Pros: Yiannis Retreat is very quiet and peaceful. A lovely place to relax. It is looked after very well. The hosts looked after us very well. We had read, fruit and local produce left for us so we could make breakfast and a snack.
10.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Katerina and Yannis have thought of everything. The attention to detail in how the gardens, rooms and bathrooms are presented and the facilities is impeccable and incredibly thoughtful. The bathroom is really clean and modern, the bedroom was a lovely style, extremely comfortable and even had a small kitchenette inc. Kettle, pots/pans, cutlery, fridge, hob, sink and they provided tea, coffee, milk, olive oil, salt, pepper, herbs, jam and a basket of fruit, bread and other goodies. Do not hesistate to book. One of the most delightful places I've ever stayed.
Cons: Could not pick any faults with the place, it was just outstanding.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Welcoming experienced host with exceptional attention to detail, nuturing attitude to his land and his guests
Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The property has nice surroundings/gardens. Each apartment has a lovely terrace with magnificent views. Zakros is quite an interesting place, particularly for walkers. Whilst there was a beach, we did not try it and went to a few beaches in Xerokampos, which was easy to reach by car.
Cons: There was a kettle and coffee maker but not any other cooking facilities, so no chance to boil an egg or make an omelette. There is though a good selection of tavernas in Kato Zakros, all serving breakfast, so not a real problem unless you are on a lower budget or prefer to cook your own breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Stunning location with superb views across to the Gorge of the Dead
Cons: This is a delightfully remote and quiet corner of Crete, but the downside is that there is no local mini market in Kato Zakros. The nearest is about 12 mins drive in Zakros itself.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful garden, amazing view, very clean room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic view and nice and simple and clean. Private balcony.
Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: It is not by accident that I specifically chose to stay at Kato Zakros Palace Apartments a second time while visiting eastern Crete. The owners are outstanding hosts and the property is situated to delight the senses. Everywhere, one can appreciate the effort expended in the details that make this place such a choice place to stay. The staff is quite friendly, and it is a huge plus that one has free access to a clothes washing machine onsite! I would absolutely stay here again without hesitation.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We were warmly welcomed by George the owner who showed us around the incredibly clean and well equipped studio. He also gave us some delicious homemade cake and fruit from the garden before leaving us to settle in. The accommodation has stunning views of the bay and Gorge of the Dead. Our studio had a lovely large terrace which was really peaceful and we spent many hours just enjoying the view. During our 4 days there we visited Xerokampos beach and sampled the local restaurants, before moving onto Kouremenos for the rest of our holiday. We are planning another trip soon and I’m sure that we will go back to the Kato Zakros Palace Apartments as we had such a good time there.

Pros: Excellent welcome, room, swimming pool.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was not our first time in Crete but it was our first time in Sitia. A Cretan friend suggested we visit/stay here assuring us that we would not be disappointed by the town or the locals. He was spot on on both counts. Sitia is a vibrant, bustling harbour town whose citizens ooze Cretan hospitality and warmth. Nowhere is this more evident than in Sitia Bay apartments. Eric and his mum ( who doesn't look old enough) provide 1st class facilities and matching customer service. Thank for the home baked treats and for Jb's birthday drink! They are assisted by an amazing team (in no particular order) of housekeeping, bar/café staff (Hello Anastasia!) their groundsman and the guys who worked flat out managing the sunbeds and drinks on the beach. This team worked tirelessly to ensure that Sitia Bay apartments provide a level of housekeeping that is on par - indeed better - that some 5 ⭐ and well known hotel chains that we have stayed in. I can't recommend Sitia Bay apartments highly enough - but I have to be careful - it's tempting to keep my review 'average' incase Sitia Bay becomes so popular and busy that we can't book next year- but I can't! We had an amazing stay. Thank you all. Clare and Jb
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The manager (Erikos) was incredibly helpful. His suggestions for other beaches (in addition to the one right in front of the hotel) and restaurants were 100% on the mark. Make sure to explain to him what you are looking for, and he'll listen and give you the right recommendations (and may even lend you a beach umbrella and folding chair for those beaches that are not organized) - if I had followed my own google research, I would not have had as much fun. Also very helpful in other ways, including where I could get luggage to replace a damaged one. His mother, who often helps at times when he is not available (it's a family business) is a wonderful lady and also very gracious and helpful. The beach in front of the hotel is excellent, but I strongly recommend renting a car and visiting several others on the east coast of Crete as well. The deal on the beach in front of the hotel is excellent - you get to use a beach lounge chair (with umbrella) for just the price of a coffee (less than 3 euros from the hotel's own restaurant), but I recommend the mojitos as well. :-) The quality of the accommodations exceeded my expectations from the price. The daily housekeeping was excellent. A minor problem with some loose screws in the shower attachment to the wall, was fixed right away - I mentioned it, went to the beach, and it was fixed when I got back. The view from the room balcony is perfect, right on the beach.

