The breakfast is good, but very expensive if you do not have it included in your room price. Food and beverages are very expensive - even for a resort. Cheaper to rent a car and drive into town to eat. One of our biggest issues is that 4 mornings in a row we were locked out of our room and had to wait for security to let us in. Twice we were told they were going to replace the mechanism on the door, but we do not believe it ever happened. This was very maddening as we had to wait a long time and almost missed two excursions we had booked. The same thing happened to the people in the room next to us. Also - they charged our card many times for things not ours - still disputing some things on our card. I do not recommend this place.
It was located about 20 minutes of everything. Very calm and peaceful surroundings with a rustic vibe to everything. Very good price and the owner is your host who is so easy going that you feel at home. Although there was every amenity possible, there was no TV which gave us a chance to really disconnect from the daily drag and focus on ourselves. The water pressure to take a shower was very poor. Being in the tropics you would want a good shower to keep fresh. The lack of a TV was a drag at first but after a while you adjust.
