Very clean quaint old style Florida rooms!! Love the screened in porch to sit and relax on! Will definitely stay again and again! Great tile floors just have to watch any baby walking or crawling
I liked the location the office staff was very rude
Cute little front porch with a spacious room with two double beds and a refrigerator. Beds were very comfortable and seemed clean. I would definitely stay here again. A little mold in the bathroom shower and a little smell on entry into the room.
i liked the facilities provided to us, Kitchen etc was ready to use and the cleanliness of the room WiFi connectivity was horrible.
Comfortable bed, has kitchen, microwave, fridge WiFi cooking utensils, next to some waterway. Front desk lady dark skin was very nice fast service Tv was small only in one room and first entering room it smells like bleach
Location was good. It was on the cheaper side for spring break. Well, like they say... You get what you pay for. Pool closes at 10. Rooms looked like a 10x10 cell with converter blocks painted hospital white. Minimal customer service. "Coffee on the dock" was a Themis of coffee that was put out at 7am and empty by 730am. Office doesn't open til 8, so that gave us plenty of time to wait for the refill.
great size room for the $. housekeeping could have paid a little more attention to the details, like the goo on one of the bedspreads. but other than that it was ok.
I spent a night in this hotel in room 125 and from the get go it was not a good experience. The room was not clean, the staff at the front desk was borderline rude. The next morning the toilet was spilling water from underneath when flushed and we were not able to use it. They gave us a room with an electrical stove (we did not ask for it) and the stove was extremely dirty and the microwave was rusted inside. We paid $144 for this place and with a couple of extra $40 could have booked a much better and cleaned hotel room. Bottom line, we packed our things and left asap. Do not recommend this place.
waterfront Bad wifi
Charming old resort hotel with unique architecture, a boat dock area, and pool. Our room had a nice screened porch (Florida room) and a little kitchen area and we were able to park at our door. We were only there one night and didn't use the pool. We were able to brave the highway crossing on foot to have breakfast at a nice little diner.
Not a thing Windows were missing glass, a/c didn't work (and it's the middle of summer!) Animal feces all over the floor. Dirty stained towels. They put us in the wrong room and when we complained they said "oh well, we're completely booked". No housekeeping in 5 days... They refused to give any money back or compensate us in any way. WORST hotel, WORST staff. Ruined our honeymoon!
Location and the large queen mattress was awesome! Cost of the boat slip and trailer parking.
Reasonably priced. Close to one of the nicest beaches in the keys: Sombrero Beach. A small table to seat outside (for example to have breakfast)
Very friendly and quiet, perfect stop before Key West No facilities, but close to shops and restaurants
clen, comfortable, frriendly staff a/c very noisy, unable to use at nightime
For a car-trip the hotel is perfectly situated on the middle-island, not too far from Key West. Servieminded personell and fresch room. Comfortable beds and clean bathroom. All good! Remember that taxes of around 12% is added on the roomprice. This is for all hotels in all of us.
Clean and conveniant
The first impression of the motel was the friendliness and helpfulness of the front desk person, Lacey. The room was very nice and comfy. I would also recommend the restaurant/bar down the road, The Hurricane Grille.
Room was neat and clean and smelled "fresh!" Felt very safe and comfortable.
Easy check in, simple parking, very clean room, and friendly staff. No breakfast.
It was old Florida. Like it has been since the 1950's, but clean and well-maintained. The kids liked the pool. We liked that it had a fridge and nice area outside to eat.
Very clean, nice room. Very kind staff
I like the fact that the hotel was a short ride to the beach.
large room with kitchen and untensils............quiet no on-site pool
The owner was super helpful. He gave us coupons for the attractions we were planning to visit, and he gave us a great restaurant recommendation.
Nothing; It was an horrible staying. The room was unconfortable. On your website the hotel was described as a 4 stars but it is not true.
It was very clean. The garden area was a nice place to congragate It didn't have any coffee or tissues
bad, bad, bad, bad
It was conveniently located in the heart of the keys and was fairly quiet and clean. The hotel staff was very nice and happy to help.
the bed sheets were not clean / used by other guests before
Can't beat it for the price, very clean and smelled nice.
Convenient for the Keys if wanting to go to Key West.Good for local beaches and shops/cafes.Very good for sunsets.I was on part vacation and business is photography and my wife has a gift shop & was able to compare goods sold in the area along the Keys. Closely situated to the main road US1 and close buy to small airport, therefore was a bit noisy at times. The main light under the ceiling fan did not work hence the lighting was a little to low.
Price, location and privacy. Was pleasantly surprised to find it a free standing unit. The mattress in the master bedroom was not comfortable.
Very clean room with plenty of space. I found it interesting that guests will be charged for cleaning fees equal to almost one night's stay if they smoke in the hotel; however, the gentleman checking us into the hotel smoked.
Clean. Over charged. Had to prove that I was correct, then hesitatingly gave me refund in cash. Wouldn't let me cancel reservation without full payment even though 10 days before arrival. Very coarse to customer.
