Pros: The hotel is amazing. I had breathtaking views from the room - sunrise every morning and the beautiful see. Everything is super clean, the rooms, the restaurants, the communal areas. I had breakfast included and the food was always fresh and tasty. There were the usual European items and then Greek things like spinach or cheese pie, Greek cakes, etc. The hotel has a fantastic gym that opens early till late. It has a Smith frame, dumbells, benches, treadmills and bikes, Cable machine, leg extension /leg curl, etc and it's included in the price. Really good!! The pools are large and clean with plenty of sunbeds around. I got a complimentary a la carte dinner and both the food and the service were excellent. And this is one of the most important things. The staff is fantastic, not 5* but 6*. Starting from reception to the cleaners, they always smile and look out what they can do for the guests. Respect to them in that heat. :D I got a lot of advice and tips where to go, what to do, how to get to places, etc. The hotel is built on the hill and the buildings are scattered all around. There is a golf car service taking people up and down on the hill - great when someone is feeling lazy. Kardamena town is within walking distance (8 mins) so it's easy to go out for a meal or drink, or just for some shopping. But there is a mini market in the hotel anyway. I had a nespresso machine in the room, and all the usual things like bathrobe, slippers, fridge, kettle, hair dryer, telly etc. :) I hired a car and could park it at the hotel for free, no issues, didn't even need to book it. If one day I return to Kos, I'll stay here again.

Would be better if it was with glass and shower head on the short side. There was no freezer. The coffee was not so good from the machines at breakfast

Pros: What a great place to stay, the owner and staff were all fantastic and made you feel so welcome and certainly keen to visit again. The Hotel is in a great location so easy to access the town and beaches but set back far enough to make it a nice quiet place to stay. The facilities and pool are excellent and a 24hour reception is great when arriving late at night.

Pros: Location of this hotel is great, 2-3 minute walk from the main square but not noisy. The hotel is a definate 2* as it is very basic. The hotel owners are friendly and the pool area is nice.
Cons: The rooms are very much in need of updating however, they are clean. We encountered no water on a few occasions at prime time 6 - 8pm which, we were informed was due to the Greek government turning down the water pressure, not a problem on the lower floors but we were on the second floor and it was non-existant to the point we had to shower round the pool area one evening. On another evening we were given a basement room to shower in. Not sure what the situation really is as we were given mixed opinions from other holiday makers and locals?

Cons: The wi-fi does not work from my room. I told the owner this situation. He told me that nobody claim about it. Other customres use wi-f- only around the reception. He also request me 5 euro for A/C condition. I have never heard this kind of application before.

Cons: The feeling on the arrival that no one here is waiting for you. I decided to stay just because my booking was non refundable. If not-i would rather leave this place on 1st min of arrival. No one was waiting for me there and the gentleman seems was even not happy that I booked his place and arrived. That's was very sad. The room was not so clean. Especially bathroom. No mosquito net. There is AC but you can't use it
