- nice swimming pool - nice view from the balcony - very quiet - the room was very big
- the staff NEVER cleaned the room in 4 days - disgusting mould on the tray with the cups and on the air con - the sink was broken - the “ resort “ didn’t provide any toothpaste / shampoo / shower gel / bottled water / etc - nobody told us we were supposed to throw our own rubbish and change our towels ( we found out accidentally on the last day ) - very far from the beach ( 20 mins walk ) but I knew that before booking - no bikes provided , no bus to the beach - no restaurants around - staff is not helpful at all - their convenience store is very expensive
Bathroom are not clean, very old and worst condition
Staff were friendly but booked us an expensive taxi (10,000₩) when the return taxi we got ourselves was about 4,000₩. The room was run-down and a bit grubby, bathroom had mold, no shampoo was provided.
Check in was easy and simple. Staff was friendly though he asked if I am Russian, and that is one thing people from my country dislike being called. Room is very clean, look exactly as on the pictures, very spacious. View from the room is really amazing. We had everything private bathroom with shower, fridge, hair dryer, tv, and ice cubes tray. The bed is a bit hard. They also allowed us to check out late at 12 pm instead of 11am. Check in is at 3 pm. It is about 15-20 good minutes walking from the Hyeopjae Beach and another beach, but I think Hyeopjae Beach is better and most food places are there. We don't speak Korean. We found out that the building in front of the hotel (since there is no other real food close to hotel), on second floor has yummy cold noodles and the lady there is very nice and makes it from scratch. We paid for two cold noodle dishes 13,000 Korean Won. Remember that most food there is a bit spicy. There is a convenient store close to check-in at the hotel. Prices in Jeju are not so low, from my experience. If coming from Jeju International Airport, take bus 202 and get off at Hyeopjaeri and pay about 1,200 per person, takes 1 hour and 40ish minutes. Also bus doesn't stop on all stops you need to press stop button when on the screen you see your stop name. You can get off and walk about 15-20 minutes and you are at the hotel. Taxi will cost you about 25,000-30,000 Korean Won. People are friendly and will help you if you ask them and are lost as we were many times.
In June pool is not open. No breakfast/food in the hotel, though it is written on the website Breakfast, and no you cannot pay 8,000 Korean won to have breakfast as I asked for it before. We has soap and towels and toothpaste already in the room, no toothbrushes or shampoo, so bring your own. Also if you want clean towel and more soap, you need to go to reception and ask for it and return the other towels. Garbage, you have to go out of the hotel and throw it out yourself. I guess it is not like a standard hotel.
The space. Very spacious, I feel larger space than average. Very quiet and serene. Very less traffic. Near to the beach, tho there isn't a seaside view. Good to have a flatscreen TV, and additional air conditioning included.
The futons were too thin, uncomfortable to sleep in. Toilet door unable to lock. Carpark could have been more lit, so that cars can park easier. Please show us the futon beds in future. We may chose another type of bed if we knew the futon beds were too thin. A big added plus would be adding a washing machine.
