The simplest and cheapest method to get from LaGuardia to JFK and vice-versa is to take a shuttle bus. A number of shuttle bus services are offered at both airports – tickets cost around $10+ and trip times are around 30+ minutes, depending on traffic. Many of the shuttle companies offer service to Newark International and other locations in the city as well as in the surrounding suburbs.
JFK, LaGuardia, and Newark all have a variety of hotels that offer complimentary shuttle service from them. For JFK, there is the Radisson Hotel JFK Airport and the Crowne Plaza. For LaGuardia, the Comfort Inn and Suites and Airway Inn provide shuttle services. Newark even has a hotel in the heart of the airport itself, called Newark Liberty Marriott.
All three New York airports are fairly centrally located and have great access to the downtown area. If you plan on taking the subway, Newark and JFK offer the most direct access to the subway via their respective AirTrains, while LaGuardia offers only bus connections. However, if you plan on renting a car, LaGuardia is quite close to Manhattan and offers quick and easy access by car.
JFK and LaGuardia both have excellent restaurant options available. Some of LaGuardia’s standouts include Custom Burgers and Artichoke. Some of JFK’s can’t-miss eateries include Shake Shack and Uptown Brasserie.

Cons: It was on oversold flight. Their online check in kept crashing on my phone so I had to check in at the airport. I was a few minutes late for the 45 minute cut off and because they oversold the flight, they didn't check me in. While citing policy, it was very clear that I had ample time to make the flight and that the few minutes I was under for the cut off were immaterial, but because they oversold, this was an easy way to get rid of a passenger. Never again.

Cons: no carry on, I had a small bag not even a roller and was charged an additional $59 for the small carry bag. The boarding agents were rude as was the on flight crew. NONE of the seats go back, this is to get more passengers on so the ride was uncomfortable. The flight was over an hour late but it may not have been Spirits fault, not sure on that one.
Pros: This is the Second time spirit airline cancelled my flight to Chicago. After waiting hours for delays Worst yet I lost so much money over cancelled plans. The customer service was poor at LGA and they had no plan on how to get people to their destination.

Cons: Staff are part time employees and do not arrive to check in counter until 1.5 hours before flight. When flying out of this airport you do not need to arrive 2 hours early.
Cons: Worst plane trip. I am a bigger girl, and I could not even buckle my seat belt due to the size of the chair. I have never had this issue on any other plane flight. It was incredibly noisy, and rough ride. I will not travel again.

Cons: When we arrived from hawaii to SFO airport we had to exit in order to get our tickets for our next flight (SFO to FLL) and we had to go through security again for this reason. No one around to help, we even called from one of the airport telephones but no one answered.

Flight was delayed due to "air traffic control & weather" which we can't fault them for but maybe don't board us on the plane & then make us get off again. Cons: The layover was an unorganized hastle. If you have any short layovers in Newark, be careful, because they have different wings just for United and it was not easy or quick getting from one to the other. I met a few rude workers and stopped asking for help. You get NO entertainment for free, even the screen that shows the map and where the plane is cost money. Wi-fi costs, any checked bags cost, etc. I flew JetBlue the other way and it was a much better experience.
Cons: The flight was delayed so I wasn’t going to be able to make my connecting flight and the airline didn’t even offer to cover my hotel room to stay the night. Terrible service in a very competitive business.
Pros: My originally scheduled flight was overbooked and I asked at the counter if I could say "Yes" to the query about willingness be bumped at the Kiosk and get more details. She arranged for me to get on an earlier flight and that was helpful.
Cons: Because I was voluntarily "bumped" at the ticket counter instead of at the gate, I was not offered any compensation. Seems odd that I would have to be put through the rush/hassle of going to the gate to be compensated for doing this favor for United.

They made me throw things away before they allowed my bag on the flight. I had to throw away shoes, I was so upset and confused I did not know what to do. I had no money since I just paid my rent. They didn't care. It was embarrassing. Now I need to save up for new shoes. They did not care about me and my situation. I flew home for my sisters wedding, I missed 4 days of work with no pay. My Mom had to budget for the and ticket because I couldn't . The staff is horrible at Ohare. The airlines apologized to my Mom via email. Told her I could have a $50 voucher, I can't afford another trip. What a joke! Nick M.

When I treated to involve the media about their scam they said they would refund me the $95.75 but who would believe a con scam company. And as for Kayak to allow this company to prey on it's users. ...Kayak you suck and I will never use your service ever again. The word will spread about this!!!

Cons: Woke up to a notice saying my flight was delayed 2 hours. So I took my time leaving. Then Got another notice saying it was delayed only 16 min. I live 1.5hrs away! Several people missed the flight because of this.
Pros: The captain was very good, and we arrived early to our destination. We had to hold back before landing, due to smaller planes landing, so the captain pointed out some areas along our path! Loved it! The flight was smooth.
Cons: We had to be in the boarding area an hour before the flight was scheduled to leave. However, because of the way that the flights are scheduled, people were still deplaning from the previous flight for 25 minutes after our gate arrival time.

Cons: Worst transatlantic flight in 40 years. Filthy old seats and mine had a wet ironed stain. The seat in front of me was broken and reclined into my lap. That made the screen for entertainment unusable. The reading lights didn’t work. The toilets were a mess and never serviced.
Pros: Crew was very friendly for the most part. There seems to be a chance in the way they interact with customers. It's noticeable. The food still is not bad, not great. Drink selection was pretty extensive and impressive. Free wifi for messaging apps is great.
Cons: Electrical plug is right at your knee level. Bread is rock hard an inedible. Plane felt very dry compared to other Delta planes. Would be good to know when the Wifi will be off (as it is off as we "approach the North Pole"). I wish we didn't have to repack bags that are over 52lb.
Pros: In seat entertainment was pretty good. Food was also surprisingly good, though it would have been nice if bigger. To be fair, it was typical sized for an airline meal.
Cons: They ran out of wine in economy. I had two tiny cups and then was told they were all out. Seats in economy plus only barely reclined. I just can't sleep on an overnight flight when sitting virtually vertical. I was seated in economy plus so the legroom was reasonable.

They said it was because of inclement weather but actually the weather was very good in both departure and arrival cities. They also stated that many airlines canceled their flights on that day because of same reason, but we checked and found it was not the truth. NO COMPENSATION. NOBODY HELPED THEIR VALUED CUSTOMER TO FIND ANOTHER FLIGHT. WE DID ALL BY OURSELVES.
