Pros. The room is excellent. It is spacious with a great design. I love the walk-in closet with enough room for storage. The heavenly bed helped me sleep very well at night. The view is amazing since all the rooms are on floor 53 and above. The bathroom is big and the water pressure from the rain shower system was just wonderful! The breakfast was awesome - it had good variety of local and international cuisines and they tasted good. The rooftop bar was pretty nice too. I did not eat at the restaurant, so I will not put my comment on that, but the drink and the staff that works there was nice and more friendly than another rooftop bar in the same city that is too pretentious. I also enjoyed the music.
Cons. I was not able to use the swimming pool as I stayed on the weekend and the pool was full of children. It was a little disappointing as it was one of the things I looked forward to doing during my stay. There was a cockroach in my room and I had the housekeeping to find it. The staff took care the problem immediately and apologized for what happened. I would not expect to see a cockroach in a nice hotel room like Westin, especially on a higher floor where I stayed. My room was on 63rd floor. The hotel location could be strategic IF the traffic was not that bad, especially with so many road constructions. So always plan ahead to go somewhere and add up the commute time with time of sitting in the traffic.
