Cons: Difficult to find

Pros: Near A Neighbourhood, so can play with a local children. Very Silent, so comfortable to take a rest. And a real Japanes Home, is like Doraemon home.

Pros: Roommates were nice. Sweeper was nice.

Cons: The owner doesn't pay attention to detail. For example my son was going to get hurt. Another example ; He forgot that I paid the fee for picking us up at the station, and so on.

Pros: Breakfast was cooked on our own though the owner's Tom and Kimiko offered to prepare for us.

Pros: The property was clean and the hosts were very welcoming. The property is close to markets across from the street which was convenient to purchase cheaper items. Best thing is that the host does not have a curfew.

Pros: Hotel Trend Funabashi was a great place located between LaLaport and Aeon Mall. It was a 10 minute walk from the JR station and had a 7/11 right across the street for those late night snacks. The staff were super friendly and helpful, always greeting me when I came back.

Cons: I didn’t see any coin operated laundries on site and I believe they only offered dry cleaning. I’d have dumped 100s of yen into laundry.

Pros: We only stayed for 5 hours as a stopover in the way to Narita, the desk was manned until late and the staff were really helpful. The room was comfortable and roomy for a business hotel. The location was good for Funabashi station.

Pros: Extremely friendly staff, both check-in & check-out were quick and simple. Comfortable beds, room size was rather large in comparison to the other hotels whe stayed in. No noise during the night.

Cons: Only 1 staff member seemed to know english, which wasn't much of a problem luckily.

Pros: Staff were excellent, even though I did not speak Japanese, they were patient and served very well even when I made a mistake with my timing and stay.

Cons: I’m just a big person so beds seemed abit small but everything was quite nice.

Pros: We enjoyed our stay here as a family of 3 in October 2019. The rooms are very clean. It’s in a fantastic location- close to the train station and only 2 stops from Disneyland. Staff were very friendly and informative on the local area and places to eat/visit close by. It was very affordable. We were given gifts (a travel mug, and a pen each) for staying there which was lovely.

Cons: Check-in was late in the afternoon and we had to pay a fee to check-in earlier.

Pros: It's a fun place to go to with children - free soft drinks, microwave, cheap laundromat and streaming services available; a concept quite hostelly but with more comfort. However, location is not covered by Tokyo metro card. Next metro station about 2km, or about 150 yen with train from adjacent railway station. Close to Disneyworld Tokyo.

Pros: Near to station, got a convenient store, bathroom good, beds comfy for a family with 4 children.. they enjoyed the stay..and it is good value for money if visiting Tokyo Disneyland.. looking forward to coming back again in future.

Pros: Room didn't have kitchenette but FREE cold drinks (all you can drink) was a plus. I haven't seen such accommodating, respectful, courteous, genuinely-at-service and friendly staff anywhere else in my life. Especially, the man who helped us with check in (usually works in evenings) was great. Girls were nice too. On checkout, we wete given free masks, toffees and pen. We are four and had two bunks bed that each had lamp, curtain for privacy, power switch. Very comfortable stay. Daily change of towels and good behavior made it a good stay. I already have another booking in Tokyo. At the moment I am in Sendai but have future prebooked hotel in another area of Tokyo. Since it was booked prior, we are not able to change it though we all want to go to this hotel again.

Cons: Location was far of city but we had to go Disney which was near. Hotel is right in front of the Ichikawa atation which was great. :)

Pros: Nice Hotel if you want to stay at this location. The train station (Tozai line) is very close. However it's a long way to e.g. Tokyo Station from there (45min ride). Compared to European Hotels, the rooms are very small and the bathrooms are very, very small. However, the beds are very comfortable and AC, TV etc. worked well. I also had a hairdryer and a small fridge in the room.

Cons: The neighborhood is very calm so I only went there to sleep.

Pros: The breakfast tasted like a nice, home cooked meal! There was no judgement if you went for seconds. Very close to the Ichikawa Shiohama train station, which is two stops away from Disneyland. The Wi-fi was very good, my facetime did not disconnect.

Cons: I was disappointed with the breakfast that was offered. It was in a restaurant across the street from the hotel and had very little that my child would eat.

Pros: Breakfast was at a small restaurant across the street from the hotel. It was a total Japanese immersion experience - no Western-style options at all. However, it was tasty and filling and diverse. Wonderful for those who are really interested in being IN the foreign country, rather than viewing it from a McDonald's or Starbucks. Short walk to the transport station. One of the staff researched and printed directions from the hotel to the Yokohama port, to give us the most economical way to reach it and booked us a taxi for the first part of that trip. Bathroom was spacious with a wealth of amenities, including pajamas, slippers, comb, toothbrushes, hairbrush, etc.