Pros: Perfect location to explore the area. The staff is very kind. The room was deeply cleaned every day.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: the location is superb, we could see the beach from our room each morning. just a few metres away from a mini market and cafes. the hosts were excellent and offered superb advice for food and activities. we often came back to our room to find it cleaned and with home made treats such as cheese pastries and biscuits. we look forward to visiting again!!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is very charming. The swimming pool reminded me of Les Molitors in Paris. Eric and his family are very welcoming hosts. Everything was perfect. Sitia Bay Hotel is the right choice in Sitia
Cons: nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location right beside the beach and just a few minutes walk right into town with so many lovely bars and restaurants sat on the waterfront
Cons: Beds were a little hard but otherwise everything was fab!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This spacious apartment on the water in Sitia was incredibly maintained, reflecting that fact that it is family run by a mother and her son, both of whom are very kind and helpful. But what stood out to us most was what they all put into keeping the place pristine--not just the pool area, but the rooms and balconies. The rooms have a 1960s jet-set feel to them, and accordingly, everything works beautifully--the sliding doors, the drawers to the dresser, the floor-to-ceiling closets with tons of storage area. We also enjoyed that at night the owners line the lobby and the stairs with candles in a variety of beautiful containers. They of course do not need to do that, but they knew people would like it. It's beautiful and calming after a long day to come home to a candle-lit hotel. If you buy a drink at the bar, you get a padded lounge chair on the beach for the whole day, and the beach is right across from the hotel. Along the beach in Sitia, as in Agios Nikolaus, there is a string of excellent restaurants, most with fresh fish of the day. We ate at one place where Giorgios, the waiter, played Bouzouki for us and let me husband play his instrument. This is indicative, we believe, of the added hospitality you find in the people of Eastern Crete. Finally, I recommend going through the Folklore Museum and the Archeological Museum, both close to the hotel.
Cons: I have nothing I would see improved.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff, cleanliness, pool area, view from room. Overall a nice quiet clean well run friendly place near to town but far enough to be out of the noise.
Cons: The bathroom is quite compact

Pros: Great rooms in a great location. Very quiet and comfortable. Very personable owner
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We visit Sitia every summer more or less on the same period. This was our first stay with Nereids even though we have wanted to stay over before but it 's been always sold out and this year I understand why! The location and the atmosphere is divine. The rooms are under the trees with unlimited grass around you and the beachfront on your toes! The rooms are very spacious and comfortable! Katerina & Argyris are more than great hosts and always happy to assist with anything. Will definitely visit again and this time will book as soon as possible.

Cons: During the night you can hear cars from the main road if a window is open.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely warm host, free orange juice on arrival, beautiful grounds and location, spotlessly clean and very large room. The garden bar/cafe was perfect for a snack or drink when it was hot or we didn't feel like going out.
Cons: Mattress was a little hard for one of us - but this is common all over Greece. A little more shelf space in the bathroom would have been welcome.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Well equipped large apartment, but only those at the front have a good view - the ones at the back are in a kind of semi-basement. Snack bar virtually on site, which delivered to our terrace. Owner very helpful with local recommendations.
Cons: Kitchen facilities a bit cramped. After a couple of days of bad weather, there was no hot water, a downside of solar heating
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Spacious, clean rooms with good facilities. Good location, a short walk to the main resort centre.
Cons: N/A

Pros: The bed was comfortable, the location was great to to get into Sitia and to explore, the kitchen had everything we needed and we loved having a balcony!
Cons: There was nothing that we were unhappy with, the apartment felt quiet small for three people. However, we knew that the third person would be staying on a sofa bed and so the size of the apartment was assumed to be smaller when we were booking so this was not unexpected. All in all, a lovely stay by all!

