Right in the center of town. Walk to everything.
Everything was fine
Breakfast was good, but vouchers were deceiving. Waitress was very nice.
The fact that when I opened my email from your organization a VIRUS ALERT appeared on my computer, so I was never informed that only 1 car was allowed. We had to go to the BASEMENT and pack our own luggage and try to maneuver it through the narrow hallways to our room- no one offered to assist. The Concierge was rude and uncaring. I had a medical emergency due to my long term illness that we had to call 911 for assistance as I needed IV Glucose or I would have gone into a coma. Not one person from the hotel called to ask how I was feeling nor visited me to see if I was OK. All they cared about was me getting my car out of their stinking parking lot- lousy little lot that it is.
We rode our bikes into town on the D&L Trail. The Inn has a secure bicycle storage garage that allowed us to leave our touring gear attached to the bicycles instead of stripping them down and hauling everything to our room for security. The staff even allowed us to store our bicycles after check out so that we could continue to explore the town of Jim Thorpe. Excellent value added bonus! The giant stack of blueberry pancakes and the vanilla French toast were fantastic breakfast offerings in the Broadway Grille.
Absolutely nothing. The Inn is a great value, conveniently located and staffed by fantastic people.
The room and the bed were very comfortable. The location was very convenient, and we were able to walk to most places we wanted to see. The restaurant was also a big plus. Enjoyed sitting on the porch in the evenings. We look forward to staying at the inn again in the future.
This was not the fault of the inn, but trash day for the town was very noisy and began at 4:00 a.m.!
In Pennsylvania, travelers will found a quaint and historic town called Jim Thorpe. This town is known for its beauty and its history. Tourists love coming here to get a fill of history that they never knew. One of the most historic places here is the Inn at Jim Thorpe. This inn was built in 1849 and is on the National Register of Historic Places. It is in the historic district and that is one of the major reasons that guests choose to stay here.
The rooms of the inn are located in three different buildings: 24 Broadway, 55 Broadway, and 44 West Broadway. The amenities and features are all similar in each room, but they all look very different. If guests are looking for a specific feature, it is best for them to talk to the staff about that when booking their room.
The rooms include flat screen televisions, air conditioning, coffee maker, Victorian décor, mini fridge, microwave, iron, USB charging ports, Wi-Fi, and luxurious linens. The hotel features a business center, spa, ping pong games, ice and vending machines.
There is a lot to see here and guests can take a break from it all and dine at the Broadway Grille & Pub, which is located on-site at the Inn at Jim Thorpe.
Guests will see just how much history there is here and will truly enjoy their stay. The staff is very friendly and can answer any questions that guests have before they book their room and during their stay.