Cons: We chose a twin room with separate beds. The beds were larger than standard and took up most of the room space. Had we known, we could have upgraded to a larger room.

Pros: very close to JR Shin-Urayasu station and Tokyo Disney! the breakfast was good.

Pros: The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable with the beds firmer than most western beds but it didn’t bother me. The hotel is only a 2 minute walk from the train station with two convenience stores (lawson and daily yamazaki)on either side of the train station entrance. All rooms face the train tracks and you can hear the trains go by, but I’m a light sleeper and it didn’t bother me. The location was great, jut two stops away from Maihama, the Disney train station and so convenient.

Cons: I was there for 3 nights and had to hand in my room keycard each morning for cleaning between 1000 and 1500. I would have preferred an option to not have the room cleaned so I could access the room between those times. The staff member checking me in at 1900 was unfriendly and not terribly helpful, but all other staff members I encountered were great.

Pros: If you want to stay as close as possible to Disney, this is the best budget choice, only 2 JR stop away. Friendly staffs, cozy public area, clean bedroom, nothing to complain except the room is little bit tiny, people with huge luggage might feel inconvenience.

Cons: One little problem : seasides 2 CVS (convenience shop) , there is only one local restaurant within walking distance and no other shops.

Pros: How I wish the blanket and cover are more soft not silk. We booked for a smoking room which is really bad for my rhinitis. How I wish the towels are soft not rough;however the buffet breakfast was great!

Cons: Cant think of anything which I disliked about the property. Only slight issue I had was communicating sometimes due to knowing no Japanese, however this really wasn't a problem!

Pros: Quiet location so just what we were looking for. Close to the train station and supermarkets. Beds were super comfortable and we slept like babies.

Pros: Totally value for money. Nice clean room, fully equipped, no fuss! The host had fully equipped, more than what I expected, from necessity to nice-to-haves. In my 3 nights stay, I felt no need to call for any extra ask. I'm very touched for their well-thought-of preparation. I had a good, happy stay. I would be very happy to recommend it to travellers on a budget but still seeks comfort, convenience, and cleaness. The place felt like home!

Pros: A very clean and organized room with excellent bed a peaceful room to yourself a long with being next to a train station and a Lawson. A very good experience I feel as if it can be touched upon to make it better

Cons: The entertainment like the TV is very small and in an awkward location, and the pillows were very thin to sleep on. I feel as if these 2 aspects were improved the stay would be a lot better.

Pros: Price of the accomodation was reasonable and staff seem friendly.

Cons: If it is your goal to stay in a very quiet area this accomodation is okay, however if you want to experience the more urban Tokyo area this is not your thing. In example in order to go to more central Tokyo you will have to walk at least 17 minutes before even reaching the first train. Also make sure you know the timeschedule when to take public transport back home, since you will have to leave the inner city in time to make it back home. Take into consideration that the people in the accomodation speak Japanese (google translate is not yet part of their system). Standard of facilities are not as high as in the many other guesthouses and hostels I spend during my stay in Japan. The booking.com website says there is a bar area, but I dont think that is correct. Also the rooms are quit small given the amount of beds in it.

Pros: Very near to the Funabashi and Keiser-Funabashi stations. The small shortcuts are the best to take. And food selections near stations are good.

Cons: For summer, the aircon is not powerful enough. So it can be a bit warm.

Cons: If you can focus on the plus points first, the fact that this place is a bit dated and the lobby has a vibe of old folks home, and definitely not a hipster destination, shouldn't put you off too much...If you need to stay in this part of town there are not a huge range of options. Breakfast could be improved with some daily variations. Breakfast only rates 4/10 compared to other hotels elsewhere in Japan.

Cons: this place is filled with older homeless men. the rest lounge is filled with smoke smell. the carpet was dirty as well. I stepped on something sharp that turned out to be a nail clip. So disappointed.

Cons: There were a lot of rules, like needing to wear their pajamas in all inside areas, including lobbies, etc. There was nowhere I was allowed to eat food from outside. I don't expect to eat in the sleeping area, but it should be allowed in a lobby or common area. There wasn't really a good place to use my laptop, either. Lots of people were smoking in common areas.