Pros: the house is fully equipped: air conditioning, washing machine, spacious closets and kitchen utensils. The owners are friendly and helpful. the house is 30 min away with the car from Vai beach, Chiona beach and other famous beaches.
Cons: the location is not the best, the house is located 1 km from the city center and supermarkets. the sea in front of the house is not nice, full of stones and very little beach. You need absolutely a car!!!

Pros: Fantastic appartement with great view on Sitia and the bay. The appartement is fully equipped, spacious and very clean. The hosts are very welcoming. The bed is very comfortabel and the shower is the only one in Crete that does not leak all over the badroom floor. See you next year!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The studio is extraordinary, the impeccable cleanliness, the image on the sea that is very close is soothing. But the most important aspect is the one related to the owner. The lady, because it is about a lady, is extremely kind, with an amazing elegance in communication, eager to help with any information related to the area.

Pros: View of sea from balcony.. staff so kind and helpful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was our second visit to this hotel in Sitia. We would rarely revisit a place without good reason and there are plenty of such reasons to rediscover Sitia in Eastern Crete and its surroundings. The town is rather more Greek than cosmopolitan although on both our visits, there were a reasonable number of foreign tourists to be found. The hotel is well placed just on the edge of the town right opposite the extensive beach, most of which is blue-flag rated. Access is reasonable from Heraklion airport, about 80 miles away. Parking is behind the hotel and can be a little crowded depending on the day and number of guests. Plenty of other parking can be found just outside the hotel complex. We like the hotel as the staff are superb, friendly and relaxed, helpful, nothing is too much trouble and the rooms are attractive and quite spacious. The restaurant is part indoors and part on the edge of the large main swimming pool. The breakfast and supper buffets are very good and the hotel regularly provides special evening themes, such as Cretan or Far Eastern. Prices of drinks are very reasonable considering the class of this hotel. There is regular entertainment in the large lounge area. Alternatively one can stroll into the town and enjoy the Greek 'buzz' especially on Friday and Saturday evenings. Our room faced the hills and we could also see the sea as well as the sunrise and sunsets with a large balcony to view them from. Everything is so clean and carefully maintained. The team of cleaners is very large and the management clearly take a pride in the cleanliness of the hotel and its complex. The welcome at reception is warm and informal.
Cons: There were no problems whatsoever. The car park, though, is perhaps a little crowded at times. I have every confidence that the hotel staff would attend immediately to any issues raised at the reception.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Buffet dinner excellent value and included drinks
Cons: It was good for a couple of days stay but otherwise it is a bit “I’m personable” staff
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Loved the welcome drink on our arrival. Spacious bedroom. Food absolutely excellent as were the restaurant staff. A credit to the hotel.
Cons: Bathroom very small. Hardly any room to dry after a shower. We booked all inclusive. It was far from what we are used to. Arrived after lunch. No where to get a snack so forced to find local place after a four and half hour road trip. The all inclusive drinks were not good at all! Wine almost undrinkable. Cocktails were cheap premixed bottles, overall cheap and watery. We ended up buying proper alcohol at the bar. It would have been better to advertise full board but pay for drinks at the bar and charge slightly less.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: the location was great and the view , comfort bed and the room clean
Cons: the breakfast was not very good, maybe because it's off season!
7.5 Good
Pros: The fabulous Greek food the lovely main pool area and the staff.
Cons: The awful noise from the school trip which the staff did their best to resolve but just couldn’t stop till 3am and the toiletries being in pump dispensers.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: In front of the beach hearing the waves
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Sitia Beach Resort & Spa supports the 5*****.The staff of the Htl (front desk, restaurant, maids Popi & Rita, everyone very professional and always with a smile. Very spaceful room and clean, nice view garden/pool. I was really impressed of the facilities provided and the small details as welcome cards which really make a difference as entering to your room. Easy access to the town of sitia, 5' by foot, nice beach approx. I recommend the Sitia Beach Resort & Spa for travellers who want to spend an excellent holiday & accommodation.

