rooms, great value !
Cons: No key to entrance - Someone needs to open the door !

7.9 Good
Pros: Wonderful location. Breakfast was good, with choices for a continental type breakfast. Room had aircon which we needed. No plugs for basin or bath though. Great roof terrace with fantastic views. Also honesty bar. We paid to use the hotel carpark garage which is located across the square. Lift to all floors except solarium but easy stairs to the roof terrace from the top floor serviced by the lift. This is a 3 star hotel so don't expect 4 or 5 star facilities and rooms. Staff are ok but not chatty..
Cons: Wonderful location. Breakfast was good, with choices for a continental type breakfast. Room had aircon which we needed. No plugs for basin or bath though. 6.7 Good
Pros: The central location was very good, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the roof top bar and solarium were a real bonus with a great view.
Cons: The walls between bedrooms were paper-thin. Not only could I hear the couple in the next room having sex, I could also hear every word they said before, during and after. NOT GOOD!
4.6 Okay
Pros: First Class location
Cons: Because of proximity to a Plaza (Square) & it being a Saturday night, going to bed was rather noisy!.....until 04-30!!!!
7.9 Good
Pros: Location was fantastic...…… Bed very comfortable and huge ………. wifi non existant …….. Bathroom one of the worst ever ! Air con worked well.
Cons: BATHROOM - CRACKED TILES - MOULD - POSITION OF TOILET - NO PLUG SO COULDNT USE BATH EVEN IF YOU WANTED TO REALLY NEEDS TO BE RIPPED OUT AND REFORMED !!
7.5 Good
Pros: good central location in pedestrian area . typical city centre hotel ,underground car park--charge excellent roof bar -take your own !
Cons: Not outstanding or good value just ok .
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: In a central location. Room clean.
Cons: The male receptionist completely ruined our stay by being unbelievably rude and shockingly insulting. He threatened to call the police for no justification whatsoever. We had asked about parking before our stay. We were informed that we should present ourselves at reception to get the key for the garage. We did so, at no time was a fee for parking mentioned. (The lady at the reception desk on our arrival was polite and fine with us). When we came to leave he said we owed 13 Euros. My husband was surprised and said that we had not been told there was a fee beforehand. The male receptionist said 'it is fine with me if you do not pay the charge'. We took this to mean that as we had not been informed beforehand that they were waiving the fee. We returned the key after getting our car out, and he aggressively said 'Are you going to pay?'. My husband said no, as you said we did not have to. He then threatened to call the police. This was said in front of other guests booking into the hotel. He was unbelievably rude and aggressive. There is no way we would stay here again. Appalling customer service.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Pan y tomate for breakfast was the best of our whole trip!
7.9 Good
Pros: Nice buffet breakfast. I would have like a second cup of coffee but there was only one man who was also looking after reception, he was too busy.
Cons: There was nothing I didn't like. A shelf in the bathroom would be handy for toiletries instead of having to squeeze it all on to the sink.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location in Jaén. Room was very clean and comfortable, with air-con! Really friendly staff/owner. Very good value.
Cons: There are time restrictions on check in, which I only realised quite late on. This didn’t cause me any problems, but might be worth making more clear. Also, some more info on how to hand back keys on checkout and exit building - I found this a bit confusing.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice and friendly guy on the reception. He also clean the bathroom and the rooms daily
7.9 Good
Pros: Very friendly staff! Absolutely clean. Also the common bathroom. Ok for the price.
Cons: It is very basic. The beds are quite simple but with ok comfort. Place is difficult to find. It is just an apartment in a multi storey complex right in the centre. Difficult parking.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Friendly welcome, but the fastest Spanish I've ever heard spoken! Happy to let me keep my bike safe in the room. Good location.
7.5 Good

Pros: Another fabulously appointed Spanish apartment in a quiet street. Everything you could need was at hand and in excellent order. The communication with the owner Mari was excellent and although neither of us were fluent in each other’s language WhatsApp and Google translate got us through.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The apartment was very clean and comfortable and had everything I needed. It is in the heart of town so I could get to everywhere I needed to go on foot. The check in process was very simple and Mari was very helpful. I will definitely be staying here again the next time I am in town.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Apartment was a good size and everything included
Cons: Would have liked basics such as Olive Oil, salt pepper etc as we like to cook
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, air conditioning, very easy to locate. Best property in the town with a modern touch. Highly recommend
Cons: Parking can be tricky but there is an over night car park which is only €15 near by.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location near by the center.
6.7 Good
Pros: A newer building and apartment, newer furniture and appliances. Nice terrace with a partial view of the castle.
Cons: The apartment lacked some basic stuff: no paper towels (only 4 napkins were provided), no salt , only 2 packets of coffee and of tea, no detergent for laundry, no hair dryer. The bed cover served as a duvet, and since it was a cold night, it was pretty chilly to sleep. The light bulbs were of low voltage, so it was pretty dark. No lights at all in the kitchen cooktop area. The tv remote batteries were old, so it stopped working after 10 minutes. Looked like the owner was saving on everything.

6.7 Good
Pros: First room was really good but they had double booked it for the 2nd night and we had to change room.
