Pros: Yao is such a lovely host. He really does take care of his guests. If you need any help or information he will be there. The whole place is really clean. The fan worked and I felt safe during my stay. The meals that were served at A&Y's (I tried pasta and a local dish) were excellent. In the end, I had a few great days at the beach and would definitely go there again! There's absolutely no WiFi around that place. For me that fact was just okay but it might not for others.
Cons: The beach is quite dirty around that area.
Pros: Such a lovely place: individual, clean and tidy, built up with a good taste and lots of love. Close to the seaside, in a peaceful village with fishermen and friendly families and playing kids. In the camp Yaw is cooking for you and reading every wish from your eyes. 10 points +++.
Pros: Great place to stay. Had 4 fantastic nights there and loved every minute of the time spent there. It's probably not for everyone - if your expecting 5 star luxury accommodation then it's definitely not going to be your sort of place, but if you like simple, clean and a great chilled vibe then it's perfect. It's about 5 km from Keta and no shops close by, so it's a little isolated, but well worth the effort it takes to get there. Yow, the owner is a great guy who goes out of his way to make sure you're ok and also serves up some tasty simple meals that will more than fill you up. Great fruit salads! It's one of those places that once you have settled in there, you just don't want to leave. If I ever get back to Ghana it will certainly be on my list of places to go back to!
Pros: Just about everything. It's a quiet place and the owners try everything to make the stay as comfortable as it can be. Very good food, good drinks and smooth italian coffee!
Pros: Its a quiet and private place. Chilled out with a good selection of books/games to chill with in the evening. The location was great, just by the sea and the decoration in the place was really colourful.
Cons: For improvement, there could be a doormat Infront of the rooms so that so much sand doesn't enter the room. There was no light/power but Yaw was kind to give us a power bank to charge things.
Pros: Great welcoming people, 3 minutes walk to the beach, good scenery, nice lodges and free crafting!
Pros: Amazing breakfast (especially the pineapple) and Antonella's pasta is a MUST! when you stay here. Great location if you need some solo time for meditation and reflection.
Pros: Food and decor. Peace and quiet
Pros: The owner is the best host ever! And amazing cook! He is the friendliest guy and can’t do enough to help you, the place itself is so beautiful and set in a friendly village only minutes walk from the beach :) we loved this hidden gem and relaxed so much here! We will definitely be returning, from Dennis (strongman) and Natalia (jungle girl)