Pros: The hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff was extremely helpful and kind. We got some recommendations of taverns in Sitia and they were really excellent. The room was clean and comfortable, the balcony big and with side sea view. The hotel's location is another advantage - it's very close to the main square and it's quiet.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: The friendliness of the staff
Cons: The hard bed and the noisy plumbing during the night
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff Good location
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly owners who were so welcoming. The hotel is in a great location a couple of minutes from the waterfront with a huge choice of bars and restaurants. We easily got parked in the street outside the hotel in mid April but there is free parking at the harbour a few minutes walk away. Our room had a balcony for two with views over the town and sea. It was quiet at night. The air con also provides heating which we were very glad of as it was so chilly at night. The tv had some English channels which was nice as it was too cold to sit outside which we would usually do. Breakfast was simply but fresh and tasty. It was our first visit to eastern Crete and we liked the less touristy places and dramatic scenery.
Cons: The bed was a little too hard for us and we always seem to make a mess with a shower curtain rather than a screen. You do get woken at 7am by the nearby church bells but you soon grow accustomed to it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was perfect, amazing view, very friendly personnel, good breakfast, all one needs
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The kindest people! Excellent view and location!

Pros: Nice and close to beach and very good restaurants. Best galactomboureko in Greece at Mitsakakis cafe left 200m.
Cons: Bathroom needs an extractor fan.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location across the road from the beach and close to restaurants. Rooms were clean and tidy. Was good to have 2 bathrooms for 4 of us.
Cons: I felt the stairs were a bit unsafe without a railing. Also, it took us a while to realise that the room-key was in the door when we were checking in (there was no-one in the office).
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The view from the balcony
9.5 Excellent
Pros: one of the top spots to stay in Siteia! The view from the balcony was outstanding, the sea and Siteia promenade were really just 10 meters away! Spacious rooms!

Overview Reviews
Almost on the water’s edge, this small family-run complex overlooks the sea and the countryside. Portobelis Apartments are situated on the edge of the town of Sitia, only 10 metres from the nearest tavernas and cafes. All airy, air-conditioned units have a light décor, reflecting the soft colours of the Aegean. Each unit has a balcony, and some face the sea while others the garden. The privately owned travel agency on the ground floor can assist your travel needs. All other necessary shops, restaurants, mini markets, plus nightlife facilities are a few hundred metres away.

Pros: Situation, staff and accommodation. All superb
Cons: Drainage in bathroom - but that was a very minor issue.

Pros: Nice apartment, Maria was amazing
Cons: Owner of the luxury apartments
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The pool is gorgeous. Ideal location for heading into Sitia and surrounds. Manager Maria is just lovely and hugely helpful, nothing too much trouble
Cons: Plenty of glasses and plates but very limited on cooking equipment, not even a bread knife. Not a problem of you're planning on eating out
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The apartment was very nice with a beautiful kitchen (well equipped) and a truly unique bathroom. The balcony was really comfortable with view to the pool and the garden as well as the sea. Stelios and Maria (our hostess) were really great, Maria took really good care of us and made us coffee. Great garden and pool! Excellent place and value for money. Car is essential.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: There place is very nicely landscaped and has a wonderful garden with palms, bougainvillea, fig trees, and more. The salt water pool is perfect for kids and the water is changed regularly. The whole place is maintained very well, the owner obviously takes great care that everything is neat, tidy and nice, which creates are great atmosphere. We had an apartment with two bedrooms (which are equipped with air conditioners) and were very happy with it. It offered plenty of space and the layout was perfect. The furniture is in a modern style and again the overall impression was that (with exception of the bathroom and the kitchen, see comments below) the owner is striving for a high level of comfort. From the balcony of out apartment we had a beautiful view into the garden and also had a see view as promised (on the upper level the view must be spectacular). What I also liked was the very warm welcome. Eleni sent us a very nice email even before we travelled and also welcomed us when we arrived at the location. This was followed up by a warm and friendly email by the owner Stelios. Both gave us the feeling to be welcome and this was done in an exceptionally friendly way which I have not experienced in any other place before. Many thanks for that.
Cons: Some minor aspects which could be mentioned are related to the kitchen, which is not equipped very well: cutting boards as well as long knives, e.g. to cut bread, are not available (we got them in the supermarket) and the stove may allow you to cook some noodles but not much more (one 1000 W and one 700 W heating plate). The fridge was a large full sized fridge with lots of space. However, the bathroom could use some renovation as it is not so modernised as the rest of the apartment. A dripping water tap is only a minor issue, the leaking toilet which caused a constantly wet floor was somewhat annoying. The one aspect which I would like to highlight and which rather limit my excitement about Oceanides is the following: We come from an urban environment and we were looking for a remote and quiet place to spend our family vacation, which we thought Oceanides to be. Unfortunately we were wrong. In the first week of our stay there were two disco parties with blaring music at the pool, which is about 20 m away from any apartment. The 1st event lasted until 3:00 am. When the second event had started, I contacted the owner via email and I believe his intervention cut the party short and the circus ended at 24:00. Which would have been fine, if that had been the end. But after a while someone decided to turn on the music again and start over. The best came the following evening: There is a caretaker of the premises who obviously was angry that I complained about the noise. When we were having dinner on our balcony with music from the mobile, he passed by and had to shout a comment to other guests which was along the line "Hey, no party tonight." A place where the employees do not respect the guests in my view is not necessarily a place where I want to spend my vacation again.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Maria was helpful. Swimming pool excellent. Landscape excellent. Clean. A thoughtful bottle of wine was supplied. Good location for Sitia and exploring local areas.
Cons: Beds pillows and wardrobe quality was poor. No poolside towels supplied.
8.0 Excellent

