Pros: The view is spectacular. The personnel was very friendly. Beds were really comfortable and standard of the room was very high considering it's a hostel. Breakfast was included in the price as well as access to washing machine and dryer. I highly recommend this place.

Pros: Loved the location. Owners were very friendly and accommodating
Cons: The weather, but that can't be changed
Pros: Rooms are clean and spacious. Close to grocery store
Pros: The host was very friendly and gave us great advice. Overall the place was welcoming and we were invited to wait in a very cosy lobby
Pros: Super friendly, always smiling, welcoming staff; stunning fjord & valley views; beautiful surroundings (the Fairytale Forest is a must if you are with kids); stylish & cozy social area; convenient shared kitchen; excellent value for money.
Cons: The fridge didn't work in our apartment but we realized that just before we left :)
Pros: The staff and service was really extra ordinary. We was maybe lucky visiting in a non busy time of year
Pros: The cabin is very beautiful, surrounded by a large meadow. Rooms are upstairs and had comfortable beds. The Eventyrskogen hiking trail is just next door. 40 mins drive to the Preikestolen parking lot and 3 mins drive to grocery store. Recommendable!
Cons: There are some flies in the house in summer, also some mosquitoes, but they don't bite people very much, so that's fine.
Pros: It was a beautiful location with charming, historic buildings and a delightful staff! We stayed in an old school house and loved it. Great amenities too!
Cons: We liked everything!
With a stay at Fjordbris Hotell in Rennesoy, you'll be on the beach, and 17.9 mi (28.8 km) from Stavanger Cathedral and 18.1 mi (29.1 km) from Stavanger Museum. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The hotel was on the water, a great view from the living room window. We had to wait for check in, we stayed during the off season and were earlier than expected. We used the time casually shopping at the grocery store next door, walking to the wharf, and generally enjoying the small village experience. The room was GREAT! We had a full breakfast made just for the two of us, truly more than I was expecting.
Cons: Restaurant wasn't open as we were there during the off season. We picked up a few things at the store and fixed our own dinner in the fully equipped kitchen. Have to say it was a a great meal, slightly inconvenient but not all bad. Other than that, our experience was perfect.
Pros: After an almost frenetic "tour" of Norway, I just needed to slow down and relax - the Fjordbris was perfect, ABSOLUTELY right on the water, in an isolated harbor village, on an island off the mainland (yet only 30 minutes to Stavanger).
Cons: They do not routinely serve dinner, but I arrived on a day the Fjordbris was hosting an event, and I was invited to participate. The food was of superb quality, elegantly presented - if there is any way you can arrive with a group and arrange a dinner this would be a "must".
Pros: Location, design, comfortable beds, great & friendly staff
Pros: Location. View of the see and harper. Tha flats was nice and very comfortable the kitchen was ready to use with all what you need. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Pros: Perfect view and the staff is very kind.
Cons: Bad was not comfortable, there was no hairdryer and the heat was not adjustable. The room was cold.
Pros: Located in the middle of beautiful nature. Accommodation is very basic, but has all you need for overnight stay before/after hike. Building is quite old, made of wood. We were staying on the ground floor and we could hear every footstep above - bring earplugs! Great breakfast, and you save money for parking. Recommended.
Pros: Great location, the restaurant was great and the view was beautiful.
Cons: The sound proof of the building was so poor that I keep hearing people upstairs moving and I could not get to sleep
Pros: Staff was awesome. Very friendly
Pros: Everything, but location the best
Pros: Staff was very helpful with questions and providing everything we needed.
Cons: Room was quite small
Pros: Good rooms (except some minor comments regarding the bathroom) and very friendly staff. Great views, also from the restaurant. Everything cosy and nice and tidy. Free coffee/tea/cacao for hotel guest is very appreciated. So nice of you to give our old grandmother a free cake while she was waiting for us when we did the hike to Preikestolen!
Cons: The bathroom door does not close 100% Even when slid as much as it could, one could still see the person in the bathroom. This was a bit awkward as we slept 5 persons in a room, of which one was an exchange student and one an old grandmother...Also there seemingly was no ventilation from the bathroom...
Located in Strand, Verkshotellet is within a 15-minute drive of Lysefjord Bridge and Mølleparken. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Event facilities at this hotel consist of conference space and a meeting room. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Good accomodation for hiking Preikestolen. Breakfast was good.
Cons: There was a group of people who was really loud the whole evening (laughing, screaming). This is not cool if you would like to get some rest for your hike. The hotel did not react to them until I called the reception at midnight. All in all you could hear everything through those walls. Maybe it was an exception, but because of this we had a really bad night.
Pros: Bed, location and breakfast
Pros: The room is comfort
Cons: Our booking is included the breakfast and the staff also told us the breakfast will be end at 9.30am when the time we checked in. However the restaurant is not open in the next morning when we went down at 8.30am and there is no staff there. So we have to buy our breakfast at nearby grocery store and we saw the staff that helped us to check in. When we told him the restaurant is not open, and he just told us he got no idea.. one more thing is there is no cup provided in either the kitchen or room..
Pros: The room was clean, but that was all. The least hotel we stayed in during our trip through the southern part of Norway. The only reason to stay there was the proximity to the Preikestolen.
Cons: The bathroom was more like a spacious toilet, very small. We did not have breakfast because it was only possible from 8 a.m. and we wanted to start the hike to the Preikestolen early, to avoid all the crowds.
Pros: Friendly staff, clean and modern rooms. Yummy breakfast
Cons: Tiny sink in bathroom Rooms are on the small side and lacking in amenities but there is a common room on each floor with fridge, sink and water boiler.