Cons: No nearby shop or taverna

Overview Reviews
When you stay at Petras Beach in Sitia, you'll be on the beach and 15 minutes by car from Toplou Monastery. Free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cute and quaint little bed and breakfast literally on the sea front. Also within walking distance of the many restaurants in Sitia.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Spotlessly clean. Staff helpful. Breakfast really good. Very generous helpings of cheese and ham toast, feta cheese, eggs, bread , yogurt, fruit compote , cake, juice , tea , coffee all served at our table ... We couldn't eat it all but everything delicious. Plenty of free parking. Beach just across the road. Air conditioning and wifi worked perfectly. Fridge in room .
Cons: Would have liked a shower curtain to avoid a permanently wet bathroom!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Apartment has enough space, nice view of the beach.
Cons: There's a good walk distance to town. Not nice if you walking in the evening or night because there's no street lights.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Sweatness
Cons: The owner
6.8 Good
Pros: There was a nice view from the bedroom and a powerful shower in the ensuite The shower head was fixed to the wall too.
Cons: The bathroom's bin, that was to be used for toilet paper, didn't have a lid. Although there was a cafe in the hotel, it was not manned. It would have been good to have been able to purchase a coffee.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The mattress and pillows were amazing and more comfortable than a $330 USD per night Santorini hotel. The family running the hotel is extremely kind and went out of their way to make our stay pleasant, and you can tell they put time and effort into the hotel. The hotel is directly across from a beautiful beach, only 20 minutes from Vai, and though you would want to drive to Sitia, we ate at Dionysus on the way back from Vai, and it was great. Would definitely stay here again!
Cons: Nothing - it was great!
5.5 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was for extra charge(€6.50) and very limited menu, so the alternative was to walk to town to find more options and it's a good 20 minutes walk along a dusty road with some traffic. To sum it up, Petras Beach was not a kind of place that gave me ' like home feeling'(that's to put it very mildly) compared to other properties where I stayed on Crete.
Cons: Some internet provided info is very inaccurate, such as: Petras Beach amenities( no shower curtain, meaning water on the floor, no electric kettle to boil water for tea/coffee,etc ), wonderful beach across the road ( very unsafe for proper swimming and it's 10 minutes walk to the nearest spot where it is safe to swim), lunch and dinner are not provided there. I know more, but I wouldn't tell...
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Cheap! Nice rooms ... great views
Cons: No bar
6.3 Good
Pros: Beds were nice and comfortable.
Cons: Long walk to the Town on a busy road with no sidewalk for a lot of the way.

7.5 Good
Pros: Nice budget hotel right on the seafront with a great view from the balcony and aircon in the room.
Cons: Can be a bit noisy at night with revellers walking along the seafront but kept under control by keeping the window closed and the aircon on.
7.0 Good
Pros: The location was perfect. Stuff very friendly and kind.
Cons: The room was not so clean but it was better than others I've visited in Greece.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location, friendly staff and nice welcome.
Cons: Easy to bump your head if you walk downstairs from the first floor. It needs a better warning.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great Location, very friendly stuff, terrific view
Cons: Breakfast was rather boring The toilet in the bathroom was very small and squeezed into a small space
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Much better than I was expecting! We had the top floor room which has an enormous balcony with stunning views over the harbour below; really nice. Lots of space inside and out. Decor is a little bit dated but perfectly clean. Great to have a mini kitchen with kettle and fridge etc - a family of four could easily stay in that room. Breakfast was lovely as were all the staff. Sitia is a lovely little place, well worth staying more than the one night we managed. Car park at the rear was a bonus.
Cons: Wish we'd stayed a bit longer
7.5 Good
Pros: Front-sea room
Cons: Wifi
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect hotel! Never been to Sitia? Then you should stay here! Clean rooms, good breakfast, elevator, 50 m from beach, spot on location right by the restaurants. ATM, supermarket, car rental etc., right outside the hotel. Got the penthouse apartment at the top of the hotel. Huge roof top balcony with the most beautiful panorama sight of Sitia, the harbour and the beach. What a lovely room! Modern and fresh bathroom and good beds.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice location, beach and nice restaurant just in front of the hotel
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was in the centre of the town but there was no street noise, it was exceptionally clean. I liked how the toilet shower room floor slightly sloped so the water would actually run to the drain. A small thing you might think but in a few places I have stayed the shower water tends to remain on the floor or run the wrong way. Excellent choice at breakfast. My only regret I was not staying longer than 1 night I will need to go back.

Pros: The room was really big and the swimming pool was great
Cons: Difficult to reach without a car and at night there are no lights, so it can get dangerous
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The rooms are clean, modern and spacious with a reasonable kitchen dining area and balcony. The rooms have plenty of towels and the beds are made daily. Wi-Fi works great. Pool is clean and not over chlorinated fresh water. You get a nice complimentary bottle of water and a small bottle of Raki. Overall We loved it.
Cons: Unless you love walking you will need a car to get to town. Apart from breakfast there is no food offered. You can however order food from restaurants in Sitia for delivery if you feel like an easy night. If you are a large person the shower could be a bit tight. You have a kettle hotplate and fridge but it would have been nice if tea, coffee and milk was available in the room as the breakfast area is cleared after 10am.

Pros: The location of the hotel is excellent, right across the beach and next to all the restaurants. The breakfast was good, basic but there was some selection of products. Amazing roof top bar and a swimming pool.
Cons: The room had a balcony to some kind of backyard, the view wasn't pretty. The bathroom was small and the door wasn't easy to be closed
6.8 Good
Pros: The breakfast was very good The bed was comfortable.
Cons: The pillows were very uncomfortable. The overhang on the balcony of our room 302 was constantly dripping water onto the right side of the balcony so we couldn't be very comfortable. There was somebody else's hair cuttings on the soap dispenser in the shower. The drawers for our small clothes were very difficult to open as they were catching on the wardrobe door.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Bathroom not clean and Shower was broken.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: It's a cheap place to stay in Sitia, not far from the city center.
Cons: There are no beaches nearby. You have to drive a while to reach good beaches.
7.0 Good
Pros: Location, price, silent neighbourhood, balcony, place to hang a laundry, friendly owner, fridge, air conditioner
Cons: The room was nice but definitely too small for three people. It was perfect for one night but for longer stay could be too crowded. The woman in the reception didn’t speak English but it was no problem to communicate, we also didn’t have any problems to mention to the owners.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The people at Hotel Nora are charming and heartwarming.
6.3 Good
Pros: The view from the balcony was amazing! Good position, close to the centre and next to the sea, but away from the packed row of touristy hotels and restaurants that are found nearby. Quiet neighbourhood, with a 5-minute walk you are in the centre. The room was clean and the balcony just great!
Cons: The staff didn't speak any English. Strangely, we weren't asked for any documents and didn't get any kind of receipt... The room included just the basic essentials (toilet paper, towels, sheets, one small soap), which would be ok if we had paid a lower price... The shower was uncomfortable, with no curtains, the floor gets wet.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Staff was kind Location was good if you dont want to be in the center Walking distance to center
Cons: Very uncomfortable beds. Not so high standard. Old furnitures. When showering the floor went all wet in the bathroom.
6.8 Good
Pros: Decent little beach 300m walk to your left when you leave hotel by small park with toilet.
Cons: Could not even borrow a tea spoon. Fridge in room but that's it, bring or buy your own kettle cups an plate cos they will lend you zilch.... .
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Honestly you get what you pay for. The place is cheap and the room was great for a place to sleep. Staff was nice and even and a small balcony. Would stay again.
Cons: Located right outside of town but the price made up for the short walk.
7.5 Good
Pros: Easy parking right outside. Away from town centre bustle but easy to stroll into town
Cons: Bed was exceptionally hard
